"Tsukune!"
The young man grinned, standing further up the path to the bus stop. He was wearing a faded green tee shirt and a pair of navy blue jeans. He waved as Moka hurried to his location.
"Morning, Moka."
It had not been intentional but Moka and Kurumu both had on their pink sundresses today. The vampire bounded ahead of her sister, holding the strap of her black tote against her shoulder. Like Kurumu, Moka had on a strapless bra but hers was white while Kurumu's was black. She surprised even Tsukune when she suddenly hugged him.
"I missed you."
Tsukune chuckled, returning the embrace.
"We just saw each other yesterday."
"Just kiss him already."
Kokoa's comment caused Moka to detach from Tsukune with flush cheeks. The younger vampire had on that short sleeved, peach shirt which bared her midriff. Her white denim jeans hugged her hips, clinging tightly to her legs all the way down to her ankles. Crimson tennis shoes graced her feet. Her silver hair was pulled up in a ponytail secured with a black bow which was her familiar.
"We have all day for that."
"Yes. No reason to rush."
Kurumu chuckled, strolling behind Kokoa. She should have picked herself up a pair of sandals like the ones Moka had on. These black wedges were more suited for formal occasions but were the best shoes in her arsenal for when she wanted to go without socks. She held the strap of her lavender purse which rested upon her right shoulder.
Koyomi walked alongside Kurumu with her white tote and bag of soiled clothes. The dark blue dress the succubus had on was not that much different than the silk garment she had slept in. It was open in the back and had short sleeves, flaring out at the hips to end a little below her knees. The cut in the back was so low that anyone close enough could see the split of the girl's cheeks. Apparently this was normal attire for her village as leaving their wings and tails out was not a big deal.
Yukari's two apprentices were strategically walking behind Koyomi, marveling at her boldness. Imai was sporting a white tee shirt with short pink sleeves and a graphic of a hummingbird. The khaki cargo shorts were loose like what a guy would wear. Meanwhile Tanaka was rocking a frilly white, short sleeved dress which fluffed out at her waist and ended shy of her knees. White stockings covered her legs down to her school loafers. Both girls had their schoolbags containing their clothes from yesterday.
As Yukari had agreed to escort these two around town, the young witch had gussied herself up in that black dress with the white hem. Only the thin straps graced Yukari's shoulders as she had on her black strapless bra beneath the garment. This dress appeared to be two separate pieces since it had a white band stitched about her waist, marking the start of the pleated lower half of the dress. Naturally Yukari had on the velvet black flats and the black beret with white trim which had come with the dress. Her yellow tote dangled from the cords resting in the crook of her elbow.
"Well you don't have all day."
Kokoa stopped by the couple. To the right was the trail which ended at the clearing with the second year dorm. The trail on the left went to the dining hall.
"I want Kurumu back by five. She needs to make a romantic dinner for Nagisa and do my laundry."
Moka giggled as the rest of the group arrived.
"Am I to spend the night with someone else?"
Kokoa shrugged, adjusting the strap of her green tote higher up her shoulder.
"That's up to you but I don't recommend sleeping with Tsukune."
Moka blushed with wide eyes as Tsukune chuckled sheepishly.
"That won't be happening."
"Yea. I might walk you home again but nothing more."
"So who are these three girls?"
Kurumu grinned at Tsukune's curiosity, gesturing at Koyomi.
"This is Hajinai Koyomi, granddaughter of Elder Hajinai, the famous matchmaker."
Tsukune nodded thoughtfully as Koyomi fished her notebook out of her white tote. She flipped it open, checking the sheet before presenting the generic greeting message to Tsukune.
"That's the woman whom helped your mother find someone to give birth to you."
"That's right. If you hadn't noticed, she can't talk."
"That explains the sudden notebook message. I'm Aono Tsukune. Moka's boyfriend and a friend to Kurumu and Yukari."
'He likes my body.'
Kurumu smirked, backhanding Koyomi's shoulder.
"Of course he does."
"Of course I what?"
Kurumu giggled at his confusion, gesturing at the other pair.
"These two are Tanaka Kokono and Imai Rin."
Imai immediately held a thumbs up.
"I'm Yukari's cousin!"
"Second cousin. Ms. Imai is the daughter of my father's cousin."
Tanaka smiled pleasantly, offering a slight bow.
"We're both first years. Pleased to meet you."
"Pleased to meet you. Yukari has never mentioned you, Ms. Imai."
Imai giggled, slinging her schoolbag behind her shoulder.
"Well we've never met. Her father doesn't care much for his family in Yoshikawa."
"You all should hurry on to the bus stop before Kurumu misses her boyfriend's arrival."
Kokoa started off down the trail to the second year dorms. Tsukune took Moka's hand and started down the trail, prompting everyone to follow. They had only gone about a dozen paces before he glanced over his shoulder.
"I thought Mizore and Umizake would be part of this group date."
"She barely made it through yesterday, Tsukune. Give the poor girl a rest."
"Will this be okay? I was pretty sure that Mr. Amesuki had issues with me being around."
Kurumu smiled, appreciating his concern.
"It was my fault for proposing this group date. Mizore only agreed to it because she had not seen me in over a week. I should have realized her ability to keep that promise was unlikely after seeing how tired she was by lunchtime at Disneyland."
Moka nodded in agreement.
"She needs to rest while her mother and fiancé put together everything they bought. It was all still in boxes when we checked on them this morning."
Tsukune chuckled as they progressed down the trail.
"Mrs. Shirayuki did buy a ton of things. It was kind of scary."
"You weren't even there for half of it."
"Well my mom had some things to discuss with Yukari's grandfather. We lost track of the time."
"Everything okay?"
Tsukune nodded slowly as Kurumu's heart fluttered from Moka's question.
"Yea. I believe so."
They walked a short stretch of trail in silence. Kurumu felt uneasy, knowing what that talk with Yukari's grandfather had been about. She already knew that Tsukune would want to stay. She was not nearly as certain about what his mother would want.
"Even the way she walks is sexy."
Tanaka laughed at her friend's awe.
"You don't have to stare."
"How can I not?"
'It tastes sweet.'
Kurumu giggled, touching Koyomi's arm.
'Yea. Attention from girls has a different flavor.'
"Will the two of you spend all day together?"
Kurumu glanced back at Tanaka, shaking her head.
"No. I have my duties to Kokoa tonight so Koyomi will have to go home."
'But I want to meet your boyfriend first.'
Kurumu smirked at the willful girl.
"I'll introduce her to my boyfriend and send her on her way."
"Where is this trail going to our dorm?"
"We'll see it soon enough."
It was not much longer before they neared the start of the path that Imai had inquired about. Yukari sighed dramatically as the whole group slowed down.
"I suppose this is where I leave you, my Moka. Know that my door is open if your heartless sister wants to kick you out so she can have her way with Ms. Taniguchi."
"I'll knock on your door if Kokoa wants privacy tonight."
Yukari approached Moka, casting a glance at Tsukune.
"Well we can't hug if you keep holding his hand."
"I thought you hated hugs."
"Not with you. I'm still a good height."
Moka smirked, letting go Tsukune's hand. She grabbed Yukari by the head, pulling Yukari's face against the swell of her bosom. Yukari made a loud sigh of contentment as she held Moka's sides.
"A good height for lewd behavior."
Yukari yanked her head out of Moka's cleavage, turning her nose up.
"I heard that, Ms. Imai."
Imai winced as her friend giggled. Moka drew back to arms' length, grinning down at Yukari.
"You be kind to your juniors."
Yukari huffed, letting go of Moka. She stepped onto the narrow trail, making a gesture.
"I will. Now follow me."
The two young witches sounded an affirmative, moving to join their smaller senior.
