"It's weird, people just keep leaving food and presents." Juliette commented, leaning against the door of the laundry as Lorelei loaded her washing into the machine.

"Yeah, it is a little weird." Lorelei agreed, pausing to add detergent before turning the machine on. "What did Nick say?"

Juliette shrugged. "Not much. He didn't even really have much to say when Bud dropped off the blanket. I feel like he knows more than he is letting on."

Lorelei kept her mouth shut. Of course, Nick knew more than he was letting on, however he was still debating whether to tell Juliette about wesen and Grimm. Until he decided, he couldn't tell her much without including the whole story. "It's a possibility, I suppose. I'm sure if he is keeping anything from you, it's for a good reason."

Juliette sighed. "I suppose your right. It's just frustrating." She told Lorelei, as they moved back towards the kitchen to start on lunch. "But enough about your brother. How's things with you? You still haven't told me about the 'Not a Date' with that guy. Who, you still aren't giving me anymore information on. Is not providing a lot of information a Burkhardt thing?"

Lorelei laughed. "I'm serious. It was not a date. He's older than me, I doubt he is interested in me like that." She told the older woman.

Juliette rolled her eyes. "Oh please, if he has eyes, he's interested in you." Lorelei shook her head and started peeling the carrots. "You are beautiful, you are incredibly intelligent, and you are one of the kindest people I have ever met. He'd be crazy not to want you."

She joined Lorelei at the kitchen island and started working on the potatoes. Lorelei shrugged. "It is possible for men and women to be just friends you know." Lorelei stated, despite knowing deep down that she wanted Sean to see her as more than a friend.

"I know, now stop changing the subject and spill." Juliette said, brandishing the vegetable peeler at Lorelei. "What's his name? What does he do? Where'd you meet? And how much older than you is he?"

Lorelei let out a small sigh, knowing Juliette would not give up until she had some information. "Ok, his name is Sean. He works in law enforcement. And, he is, I don't know late thirties, early forties maybe. I haven't really asked".

Juliette glanced up at Lorelei briefly. "Ok, that's a little older than I thought." She said slowly. "When you mentioned he was older, I thought it might an age difference of five years, max." She threw the potato peels in the bin and started to chop them up. "And law enforcement, is he a cop?" When Lorelei confirmed he was, Juliette continued. "It's not easy being in a relationship with a cop. They work a lot, there is lots of worrying, missed plans…" she trailed off, possibly realising that she was speaking to the sister of her cop boyfriend. "Sorry, you do not to hear about mine and Nick's relationship."

"It's ok, and I kind of get what you mean." Lorelei told her. "Actually, speaking of worry, how are you doing after the whole kidnapping?"

Juliette let out a breath and shrugged. "I'm ok. Still a bit shaken up." She said, keeping her gaze on the potatoes. "Nick feels awful. He keeps apologising, but it's not his fault. How was he supposed to know that girl was crazy?" Lorelei nodded and Juliette continued. "Its just….it was the second time in as many months when Nick's work followed him home. You know? I thought I knew what I had signed up for but…." She trailed off again, before looking up at Lorelei. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be talking about this with you."

"It's really ok." Lorelei assured her. "Besides, it's the first time in your relationship when Nick's work has directly impacted you. It makes sense that it would bring up some feelings, possibly cause you to reconsider things."

Juliette nodded, biting her lip as she seemed to be considering her next words. "Does it make me a bad person?"

Lorelei looked at Juliette with sympathy. "No, it doesn't. Look, I'm not expert on relationships and I can be a little biased because Nick is my brother, and I love him and want him to be happy. And you make him happy." Lorelei paused for a moment. "But you need to do what is right for you. If what's right for you is walking away, then…." Lorelei trailed off with a shrug.

Juliette put the knife down and wrapped her arms around Lorelei. "Thank you." She said softly, before pulling away. "I'm not sure what I want to do. And I'm sorry again, for pulling you into Nick and mine's relationship drama."

Lorelei gave her a small smile. "You'll figure it out. And, again, its ok. As long as you don't start talking about your sex life…."

Both women started laughing at Lorelei's comment.

Spring Break was approaching. Lorelei kept meaning to reach out to Sean to see if he wanted to meet up, but she had been busy. They had interacted via text message a few times, checking in and seeing how the other was. Lorelei was still trying to decide whether she should bite the bullet and ask Sean whether he wanted to just be friends or something more. However, she was afraid to making a fool of herself, of being rejected. Sean wasn't like a lot of the people who expressed an interest in Lorelei. He was well established in life, a pillar of the community. They may have had some things in common, but their lives were vastly different. The more she thought about it, the more Lorelei was starting to convince herself that Sean's interest in her was purely platonic. Perhaps he looked at her like Monroe did, as a younger sister. But still, a part of her truly wanted more, for him to her soulmate.

Before her classes one day, Lorelei headed to the campus café in desperate need of caffeine. As she joined the line, she smiled to herself when she saw that Katie was working. Katie was a sophomore studying architecture. She would flirt with Lorelei every time she was in the café. If Lorelei was honest, she flirted back. Lorelei did like Katie; however, her attraction to Sean and the fact that Katie was wesen had prevented Lorelei from taking the plunge and asking her out. Katie did not seem to be aware that Lorelei was a Grimm. She had seen Katie partially woge one day a few weeks ago. Lorelei had quickly looked away, afraid if Katie were to realise, she was a Grimm that she may start avoiding her. The last time someone she interacted with regularly had realised she was a Grimm; he had fled the state.

"Hey Lorelei, the usual?" Katie asked, flashing Lorelei a big smile.

Lorelei nodded, returning the smile. "Yeah, thanks Katie." She replied, handing over the payment. "Any plans for Spring Break?"

After she had finished writing Lorelei's order down, she accepted the payment. "Not really, I have friends heading to Los Angeles, but I have to work." She rolled her eyes and Lorelei laughed. "How about you?"

"Same, I have to work as well. Being an adult can suck sometimes." Lorelei said.

"Don't I know it." Was Katie's reply. "Here's your change, that'll be ready soon."

"Thanks Katie." Lorelei stepped away from the counter and sat at a free table near the pickup area. She opened her planner to remind herself what was on the agenda for the day, however she kept glancing up at Katie.

Katie was cute and from what Lorelei knew was an out and proud lesbian. She was only a year older than Lorelei, compared to the roughly twenty years between her and Sean. The downside being that she was wesen and may lose interest when she found out Lorelei was a Grimm. There was a possibility she wouldn't mind, Monroe seemed to have no issues being friends with Grimms. Maybe once she realised Lorelei wasn't going to kill first, ask questions later, she might be open to dating. But what if she did have a future with Sean. Lorelei inwardly groaned. Why did dating seem so complicated? Maybe she'd be better off alone.

Lorelei's thoughts were cut off when she heard Katie call out her name. She got up and grabbed her coffee, giving Katie a shy smile before returning to her table. Lorelei pulled the sugar container closer to her to add some extra sugar to her drink. It was as she was putting the lid back on the cup that she noticed extra writing on it. Looking closely, she saw that Katie had written a phone number and the words call me on the side of the cup. Lorelei quickly looked up and her eyes met Katie's. Katie was clearly trying to play it cool, but Lorelei could see she was nervous. Lorelei gave her a smile and a thumbs up sign to indicate she was fine with the move Katie had made. Katie looked relieved, returned the thumbs up and returned to work.

Lorelei took a sip of her coffee. She would call Katie and arrange to meet up. She would tell her about being a Grimm and let Katie decide where to go from there. If Katie was cool with it, then great.

Katie would probably be a better fit for her than Sean anyway. Maybe.
