Strawberry blonde hair swayed in a gentle breeze as a teen, about 15 paused on his way home. Before his eyes was a blue text box, floating in front of him. "What the hell?" He muttered, eyes trained on the floating box. Said box glowed as text began to write itself.

Welcome Kurosaki Ichigo!

Today you have been chosen to be the test subject of Game reapers!

We sincerely hope you enjoy this and all it's benefits

(Full details will be given once you arrive home)

For a lack of better words Ichigo was confused. "Game reapers?" He muttered before sighing. What ever he saw said he'd get more information when he got home. So he decided to head home, curiosity causing his pace to be faster than normal. Normal people might have assumed they were going crazy, but ichigo wasn't normal, no. He was able to see ghosts and the like.

As he reached his home a slight tug at the back of his skull caused him to freeze. In the corner of his eye he saw a small, this time red, screen appear.

WARNING! HARMFUL INTENT LEAKS FROM THE HOUSE!

It read and Ichigo instinctively opened the door then leaned to the left, successfully dodging the leaping form of one Isshin kurosaki. His fathers shocked face turned to fear as a reared back fist impacted his gut. The older man was sent crashing to the wall and to the ground. The older man twitched on the ground as Ichigo just walked past him and slammed the door. "Old bastard" he muttered in both annoyance and amusement. He hated how his old man would constantly try to surprise attack him, but deep down he knew it was his old mans way of testing him. On what he hasn't the faintest idea, but still it helped his reaction time at least.

"Oi karin, Yuzu. I'm home!" He hollered, taking his shoes off and placing them by the door. Karin saw him first, waving. "Welcome back ichi." She said with a small smile before Yuzu came over. "Ichi-nii!" She called out as Ichigo smiled and hugged both.

After a few seconds he backed off, sniffing the air. "Oi Yuzu? Is that Udon?" Ichigo asked as the blonde child nodded. "Yeah, i made Udon for dinner tonight!" She said as Ichigo nodded and smiled. He ruffled her hair to his sisters slight annoyance. "Who ever becomes your husband in the future will be lucky" he said causing his sister's face to flush red in embarrassment. He chuckles, leaving a flustered Yuzu and somewhat amused Karin as he went up to his room. He noted another small red screen before hearing footsteps behind him. He stepped to the right, his father kicking open the door. The door narrowly missed him. "You really just left me out there in the cold to die!? How heartless!" His father roared out as Ichigo rolled his eyes.

"It's not that cold, you would have lived" he said disheartening his father. That was then followed by a book being chucked at his father's face. "Now get out so i can get changed" he said, hiding a small smile. Once Isshin was out he changed, going to his bed. He'd start his homework in a minute.

Once he sat down he was shocked to now see multiple blue screens appear. They went over details such as what the hell was going on, what it did, and how it changed his life.

(First screen)

Welcome Ichigo Kurosaki!

You have been excepted as the Game Reaper test subject!

Game reapers is a ground breaking reality altering program that rebuilds reality to make the "player's" (in this case you) life more game like. This includes everything!

(Second screen)

This program will alter your abilities such as strength, intelligence, speed, and more into upgradable stats. Basically, you will become an rpg character. These stats also change how you interact with stuff

Intelligence for example now means you have to reach a certain number to comprehend things, and if you exceed that number you will automatically be able to comprehend.

(Third screen)

Now that we have got the absolute basics down let's get into the good stuff! Please think Stat sheet to continue!

Ichigo blinked as he finished reading. His life would now be an rpg? Holy hell. Everything turned to stats? Ichigo gained a grin. This sounds like it could be fun! 'Stats' he thought as another, larger screen popped up.

Stat sheet!

Below you will find your "stats". These are numerical values of what you can do! Besides each one will be a small description of what each do in this tutorial!

Lvl-1 (0EXP/150EXP)

Health-1000 (simple enough. Your life bar.)

Spiritual Energy-5000 (the "mana" of this rpg. It is an energy system)

Str/Strength-19_(Strength. How strong you are. How much you can lift, etc)

Dex/Dexterity-13_(Agility. How quick you are, how flexible, etc)

Int/Intelligence-15_(How smart you are. How good at strategy you are, etc)

Per/Perception-16_(Ability to catch things. Ability to notice and understand actions)

Luck-20_(How good the odds favor you)

Once Ichigo finished reading he nodded. This was pretty simple to get. He also assumed his stats were well off for an average guy, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to grind the absolute hell out of his stats. "Is that all?" He muttered before another screen popped up, this time it was a menu.