"It was nice meeting you, Mr. Aono."
Tsukune chuckled, offering his hand. Moka smiled, taking it before the couple resumed the walk. Kurumu took in a deep breath, following with Koyomi at her side.
'Your Moka is worried about your relationship with Nijiro.'
Kurumu glanced at Koyomi.
'Is it because of Tsukune?'
'No. Yukari told her about the situation with his parents.'
Kurumu sighed. Obviously she had not wanted to bring that up while they were at Disneyland and she had not seen Moka at all yesterday. Tsukune already understood the situation so now was a good time.
"Moka. I kind of messed up things with Nijiro's family."
Moka laughed abruptly, glancing over her shoulder.
"I heard as much from Yukari. Does Tsukune know?"
"I know that she called his mother out for having an affair."
"Yea… You know there was no way that was going to go over well, right?"
"It was a lost cause, Moka. The woman hated me. Nothing I said was going to change that."
"That's what Yukari said. Still that sort of thing might make Mr. Amesuki break up with you."
Kurumu sighed heavily, knowing her impulsive lashing out had made things worse.
"I won't be surprised if he does. I've given him numerous reasons to give up on me."
"Does Ms. Hajinai already know all of this?"
"Koyomi has been stealing glances at my memories. She's a nosy woman."
'I only want to know you better.'
Kurumu clucked her tongue at the girl.
"Her being mute isn't much of a handicap. She can send her thoughts instead of writing messages in her notepad, but she knows power usage is technically against the rules."
Moka grinned back at them.
"I don't mind if she wants to speak to us in thoughts."
'Kurumu loves both of you very much.'
Moka blushed, sharing a look with a grinning Tsukune.
"That's sweet of her to say."
"Yes. Kurumu might possibly be my best friend."
'I meant sex!'
Kurumu swatted the girl, feeling her heart flutter in embarrassment. Both Moka and Tsukune chuckled nervously. Tsukune rubbed the back of his neck as Moka suddenly found the trees fascinating.
"The powers of succubi continue to amaze me!"
"I know! I can see why Mother was so invested in them!"
'Why are they acting like that? They understood me perfectly.'
Kurumu sighed with a shake of her head.
"I should probably mention that I also figured out that trick back in Hong Kong. I had no real reason to use it until I was in Aranami since nobody could hear me while I was in that diving suit."
Tsukune chuckled in relief, tossing a glance back at them.
"So why did you come to Yokai Academy?"
'To be with Kurumu. She was so interesting when we met.'
"Well I hope you enjoy your time here. I bet Kurumu is eager to be like a big sister to you."
Kurumu smirked at him.
"Technically Koyomi is older than me. She'll turn seventeen on the eighth of July."
Moka glanced back with a frown.
"I thought you said that she was a first year."
"She is. She doesn't have any high school experience so they enrolled her as a first year."
"I guess that makes sense."
It did not take long for them to arrive at the bus stop clearing. Catching Kurumu's interest was a familiar couple hanging out by the scarecrow sign. The guy with his cornflower blue locks styled in a faux hawk was Shiname Nureto. He had on a short sleeved, gray shirt and tan slacks. His arms were draped over the shoulders of a buxom girl sporting a yellow sundress. That was Okimune Hitsumi. She had gorgeous curly hair almost the same hue as Kurumu's. Many choir girls often joked about them being sisters.
"Okimune! Shiname!"
The couple looked up as Kurumu waved. Okimune detached from her boyfriend, placing her hands at her navel as she bowed her head slightly.
"Ms. Kurono. I see that you are with Mr. Aono and Ms. Akashiya already."
Shiname chuckled, crossing his arms as they crossed the remaining distance.
"I heard about your visit to my humble village. Did it live up to your expectations?"
Kurumu giggled, coming to a stop a few paces away from the couple.
"It was better than Aranami."
"Aranami is a place for people wanting a very simple life. Things are a bit more civilized in Ikinakawa."
Kurumu smirked, recalling how Nagisa had offered her a piss pot.
"I noticed. Why are the two of you here?"
The couple shared a glance. Okimune smiled demurely while his grin was more cavalier. His mint eyes sparkled as he gestured at the empty road.
"I'm here to welcome my roommate back."
"I'm only here to help him pass the time."
"And offer me a place to stay if he needs the room for personal reasons."
Okimune rolled her lovely, buttermilk eyes.
"You are not doing that. She has her own place if they wish to engage in such behaviors."
Koyomi nudged Kurumu with a wry grin.
'You are wearing a thong.'
"I have other commitments for the evening. Nijiro will be spending the night with you."
"Whom is this lovely girl with you?"
Kurumu grinned at Okimune, turning to present Koyomi.
"This is Hajinai Koyomi. She's a first year in class one."
Koyomi retrieved her notebook, flipping it open to give her generic greeting.
"Odd that she is so shy when her attire is so attractive."
Kurumu giggled as Koyomi returned her notebook to her bag.
"She's mute. And she's from the Shimane prefecture so she arrived yesterday on the same bus as Ginei and Udetama. They kindly helped her check in at Baratoge."
Okimune stepped forward to place her hands on Koyomi's shoulders.
"You poor thing. That must have been traumatizing."
Okimune gasped, retreating a step as she brought her hands to her bosom.
"Did she just talk?"
Tsukune chuckled, shaking his head.
"She's a succubus. Turns out that they can send their thoughts directly to you."
"Oh? And here I was thinking how lovely her voice was."
Kurumu giggled, placing her hand on Koyomi's shoulder.
"Yea. She has a beautiful mind."
"A beautiful everything by the looks of it. I hope Ginei hasn't convinced you to join his newspaper club."
Tsukune chuckled, still holding Moka's hand.
"It's my club too, Ms. Okimune."
"Pity that you can't join the choir. Judges might refuse to let you participate with your disability."
Kurumu smiled with a passing thought.
"How did things go with your parents?"
Shiname chuckled, stepping in to drape his arm across Okimune's shoulders.
"Her old man is stubborn but my parents adore her."
"As far as I'm concerned, your parents' blessing is enough. My father is only thinking about how this marriage does nothing for his position in Umishiro."
Kurumu smiled softly at the revelation.
"Will not getting his permission be okay?"
"It will be when she turns eighteen. If he hasn't agreed to it by then, she can move in with my parents until they can get us a house in Ikinakawa. There are plenty of vacant ones."
"No college?"
Okimune grinned, leaning against him.
"I won't need it if we get married. Nureto does have better grades than me."
"Exactly. I'll find a college somewhat close to Ikinakawa and make the commute."
"You'll need to learn how to drive first."
"I'll need a car first."
Kurumu smiled, feeling good about the future for these two when the sound of an engine heralded the arrival of the bus. She glanced as the bus emerged from the darkness of the tunnel. The large vehicle coasted around the bend, pulling alongside the curb before coming to a halt.
The door to the bus folded in on itself. Moments later the mischievous bus driver hopped out. He strode purposefully towards the back of the vehicle as the kappa kids from Tsushimi village exited the bus. As expected, they were all dressed in school uniforms.
She recognized the Machida cousins and Yokokara from band. She also knew Tekikawa whom was taking over the Arcade club but the two guys behind him were new faces. She only recognized two of the three girls that exited the bus next. All of these students headed to the back to retrieve their luggage.
The first undines off the bus were Urafune and Wan. Though it was her first time to see their true forms, she was not surprised with Urafune being effeminate while Wan was just forgettable. Both had hair that was too long for a guy. Even the Nurasume boy whom followed on their heels should consider trimming his wavy, shoulder length locks.
