Art... In the Nude?!
In the dim light of the room, Happy carefully arranged the brushes, paints, and canvas. He rubbed his hands, both excited and nervous. He had spent days trying to convince Carla to pose for him, and finally, after promising her the sun, moon, and stars, she had agreed. Though, of course, with many, many conditions.
"How exciting!" Happy tried not to think about what was about to happen. "Are you ready, Carla?" he asked, somewhat impatiently.
"Just a moment. I'm almost ready." It was Carla, in the bathroom, taking deep breaths to mentally prepare for what she was about to do.
Carla, in her human form, then emerged from the bathroom wrapped in a silk robe that covered her figure. She walked toward the center of the room, her face showing a mix of resignation and a hint of irritation.
She remembered that when Happy first proposed she be his model for a natural painting, she didn't quite understand. But when she found out Happy wanted to paint her without clothes, she was obviously furious and embarrassed. However, Happy had promised to fulfill any condition she wanted, and after much deliberation, she agreed—with many conditions Happy would have to meet if he wanted to avoid feeling Carla's wrath.
"Are you sure this is necessary?" Carla asked, crossing her arms over her chest, still a bit uncomfortable.
Happy smiled, waving his hands as if it were trivial. "Of course it is, Carla. Art requires sacrifices... and, uh, inspiration."
Carla raised an eyebrow, skepticism creeping into her expression. "Inspiration, you say? I hope you're not planning anything weird, Happy. It took a lot for me to accept this."
"No, no, nothing weird!" Happy quickly shook his head, feeling a bit more confident. "I just want this portrait to capture your natural beauty. Something authentic."
Carla sighed, trying to find her patience. "Alright, but remember our conditions." Then, with a bit of hesitation, she let the silk robe fall, revealing her completely naked figure.
Happy blushed immediately, quickly averting his gaze with a bit of shyness. "W-Wow... how perfect. You can sit on that chair, and I'll get to work."
Carla sat in the chair gracefully, though the discomfort was evident in her posture. "Make it quick," she said seriously, clasping her hands on her lap. "I don't want to stay like this any longer than necessary."
Happy nodded, focusing on his canvas. Several minutes passed in silence, interrupted only by the sound of the brush against the canvas. Carla, though tense at first, began to relax, allowing her mind to wander. Maybe Happy really was focused on his work and nothing else. She let her discomfort fade, focusing on anything but her vulnerability.

Several minutes later
"Done!" Happy suddenly exclaimed, breaking the silence. He stood up from his seat, holding the canvas with both hands, clearly excited to show Carla the result. "It's finished, Carla! Look, I hope you like it."
Carla stood up carefully, grabbing the silk robe to cover herself again before approaching the canvas. Her expression changed from curiosity to disbelief in a matter of seconds.
The portrait displayed an exquisite image of Carla, with finely detailed work on her face, hair, and features. Though it wasn't like Reedus' drawings, Happy had his own style.
However, what left her speechless was that the portrait only showed her from the shoulders up. There was absolutely no reason why she had posed nude for Happy.
"Eh?! What is this?!" she shouted, her voice filled with a mix of surprise and irritation. "Happy, explain to me what the heck is this?!"
Happy grinned widely, clearly proud of his work. "It's your portrait, Carla. I captured your essence and beauty. Don't you think?"
"Why on earth did you ask me to undress if you were only going to paint me from the shoulders up?!" Carla was visibly angry, her face flushing with indignation.
Happy stammered, his smile beginning to fade under Carla's growing fury. "W-Well, you know... for... inspiration. I wanted to see how you looked naturally and... that helped me capture your inner and outer beauty…"
Carla closed her eyes, breathing deeply as she tried to stay calm. "Inspiration...? Really, Happy? That's all?"
Before Happy could react, Carla grabbed the canvas with one hand and slammed it against his head with a dull thud, leaving him dazed and stumbling backward.
"YOU'RE AN IDIOT, HAPPY!" Carla screamed, her patience finally exhausted. With her face burning with anger and humiliation, she stormed out of the room, leaving Happy with paint on his head and the broken canvas at his feet.
"B-But... it turned out well..." Happy murmured, holding a hand to his aching head, trying to process what had just happened. When he looked at himself in the mirror on the wall, he saw a smear of paint on his forehead, which only deepened his confusion.
"Maybe... a full-body portrait wouldn't have been such a bad idea..." he reflected to himself, rubbing his sore head. With that in mind, Happy decided it might be best to stay away from Carla... at least until she forgot about his latest idea.
