In which we finally settle who won the bet between Kisame and Kakuzu, with a special appearance from Pein (Yahiko)
Kakuzu arrived at the bar only to find Kisame going over the security tapes.
"Oi, what you looking at?" Kakuzu looked over Kisame's shoulder to a very pixelated image on the computer screen.
"Checking who won our bet."
Kakuzu sighed. He should have scared the guy away yesterday when he had the chance. "Just because the guy was here yesterday, doesn't mean-"
"Found it. Look at them going at it." Kisame wolf whistled as the two distinctive figures started a hot make out session.
"But are you sure they fucked?" There was still some hope for Kakuzu to get away on some technicality.
"They're going into the dressing room… ok, closed the door, shit, I wish this stuff could have audio too." Not that Kisame wanted to perv on Obito, but he kinda wanted to perv just this one time, just to shove it in Kakuzu's face.
"Fast forward." Kakuzu suggested.
"4am...5am..." Kisame said as he checked the clock on the corner of the image. "Crap, things are not looking good for you Kakuzu… oh here, 5h30 and the weird hair guy's limping!" Kisame extended his hand triumphantly to Kakuzu.
"Whatever, I didn't want your dirty money anyways." Kakuzu paid his share of the bet while rolling his eyes.
"Kakuzu, you were in jail for seven years for money laundering. You only own dirty money." Kisame deadpanned crossing his arms at the obvious lie of his colleague. If Kakuzu wasn't a 1.90m tall, 90 kilos menace with serious mood swings, he'd make fun of him for pouting like a kid.
"What is this I hear about money?" Yahiko joked while joining them in the security room. They called it like that to sound fancy, but really it was just a dusty broom closet with a computer from the ice age and a couple of chairs.
Kisame knew the guy's name wasn't Pein, but he kept calling him like that out of respect for his (very violent) fame from his years in prison. But he'd settled down and became a pacifist since he hooked up with Konan and Nagato. What some good dick and good pussy can do to a man.
"Yo, boss, guess what? Just ripped 50 bucks out of Kakuzu."
"That must've been hard." Yahiko whistled. "Kakuzu doesn't give money not even for the government."
"It was just a stupid bet." Kakuzu said with a petty voice as if he wasn't livid for losing a bet.
"Don't say it like that. You're the one that wanted to bet on Obito's love life."
"Wait, that's the camera close to the dressing room, are you telling me Obito...?" Yahiko didn't even want to finish that sentence. He still remembered the last time Konan caught Obito fucking a random guy in the dressing room. He thought Obito would have learned his lesson by now, but he was either a masochist or a sex addict. None of them good options.
"Ops, yeah, Pein. Your employee is fucking guys on the bar premises." Kisame sent him an apologetic smile and Yahiko grabbed the bridge of his nose and sighed. Kakuzu crossed his arms and let his head fall in defeat.
"Oh boy, Konan's not gonna like this."
"Yeah? She's not gonna like it? I'm not gonna like it when your girlfriend hurls a table at our idiotic horny boss, again, and I have to take cash from the emergency funds, again." Kakuzu bit at him, even fouler mood than usual. And the bar was high, considering the guy was never happy.
"About that, Kakuzu-san, maybe you can think of an emergency fund for fights within the staff?" Yahiko tried to smile at Kakuzu who remained unimpressed.
"Of course. We can start now Pein, when I put your head through that wall and peel off each one of your ridiculous piercings with my teeth."
"That won't be necessary, thanks buddy, I'm good." Yahiko patted Kakuzu's shoulder and dropped the subject.
"So, who's gonna tell lady boss?" Kisame asked the other two referring to Konan, both looking at him with his eyebrows raised. "What? Don't look at me, she always shoots the messenger too."
"I already lost the money, I have nothing else to do here." Kakuzu got up from his chair and left the room.
"Always a gentleman." Yahiko muttered under his breath.
"Why did you even hire this guy?" Kisame chuckled at his boss' dismay.
"You know him and Hidan are a 'buy one, get a second' type of deal, otherwise Hidan would have burned this whole place to the ground by now. That, and he's a great accountant."
"You just say that because you haven't paid taxes for the last five years." Kisame snorted.
"Exactly. Great accountant. I rest my case." Kisame rolled his eyes and got up from his chair."
"Good luck with the mistress, boss." He rested a consoling hand on Yahiko's shoulder before leaving the room.
"Argh, fuck my life." Yahiko sighed again. Why did he love such an aggressive woman? At least she wasn't aggressive with him and Nagato, which is what mattered.
