"I could eat this whole store," Plagg's eyes gleamed as he and Adrien roamed the shelves, as they bought cheese. Adrien laughed. "Be reasonable, Plagg. Even you couldn't eat the whole store." But as soon as the words left Adrien's mouth, he wondered if he could.

All the fall cheeses were on display, and Plagg was in his element. "I'll take one of each!" "You can get three cheeses today. So, choose wisely!" "Only three?" Plagg wailed. "I want to get a gift for Marinette, you know she's not feeling well."

Plagg grumbled, but selected his cheese carefully, and Adrien headed up front, where the owner, Leo, stood behind the counter. "Ah, Adrien! Sampling our newest cheese, eh?"

Leo was a kindly man, both friends of his and Marinette's, and he nodded. A jar of honey cinnamon butter caught his eye. "Oh, those just arrived this morning, but don't wait for those go fast! Excellent on toast, I'm told!" "Toast?" Adrien picked up the jar thoughtfully. "Marinette's under the weather, and toast on a cold day could cheer her up!" "Just don't forget her coffee," Leo laughed as he rang the purchase up.

"Never!" Adrien smiled. "I'll let you know how it is!"

Brrr, Adrien tightened his blue scarf as they headed back into the cold. The leaves were beginning to change, and Adrien was excited for fall.

"Dor the best boyfriend, ever," Marinette told Adrien once he came over. Adrien smiled. "Its no trouble," he said, giving her coffee, and taking a sip of his own. "But I got a surprise for you. Honey cinnamon butter!"

Marinette looked at the jar. "You want to try it?" "I'd was hoping you'd say that. I heard its good on toast!"

Adrien plopped two pieces of bread in the toast, and turned back to Marinette, who was looking at bit sad. "Hey, cheer up. You'll feel better soon." "You want to know a secret?" she asked. Adrien nodded, leaning close.

"Cat and I always make get well cards for each other," she blew her nose. Adrien crunched his toast silently, kicking himself that "Cat" hadn't done that sooner. "The toast was good. I'm going to take a nap," she yawned.

"Do you have any art supplies?" Adrien asked. "I want to work on a project while you nap." Marinette nodded, bringing him supplies then headed up to nap. "Thanks for the toast, love, achoo!"

Adrien worked away on the card, making an autumn theme and even wrote a short poem.

You've got a nasty bug that even Ladybug and I can't cure,

but what that nasty bug can never touch is my love for you.

Stay strong, drink your orange juice and tea!

Love,

Cat

Adrien crept quietly upstairs, checking on Marinette who was fast asleep, clutching something to her chest. Adrien looked closer, finding it was her Cat Noir doll.

Once Marinette got better, they could fully enjoy the autumn days, even if one of the activities was eating cinnamon honey butter toast!
