Hey guys we are back with another one, not gonna say much but thanks for giving my story a read, and also for the favs and follows makes me think i'm doing something right well lets not make you wait go on... and read.

Three years had passed since I was reborn as Ai's child. The film that the Director shot had been reasonably well-received, and he even got nominated for the Director's Prize at some prestigious awards ceremony. Even the movie that Indy starred in was a runner up for his performance, even if the film didn't win, it was highly praised. Reflecting on it, I thought my acting had been quite skilled, but Indy to my surprise showed just as great of way he acts is almost like Ai's acting where when you see him you can't stop looking, he was a natural. When I asked him about it he just shrugged and said he was doing what his gut was telling him, whatever that means. However, in the end, it was Ai who had carried the entire film.

I wasn't sure if that film had been the springboard, but Ai had landed a lot more work afterward. To sum up Ai now, she was a major up-and-coming idol and media personality. It felt like she was on the cusp of something big.

Ai was soon turning twenty, and so far, we had managed to go about our daily lives without being uncovered by the public. And to my great relief, my real identity and my past life's corpse had not yet been discovered.

"Hmm, you're looking cute again today!" Ai beamed, looking at her children dressed in their school uniforms. "Super cute!"

"Well, you're cuter overall, Mama," Ruby replied with a sweet smile.

Aqua raised an eyebrow. "What's with this rivalry?"

"Who knows…" Indy looked over to Aqua adjusting his school backpack. "Sometimes it's better to smile and act like you understand them."

We were finally enrolled in preschool.

At the preschool playground, Ruby and Aqua found themselves huddled together at the base of the slide.

"That reminds me, what were you doing before you were reborn?" Aqua asked his sister. "And how old are you really, anyway?"

"Well…" Ruby contemplated the questions for a moment, then jumped as a realization hit her. If I was younger than he was…

In her imagination, Aqua crossed his arms mockingly. "What the heck? Should've figured you were just a kid. From now on, you better listen to everything I say, junior."

"I'm an adult woman, okay?!" Ruby retorted, her confidence slightly wavering. "Asking about a woman's age… what an insensitive brat you are!"

Ruby turned to face the slide, preparing herself to go down it. "Besides, who cares about my previous life?! So quit prying, Nosy!"

Aqua rolled his eyes but conceded. "Well, I suppose you're right."

Thinking about her past life made Aqua feel depressed. He had grown to love his current life as a child, and his old memories only brought him down.

He opened up a book. Compared to my days at a demanding job, being a preschooler meant I could eat, sleep, and read books as much as he pleased. It was a relatively easy gig.

Ruby cheered as she went down the slide..

That said, it's really something how seriously that girl is able to play…

Two preschool teachers nearby noticed the unusual sight. "Huh? A preschooler is reading one of Natsuhiko Kyogoku's tomes…"

As Aqua was reading a shadow loomed above him, he looked up and what do you know it's Indy giving him a playful smile…oh boy.

"Hey, stop reading that book and help me look for some beetles." Indy says crouching in front of Aqua.

Aqua sighs. "Are you a child or something?" Aqua asks, as Indy just inspects himself " I mean… technically I am."

"Nevermind."

"Come on man, you've been reading that damn book all day and I'm bored. How bout we play tag!"

"Go play with Ruby then, I'm sure she'll play with you." as Aqua continues reading.

Indy just gives him a pout as he turns around to walk away. "Man~, kids these days don't know how to have fun anymore."

Aqua widened his eyes after coming to a realization. "Wait, actually I wanna ask you something. What was your life like before you reincarnated?"

Indy stopped and looked over his shoulder. "My life? Well… it's not that interesting but… I guess there's no harm in telling you." Indy turns and plants himself down next to Aqua. "Plus, I kinda need to get this off my chest anyway."

"Well let's see, it was the year 1988. I was in my 20s living at home with my Dad and my little sister. My mom died when I was young." Aqua looked in surprise as Indy continued. "I was always the kinda guy that got into a lot of fights back in highschool. Sometimes I get into fights for dumb shit like who'd get the last yakisoba or over some hot chick." Indy chuckles at the memory. "Me and my buddy Juro would always kickass back then… The unstoppable duo they'd called us, life was good… until after I graduated highschool."

Indy furrowed his eyes as Aqua looked at him curious and pushed him to keep going. "What happened?"

"My dad collapsed one day from overworking and the bills were rising. So I had to grow up quickly and decided to get a part time job to help out, but it wasn't enough, I didn't know what to do until Juro came to me with a way to make lots of money was to compete in illegal street races. I got my license sometime ago and decided to compete."

Aqua thought to himself. That could explain why he's so obsessed with cars all the time…

Indy continues. "I completed my first race and actually won and once the money started rolling in, it was a game changer. So I did more and it got to the point where I was starting to like it, so I would always drive on the mountain roads to get even better. It seemed like life was going my way, making lots of money and helping my family get through the hard times. It felt like nothing could go wrong…"

"I'm sensing a 'but' there." Aqua cut in.

"Heh, You can say that…" Indy chuckled as he smiled sadly. "I was going to this one race that would give a big payout. Before I went, my sister, knowing about my racing habits told me not to go but I told her if I won this race I would take her to go see an Idol concert, she really liked idols you see. Always told me she wanted to be one, honestly Ruby kinda reminds me of her." He looked over to were Ruby was playing around with other kids reminiscing of his own sister.

"We made a promise that I'd come back and take her, but… that was the last time I would see her."