The next girl off the bus was new. She had curly black hair and was curvier than other undines. Kurumu momentarily thought she was a kappa until the next girls off the bus started chatting with her. Hiyori was with that Takikawa girl whom had her turquoise locks styled in a pixie cut. The Takikawa girl gestured at Kurumu and started making her way over, prompting the other two to follow.
Kurumu's heart fluttered with concern, thinking about how she had turned in this girl's brother. She saw the trio of math club boys exit the bus behind them. Takanuma and Yamashita promptly walked off, following after the three younger boys. Akenuma had a black plastic bag along with the schoolbag that every other kid from Aranami was carrying.
"Kurono! I have something for you from my uncle."
Kurumu smiled at his announcement, noticing Manami and Tarumi were off the bus next. Manami's eyes met hers but the girl immediately looked away. She said something to Tarumi as Usabara stepped off the bus. Tarumi responded but Manami walked off with Usabara following her. Tarumi sighed, turning to address Nijiro whom was next off the bus. He nodded, gesturing at Kurumu before starting her way.
"This is Kurono Kurumu."
Kurumu flinched at the sudden introduction by the Takikawa girl. She smiled nervously as the girl with peach eyes gestured at her dark haired companion. The curvy girl even had yellow eyes like a kappa.
"And this is my friend, Umisame Kaiko."
Akenuma chuckled, brandishing the black plastic bag. Beyond him, Uta had exited the bus. She appeared to be the last one, hurrying to catch up with the other undines heading for the trail.
"Let me do this first, Kiwi. Here."
Kurumu smiled thinly, taking the black bag he had offered.
"What is this?"
"A refund."
Hiyori made a dramatic sigh.
"Since my father has already been reimbursed for the damages to his precious hotel, he decided to give back half of your rental fee."
"And since Hiyori is being a bitch, he entrusted me to deliver it to you."
"Fuck off, Tsuneo."
Akenuma snickered with a shrug.
"Whatever. I'll see you later, Kurono."
Kurumu nodded as the young man stalked off. She flashed Nijiro a smile as he joined the group with Tarumi hovering near his shadow.
"As I was saying earlier, this is the girl whom put my asshole brother in his place."
Kurumu blinked, having not expected that. She recovered quickly, waving a dismissive hand.
"I did no such thing."
"No point denying it. Uncle Kizunai had quite the chat with Father about Kazuhiko's actions. My old man had to swallow his pride and help cover the costs his golden child incurred."
Kurumu smiled thinly at the girl's pleased tone.
"So you know what he did."
Hiyori scowled, glancing aside.
"We know the damages to Dad's hotel was his fault."
"And the damaged oxygen tank. The guy running the scuba gear shop confirmed it was blatant sabotage. I have no idea why my brother had it in for you, but I'm glad you turned it around on him."
"Should you really be talking about this around strangers?"
Takikawa huffed at Nijiro's admonishing tone.
"You should have demanded justice. Ms. Kurono is your woman and my shitty brother tried to kill her."
Nijiro sighed, fussing with the strap of his schoolbag.
"I kind of had serious family matters going on."
"His parents are getting divorced."
Kurumu and Nijiro both flinched at Tarumi's soft voice. Kurumu bit her lip.
"Nijiro."
"It's not your fault, Kurumu."
"Okay this is news to me."
Hiyori snorted at Takikawa's startled response.
"Not to me. Manami already told me about how Kurono ruined her family."
Kurumu's jaw trembled, feeling wretched.
"I only spoke the truth."
"She just needs time, Kurumu. I'm sure that Manami will understand."
Hiyori huffed at Tarumi's soft reassurances.
"Go ahead and fool yourself, Tarumi. This girl is trouble. I'll see you all later."
Kurumu failed to think of anything to say as the scarlet haired first year walked off.
"Don't mind her, Ms. Kurono. Hiyori is just frustrated because her dad is cracking down on her. He really wants her to take over that hotel."
The dark haired girl beside Takikawa nodded emphatically.
"Yea. He even registered her with Fairy Tale. As soon as they find her a husband, she's done for."
Kurumu forced a smile, knowing that must be hard on Hiyori. She turned the black package over in her hands, glancing at Moka.
"Should I return this to Ms. Shuzen?"
"Father has already reimbursed her. You can keep it."
Kurumu nodded at Moka's reassurance, guessing that was okay.
"You appear to have a new girl at your side. I'm Amesuki Nijiro. Third year class two and student council vice president. More importantly, I am Kurumu's boyfriend."
Nijiro's formal introduction made Kurumu laugh. She gestured at Koyomi.
"This is Hajinai Koyomi, granddaughter of Elder Hajinai. I may not have mentioned Koyomi but I know that I've told you about Elder Hajinai."
"Yes. The woman whom introduced your mother to the undine whom gave birth to you."
"Koyomi is mute so she will have to communicate with her notepad."
"Can't she send her thoughts like you were doing?"
Kurumu grinned at Tarumi's question.
"She can but the school does have rules against using powers."
"Since when have you cared about rules?"
Kurumu pouted at Nijiro's smirk. She gestured at Tarumi.
"This is Watakoma Tarumi, second year class four. She's like best friends with Nijiro's sister, Manami."
Tarumi smiled thinly.
"Yea. She's upset with me for not being mad at you."
"It's not Kurumu's fault. Both Manami and Hiyori are taking their frustrations out on Kurumu because blaming their parents is harder."
"Yea. If this crap with my brother had made my life harder, I probably would be mad at her too."
Kurumu laughed at Takikawa's admission.
"This is Takikawa Kiwi and the red haired girl whom walked off was Akenuma Hiyori. They are both first years from Nijiro's village."
Shiname chuckled heartily, tapping his chest with his free hand.
"Since we skipped the formal introductions earlier, I'm Shiname Nureto."
"We know whom you are."
Shiname smirked at Takikawa.
"I was speaking for Ms. Hajinai's benefit. This lovely lady beside me is my fiancée, Okimune Hitsumi."
"You're engaged?!"
Okimune instantly made a dismissive gesture.
"No, we're not."
"Only because your old man is stubborn."
Okimune sighed, weakly striking his side with the back of her hand.
"While that is true, we can't go around telling people lies."
"It's almost true. My parents adore you and tried setting up an omiai for us with your old man."
"Your parents barely know me and are complete strangers to my father."
"But he knows my family name. He turned my parents down like we were kappas."
"I admit his wording was rather harsh."
"Your father must be pretty important to reject a marriage offer from Mr. Shiname. Are you an undine from Umishiro?"
Okimune favored Takikawa a polite smile.
"Yes. My father is one of the men running that town."
"Once she turns eighteen, we are getting married whether he likes it or not."
"My birthday is in March. We may as well graduate first."
The roar of the bus engine caught her attention. As the bus pulled away from the curb, Kurumu realized that most of the kappas had left the clearing. The last two were almost at the trail.
"I think that is a sign that we should get going."
Everyone sounded an agreement to Nijiro's proposal, starting their journey. Tsukune and Moka walked a little ahead of Shiname and Okimune. Kurumu trailed in the back with Koyomi and Nijiro.
"Who is the couple up in front?"
Shiname chuckled heartily at Takikawa's query.
"That is Akashiya Moka and Aono Tsukune. Like Ms. Kurono, they are second years. The three of them are quite famous since they helped save the world."
"Though Ginei took most of the credit in that article he wrote."
Tsukune laughed at Okimune's addition, turning about and backpedaling.
"I was fine with that but I should make a correction. I'm officially Sato Hiroshi. Fairy Tale gave me and my mother new identities after the issue with Fujisaki Miyabi."
Moka nodded with a wide grin when Tsukune spun back around.
"Now I'm not the only one with an alias."
"True. Moka's real last name is Shuzen but it was changed several years ago by her mother."
