In this alternate reality, the Angel Sachiel hovered menacingly above Tokyo-3, its energy blasts reducing skyscrapers to rubble. The Evangelions, despite their power, were being overwhelmed. Even Unit-01, piloted by the reluctant Shinji Ikari, was struggling to keep up, its AT Field barely holding off the Angel's relentless assault. Inside NERV headquarters, a sense of dread filled the command center.

Gendo Ikari sat at his usual post, fingers steepled in front of his face, his dark glasses hiding his calculating gaze. Around him, chaos reigned as alarms blared, and the screens flashed red with the growing threat levels. Ritsuko Akagi furiously typed commands into the control panel, while Makoto Hyûga relayed information, his voice taut with stress.

"This isn't working," Misato Katsuragi muttered under her breath, pacing back and forth. "The Evas can't get close enough to Sachiel without being torn apart."

"We need a new strategy," Fuyutsuki added gravely, glancing over at Gendo. "If the Evas can't stop this Angel, we're going to lose everything."

Silence hung over the room as the tension escalated. Then, Gendo spoke. His voice was calm, calculated, and chilling in its simplicity.

"I suggest we call The King."

The room fell silent, as everyone turned toward him in shock.

Misato's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean, 'The King'?"

Kaji, leaning casually against a wall, raised an eyebrow, understanding dawning on his face. "You mean... Godzilla, don't you?"

"The King of the Monsters," Gendo confirmed, his tone unchanging.

Aoba's fingers paused above his keyboard as the reality of what Gendo was suggesting sank in. "You're insane," he whispered. "Godzilla is just as dangerous as the Angels. He'll destroy Tokyo-3—he'll destroy everything!"

"The Angels will destroy us if we do nothing," Gendo replied coldly. "Godzilla has fought creatures like these before, and survived. He is an apex predator, the ultimate force of nature. We will direct him, channel his power, and he will crush the Angel."

Ritsuko slammed her hand down on the console. "Direct him? How exactly do you plan to direct a creature like Godzilla?"

Gendo glanced at her but remained impassive. "We've studied him before. We know how to lure him. If we use the Eva units as bait, we can draw him into combat with the Angel."

Misato looked horrified. "You want to use the pilots as bait? That's insane!"

But Fuyutsuki, who had remained silent until now, gave a small nod. "It might be our only chance."

Ritsuko clenched her fists, clearly torn. "We can't predict Godzilla's behavior. There's no guarantee that he'll attack the Angel and not just destroy the city."

"We will have contingencies," Gendo said. "If we don't act now, the Angels will tear apart the Human Instrumentality Project, and all of our plans will be for nothing."

Misato turned to Gendo, her eyes hard. "And what about the pilots? Do you even care if they survive?"

Gendo's face remained unreadable. "They are necessary, but they are not irreplaceable."

Kaji stepped forward, breaking the tension slightly. "You have to admit, as crazy as this sounds, Godzilla might be the only thing powerful enough to stand against an Angel. The Evangelions are strong, but Godzilla is a force beyond anything we've ever seen. If anyone can turn the tide, it's him."

There was a long silence, as everyone in the room absorbed the gravity of Gendo's suggestion.

Finally, Misato spoke, her voice low but resolute. "Fine. Let's wake up the King."

With a nod from Gendo, the plan was set into motion. Deep beneath NERV headquarters, hidden files were accessed, and a signal was sent out—one designed to attract the attention of a primordial creature lying dormant beneath the ocean. Godzilla.

Outside, Sachiel continued its rampage, unaware that a far greater predator had just been summoned. The ground began to tremble, and far out at sea, something stirred. The King of the Monsters had heard the call, and soon, the battle for the future of humanity would take a terrifying new turn.