Indy clenches his fist his tears begging to come out. "I went to the race and all was going well, until my car started acting up and I couldn't control it." He was breathing hard. " I tried to gain control but couldn't Juro was yelling over the radio but it was all noise and I went off road and…"

Indy stopped his face dark, tears breaking from his eyes.

Aqua looked at him worried if he would have a panic attack. He had never seen Indy show this side to him that he's never shown before. " You don't have to go on if you want to."

Indy looked at Aqua with tears in his eyes. He rubs his eyes on the waterworks. "And now… I'm here. The only thing I regret is not taking Saya to that concert." Indy looks down depressed at the thought."

Aqua rubs his back comforting the poor boy. "I see… I'm sorry for bringing up bad memories." Indy just shakes his head at this. "Nah don't apologize, like I said I needed to get it off my chest. Plus it's not all bad…" Aqua tilts his head to the side. "Really, How so?."

Indy just gives him the biggest grin. "Cause I have you guys now." Aqua looks at him stunned. "You, Ruby, Ai , Miyako, even Ichigo, you're all part of my family. Even though I lost everything I got a second chance at life, and I'm not gonna waste it crying about it." Indy looks to the sky clouds moving above slowly, he takes a breath. " Instead of worrying about stuff that doesn't matter, I'll enjoy this life and keep moving forward."

Aqua looked at him in awe. Indy, someone that is usually simpleminded, boisterous, and hot headed was giving off a man wise beyond his years. It was like he was a character from a Shonen jump manga that came to life.

I guess I was wrong. Indy was a righteous person…No.. He is a righteous person. Aqua thinks to himself as he looks back at his brother only to see a stag beetle right in his face. "Hey look! I found one!" Indy yells as Aqua gives him a blank look.

Nope… still the same Indy.

The preschool classroom buzzed with excitement as the elderly teacher gathered the children for their dance routine practice.

"Okay, everyone, it's time for your dance routine," She announced, her gentle voice carrying through the room. "It won't be long before your families come to watch your dance… so let's practice hard today!"

The children, filled with youthful energy and anticipation, responded eagerly. "Yes, ma'am!"

But amidst the enthusiasm, one voice rang out in protest. Ruby abruptly stood up and yelled. "No! I won't do it!"

Ruby bolted from the room, her tiny feet carrying her away like a whirlwind, leaving behind a surprised and concerned teacher.

The teacher called out, her voice filled with urgency. "Ruby-chan!"

Outside the school, on the outskirts of the playground, Indy and Aqua made their way to where Ruby was hiding behind a tree, her face tucked into her knees.

Indy sat down next to her, a soft smile on his face, he asked gently. "Why'd you run away like that, Rubes?"

Ruby, her voice muffed by her knees, replied. "Because I'm bad at dancing. Or rather, I've never done it before."

Indy just tilts his head at this. "How can you be bad at something when you've never done it before?" Aqua joined in, concerned in his voice. "Did you always stay cooped up in your room and play there?" Indy gives him a look to say 'really' as he looks back at his sister again.

Ruby hesitated for a moment, her thoughts drifting back to the times when she was a cancer patient, the pain, and the struggles she had endured just to walk. "I guess I was similar to a shut-in. I tried several times but could never do it. I don't feel capable of real exercise."

Indy placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "You don't get good right away y'know, these things take time. I won't ask about your past, but I will ask what you're gonna do now in this life. There's a whole world out there for you to take. Even if you struggle, me and Aqua will be there to give you a shoulder to lean on so don't worry."

"But…" Ruby mutters out but Indy wasn't having it so he grabs her shoulders and looks at her face to face. "Look, the impossible is possible! All you gotta do is make it so!"

Ruby slowly raised her head, meeting the caring gazes of her brothers. In that moment, she felt their support and realized that maybe, just maybe, she could overcome her fear of dancing and step out of her comfort zone.

Inside their home's dance room, Ruby stared at her reflection in the mirror, taking a deep breath before attempting to dance. She lost her balance and fell to the ground, instinctively

protecting herself from any pain, but she couldn't stifle the scared gasp that escaped her lips.

Suddenly, the room's lights turned on and Indy walked in. He crouched down before her and said. "Ya know if you keep dancing like that you're gonna break something Rubes."

Ruby bit her lip, her gaze dropping to the floor. "I... I just want to be as good as Mom," she said, her voice tinged with sadness. "I just wanna be able to dance like her."

Indy shakes his head at this. "Well you're not gonna get anywhere dancing like that." He closes his eyes and ponders as he suddenly gets an idea. "Hey! How bout I show you how to dance."

She looks at him with a blank stare of disbelief. "You… Dance? I can hardly believe out of everyone, you know how to dance."

"Of course I can, back in my old life they called me the Boogie King… I think?" He says as he walks over to the stereo box and finds a song.

"Why do you wanna help me anyway it's not like you have any interests in idols?"

He looks back to her and smiles warmingly. "Yeah… but it's a big brother's job to help her sister in need." He finally finds what he's looking for and starts playing the song.

(Rock this Town by Stray Cats starts playing)

As the old rock song starts a lively beat fills the room playing, Indy starts to dance, his movements exaggerated and goofy. He's shaking his legs like there are ants on him moving around like a crazed maniac, but his face shows a smile as he's in the groove. Ruby watches in disbelief at her brother's antics, never in her life has she seen this kind of dance before it looked almost comical. She starts laughing.

"What are you doing!?" She laughs holding her stomach. "What kind of dance is that?"