"I think most people at school know that Ms. Akashiya is Ms. Shuzen's sister."
Shiname snickered at his girlfriend's remark, tugging her closer to his side.
"One of the worst kept secrets."
Moka shrugged as they started down the level path with Tsukune at her side.
"Fujisaki had already found me by the time Kokoa enrolled at Yokai Academy. It was pointless to keep up the charade after that."
"But isn't this Fujisaki dead? Why did Mr. Aono need an alias?"
"Because Fujisaki killed my father and Fairy Tale decided to have both my mother and myself declared dead to avoid any trouble with human authorities. Our new identities will allow us to return to the human world when we feel like we can."
"Well I am pleased to meet you both. I hope that you will take good care of me."
"Likewise, Ms. Takikawa. Hopefully we will all have a peaceful year at Yokai Academy."
Kurumu smiled as they resumed walking in silence for almost a minute. She sighed, glancing at Nijiro.
"I'm sorry about making your parents' divorce."
"All you did was call out my mom's poor behavior. The divorce was her idea. Demand even."
Kurumu laughed softly, recalling his father's words.
"Not a surprise. She probably thought her affair was a secret from your dad."
"Yea. We will be living with Dad now. Mom didn't want us. Probably never did."
Kurumu flinched at the cold tone of his statements.
"That can't be true."
"The only person she cares about is Mr. Junsui. Manami and I were just props for her fake marriage."
"She's your mother. She has to love you."
"I know what she said, Kurumu. If you doubt me, you can just read my thoughts."
'He is telling the truth.'
Kurumu pouted at Koyomi's sudden thought.
"People say things they don't mean, Nijiro. She was upset."
"Yea. Upset that Dad actually had us DNA tested in Umiman years ago without her knowing. He shot down her tale of us being Mr. Junsui's kids with one trip to the hospital. They had the records."
Kurumu grimaced. That must have been the catalyst for the divorce. Her husband had never trusted her.
"We'll stay with Dad over summer break. He'll get us nice things. Stuff we could never have in Aranami."
Tarumi stopped where the trail to Baratoge veered off, causing the group to come to a halt.
"If you two don't mind, I'll help you check in at Baratoge."
"In no hurry to check into your own room?"
Tarumi looked away from Nijiro's query, fussing with the strap of her schoolbag.
"She won't be happy that I talked with Kurumu."
Kurumu's heart ached, remembering that Tarumi and Manami were roommates.
"She's not happy with me either. Maybe you can spend the day with your juniors. Show them around."
"I'll have to check in eventually."
Takikawa stepped up and patted Tarumi on the shoulder.
"We'll sleep over if you want."
"Yea! We can even bring Hiyori!"
Shiname chuckled heartily at Umisame's enthusiasm.
"Don't forget that we have a welcoming ceremony for you girls tomorrow. If you are making such plans, you best bring a fresh change of clothes."
The girls giggled and Takikawa took Tarumi by the hand. She tugged the older girl onto the trail.
"We will. It was nice meeting you, Ms. Okimune."
"Good luck on your wedding!"
Kurumu grinned as the three departed. She flinched when a hand patted her shoulder.
'Time for me to go. Have sex with your boyfriend.'
Kurumu smirked at Koyomi whom cocked her head with an air of innocence.
"I'm not doing that."
'You need comfort and it will feel real good.'
Kurumu tapped the ornery girl on the nose.
"I'll see you at the welcoming ceremony tomorrow."
The girl smiled sweetly before taking off with her bag of things.
"She seems like a good girl."
Kurumu was slightly startled when Nijiro draped an arm across her shoulders. Her heart fluttered when she felt a surge of desire. Standing so close, he had an excellent view of her cleavage. Nijiro loved that.
"Looks can be deceiving."
Tsukune chuckled, slowly resuming the walk down the level path.
"I know that you haven't settled in yet, but Kurumu was wanting us to go on a group date."
Nijiro smirked, continuing to fill Kurumu with lecherous thoughts.
"I had a feeling about that when I saw Mr. Shiname and Ms. Okimune in her company."
Kurumu bit her lip, indulging in her body's reaction to his proximity. His lust was backed by experience with her body. He knew what she liked and wanted to please her. These thongs had been a bad idea.
"That wasn't my doing. They came on their own."
"She is being honest about that. But Hitsumi knows her little sister well enough to be prepared."
"She would at least let Mr. Amesuki stop by his place to put away his things."
"And if I was there, we would get invited. I know."
Kurumu pouted, wondering if she was that predictable.
"Well I would want him to change out of his clothes."
"What's wrong with my clothes?"
Kurumu smirked, refusing to speak the first thing that came to mind.
"At least put on something casual."
He chuckled, squeezing her against his side. He wanted her out of this dress. He wanted to hear her ass slapping against his hips and the lovely melody of her gasps, moans and cries.
"Things will be much better now. All of those pointless sacrifices made for the illusion of a happy family. Dad should have taken us out of Aranami years ago."
As her body temperature elevated, she had a passing thought of Mizore and the baby inside her.
"Is every secret bad?"
"Secrets are lies, Kurumu. Rarely does any good ever come out of lying."
Kurumu forced her increasing arousal to calm. While he might be right in an idealistic world, she knew that telling the truth had consequences. What good would ever come out of telling him the truth about that baby inside Mizore?
The lights in the theater brightened up as the credits started to roll on the screen. Kenchou no Hoshi had been a charming movie with a satisfying romance and comedic moments sprinkled throughout. This was definitely one that she would like to watch again though not in a theater. She wondered when this would come out on DVD.
Nijiro stood up beside her. He had changed into a white polo but had kept the school slacks. It was not much of an improvement but she had seen his wardrobe. Living underwater for most of his childhood had prevented him from acquiring much of a selection. Every garment he owned had been purchased during his time at Yokai Academy.
He looked down at her, offering his hand. He loved her tits. He wanted to grab them as he took her from behind. He had been stealing glances at them throughout the movie, making it difficult to enjoy some of the scenes. She was ridiculously moist right now. She would not be surprised if her seat had a wet spot.
Taking his hand, she lifted up on her feet. He let go of her hand, draping his arm across her shoulders as he turned her about. She fixed the strap of her lavender purse as he steered her to the end of the row. The others had already reached the aisle at the end, making their way back to the doors leading out of the theater. Not many other guests had watched the film.
They had arrived in town a little too early for lunch. Passing the time, they had stopped in Hot Trots to pick up a pair of white sandals for Kurumu. They had cute glass baubles in the shape of flower buds on the top where the straps came together. Moments after leaving the store, she had swapped out of her wedges, putting the black shoes into the bag Nijiro was carrying in his other hand.
As Shiname had declared this a special occasion, they had enjoyed lunch at Lucky's family diner. Kurumu had a small meal, having enjoyed Yukari's breakfast unlike most of the group. As Kokoa had made plans to eat breakfast with Nagisa in the dining hall, even Moka had been famished. They had come straight here after the meal and only had to wait a few minutes before the doors to theater three had opened. She was mildly curious how long the movie had lasted as they exited the auditorium.
They stepped into the alcove made between the office and the restrooms. The nearby double door was for theater one while the double doors across the hall gave access to even number theaters. Drifting out of the alcove, she glanced to the right. All the way at the end were the concession stands. She shuffled to the left as Nijiro turned her around to face the row of glass doors, marking the building's exit.
"Did you like the movie?"
He chuckled, rubbing his hand on her shoulder as they passed by the office on the left. A bored, dark haired man in a black dress shirt lounged upon the marble counter with a glass window separating him from the hall. His dark eyes followed Kurumu's movements with mild interest in her curves.
"I liked my company."
