AN: Some braindead little shitstain calling himself Gobbo decided to post a guest review calling me a derogatory word for a gay man because I called out JKR for being a TERF so I'm going to respond here, on a platform where mr. Gobbo can't reply unless he signs up for an account.

Gobbo, I'm deeply sorry that you feel the need to deal with your own struggles with sexuality and sexual identity by lashing out at fan fiction authors. Despite your ill-placed flailing I want you to know that I see you, and I accept you for who you are. You don't have to hide here. You are amongst friends.

Chapter 30.

"Try something, I beg you." Wrex said to the two now ex-crew members, as he stood just on the other side of the barred door to the brig.

"Due process, Wrex..." Gardner said, half-heartedly.

"Turn around a sec." Wrex said with a savage grin.

"Wish I could." Gardner said, glaring at them.

"So do you wanna hear what we do to traitors on Tuchanka?" Wrex asked. Michaels paled. Roberts spat on the floor.

"Fuck off Alien." Roberts said. Wrex laughed.

"You got spirit, I like that." Wrex said.

"Time to destination, 30 minutes. Ground party report to cargo bay." Joker announced over the PA.

"Maybe I'll tell you when we get back." Wrex said with a grin before walking off. It was a short trip to the cargo bay. He leaned to the side as he walked past other crew members, he'd been surprised at how well the Human crew had adapted to him. At first there were a few collisions and more than one near miss on a brawl but eventually everyone had developed a rhythm.

"Everyone used to their new armor by now?" Shepard asked. She got a series of nods, as well as an especially enthusiastic one from Wrex.

"Ok. Harry you got the Mako ready?" Shepard said.

"Almost, just gotta install the cappuccino maker." Harry said, leaning his head out of the Mako's door.

"Seriously?" Shepard said

"No, of course not. I installed that first." Harry said with a grin, jumping out, already in his armor.

"Interior's more than large enough for all of us. We also installed restraints because apparently our crew is a bunch of big babies." Harry said. He got death glares from everyone except Tali whom he assumed was glaring at him under the helmet.

"Ok, so we've got potentially two sources of resistance on this one, Cerberus and Sovereign with the Geth. We're going in fast and loud, hopefully Cerberus and the Geth will be fighting amongst each other. After dropping us off, joker's gonna keep the Normandy in orbit and watch our backs. Everyone sticks together, you got that?" Shepard said.

"Yes, Commander." Everyone except Harry said. Harry nodded and grinned.

"Just exited the Relay, commander. We got company." Joker said

"What kind of company?" Shepard asked.

"You ever read Lovecraft? Remember Cthulhu?" Joker asked.

"Shit, Sovereign." Shepard said.

"It's just sitting there, I don't think it sees us." Joker said.

"Everyone get into the mako and get those restraints on. Joker, we're going to stick out like a sore thumb as soon as we start reentry, be ready to punch it and head back up to space, got it?" Shepard asked.

"You got it Commander." Joker said. As soon as Wrex waddled awkwardly through the entrance Shepard jumped in behind and made her way to the driver's seat.

"Spirits..." Garrus said, looking around at the spacious interior.

"Harry... is that a bar?" Shiala asked.

"Holy shit you really did install a cappuccino maker..." Kaidan said with a grin.

"Harry why is there a shower in the bathroom?" Liara asked.

"Why is there a bathroom?" Ashley asked.

"Because Harry, Now Focus. Check your equipment and heat sinks, and prepare to brace for impact, no telling how harsh this is gonna be." Shepard said. Everyone looked at Harry when they heard the telltale sound of slurping. Harry was sitting there looking back at everyone, eating a bowl of noodles.

"What?" Harry asked with a full mouth.

"Can I have some?" Wrex said. Harry handed him the bowl. Shepard rolled her eyes and activated the internal systems.

"Reentry commencing, Commander, get ready to haul it." Joker said.

"Understood, everyone prepare to brace!" Shepard said. Most of the crew reached up and grabbed onto hand holds above their seats, Wrex and Harry were too busy fighting over the last of his noodles. The Ship shook violently, then they felt themselves moving forward for a moment, then... free fall.

"Shit shit shit shit shit!" Ashley said.

"Crap... Hey Harry..." Shepard said.