Indy looks towards her, not stopping. "Rockabilly! It's what me and the guys back home danced to. We'd dance like this all night at the parking lot blasting this all through the night! Come on, you try!" He offers her a hand.

She shakes her head at that never in her life. "No way!" But soon Indy grabs her hand and brings her to dance. "Here let me show you! It's fun!" She sighs and agrees, no point in changing Indy's mind when he's like this.

As they dance she struggles a bit but soon starts to get into it as much as she isn't a fan of this genre of music she can't but actually let loose at it. "Am I doing this right?!" Ruby asked, yelling over the music.

"There are no right moves, just go with the you go! Just like that!" Indy yells laughing.

The two have fun dancing together, they spun and twisted, the music enveloping them as they laughed. The room felt alive, their movements intertwining like vines, and for a moment, nothing else mattered. At least until the song ends.

The two take a breather as Indy turns to her giving a thumbs up at himself. "See, what I tell you I'm pretty good at dancing huh?"

She giggles. "I guess, You really know how to dance like an old man." She says teasingly as Indy just pouts at her. "Oh yeah, then show me how to dance like an Idol then." He challenges.

Ruby smiles at that and accepts his request. "Sure, but we'll start with the basics since you're a beginner." He gives her a smug ass smile determined to prove her wrong. "Alright bet!"

As they both stand, Ruby puts on one of Ai's songs (Sign is B) and starts practicing. Ruby dances with grace and skill going with the rhythm of the fast pace song. As for Indy, while having high stamina helps to keep him going, he struggles to keep up with her. He soon falls on his ass tired and sweating from the dance. "Okay…maybe.. Not so easy." He says catching his breath.

Ruby puts her hand on her hips. "It's only the basics."

He rubs his head smiling at her. " I know, but see what I tell ya Ruby, you can dance!" Ruby eyes widen realizing this as he continues "You don't have to be like Mom, you just gotta be you Rubes." Ruby was surprised her own idiot brother that always fought and argued with her was actually praising her. She couldn't believe it. She thought all this time that she couldn't because of her old life but Indy's words hit like a truck. No one in her life other than Ai and Doctor Goro had ever said anything so encouraging to her… it made her happy.

"Man I'm tired from all that I think I'm gonna-" But before Indy could say anything Ruby quickly hugged him, muttering silently to him. "Thank you… Big brother."

Indy, surprised at his sister, soon smiles warmly and hugs her back. "Anytime…Ruby."

"Oh my, how adorable" A new voice alerts the two to the door only to find Ai with her phone in hand. "You two were so cute together dancing with each other that I had to record it." She says walking up to the two showing them the video of them dancing with each other.

"What the...How long were you there for!?" Indy asked, embarrassed to be caught in 4k.

"Oh, I've been here since you played that rockabilly song. I didn't even know you can dance like that Indy. Where did you learn that?"

"Uhh.. Internet!" he says nervously hoping she would believe him.

"Ah I see, my kids are so talented!" She gushes as the two sigh in relief. Seeing that Ai was here now, Indy gets an idea. "Hey Ma, why don't you show Ruby how to dance? I know you're better at it than me." Ruby just gives him a look of shock.

The mother Idol ponders, putting her finger on her chin. "Hmmm… I suppose you're right, I do have a concert coming up and need to practice." She looks at Ruby smiling like the sun. "What do you say Ruby, want to join me?"

Ruby looks up to her mother still kind of nervous, until Indy places a hand on her back and lightly shoves her forward. She looks back at Indy and he gives a thumbs up saying to just go for it. She smiles as she goes up to Ai determination in her eyes.

"Teach me how to dance Mama!" Ruby says cheerfully as Ai smiles at her. The mother-daughter duo go in front of the mirror and practice dancing.

Indy just sits to the side watching them with a smile as they dance their heart out.

"So you actually helped her out." A voice says that Indy looks to see Aqua walking in and sitting down beside him.

"Yup, I'm a man with many talents." Indy says as Aqua nods still looking at the duo practicing.

"She really is talented. She's not only good at acting, she has a sense for dance, and good looks that she got from her mother…" Aqua points out as Indy listens to him. "I just had a scary thought."

Indy just gives him a blank stare then just flicks his forehead softly causing Aqua to look at him annoyed. "You worry too much." Indy chuckles then gives him a smile. "Like I said, it's too much of a drag to worry about stuff like that. Just relax and enjoy the moment."

Aqua looks at his brother. His free spirit nature is still an enigma to him but he guess he had a point. No point in worrying about something until it happens. So until then he guesses he can enjoy this memory of his family.

"Man, this is some good booze," Ichigo exclaimed, waving a bottle of wine in his hand. "Come on, celebrate your new digs with a drink! Drink up, Drink up!"

"Wow, that's a Moriizou!" Ai observed.

"Not so fast!" Miyako intervened, reaching out to take the bottle from Ichigo's hand. "Ai doesn't turn 20 until next week. Please wait just a little longer."

Ichigo chucked. "Ah, you're right, got me there!"

Their attention then shifted to the TV, where a news channel was covering Ai's recent accomplishments.

"The TV drama Ai stars in is climbing up in the ratings!" Ichigo cheered, wrapping an arm around Indy, who didn't seem happy with the gesture. "And B-Komachi's work schedule is packed too! Next week we're finally performing at a stadium!"

"He's certainly in a good mood." Ai remarked.

"Well, it was always the President's dream to have an idol he nurtured make it to the stadium. A dream all us staff share." Miyako explained, her smile reflecting her pride.