Shiname detached from Okimune to open the door. He made a flourishing gesture, which failed to amuse his date. Okimune strolled out into the bright street a few steps ahead of Moka and Tsukune whom were holding hands.
Kurumu still had most of the seventy five thousand yen refund. She had bought the sandals which had cost just under three thousand yen but Nijiro had paid for her meal and movie ticket. She was curious how she should spend this yen as they stepped out into the warm afternoon.
"What shall we do next?"
Moka had already fished her silver phone out of her black tote. She grinned at Shiname's question, putting her phone away.
"It's about ten minutes shy of three. We still have about an hour before we need to head back."
Kurumu shivered from delicious thoughts from her boyfriend.
"We could always squeeze an hour of karaoke in."
Moka laughed at Nijiro's suggestion.
"I guess that works but we have an odd number for that."
"I would like to hear you sing."
Moka blushed at Tsukune's request.
"I'm okay with it if these two are."
"I'd never turn down a chance to hear my choir angel perform."
"I suppose I can spoil Nureto for an hour."
"Then it's decided then."
Nijiro steered her to the right, starting down the street. The pair of two story buildings across the street from the theater had many of their windows boarded up. The door to the one on the corner was not boarded up but Kurumu had never seen anyone go inside it. It might very well be vacant like the one beside it. These next buildings lining this street certainly were.
"It's too bad that Ms. Shirayuki and Mr. Umizake couldn't join us."
Okimune nodded at her boyfriend's musing.
"Yes. I would have liked to see how far along she is into her pregnancy."
"We were told that Mizore was seen by a doctor over the break. They are predicting little Hatsue will be here before the end of the month."
Nijiro laughed at Tsukune's forecast.
"It seems like her due date keeps moving forward. At first it was before summer break and then it was before midterm exams."
"Her baby is developing faster than anyone expected."
Reaching the end of the street, most of what was ahead of them was dirt and barren land. This was where the fire had ravaged the town, claiming several blocks of homes. The exodus of residents that followed was why so many buildings in the town had become vacant.
The Siren's Lullaby was the only building left on that side of the road. The three story building was the only survivor of an apartment complex owned by Mr. Ishizuka. After his wife had left with his kids, Mr. Ishizuka had remodeled this building into a karaoke joint which even had a kitchen. A canopy reached out to the nearby pavement, shielding the entrance from the sunlight.
"She got so much bigger over the break. Her belly button even popped out."
Shiname snickered at Tsukune's comment as the group drifted under the canopy. The sensor for the automatic door picked up on their presence, drawing the glass aside. Okimune smiled politely.
"I heard that happens with some girls when they near the end of their pregnancy."
"Like those pop up timers girls use when they cook food in an oven to let you know it's done."
Okimune clucked her tongue as they entered the establishment.
"It's rude to compare a girl to an oven, Mr. Aono."
Kurumu shivered as she stepped inside, feeling Nijiro's desire to put something into her oven. The floor of the lobby was covered in red carpet and a couch was pushed up against the wall to her right. Her eyes swept by the opening to the hall which gave access to the rest of the building, finding the dark haired manager behind the mahogany counter topped with white marble. Mr. Ishizuka nodded at her arrival.
"Afternoon, Ms. Kurono. I see you have more friends with you today."
"Would it be possible for the six of us to share one room?"
Mr. Ishizuka laughed, shaking his head as they all drifted over to the counter.
"I have a strict rule to limit four customers to a room."
"Just this one time."
"We can do two rooms."
Kurumu frowned at Nijiro's quick concession.
"But there are six of us."
Nijiro shrugged nonchalantly but his thoughts were too tasty to deceive her.
"I wouldn't object to us renting three."
Shiname snickered, massaging Okimune's shoulders.
"That sounds good to me. A private concert with my beloved."
"We are not doing that."
"Why not?"
"Because you'll make me sing the whole hour. That's not good for my voice."
"Would the two of you mind sharing a room with Mr. Aono and Ms. Akashiya?"
Shiname sighed when his buxom girlfriend relaxed back against him.
"I guess if Hitsumi doesn't want me all to herself."
"I can't trust you after what you tried last night."
"I got carried away. We're just singing."
Tsukune laughed, gesturing at the manager.
"And he has cameras in the rooms."
"That is correct. Please don't do anything that would require extra cleanup."
"Do either of you mind sharing a room?"
Moka smiled, favoring Kurumu a knowing look.
"I don't mind you having a room alone with her."
Nijiro laughed sheepishly.
"That was not what I asked."
"We can share a room with Ms. Okimune. It will make her feel at ease."
"Thank you, Ms. Akashiya. You're paying for this, Nureto."
"Two rooms will be two thousand yen."
"Second floor if we could."
"Of course, Ms. Kurono."
The manager leaned over to fetch the keys. Nijiro pulled his wallet out of his slacks while Shiname did the same. Money was placed on the counter before a key was given to each of the guys.
Okimune had shared the story of last night's adventure on the walk to town. She had brought some new cookware with her and had invited him over for dinner in her single suite. After the meal and a lot of kissing, she had almost ended up on the menu. Shiname had no real excuse beyond Okimune being too irresistible. He reasoned that if he put a kid in her, there was no way her old man would marry her off to someone else. Needless to say, he was not allowed to come over on his own from now on.
"Come on, Kurumu."
Kurumu smiled, taking Nijiro's hand as the others walked through the gap into the hallway beyond. She allowed Nijiro to steer her down the corridor, passing by rooms which had not yet been remodeled. They reached the central staircase and headed up, ignoring the vending machines in the alcove behind them.
"Are you going to behave yourself?"
Nijiro chuckled at Shiname's playful query.
"I'm sure that we will get some singing in."
They arrived on the second floor with the others drifting over to the door for 210. Shiname snickered as he pushed the key into the lock, twisting the knob.
"Don't do anything that I wouldn't do."
Nijiro smirked, feeding his key into the lock for room 209.
"I'll keep that in mind."
"All I ask is that you don't share any stories with him. I don't need Nureto trying to reenact your exploits."
Kurumu managed a smile, entering the karaoke room she had used several times before. In the center of the small room was a low, black table upon which rested the microphone and the remote for the karaoke machine. The screen which would display the lyrics was in the nearby corner on the right, embedded in the soundproofing covering the walls and ceiling. A phone which was connected to the office downstairs was mounted on the wall by the door.
The room was furnished with a couch and two armchairs. All three were fitted with stiff brown cushions which were probably easy to clean. The windows which were visible from the exterior had been covered up with soundproofing so the only light was from the domed fixture mounted to the ceiling.
Kurumu turned about when she heard Nijiro close the door. She smiled nervously.
"You want to sing first?"
He looked her over with hunger in his periwinkle eyes. He gestured at the couch.
"Have a seat."
Kurumu swallowed as her heart beat frantically. She moved to the couch, sitting down as he approached. She slipped the strap of her purse off her shoulder, setting it down on the floor. He dropped the bag with her shoes on the low table before settling down on the couch beside her. His desire to ravage her body remained but he made no immediate advances.
"Was there something you couldn't talk about in front of the others?"
Nijiro let out a heavy sigh.
"You were right. Mom wouldn't have tried convincing us we weren't Dad's kids if she didn't want us."
Kurumu retrained her urge to touch him, sensing things would escalate before he said all he wanted to say. She folded her hands in her lap, breathing in deep.
"She was your home, Nijiro. There was a time you lived inside her."
Her words cut through the haze of his simmering passion for her. He nodded slowly.
"Yea. She must have loved us when we were little. When we needed her more. If Dad had done things differently, maybe she would have stayed faithful to him."
"Was she faithful to him?"
