Taka and the others were in a deep pond. Thet washed off the tar and had a little swim while they were at it. Suddenly a roar was heard.

Petrie screamed in horror. "Sharptooth". They all hid behind a boulder and saw Sharptooth. He stood on a rock. Taka was actually getting annoyed. "This isn't hunting anymore, it's harassment".

Littlefoot made the bold declaration. "Let's get rid of him once and for all".

Taka agreed. "He won't leave us alone. It's the only way. And I think I know how to get rid of him". Taka looked at the deep end of the pond. Littlefoot had the same plan and nodded. "We'll coax him to the deep end of the pond. He can't swim with those scrawny arms.

Taka took over. "You and Spike will go up and push that big rock on top of his head. That will make him fall into the water and that will be the end of Sharptooth". Taka turned to Petrie. You whistle when we have him in the right spot where the water gets dark".

Littlefoot took over again. "Now we need some bait, hmm". He looked at Ducky.

"Me? Oh, no". A few smaller no's followed. Littlefoot tried to reassure her. "Don't worry, Taka will go with you".

Taka's eyes widened. "You know, now that I think of it. Must it end in violence, and this plan probably won't work anyway, we could simply spend the rest of our lives on alert".

Sharptooth was in a cave on his search for them and Taka followed with Ducky on his back. Ducky hummed but that made the cub nervous. "Don't do that". Taka's foot was beside a rock. Sharptooth's back was turned to him. Ducky covered her eyes, while Taka got the courage to speak. "Hey, Sharptooth! If you're so tough, how could someone scrawny as me get the better of you".

Taka ran before he could see the response. Sharptooth certainly didn't forget him and had a score to settle. He chased after. Sharptooth tried to bite them, next thing they knew, they were sliding down a hill into the water. Littlefoot was worried. "Ducky, Taka"! Petrie also called their names. While Ducky swam away and hid, Taka ran behind the boulder. He could see the others and that Petrie was attempting to whistle. After some attempts, he got it.

This made Sharptooth turn his attention towards them and Littlefoot and Spike who tried to push. For a second, Taka was unsure if they would succeed. "Push, Spike, push with all your might".

Petrie threw a wee rock at Sharptooth, it didn't do much but anger him more. Petrie found this hilarious, until Sharptooth rammed into the wall, causing the flyer to fall.

"Petrie"!

The flyer was able to avoid a bite by Sharptooth. The predator then blew hot air from his nostrils that pushed Petrie up. As he flapped his wings. "I flying. I flying! I flying"!

Taka smiled, happy for his friend. Taka turned his attention to Ducky who was begging for someone to elp her. Petrie puffed his chest quickly flew down to save her. Taka also ran to assist her. Petrie attacked one of the eyes, while Taka hopped on the snout and carefully picked up Ducky. When Taka thought it couldn't get worse, Sharptooth jumped to the top of the cliff. Littlefoot and Spike continued to push. Taka who was now on top of Sharptooth's head swiped the eye with his claws. Sharptooth roared in pain. Petrie also pulled on the other eyelid.

"I'm coming"! Cera had shown up to save the day.

"Cera. You're back"!

They were able to push the rock and Sharptooth too, off the cliff. Petrie and Taka were both going with him. Taka swiped Petrie away to avoid him drowning. Taka and Sharptooth both fell into the water. Taka watched Sharptooth sink to his death. They all looked sadly at each other. Petrie spoke. "Taka. He save my life".

"He was my friend. Poor Taka.

They slowly walked away, saddened by their loss. Ducky let out a tear. "Poor, poor Taka".

Her sadness was interrupted. "Don't be sad. I'm not dead yet. But I am wet. I hate being wet".

Ducky muttered his name. "Taka".

Petrie was thrilled also. "Hooray, you not dead, we not leave without you".

Ducky rushed to hug him. "Taka, you're safe. Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep"!

They were all happy that Taka was alive.

A cloud turned into the resemblance of a longneck. "Littlefoot". Her voice said his name again. "Littlefoot".

"Mother"!

Her voice called his name calmly. "Littlefoot".

He looked at the cloud. "Mother". He tried to speak but fumbled his words. He finally got more words out. "I tried to do what you told me. 'Sniff'. But it's just to hard. 'Sniff'. I'll never find the Great Valley".

As the cloud went away, Littlefoot panicked. "Mother. Mother! Don't go, Mother! Don't go"! Littlefoot chased after the cloud. He went through a cavern, not wanting to lose it. Suddenly, a beam appeared on her heart, a light started to illuminate. The light was only on Littlefoot. Then slowly, a light appeared over a green paradise with a lovely river.

"The Great Valley". He was awed by what he saw. "Cera, Spike, Ducky, Petrie, Taka, over here". They all rushed to where Littlefoot was.

"Littlefoot, you found it! Yep, yep, yep". They all went to find their families. Taka was about to follow, when a voice got his attention. "Wait, Taka".

He was surprised by the voice and knew who it was, before he turned his head to confirm it. Taka saw the crow, standing there.

He sighed. "Look, I already told you, I made my choice, I want to stay here".

"I'm afraid that's no longer an option".

Taka looked shocked. "What do you mean? It's my decision".

The crow sighed. "I have orders to bring you back".