Ai tilted her head in curiosity. "Are stadiums really that special?"

"They carry a different weight compared to other venues. Moreover, you can't even book a slot without going through a specialized company. The proficiency and track record of staff who can manage a huge number of spectators is vital." Miyako elaborated. "Plus, there's a rigorous screening process to see if an artist is 're venues that require a large amount of commitment and a lot of staff labor. Simply having money doesn't mean one can perform 're stages onto which only a chosen few can concerts are what everyone dreams of."

"I see." Ai replied, taking in the significance.

When I sell well, everyone is pleased. So I'll put on the appearance of being happy too.

Miyako poured herself a glass of beer and Ichigo another drink before they clinked their glasses together.

"This is an important period! So be sure not to have any scandals!" Ichigo jokingly admonished Ai. "Please don't try to meet up with their father, you hear?"

"Of course." Ai reassured him.

I'm a compulsive liar. Before even thinking, I say whatever fits the situation. Even I can't distinguish my real feelings from lies.

"Mama, pat me." Ruby whined.

Ai obliged, gently patting Ruby's head. "Pat! Pat!"Ruby sighed in contentment bliss.

For the longest time, I've been bad at loving something. I thought I couldn't possibly be suited to be an idol.

Ai remembered the time when Ichigo had first scouted her. I thought if I frightened him a bit, the scout would leave. My impression of idols was pure beings who flashed smiles and brought happiness to everyone's faces, the polar opposite of me, a people-hating liar.

...Hearing his words afterward, I decided to become an idol. I wanted to love someone. I wanted an object for my love. I thought if I became an idol, I'd be able to love my fans. I wanted to say 'I love you' and have it come from the bottom of my heart, so I spouted the lie of "I love you' endlessly.

Indy, having enough of Ichigo's shenanigans, breaks free from the drunkard's grip and runs over to Miyako hugging her waist as he cries fake tears.

"Miyako~ old man Ichigo is acting weird. He spilled his drink on me. Plus his breath smells awful." Indy fake cries to her as Miyako rubs his head softly. "There, there it's okay, Ichigo just celebrating… a bit too much I would say." Miyako says as she stares at her husband disapprovingly.

Ichigo, flabbergasted, tries to calm his wife down. "Wait, I wasn't doing that-" Ichigo tries to explain but see's Indy smirk at him seeing that he got in trouble.

That little brat…

"Whatever, I still got Aqua here. Come here kid" Ichigo exclaims as he pulls the said boy to sit with him much to his annoyance.

"Here just come sit with me." Miyako coos picking up Indy and placing him on her lap. Indy sighs in satisfaction as he gets comfortable.

Ai looks at his son with Miyako and gets jealous. She's his mother for crying out loud he should be sitting on her lap. "Indy you're gonna make your Mama sad. Come sit with me."

Indy looks at her then sighs as he gets off Miyako's lap and walks over to Ai and sits with her.

Ai, seeing that she won her son over looks at Miyako with a look of smugness while Miyako gives her a blank face at the Idol. Ai begins to pat her baby boy happily.

"See much better right~" Ai coos at her son. "I guess, but Miyako's lap felt way better… " He mutters softly embarrassed.

Ai hugs her son in a tight grip, not letting him go. "Eh? No way Mama always has the best lap." She starts smothering the poor boy. "Even when you grow up and find a girlfriend, you'll still love me right?

Ah! Okay! Okay! I love ya mom! Just stop cuddling me will ya!" Indy complains as Ai stops patting the boy's head, happy with his answer.

"Good boy~" Ai coos.

I thought that if I became a mother, I'd be able to love my children. But I've not once told my children I love them. If I were to utter those words and realize I was, in fact, lying… the thought of it scares me. That's why today I will once again lie, believing the lies will become the truth, even if I end up paying for it one day.

As Ai regards her thoughts the show gets interrupted by a newscaster. ""...and in breaking news, a tragic incident during an illegal street race has turned deadly." The anchor, an impeccably dressed man with a serious expression, faced the camera. "A police car pursuing a racer lost control and crashed, resulting in the death of Officer Shiranui... We send our regards to the family...

"Oh my, how horrible." Ai says solemnly as the two other adults have the same reaction.

"Oh man, that's messed up," Ichigo muttered, his brows furrowing as he leaned closer to the screen. "They're really cracking down on those races."

"Yeah." Miyako agrees with her husband. "But it's not like the authorities can catch these racers. The law prevents police from pursuing them. All so they can prevent deaths like this."

The news soon showed a picture of a Black Porsche 911 Turbo with the words 'Rude Boy' colored gold on the side of it. "If any one has any information on the vehicle or culprit please report to your local authorities immediately."

This catches the attention of Indy as he stares with a grim look. That Porsche… Why do I get a feeling like I've seen it before? As Indy tries to rack his brain trying to remember, all he gets is the feeling of dread…

Ai was engrossed in her social media feed as Ruby was fast asleep on the bed, while Aqua was changing into his sweater. Indy was already ready to go but he had the urge to eat something before they left. "Hey, Imma go get something to eat from the fridge real quick. He says as Ai looks towards him. "Ok, but make it quick! Ichigo will be here anytime now." She calls out as he nods his head and proceeds into the kitchen.

As Indy goes to look in the fridge his head gets this funny feeling all of a sudden, he grips his head feeling like a headache. He suddenly hears an ominous voice behind him. "Ah, I finally found you." Indy's heart raced, and his hair prickled on end. He turned slowly, dread pooling in his stomach. There, looming in the shadows, was a massive white wolf with fiery red eyes that glowed like embers.