Nijiro laughed softly, staring across the room as his desire for her evaporated.
"It felt like her story changed every other minute. She went from we were Mr. Junsui's kids to how she was faithful before we went to school."
Her boyfriend exhaled as he leaned back against the couch.
"Which actually made more sense. Unless she was sneaking Mr. Junsui into the house when the two of us were asleep, there was no time for her to be cheating on Dad. We were always at home with her."
Kurumu grimaced, knowing that was false. Her mother had men over while she was little. It was not always obvious but it definitely happened more than once.
"Do you think it was your dad's fault?"
Nijiro laughed mirthlessly.
"Mom certainly tried to sell us on that. Claimed that she had always wanted to move to Umiman but it was Dad whom refused to let her move. That we had to stay in Aranami for his parents, though we all know how seldom she had us visit them after I left for junior high."
He paused with another heavy sigh.
"And Dad, being the total idiot he is, admitted that he didn't want to move her away from her lover. She was so mad at him, saying he wanted her to cheat so he had no reason to complain. And he was like I'm not complaining, I just wanted you happy. Such a fool."
Kurumu swallowed thickly, trying to rationalize his father's actions.
"Maybe he was too afraid to ask for more."
"He's a man, Kurumu. He was supposed to be in control of the relationship. When she asked for the divorce, he should have put her in her place. Not be all meek and hope that makes her happy."
Kurumu frowned at the fierceness in his tone.
"Women have-"
"You can't let women dictate the terms of a relationship. Just look at all the crap you've done. I'm the one with the plan. The one with a clear vision of my future. You don't let a passenger drive."
Kurumu bit her lip. He was wrong but right at the same time.
"I'm fine with you being in charge, Nijiro. I really am."
"Dad should have never given her so much freedom. He did the bare minimum as a husband and as a father and then acts like his life has been something noble. Forget Umiman. If he had moved us into a home in a suburb of Niigata, all of our lives would have been better."
Kurumu laughed under her breath, thinking that was true.
"Would we have even met if he had done that?"
She shuddered when he looked her over with renewed interest.
"I'm not making the same mistake. You're never going to ride another man's dick while you're my wife."
Kurumu managed a smile, reaching over to place her hand on his thigh.
"Then please don't make me wait years for you, Nijiro."
The firm look in his periwinkle eyes made her shiver. His thoughts were so yummy.
"You are not going to Hokkaido."
Kurumu pouted, having had this discussion before.
"But you can-"
"I'm not going to Hokkaido University. You will come with me to whatever Tokyo school I am accepted into. And you will take care of my needs."
That was not a horrible proposal.
"What if Kokoa-"
"Is that binding?"
"What?"
"You made that promise to Ms. Shuzen for Mr. Aono's sake. It stands to reason that he should be able to negotiate terms for your release. What is the penalty for breaking that contract?"
Kurumu honestly had not put much thought into that.
"I would have to ask Kokoa."
He nodded, scooting closer to her.
"While you are at it, ask if she will allow you to marry. I'm assuming if she is fine with that, your duties to her should be concluded once we are married. If she is fine with us marrying this year, then we can look into filling out the paperwork after I get my citizenship."
Kurumu blinked in astonishment.
"This year!?"
"You don't want to wait years."
Kurumu laughed in disbelief.
"I was thinking to at least graduate high school."
"What for?"
"Weren't you concerned that I would cause your grades to suffer?"
He reached over her, grabbing her by her left shoulder.
"I'm a man, Kurumu."
He tugged her firmly, clearly wanting her on top of him. Taking the hint, she rolled up over his thigh, spreading her knees to straddle his legs. She smiled, resting her hands on his shoulders as his hands tugged on the fabric of her dress.
"Nijiro. We're not doing this."
She shifted her knees, making his task easier. He fluffed her sundress once the fabric was no longer pinched between her knees and the cushions.
"His camera won't see anything."
Kurumu breathed in deep, lowering her head. He was unable to turn his face before her lips touched his. She opened her mouth, pushing her tongue into his. She moved her head, giving him an extra juicy kiss laced with the opiate in her saliva. She breathed through her nostrils, refusing to let up until his body relaxed under her influence.
This was so heavenly. Kissing truly was the best. They almost never kissed this deeply because it would put him into a stupor. But that was what she wanted.
After minutes passed, she broke the kiss. His periwinkle eyes had glazed over as she pulled back. She felt light headed as she caressed his shoulders.
"I'm sorry. But I haven't had sex in weeks, Nijiro. I'd make a huge mess of us."
His lip turned up in a slight smile.
"Right. You squirt."
"Mhm. I wish we could do more. But Kokoa needs me tonight. You understand."
His eyes slowly focused on her. The delectable passion that had been pouring out of her boyfriend was now muffled by her charm. It was still scrumptious but not nearly as rich and intense.
"Tomorrow night?"
Kurumu groaned, scooting closer to him. She pressed her scantily clad crotch against his, feeling his hard member restrained by the fabric of his slacks.
"Can't. I already have a sleepover with Mizore and Tora."
The groan he made was like he was half asleep.
"Sunday is right before school. As student council vice president, I should set a good example."
Kurumu whimpered, cupping his cheeks. As much as she wanted to spend a night sleeping in his arms after exhausting each other from sex, she had no desire to wait for next Saturday night.
"We don't necessarily need to spend the night together."
"I want you now."
Kurumu bit her lip, really wanting that too. It felt unfair to leave him like this. It was her fault for making so many plans. No reason for him to suffer.
"It might not be as good, but I have an idea."
She scooted back off the couch as his hands slid up her sides to rest on her shoulders. Her bare knees pressed against the floor as she loosened his slacks.
"I promise to take real good care of you."
It was not like this was her first time giving fellatio.
Kurumu smiled softly, holding her first letter of the year in her hands. Kabuki's message had been short but it made Kurumu happy. She was sitting on the table in the laundry room in their commissary. She was dressed in her black tank top and gray cotton shorts as she waited for the laundry to finish drying.
Moka sat beside her and was also dressed for bed. Her white tank top had a huge pink heart which was stretched out by her ample bosom. Her pink sleep pants were patterned with white hearts. As Moka had done her laundry last night, she was hanging out with Kurumu to give Kokoa alone time with Nagisa.
Kurumu sighed, setting the letter on her purse resting beside her. She was using four of the six dryers lined up against the exterior wall. Her baby blue hamper stood beside the dryer closest to them while Kokoa's green hamper was over by the last active dryer. Six washers lined the wall across from the dryers. By the door leading out to the commissary retail space was a vending machine full of laundry products.
Her body still ached from unfulfilled arousal instigated by Koyomi's antics last night and this afternoon's close call with Nijiro. She was seriously debating if she should just masturbate in the bathtub tonight. It felt like that was her only option as her time with Nijiro this weekend was already over. He had no desire to show up for the renewal of Tora's flying sessions on Sunday and with him being the student council vice president, he expected he would be asked to help out with the new students tomorrow.
"I still think you should have told me about Tsukune's situation with the town elders."
Kurumu grimaced as Moka brought this up for the third time tonight. Apparently Tsukune had told her about the purpose of Headmaster Sendou's visit when she had walked him to his dorm. She had made such a fuss about it while Kurumu had served dinner.
"How many times must I apologize for that?"
"I'm his woman. I should have been told immediately."
Kurumu grumbled, spreading her legs to grab the edge of the table between them. She leaned back, stretching her arms which felt nice.
"I'm surprised that Yukari didn't blurt it out yesterday. She was with you for more than half the day."
"That was probably why she left early."
Kurumu shifted forward, swaying her legs gently.
"It sounds like his mother will stand by his decision to stay so there isn't a problem."