Pause Menu: When you have this menu up time is paused. You can use this time to think out strategies! Below are the different options and other menus you can choose. Think of it as the Main Menu

Stat sheet-already explained

Skill Sheet- Showcases all skills

Equipment sheet-Showcases armor, clothes, and weapons

Kido Sheet- Basically Magic spells/skills. Falls under a different category than skills.

Awakenings (lvl60 required)- Basically super powered states

Map- the title explains it. A map of the area. Prior knowledge or seeing a map before hand is needed to work.

Quest Log-where your quest will appear. Quest are missions.

Affinity log-where you can check relationship status with people, factions, and areas

Ichigo once again nodded. This wouldn't be to hard to get used to. Plus having the ability to pause would be an amazing advantage! He swiped with his finger, the screen going away. He decided to do his homework now.

He found it insanely easy, like far to easy. Even the material he was previously iffy on he could do with not difficulty. This was crazy!

Due to completing daily quest (Do Math homework!) you have gained one intelligence point and 25 EXP!

Ichigo grinned. He had double the reason to do homework now! He completed his other 5 classes of homework, gaining a level up! He never felt so accomplished by simply doing homework!

He stood from his desk, stretching as he realized something. "Wait. If doing homework gets me a point then would working out work the same?" He asked himself as a screen popped up. It appeared to be a quest, one that was automatically excepted.

Death

Ichigo paled at the penalties and immediately shot up and put on some sweatpants and a t-shirt. He bolted down the steps, surprising his family as he practically leaped down the stairs. "Ichi-nii? Where are y-" she was cut off by Ichigo swinging open the door. "Going on a run!" He called out and closed the door.

He immediately tossed himself into the run. He didn't pace himself, about a quarter in having to stop. He panted, groaning before getting his breathing back under control. After a few minutes he went at again, this time pacing himself and allowing himself to complete it with only one more stop. He was now at the park. He stretched his arms, finding a sturdy tree and started to do some pull ups. He grunted at 10. Nearly roared in pain at 20. Wanted to kill everything at 30. He didn't know pull ups were so difficult! He was strong, able to break noses and jaws no sweat, but this shit was different.

Once he hit 50 he collapsed to the ground. "Guh, hah hah" he panted, forcing himself onto his hands. He began to do some push ups, the previous strain making it all the more difficult. The penalty of death spurred him on.

He had completed it five minutes later, his arms feeling like jelly. "Dear kami, doing this everyday will be goddamn torture" he voiced out through ragged breaths as he began his sit ups. They were easier than the previous two, having no need for his arms. As such he completed them within a few minutes with little difficulty.

Next was squats, which need no explanation. He did it quick, his legs thanking him through intense burning. Still, he blazed through them as the quest popped up saying he was done. "Finally!" He called out as he now hit level 3, gaining another small boost. He smirked. Leveling would be easy! He would gain the power to protect all he loves, and no one would even be close to stopping him!

He sighed, checking the time on his phone. A small prompt came into existence for Ichigo. "Enable HUD for time telling and more?" He read and questioned the meaning before shrugging. After a few seconds of screens he recoiled slightly. Now on the top of his vision was a bar like a compass, on the top right time and top left day. On the bottom left was a 3D mini map, and bottom right was his health and SE.

He now noted though he had been out for about an hour now, so he started his way back home. It took another 30 minutes before he returned, his sisters looking at him weirdly. Though his father was no where to be seen. That was until an alert popped up and just as his dad started to sail at him he ducked, and sighed. "You're getting rusty old man!" He called out to the shock of Yuzu and karin.

Their father stood, rubbing his back with fake tears running down his face. "Rusty? Me? Can't be true" they heard Isshin mutter to himself only adding more fuel to their amusement. Ichigo shook his head, soon after taking a brief shower and then falling into his bed.

Elsewhere though a rift in space appeared, the form of a women stepping through. She was beautiful. Her hair, dark violet, nearly black and braided at the back with two strands framing her face. She had bangs, slightly parted covering her forehead. Her skin, a palish tan, held no blemish. Her figure, slender and youthful, but also well endowed. Her name was Nemu, an artificial soul made by her "father", Mayuri.

She is a kind woman, though very introverted. She is of few words, preferring to showcase through actions. She is also fiercely loyal, seen even now by her continued devotedness to her creator.

She was on a mission now though; research possible reasons why this specific town was so high in Spiritual energy. She remembered her fathers harsh words as she was sent and knew failure was not an option. She suppressed her emotions, any sort of anxiousness or fear was not needed and would only impair her.

The moon shone bright, the figure of a woman dashing through the air being the only scene in a peaceful night.