To Indy it looked demon-like, supernatural in its nature. The wolf approached slowly like a predator finding its prey, as Indy backed up to the wall scared for his life.

"Hey! Hold on!" Indy fearfully says as he closes his eyes. The wolf took a step forward, its powerful frame moving with an eerie grace. It was now close to his face that he could hear it breathing. "I won't hurt you Ichi, I am a friend" The wolf's voice was deep, rich with authority yet somehow soothing as Indy looked in surprised that the wolf knew his real name

"What, how do you know my name?" Indy asks surprised that it wasn't gonna eat him.

It chuckles as Indy says this.

"We have met before, don't you remember?" To which Indy tilted his head at the HellHound. "Am I supposed to know?"

"I see… you don't remember." He says calmly. "Then how about in this form." Indy looks as the Demon Dog shrinks and transforms into a white furred Kishu Ken. The memories soon start coming back to him. "I remember now, you're…that dog I gave food to at the convenience store."

The dog sits wagging its white tail side to side. "That right, I am an Inugami, a guardian spirit. I am here to help you Ichi on your journey through this life, as you helped me. For one, I have reincarnated you into this body you call Indy." He explains as Indy looked perplexed.

"You reincarnated me?" Indy asks as the Inugami continues. "Correct, I was there when you fatally met your end and in that moment used whatever power I had left to revive you. Because of that I couldn't appear until I regained some of my energy back. All these years I have been looking for you, but I am here now in your mind."

"My mind?." Indy looks around now realizing that the kitchen he was in lost all its color as the dog continues. "Yes, we are in your mind, where time has stopped at the moment so that I can speak with you."

"Whoa crazy…" Indy exclaims. "Wait, if you revived me then you also revived the others like Ruby and Aqua right?" Indy perceived but the white dog shakes his head. "The other two were not of my doing, but of another spirit. Though their reasoning is unknown to me,"

"Another spirit?" Indy asked to which the dog started pacing around him. "Yes, I am on a quest to find this being, but it's proving to be a challenge. All I have to go by is that they are connected to your siblings."

"Is that why you're here? To find this spirit or whatever.." Indy asks

"Yes and no. While I am here to investigate the being, I came here with grave news for you, an unknown threat will befall your family." He says in a serious tone. Indy looked at him confused. "What threat?"

The dog soon looks in the direction of where Ai and the others are. "The threat that will be the cause of your mother Ai's demise." He says grimly.

As Indy lost all color in his face. "Ai…will die…You're lying!"

The Inugami looked at him sadly. "I am sorry, but that is what will happen, it is her determined fate."

"Isn't there something we can do, I mean you're like a god or something aren't you. Can't you do something?" Indy desperately asks as the dog gives a sad whine. "This is all I can do, my power is weak from when I revive you from death's door. All I can do is give you this warning."

Soon the unsaturated world starts breaking apart like glass shattering. "What's going on?!" Indy yells.

"The connection is breaking, my time is up." The Inugami says as he slowly disappears. "You must prepare, Ichi. Trust in your instincts they will lead you on the way of life. I cannot stay long, but I will always be watching over you. We shall meet again!" As the Inugami finally disappears in a cloud of smoke.

"Waaait!" Indy screams as the world collapses into darkness. Soon Indy opens his eyes, he sits up from the ground grabbing his chest as he catches his breath. He looks around the room back with its colors back in the real world. He stares at where the Inugami was, but he was nowhere to be found...

Indy tries to gather his thoughts on the situation

Ai will die, he says there's now way I can believe that. But… if it's really true then I gotta be ready. Indy looks down and sees a knife and goes to pick it up. His memories of his time with Ai, Aqua, Ruby come to his mind. Those fond memories with them are precious to him like hell he's gonna let somebody take that from him. Fuck that. I'll do whatever it takes to protect this family of mine.

"AI!" a voice yells, sounding like Aqua. Indy widened his eyes, coming to realize that this is the moment that Inugami was talking about.

He runs towards the door knife in hand, his heart beating fast as he proceeds to open the door. What he finds shocks him to the bone as he sees A hooded man in front of an Ai knife in hand with blood dripping from it. He looked towards his mother, her hand covering the side of her stomach, there was so much blood on her and the all looked at Indy with a surprise look on their faces. Ai looked to her son concerned for his safety. "Indy stay back, it's not safe, let Mama handle it!

At this point everything in Indy's mind broke when he saw his mother look back towards him with tears in her eyes. The only feeling he felt… was rage.

He rushed so fast towards the intruder that even he was surprised at the sudden motion. With a great roar Indy yelled at the top of his lungs. "YOU BAASTTAARRDD!" He plunges his knife deep into the hooded man's stomach.

The man, shocked at the boy's action , proceeds to kick Indy away, shoving him off himself. Indy let go of the knife, still plunged deep into the man as he soon started bleeding.

"INDY!" Both Ai and Aqua cried out.

The man started to freak out as he tried to pull the knife out. "You little shit!" The man yelled with a grunt as he pulled out the knife and proceeded to get his bearings as he focused on Indy. "You're gonna pay for that!" But all he saw was the boy's menacing face like an animal backed in a corner ready to fight for his life. The stalker freaked out and backed away.

"What the-"

" I'LL KILL YOU WHERE YOU STAND!" Indy screamed at the top of his lungs.