"Assuming Yukari's grandfather isn't forced to kick them out."
"What can those old farts do? Bitch and complain louder?"
"This could be serious. There might be limits to what Headmaster Sendou can do for us."
Kurumu huffed, continuing to sway her legs.
"So write your father about this. Even if you are exiled, he won't put up with this crap."
Moka shivered with flush cheeks.
"I can't do that. What would I even say?"
"That the town elders want you and Tsukune to be kicked out of the school."
Moka bit her lip, not looking at her.
"Kurumu. I haven't told Father about our fight."
"The one where Tsukune beat you for the right to be your boyfriend?"
"There technically isn't a ceremony for that. I should be his now."
Kurumu digested that information, failing to see what the issue was.
"But Akua knows."
Moka nodded vehemently.
"Yes but she knows it isn't official. She knows to keep quiet about this."
Kurumu still was not connecting the dots here.
"Are you thinking he won't help Tsukune unless you tell him about the fight?"
"What reason would he have to help Tsukune?"
"He knows you love Tsukune."
"That doesn't help. If Tsukune can't handle this on his own, then he's not worthy of me."
"Then how would telling him about the fight make a difference."
Moka shot her a frustrated look.
"It doesn't, Kurumu! You don't get it! I'm a vampire bested in a fight for my hand! If that had been an official fight, then I would be Tsukune's responsibility! What do I even ask for here? Part of me feels like I shouldn't even ask Father to help me."
Kurumu blinked, failing to see a problem with this.
"You're his daughter. Wouldn't this make Tsukune his son?"
Moka let out an exasperated sigh.
"It doesn't work like that. We are not talking to my dad about this. That's not an option."
Kurumu shook her head, thinking vampire culture was too silly to comprehend.
"Well there was never any guarantee that Agano would be a safer place for Tsukune. I'm glad that his mother didn't try to convince him otherwise."
The buzz of the dryers demanded her attention. Kurumu pushed off the table, landing on her loafers. She pranced over to the nearest dryer, opening the door. Pulling out her dark colored garments, she folded each one up before dropping it into her baby blue hamper.
"And here I was hoping that you would have sex."
Kurumu laughed abruptly when Moka leaned against the nearby dryer.
"What? Why?"
"You were in a room alone with your boyfriend."
"I would have never gotten away with it."
Moka took in a deep breath, regarding Kurumu with mild interest.
"You have had such an inviting scent all day. Did you have a naughty dream last night?"
Kurumu snickered, having almost exhausted the contents of the first dryer.
"Yes but since I was in the same room as Yukari and her two new friends, I had to behave. I also had to daze Nijiro with a kiss to avoid making a stain on Mr. Ishizuka's couch."
Dropping the last garment in her hamper, she motioned for Moka to move aside. The vampire shifted over to the next dryer, allowing Kurumu access to the door. Opening it up, Kurumu pulled out her light colored laundry.
"You must have done more than a kiss. The smell was too strong for just that."
Kurumu snorted, folding her school blouse once before adding it to her hamper.
"I sucked his dick."
Moka blushed, glancing aside. Kurumu smirked as she continued pulling things out of the dryer.
"That scent was probably the thick load he washed my tonsils with. I don't know if that's because Nijiro doesn't masturbate much or if undines always shoot buckets but you definitely need to brace yourself or it will go up your nose."
"That is way more information than I needed."
Kurumu snickered as she retrieved her lingerie from this dryer.
"You don't have to worry about that though. You might gag if you try to take all of Tsukune into your mouth but you won't drown when he climaxes."
The flustered vampire favored her an intrigued look.
"You did this to Tsukune?"
Kurumu frowned, dropping the last of her panties into the hamper.
"Pretty sure that wasn't a secret. There wasn't much that I didn't do with him."
Moka nodded slowly, moving over to Kokoa's hamper. Stepping around her own hamper, Kurumu motioned for Moka to bring that hamper over as she opened the next dryer door.
"Guys like that?"
Kurumu giggled as she pulled out Kokoa's dark clothes. The vampire had actually had days' worth of dirty laundry in her suitcase so both of these dryers were as full as the ones with Kurumu's things.
"Of course. A mouth is a wet hole. Just don't bite."
Moka stood there with a contemplative look as Kurumu steadily transferred the contents of the dryer into the hamper. She was nearly finished when Moka broke the silence.
"Should I suck his dick?"
Kurumu laughed, blushing at the image of Moka doing such a thing.
"Are you being serious?"
"Is there a trick to it? Do I do something special with my tongue?"
Kurumu felt as flush as the vampire looked as she finished with this dryer. She scooted the hamper forward which made Moka retreat. Shaking her head, she opened up the last dryer.
"You are going to lose your virginity soon thinking like that."
Moka blushed even more as she cupped her own cheeks.
"But it isn't the same as having sex."
Kurumu snorted as she moved Kokoa's light colored clothes into the green hamper.
"It's sex, Moka. It's not holding hands. It's not kissing. It's making a guy orgasm. That's sex."
"But I wouldn't orgasm."
"Tsukune will feel terrible if you don't let him return the favor."
Moka bit her lip, tracking Kurumu's movements as she folded the last of Kokoa's laundry.
"Well he could always kiss me down there."
Kurumu stopped her task, regarding Moka with a smug expression. This vampire had already tried having Tsukune do this once. Technically it had been Hatsue in control thanks to a drug Yukari had concocted, but this Moka knew what Hatsue had in mind.
"Moka. Forget about years and months. You're not going to last days thinking like this."
Moka fidgeted as Kurumu went back to her chore.
"So I shouldn't offer it?"
"You two won't be able to hold back for long once you cross that bridge. You at least need to tell your father about that fight before you get yourself knocked up."
"Says the girl whom put a baby in Mizore."
Kurumu huffed, tossing the last of Kokoa's panties into the hamper before closing the dryer.
"That only means that I know what I'm talking about. Keep it clean for now, Moka. You both still have two years of high school ahead of you."
Kurumu stalked off, hefting up her hamper. She glanced over her shoulder, confirming Moka had picked up Kokoa's hamper. Shuffling over to the table, she added her purse and letter to her hamper before heading to the door. She had to set her hamper down by the vending machine to open the door. She waited for Moka to exit before dragging her hamper with her out of the room.
Picking up her hamper, she navigated the aisles laden with dry goods. Mrs. Kurokira, a dark haired lady with dark eyes and a beak like nose, stood behind the commissary's main counter. The tall woman had on a green blouse and black slacks today. Her thin lips pulled back in a grin as they neared.
"Have a good evening, ladies."
The wraparound counter the woman stood behind touched the wall beside the main entrance. At the corner was a register while the other end of the counter folded up to allow passage into that space. The wall to the left had little doors for the mail slots of each of the suites in this clearing.
"You too, Mrs. Kurokira."
Kurumu paused to fish her lunch card out of her purse. She waved it, catching the attention of the sensor above the door. The glass door parted and they stepped out into the warm night. The clearing was not very dark with the moon half full in a clear sky decorated with a multitude of stars.
"It feels weird to stick to holding hands and kissing."
Kurumu laughed as they made their way to the door of Moka's suite.
"Moka. I don't care if the two of you start fucking. I just thought there was some vampire rule that says you have to be married first."
"Not really. The wedding is more of a formality. It's the challenge that matters."
Kurumu nodded as they came to a stop at the door.
"But that wasn't an official challenge."
"It's not like the results will be any different a year from now. I belong to Tsukune. I want to belong to him. It feels disrespectful to deny him anything."
Kurumu realized that she was the one with the keys. Turning her purse over, she fetched the set of keys that Kokoa had given her. She pranced around Moka, pushing the key into the lock.