"Green lever to your right." Harry shouted, trying in vain to stretch his arms over enough to retrieve his noodles, which Wrex was happily devouring. The mako lurched as Shepard engaged the retro-booster. The mako slowed drastically before coming to rest with a jolt as they hit the ground.

"Oh thank god..." Kaidan said.

"Goddamnit Wrex gimme my noodles back!" Harry shouted.

"Here ya go." Wrex said, handing him an empty bowl and grinning

"I will end you for this, Krogan... Mark my words." Harry said, scowling. Wrex laughed.

"Joker, what's your status?" Shepard asked.

"We're safely in orbit, stealth systems are green. Sovereign didn't even react..." Joker said.

"Ominous..." Harry said.

"Keep an eye on it and us. If it moves to attack you, head back to the relay, understand?"

"Aye aye, Commander." Joker said.

"Any signs of Cerberus?" Harry asked.

"None, but I've run over three Geth so far." Shepard said. Harry frowned.

"That makes no sense, Cerberus is the one that those two idiots leaked that to." Ash said.

"I don't like this Janey." Harry said.

"Me either... Oh hey Wrex feel like stretching your legs? Got a couple primes up ahead." Shepard said. Wrex grinned and removed his restraints.

"I'd love to, Comman-" Wrex said but was interrupted.

"Oh nevermind, they exploded..." Shepard said. Wrex turned to see a grinning Harry twirling The Elder wand in his hand.

"Fair..." Wrex said.

"Liara, come up here a sec, I think you're going to want to see this..." Shepard said. They were driving along an immensely long, huge, clearly artificial corridor. The walls were lined with cylindrical objects embedded in the wall that looked ancient.

"Goddess... Is this a Prothean cemetery?" Liara asked.

"No idea.. What's that?" Shepard said, as a yellow barrier appeared in front of the Mako.

"Shit we're trapped..." Harry said as another appeared behind them.

"Well there's nothing to do but check it out. Harry and Liara, with me. Everyone else, watch the Mako and be prepared to move quickly." Shepard said, removing her own restraints, as did Harry and Liara. Once the three left the rest of them looked confusedly at each other before Ashley undid her own restraints and walked over to the cappuccino maker.

"What? I mean he put it here for a reason..." Ashley said when she got some funny looks.

"Hey Tali, this has a dextro option, want some?" Ashley said

"Oh, yes please." Tali said.

"What about me?" Garrus said.

"What about you?" Ashley asked.

Shepard, Harry and Liara trudged up along a short path which lead to an elevator, which miraculously worked. The boarded and activated it, walking out once it arrived at its destination. They found themselves face to face with a floating construct of pale orange light.

"You are not Prothean... But you are not machine either... This eventuality is one of many that was anticipated. This is why we sent our warning through the beacons." The light said.

"I have so many questions!" Liara said.

"We don't have time, Cerberus will be here at any moment." Shepard said.

"I do not sense the taint of indoctrination upon any of you..." The construct said but was interrupted.

"Make it Quick please, we are very short on time." Harry said.

"The Citadel is your center of government as it was..." the construct said but was interrupted again.

"Faster. Please." Harry said.

"The Conduit is a relay to the Citadel. The Citadel is a relay to dark space. The Machines are trying to use it to open the way for the Reapers. You should stop them." The construct said.

"What can you do to help us?" Harry asked.

"Prothean Scientists discovered that the Keepers are the key to opening the way to the Reapers. We reprogrammed the keepers to ignore their signal. There is a data file in my console, take a copy when you go, when you reach the citadel's master control unit, upload it to the station. It will corrupt the citadel security protocols and give you temporary control of the station. It might give you a chance against Sovereign." The construct said.

"Harry?" Shepard said.

"On it." Harry said, retrieving the file on his omnitool.

"Ok... what are you doing?" Shepard asked.

"Yoink!" Harry said, pulling an ancient looking piece of technology out of the floor. The construct disappeared, and harry shrunk it and put it in his jacket.

"We can learn more later, right now we need to get to the conduit." Harry said, he took ahold of Shepard and Liara, the latter of which groaned, knowing what was about to happen.

"Sorry..." Harry said. Before she could respond he'd apparated them back to the Mako.

"No time... Strap in." Shepard said, running toward the front. Everyone acquiesced, just in time to feel the Mako lurch forward.