The intruder was seeing flashes of what looked like an oni right behind Indy. Its figure imposing with its Blue skin, glowing red eyes and sharp teeth its mouth spewing smoke as it breathed. This kid was trouble he thought to himself. Soon he leaves out the door running leaving a blood trail where he went.

"YOU BETTER RUN COWARD!" Indy screamed running to the door yelling at the retreating assailant.

"INDY STOP! AI"S HURT REAL BAD!" Aqua screamed at his brother. Indy breaks out of his rage and looks back only to see Ai sat by the door struggling to breath as Aqua tried to aid her. He runs over to help sliding towards her other side, his face in a panic.

"Ma I'm here it's going to be-" Indy tries to reassure but Ai soon grabs him in a bear hug soaking him in blood. "Indy!, Why did you do that, you could've gotten hurt…" she cries out.

Ai was beyond scared when she saw Indy attack the man . All sorts of thoughts went through her mind that he could've died right there and then her baby boy would have ended like her. Thank the heavens that nothing happened. "Why…" she muttered. "I'm your mother, it's my job to protect you. I could've lost you…"

Indy looks down sadly. "I'm sorry mom…"

Aqua was on the phone with the emergency service. "-Get over here quick!" He looked over at the two. "I called the ambulance, just to hold on Ai!"

Ah, I shouldn't be mad at him, this isn't the time for that. He was only trying to protect me and Aqua, such a good boy I raised. Ai brings both Indy and Aqua together in a hug. "Come here you two." She whispered softly.

"This is probably…the end for me.." The two shiver in fear when she says that. She rubs their back soothingly. "Your… both not hurt, are you, Aqua…Indy."

They both uttered no, tears coming out of their eyes Ai's blood soaking their clothes.

Ai just smiles glad they are both okay. She looks off to the side. "I wonder if today's concert will get canceled?...I feel sorry for everyone. The movie schedule has been finalized too. Apologized to the Director for me."

Soon banging is heard through the door as Ruby wonders what's going on the opposite side. "Hey what's wrong?…What's going on over there?" She asks worryingly.

"Stay back, Ruby.." was all Aqua said to her. She gets frustrated banging on the door harder. "TELL ME!"

"Ruby." Ai's voice suddenly calls to her, catching the girl's attention . "Your dance at the preschool event… was wonderful.

"You know, I was thinking maybe you'll become an idol one day, too. Mother and daughter performing together…Sounds fun, doesn't it…"

"Aqua, will you be an actor?" She asks Aqua as she hugs him closer. She does the same with Indy. "Indy, I don't know what you wanna do… but I believe whatever it is you do, I hope… you'll be great at it." Indy cries clenching his teeth at her question.

"I wonder… what kind of adults you'll grow up to be…" she utters silently.

She looks toward the wall with a picture of all four of them posing for a family picture. "Aw I liked to see you with your school backpacks…And on parents day…I want people to say, "Isn't she a bit to young be Ruby's mother?"

She takes a breath. "As the three of you grow up… I want to be there to see it. Not that I was the best mom or anything…but I'm glad I gave birth to you."

"Ah, I gotta tell you this…" Ai realized as she put one hand on the glass door and the other holding both Aqua and Indy together.

"Ruby…Aqua…Indy."

"I love you."

"Ah, I was finally able to say it… I'm sorry… it took so long" She cries as she hugs her sons tighter. "I'm so relieved. Those words definitely weren't a lie…

Ai shuffles a bit and grasps both Indy and Aqua head to look at them.

"Ai?" Aqua mutters.

"Mom, please… don't leave…" Indy croaks wet tears in his eyes.

Ai lets out one final tear as her bright starry eyes finally fade away only left with a smile. The once top Idol that took Japan by the storm. The dream has ended…

Ai Hoshino has died.

As the three siblings cry over their mothers death a looming figure watches them from afar as crows fly around her. "So you weren't able to change it… How unfortunate, but don't worry next time you will have your chance, I have great expectations from you, Indy Hoshino."

Ryosuke Kaihara was in an alleyway breathing hard, laying on top of a pile of trash near a dumpster. He gritted his teeth in pain at the stab wound in his stomach. The brat got him good. Honestly he didn't have alot of time left.

His vision was hazy as he struggled to see, soon he spotted a shadow looming over him. As he squints his eyes to make out the figure.

It was an imposing man probably over 6 '0, he was wearing a red puffer jacket, black tank top, and dark jeans. The man had one long scar going across his rough face. He blew a puff of smoke from his cigarette looking down at Ryosuke, a phone in his other hand as he was on a call with someone.

"Yeah, I found him lying in an alleyway like a bum….He's still alive, what should I do?" The man talked to the person on the other end. Ryosuke was confused as to who this man was.

"Alright… I'll get it done." The man ended the call as he crouched in front of Ryosuke.

"Please…help…me" Ryosuke pleaded as the man chuckled at him mockingly. "I don't think that's gonna happen Mr. Stalker. Ya see my guy on the other end doesn't want ya leaking any info to the authorities. I will say you did good on ending that Idol's life so good work." The Man's face turned serious, scaring Ryousuke to the bone. " But to be stabbed by a little runt like that that's sad…"

The man grabs Ryousuke's knife and puts it in his hand making him hold it. "This is where your journey ends…"

Please… don't do-" Ryosuke cries out but the man puts his gloved hand over his mouth. "Shhhhh… Don't struggle boy, or else it's gonna hurt more than it needs to."