"How long will it be before your official challenge?"
Moka shrugged as Kurumu tugged open the door. She hefted up Kokoa's hamper, carrying it across the threshold. Kurumu darted back to her own hamper, moving it inside.
"I don't know. We probably shouldn't do it this year. Maybe next summer break?"
Kurumu smirked, closing the door. Leaving her hamper by the door, she stepped around Moka.
"That's sixteen months from now, Moka. You can't be sucking dick any time soon."
Kurumu shuffled out of her loafers. She glanced about the suite, seeing no signs of Kokoa or Nagisa. Setting the keys on the half wall, Kurumu hefting up Kokoa's hamper and drifted into the room.
The layout of the vampire sisters' suite was the same as it had been when they had lived in 413. There was one bed with ebony framing pushed up in the corner. A crimson comforter was draped over the mattress while black pillows patterned with pink hearts lined the headboard. A huge golden bear with a black fedora kept watch over his domain.
Kurumu halted in the middle of the room behind the pink couch where the low table had been for their meal. Kurumu had already put that table back under the bed. This pink couch could be swung back for a second sleeping surface. It faced a silver framed television which stood upon an ebony stand. A crate with Kokoa's DVD collection rested to one side of the screen while a stack of CDs were on the other.
"Kokoa? Are you in the bathroom?"
A slight groan answered her as she took in the rest of the room. To one side of the ebony stand was Moka's karaoke machine while the other side had Moka's desk. Portraits of their family and a laptop rested on the writing surface. Moka's red bike which the vampire had not used in ages was leaned up against the wall between the doors to the two closets.
"Was that a yes?"
Kurumu shuffled over, leaving the hamper by the door to Kokoa's closet. She pranced over to the open bathroom door, poking her head inside.
To her amusement, Kokoa was naked in the tub and holding Nagisa whom was in her true form. Nagisa's big white eyes and whitish brown locks flanking her central fin felt so unique for an undine. There was nothing sexual about her being naked in Kokoa's embrace. The vampire's hands were firmly cupped over the swell of Nagisa's bosom, effectively hiding them.
"Looks like someone had her blood taken."
"She's cruel. Nipped me in that way that makes my whole body quiver."
"You like it like that."
Nagisa whimpered, weakly patting at Kokoa's arms with webbed hands tipped with black talons.
"I don't want to feel good from you. I want a man to do that."
Kurumu snickered, understanding the complaint.
"Do you even have a man in mind?"
"I will one day."
"Until then you are mine."
Nagisa groaned as Kokoa squeezed her friend tightly.
"Why can't you be happy with just my blood?"
"Because I love you."
Kurumu smiled thinly, wondering how comfortable that was for Nagisa since she did have the fin running down her spine. Kokoa must be pressed up against it.
"Don't revel in your water immunity too long, Milady. I'm going to hang up your clothes."
Kokoa made an affirmative sound as Kurumu backed out of the open doorway. She flashed Moka a smile, noting the vampire was still in the entryway. Tugging the door to Kokoa's closet open, she dragged the hamper into the room and flipped the light on.
"What are you waiting over there for?"
"I'm going to help you put away your clothes. And take your blood."
Kurumu laughed as she started moving Kokoa's lingerie from the hamper, making a pile on the shelf.
"I was thinking about recently. It has been over a month."
"Yes. Before Yukari's birthday."
Kurumu snorted as she proceeded to transfer pajamas from the hamper to the low shelf which ringed the closet below the rod.
"The day you kicked me out."
"That was good for both of us. I need to work on my wife skills and you need your independence."
Kurumu huffed, caring little for independence. She realized some of these pajamas like the nightgowns would be better to hang up. Grabbing hangers, she corrected that.
"What for? The only reason why I would ask to be dismissed from my services to Kokoa is to marry Nijiro. Neither position requires my independence."
"Well it was good for me."
Kurumu chuckled, starting on Kokoa's light garments.
"Are you planning to make me weak in the knees like Kokoa did to Nagisa?"
There was a pause in which Kurumu was able to hang up and put aside all of Kokoa's light garments. She was halfway through the dark clothes when Moka responded.
"Do you want me to?"
Kurumu hesitated at the question. She could not deny having the thought of servicing herself in the bathtub only a few minutes ago. It would feel nice to experience that with someone she loved. Shaking her head, she resumed her task.
"Are you allowed to do that?"
"Of course. You are my blood claim."
"Don't you have to ask Tsukune?"
Kurumu heard no answer as she put away the last of Kokoa's clothes. She set the empty hamper aside, turning off the light before exiting the closet. She smirked upon seeing Moka's contemplative expression, shutting the closet door.
"Does it require that much thought?"
Moka pouted as Kurumu sauntered over to join her in the entryway.
"It wasn't an official fight."
"Kokoa! I'm going up to my room to put away my laundry!"
"I can hear you fine, Kurumu. Just like I heard that whole conversation."
Kurumu smirked as Moka blushed slightly.
"Sorry, Milady. I promise to come back when I'm finished."
"You better carry her back, Moka. She is serving our breakfast tomorrow."
"It wasn't an official fight, Kokoa. I can still do with her as I please."
"You don't have to convince me, Moka. Just bring her back when you're done with her."
Moka pouted as Kurumu wiggled her feet into her loafers.
"She makes it sound like I'm using you."
"I don't mind. I was going to masturbate tonight anyways."
Grabbing her hamper, Kurumu twisted the knob and pushed out the door. She hefted the hamper up, noting the indecisive expression on Moka's face.
"What is it?"
"I still haven't done that."
Kurumu frowned, cocking her head.
"Masturbate?"
"You must think I'm weird."
The revelation confused Kurumu. She backed out of the apartment with her hamper in her arms. This prompted Moka to follow, closing the door behind her. With Kokoa's keys in hand, Moka locked up the door before turning about. She pouted at Kurumu.
"Well say something."
"I'm just… shocked. You've been free of Hatsue for months now."
"It never feels right. Either I'm not in the mood or Kokoa is home and I can't do that around her."
"Kokoa masturbates in the bathroom, Moka."
"She does?"
Kurumu laughed, shaking her head as she started for the base of the stairs leading up to her apartment.
"I don't know how often she does it, but she has done it in that new body of hers. It's not exactly a time consuming process. All you need is like five minutes of privacy."
"I don't know what I'm supposed to do."
Kurumu sighed heavily as she started up the stairs with Moka on her heels.
"Are you going to be the second sixteen year old I teach how to masturbate this week?"
"There was another one?"
Kurumu snickered as she reached the top landing. She set her hamper aside, fishing through her purse to find her own set of keys.
"Yes. Koyomi was pretty clueless about how it all worked."
Moka gasped as Kurumu pulled out her keys.
"Kurumu! That girl trusts you!"
Kurumu frowned as she put her key into the lock. She turned the deadbolt back.
"I know that. I just gave her some memories so she could figure it out herself. I didn't actually touch her."
Pushing open her door, Kurumu stepped inside. She grabbed the side of her hamper, dragging it over her threshold as Moka regarded her with a frown.
"Well I don't want you to teach me that way."
Kurumu arched her eyebrow, intrigued with that remark.
"Oh? Are you wanting me to teach you?"
Moka bit her lip as she stepped into Kurumu's room.
"How about I take your blood first?"
Kurumu smirked, peering up into Moka's indecisive eyes.
"I might be in no condition to help you if we do that."
Kurumu shivered when Moka suddenly caressed her cheek. Moka's eyes were still full of uncertainty.
"If you want to, you'll make it work."
Kurumu absently touched the swell of Moka's bosom. She suddenly had her own reservations against this. Would this be cheating on their boyfriends?
"I guess we'll find out."
