Disclaimer: We all know I down own the right to Victorious, the show is property of Nickelodeon, simple as that.

Author Notes: I don't know how these ideas keep happening but honestly after finding out that there's an International Coffee Day, I knew I had to come up with something especially since we know that Jade's love for the drink is well established in canon and this was the end result.

So as always do read and enjoy my dear readers.

Tori sneakily walks over to her wife who is drinking her first cup of Coffee for the day.

The former Goth eyed her spouse suspiciously, knew her Tori could be as quiet as a mouse when she wanted to but this time it's almost as if her dorky wife wanted to be noticed.

"What are you up to now, Vega?" Jade wondered in mild exasperation. "This is what I get for marrying someone who is a walking ball of sunshine… Damn it, it's way too early for this."

The former Goth was so deep in her train of thoughts that she failed to notice when her Happy Go Lucky spouse sat down on the kitchen counter with a wide smile on her face.

"Hey, baby." Tori said mischievously. "What you got there? Coffee?"

"Vega, your powers of deduction are implacable." Jade said with an eye roll. "Yes! It's coffee and right now this heavenly beverage is the only thing that is making me tolerate your cheerfulness at the crack of dawn."

"Ah, my loving wife knows what to say first thing in the morning." Tori chuckled. "Quick question baby, who do you love more? Me or Coffee."

"Vega, that's like asking me if I want to die in a fire or drowned." Jade said dryly. "I don't have a death wish while I'm still in the prime of my life, so no chance in Hell am I answering that."

"Come on, just play along." Tori said, her smile never wavered. "I promise I won't get mad."

"Oh that fills me with so much confidence Vega." Jade said with heavy sarcasm. "But fine, but let's me go on record that you said you wouldn't get angry but just to be safe, remember that I have a pair of scissors and I'm not afraid to use them on Kuddle-me-Kathy, I'll take that toy as a hostage if I have to! You hear me Vega!"

"Setting the semi-criminal comment aside, I promise it will be worth it." Tori said. "So come on, do you love me more than coffee?"

"Vega, I love you right after I have my first cup of coffee." Jade replied bluntly. "But before I take my first sip, I want to kill anything that gets on my way, the only reason you're spared my wrath is because you're the first person I see every day and the last one before I hit the hay, and I get to hold you all night and keep my nightmares at bay, so you're like my bed coffee, except you make me sleep a hell of a lot better that decaf ever could."

"Oh that was so cute!" Tori gushed. "But that still technically doesn't answer my question."

"You picked up on that, huh?" Jade commented with an eye roll. "Go figure… Well Vega, let me put it this way, back in High School I said so many times that I always wanted to marry coffee but I married you, so what does that tell you?"

"So, you're saying I'm coffee?" Tori asked teasingly.

"It depends."

"On what?"

"Whether you see it as a compliment or not." Jade commented.

"Oh, I see it as something very good, all right." The Latina said with a smirk. "I mean, for starters I'm very bold."

"Debatable, Vega." The Thespian teased as she took another sip from her coffee. "Bold would imply that you take risks and last time I checked your definition of a risk is to take a a spoonful of an expired yogurt."

"Hey! I cheated dead!" Tori argued. "I could have gotten food poisoning!"

"But you didn't." Jade replied. "But you know what? I prefer you stay out of danger, need I remind you what happened on The Gorilla Club?"

"Moving on!l The Latina shouted evasively. "Now, you can't deny that I'm also very hot."

"I'd be a blind idiot to deny that." Jade said bluntly. "I like my wife like I like my coffee, steaming hot."

"Real smooth, baby." Tori chuckled. "I also like to think that I make you pretty happy."

"It's basic math, Vega." Jade grunted. "Cup of coffee plus a hot Latina equals a not so grouchy wife."

"But I think the most important thing is that overall I really love being inside you." Tori said boldly. "And I bet you do too."

This made Jade choke on her drink before giving her wife an impressed look.

"Ok, Vega, I'll admit, you got me there, that was pretty bold." She said with a coy smile. "How did you come up with that one?"

"Wasn't hard." Tori shrugged. "I mean we have sex as often as you have coffee."

The Latina then walked over to her wife's personal space and have her a kiss just seconds after the Thespian took another sip from her drink.

"Now let me ask you something." Tori said with a teasing smile. "What tastes better? Coffee or me?"

"I don't know Vega." Jade said as she rubbed her chin with her finger, giving the impression that she was pretending to think very hard on the matter. "It's such a difficult decision, let me take another sip from my coffee and another kiss from you to make up my mind."

"Ahhh…. So good… " The pale woman said after she drank from her cup of Joe. "Think you can top that, my Sweet Sally Peaches?"

"Challenge accepted." The Latina said smirking seductively as she took her wife's drink away from her and then sat on her lap and next thing Jade knew, Tori began kissing her passionately.

After several minutes which seemed like hours both women parted lips and they looked into each other's eyes, Tori couldn't help but ask with some smugness in her voice "So… Did I beat coffee, West?"

Jade didn't say anything at first, however she did take another sip from her cup, not once did she take her eyes off her wife's lips.

"You're a sneaky one, aren't you Vega?" Jade asked rhetorically. "I can taste Java in your lips, did you had some before I did?"

"Nope." Tori replied coyly. "What I did do however was to put some black coffee lipgloss, now you got another good reason to kiss me every morning."

"Coffee lipgloss?" Jade repeated incredulously. "That's a thing?'

"Sure is!" The Latina nodded as she showed her wife said item. "How you like them apples?"

"Well… I'll be damned." Jade chuckled. "Looks like I really did marry coffee."

"Enough talking, more kissing!" Tori ordered playfully.

"Your wish is my command, you dork." Jade said with a smirk. "You just became my favorite type of Coffee, Vega."

"Oh I'm honored." She said before she put some more lipgloss, this time Mocha flavored.

They kissed once more.

Tori knew Jade enjoyed drinking a cup of Joe every now and then, so to commemorate her love of coffee, Tori got creative and wanted to start the day with both some laughs and love.

"Happy Coffee Day, Jade." Tori said between kisses.

"There's a Coffee Day?" She asked. "Well that explains your not so sneakily planning, Vega… Thank you."

"Love you Baby."

"Love you too, Vega." The former Goth replied. "Way more than coffee… Always."

I'm aware this is my shortest chapter yet but honestly I had trouble coming up with a much longer idea, I mean we all know Jade loves coffee and rather than to have this chapter be about our favorite married couple having to drink coffee, I got creative and thought Tori could use Jade's love of coffee in a way that made their morning less mundane and more humorous and loving

Fun fact: As it turns out National Coffee Day in the U.S. was on September 29 while International Coffee Day is on October 1st and since I missed the first date, I thought I could come up with something for today.

Anyway, as I said this chapter is short and possibly a bit mushy but I just wanted to write something that makes it clear that if Jade had to pick between Coffee and Tori, she will always pick her wife.

How could she not? Tori knows her better than Jade knows herself as the former knew that there was a day to commemorate Coffee while the latter didn't, I just loved adding that little bit of irony, heh.

As always Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.