The man makes Ryousuke stab himself right through his heart. He tried to scream but all that came out as a muffled noise as the man made sure he didn't scream. Ryousuke breathed his last breath as he died, his eyes dead cold like a fish. The man touched his neck making sure there was no sense of a heartbeat.

The man stood up and puffed his smoke as he sighed looking at Ryosuke's corpse like it was a sack of shit. "What a shitty world we live in… where a man kills an idol in cold blood, leaving her three children motherless. This sin that the man committed is overbearing thus he ends his life along with his great guilt…"

The Man stays silent and soon he smiles in a twisted grin. "At least, that's how the world will see it…" He chuckles. He turns around walking away from the crime he just committed. He pulls out car keys and pushes a button. A Black Porsche 911 Turbo beeps and he gets inside turning on the car and driving away from the scene.

The sensational news that an idol had been murdered by her fan after which was found later in an alleyway, died due to blood loss broke before an hour had passed. Even though Indy was the one who caused it, the police stated that it was in act of self defense and they kept it under the radar for the safety of his privacy and future. The public response was largely sympathetic.

However, just as I feared, there were some who treated the deceased like a plaything and sought to attract attention to themselves. With so many speculations and nasty anonymous writings, there were some that landed close to the truth.

The kids were in a room as Ruby was looking through the comments on social media about Ai's death. One particular tweet caught Ruby's eyes stating "It's so, hardly surprising she got stabbed to death." She was beyond furious when she saw it.

"What do you mean 'hardly surprising'?"

"Well!"

"If an idol gets a romantic partner, it's hardly surprising if she's murdered?! Huh?!" Ruby cries out. "That's a bunch of crap!"

The two brothers listen as Ruby continues to yell at the trolls. "You go and fall totally in love with idols! So isn't it selfish to say idols can't fall in love?! You're disgusting! DIE!"

She drops the phone on the ground. "Why is the internet like this?" She mutters softly. "Mom is dead, and now there's all this stuff that makes me wanna die."

Indy, hearing this, gets up and walks over to Ruby and embraces her; she's surprised at the sudden hug from her brother.

"Ruby! Who cares what other people say!" Indy cries out. "They're a bunch of nobodies, how would they know what Mom was like!

"Don't ever listen to people like that, it's not good for you. Ai is a good person and a great mother, always believing that."

Ruby calms down at that and hugs him back as she cries on his shirt staining it, he didn't mind she just needed someone to lean on. "Big brother, why is everyone like this, why…"

He rubs her back. "I don't know, there's always gonna be people like that. You just gotta show them you're better than that."

"Right, Aqua?" Indy says looking towards his brother in confirmation. Aqua stays quiet for a second like if he were in a trance until he notices Indy speaking to him. "Yeah…sure." He manages to utter as he goes back to being quiet.

Indy just gives him a troubled expression. It seems Ai's death hit Aqua the hardest. It's not like Indy knew what could cheer him up; Aqua was always kinda reserved with himself. But that doesn't matter, Indy was dead set to help his siblings through the hard times.

Once three days had passed, the content surrounding Ai's death had run its course. And after the news turned slightly early snow paralyzing the transport network, the topic wasn't brought up again. It was as if the snow… was covering up Ai's death.

As for us, its seems the president and his wife had transferred us to their family register, so we never became front-and-center news

"Would you consider becoming my children for real? Miyako asked the triplets crouched right in front of them. "Of course, Ai-san will always be your only mother, and you don't need to think of me as your mother…But I do think of you three as my own children. How about it?"

Miyako waited for their answer, soon enough Ruby stifled a cry and hugged Miyako answering her question. She waited for the two boys to answer, Aqua stayed quiet not moving but Indy came close to Miyako looking right at her face. "Miyako… I'll do whatever I can and help you out, that way you won't have to burden it all by yourself."

Miyako shakes her head at that. "There's no need for you to do that, you just need to look out for Ruby and Aqua."

"But then who's gonna look out for you?" Miyako looked at him. "Ichigo's kinda out of it since then, so let me burden it with you." He states like it's law. She sighs as she ruffles his hair giving him a soft smile. "I'm guessing you're still gonna do it even if I say no" He nods.

"Silly boy…" Miyako smiles sadly.

The day of the funeral was quiet as everyone said their condolences. Everyone that was associated with her came. Her idol group, directors, even her fans, thought they had to stay outside. Ichigo was somewhere, probably drinking away to cope with his loss. I honestly didn't pay attention to the whole funeral. The whole time I was just looking at Ai's picture above her coffin, blaming myself that I could have been quicker to prevent her outcome. The funeral went by without a hitch as the three of us sat in the back of the car.

Ruby looked out the window as Indy sat in silence and Aqua scrolled through his phone.

"Mama said… that maybe I would become an idol." She speaks up. "Do you think I have what it takes to be one?"

"It's no use of becoming one anyway, right?" Aqua speaks up. "If you want to make money, a different job would be quicker and easier, and the fans are always selfish, and you'll face a barrage of criticism if you get a boyfriend."

Indy looked at his older brother with a stern look for squashing Ruby's dream like that, but in all honesty he was right.

"Yeah, even so…" Ruby mutters. "Mama sparkled."

"I say do what your heart tells you Ruby." Indy speaks up, getting both of their attention. "If you don't, you'll come to regret it sooner or later."

"Do you even know what you're saying? Look what happened to Ai, is that how you want Ruby to end up!" Aqua yells as he berates Indy.

"I don't, but I don't want her to give up on that dream. Once you give that up, all your left is nothing! So if you won't believe her I will." Indy states as Aqua frowned at him as he goes back to scrolling through the phone. "Believe all you want, I'm still against it."

