A week later, Tokyo-3 faced an unprecedented situation. The Angel Sandalphon had appeared, emerging from the depths of a volcanic region, ready to challenge humanity. But something far more alarming had occurred alongside its arrival—Israfel, or rather, the remaining half of the Angel that had fled Godzilla's wrath, had resurfaced as well. This defied everything NERV had anticipated. Two Angels were never supposed to appear at the same time.

Inside NERV headquarters, panic rippled through the command center. Misato stood at the helm, issuing orders as the screen displayed both Angels, converging near the city. "This changes everything. Two Angels simultaneously? That's not supposed to happen!"

Gendo Ikari remained calm as ever, hands folded before him. "Proceed with the plan. Godzilla is bound to notice."

Far away, deep beneath the surface of the Earth, in the molten core of the volcano, Sandalphon prepared to rise, unaware of the danger that had already shaken the other Angels. The plan to destroy humanity and seize control of Earth was supposed to unfold slowly, methodically. But now, with Israfel trembling nearby, Sandalphon's confidence wavered.

"Why do you fear?" Sandalphon's voice seemed to ripple through the ethereal connection between the Angels. "We are powerful. This planet belongs to us. Humanity cannot stand against the might of two Angels."

Israfel's remaining half, however, knew something Sandalphon did not. "You fool," Israfel hissed. "He is still alive."

"Who?" Sandalphon asked, confused. "We were told Adam is gone, and God is beyond reach."

"No," Israfel answered with dread. "Not Adam. The one who defeated him. The King. The one who drove God into the heavens and remains here still, ruling this Earth. The one they call Godzilla."

Sandalphon's fiery form flickered. "Impossible," it spat. "He's a myth, a legend. He cannot be—"

Before it could finish, the ocean roared to life. A massive shape began to rise from the depths. The water churned violently as Godzilla, the King of the Monsters, emerged once more, his massive form towering over the shoreline. His eyes gleamed with an ancient, primal fury, sensing the presence of not one, but two Angels threatening his domain.

Sandalphon, having risen from the volcanic depths, now saw the truth with its own eyes. Israfel wasn't lying. The monster—the monster—still lived. Godzilla, the very creature that had driven Adam from Earth and battled beings far beyond comprehension, was still here. The plan to reclaim Earth, to annihilate humanity, was falling apart before it even began.

"We're doomed," Israfel muttered, its form visibly shaking. "He's going to finish what he started."

Godzilla wasted no time. With a deafening roar, the King charged, his eyes fixed on Israfel. He remembered the one that had slipped away, and there would be no escape this time. His dorsal plates lit up, glowing with atomic energy, and in an instant, he fired his signature atomic breath directly at Israfel. The beam hit with devastating force, and in one explosive moment, the remaining half of Israfel disintegrated. The Angel didn't stand a chance.

Sandalphon watched in horror. The legends were true. Godzilla's power was beyond anything the Angels had anticipated. But Sandalphon, too, was no ordinary foe. It had been born in the extreme heat of the Earth's core, forged in fire and molten rock. It roared defiantly, preparing to unleash its own power against the King.

But as Sandalphon charged forward, Godzilla was already moving. His tail whipped around, smashing into Sandalphon's side with immense force. The volcanic Angel was sent careening into a mountainside, lava spilling from its wounds as it tried to recover.

Sandalphon summoned molten streams of fire, hurling them at Godzilla, but they barely fazed the King. Godzilla stomped forward, unrelenting. His atomic breath fired again, this time striking Sandalphon's core. The Angel shrieked in pain as its molten body began to collapse under the overwhelming energy.

Desperate, Sandalphon lashed out, but it was too late. Godzilla, with all the fury of an ancient king reclaiming his throne, delivered a final, devastating blow—a powerful bite that crushed Sandalphon's core, extinguishing the fiery Angel once and for all.

With both Angels vanquished, Godzilla stood amidst the wreckage, his towering form casting a long shadow over the battlefield. His roar echoed through the skies, a proclamation of his dominance over all who dared to challenge his reign. He had once again protected his territory, and in doing so, reminded everyone—human and Angel alike—that Earth was his kingdom.

As Godzilla turned and made his way back to the ocean, the realization dawned on the remaining Angels, wherever they lurked. Their plan, their hope of reclaiming Earth, was doomed to fail. As long as Godzilla lived, they were doomed to defeat.

Back at NERV, the silence in the control room was palpable. Misato exhaled in relief, though her mind raced with questions about Godzilla's role in all this. "How long can we count on him?" she wondered aloud.

Gendo Ikari, however, merely smiled. "It doesn't matter. Let Godzilla do what he was born to do. In the end, everything will fall into place. For now, the King rules."