"Indy…" Ruby calls out as he looks towards her. "Thank you."

"Yeah…of course" Indy solemnly smiles at her.

As they sit, Aqua soon gets a realization. That stalker and the man who killed him are one in the same. How did he pin down the hospital she was admitted to. And how did he find Ai's new residence when she just moved to a new residence. The guy was just a student without any special skills; he couldn't believe him to be capable of such detective work.

Someone was feeding him information; someone close to Ai. As far as he knew it was only the president that knew Ai was in the hospital. But he couldn't have done so or else that would be the end of the face of his agency. Her coworkers of B-Komachi, but they weren't even that close to Ai, somebody in her contacts. That could only leave one person.

Was his own biological father. Ai never mentioned him, always keeping him a secret, there's a high probability that he's in the same industry.

I can't die yet. Not until I find him and kill him by my own hand!

Aqua's thoughts were interrupted by Indy grabbing his shoulder, shaking him. "Hey Aqua you alright, you had this scary look on your face?" Indy asks worryingly.

Aqua looks at as he gathers his composure to ease his worries. "It's nothing, I was just thinking is all." As Indy gives him a questioning look. "Ok… if you say so." he says as he looks out the car window.

I can't let them know, especially Indy, who knows what he'll do if he finds out. I gotta do this on my own but how? Maybe that Director can help me getting into the Industry.

Back in the Auto Shop Adachi was seen working under a car tightening a bolt of sweat dripping down his face. As he was working one of his apprentices came in with a confused look in his eyes.

"Umm Boss, are you almost done down there?" He asks as the man responds back with a gruff voice. "Just about, gotta just tighten up these bolts, why?"

"W-well… there's some kid here to see you, says you know him."

"A kid you say." Adachi says while moving out of the undercarriage of the car. He grabs a towel wiping the sweat from his forehead. "And I should care, why?" Adachi asks while flicking his lighter to light his cigarette.

"Says his name… Indy" The apprentice replies as Adachi looks at him surprised, finally lighting the cancer stick.

He smiles in a grin. "Well now… why didn't you say so, bring him in!"

"Of course, sir!" He salutes and goes back to bring the boy in.

A few minutes pass as Indy walks in with the apprentice. Adachi smiles at the kid giving a hearty laugh. "Well, if it isn't my wonder boy! What brings ya he're to my shop? Where's that lovely mother of yours and that Cute Ai-chan at?

"Well she's just outside waiting…and Ai… she was murdered." Indy added sadly. Adachi gives him a sympathetic look. "Oh… I'm sorry for your lost kid. You must be takin it hard."

"I'm managing, I guess." Indy mutters.

"To think a world class Idol like her was murdered, what has this world become…" Adachi asks as Indy stays quiet.

Adachi blows a puff of smoke as he sighs. "So, like I said, what brings ya here to the shop?"

"Well you remember that offer you gave me, I came to take you up on it." Indy says while Adachi waves his hand. "Ah, I wasn't all that serious abou-"

"Please! Take me in as your apprentice!" Indy bowed to him, his head facing the floor. "I'll do whatever you need, oil change, brake changes, whatever just let me join."

"And why are ya so desperate to join?" Adachi questioned.

"I want to help my family out by making some money, it's only Miyako and my siblings."

As the boy begs Adachi scratches his chin in thought. "Hmmm…. You're really serious about this, huh?" Indy just nods his head.

Adachi just sighs, dropping his cigarette on the ground then putting it out with his boots. "Alright then I'll take you and lift your head up boy. I'm not no shogun for you to be bowing at me."

Indy lifts his head up smiling at his answer. "But you better not cry about anything I make you do." Adachi offer him an open palm

"Of course, I won't let you down boss!" Indy exclaims as he shakes his hand finalizing the agreement.

10 Years Later…

The neon lights of Tokyo flickered in the cool night air, casting a kaleidoscope of colors over the bustling parking lot where adrenaline and ambition collided. Modified cars lined the asphalt, their sleek frames gleaming under the fluorescent glow. A faint hum of anticipation filled the atmosphere, punctuated by the occasional roar of engines revving in the background.

A man ambled through the throng, his hands stuffed into the pockets of a worn red leather jacket, his blonde hair tousled by the breeze. He watched as groups of spectators gathered around the cars, admiring the meticulous details of each souped-up machine. He saw a bunch of women in skimpy outfits strutting their stuff. Not a bad sight, just the usual car meet up. A couple of guys leaned against a cherry-red Mazda, their voices rising above the din.

"Twenty bucks on the Skyline!" one of them shouted, his excitement contagious.

"Pfft, you're crazy! The Supra's got this in the bag!" another countered with a laugh, slapping a fist against his palm.

The man in the red jacket smirked, amused by the banter, but didn't intend to get caught up in their wagers. He was here for a different reason, something deeper than mere competition. As he navigated through the crowd, he felt the pulsing energy of the night vibrating against his skin.

Suddenly, he collided with a solid form. The man he bumped into was tall, with a tattoo snaking up his neck, and an expression that could sour milk. He turned, eyes narrowing like blades.

"Hey! You better watch where you're going!" the tattooed man barked, stepping forward.

The man paused, a grin breaking across his face. He turns around revealing an older Indy now sporting a Fohawk-Mullet haircut and piercings on his ears. His starry eyes shined bright on his purple irises.

"My bad, man. Didn't see ya there,"
