Summary: Kennedy is not happy about losing Rigby.

Notes: Just a friendly reminder that Kennedy is a dick, and his thoughts and opinions reflect that.

Anger and Chaos

May 2099

Colonel Earnest Kennedy glared at the orders that he had just received from the world president in regards to Captain Timothy Rigby, there was no way in hell he was going to let the son of his deceased predecessor off the hook that easily.

He turned to the base commander of the GDF's London headquarters, "Find Captain Rigby," he snarled at the officer. "And have him report to me at our German base," he turned to walk onto his waiting flyer. "I will not take no for an answer, arrest him if you have to."

"Yes sir," the commander replied nervously, as Kennedy boarded the plane with Johnson in tow.

As soon as he was on the bridge of the plane, he ordered the flyer to take off, then snapped an order to another officer to get himself and Johnson some refreshments, and bring it to his small office in the aircraft.

If Kennedy and Johnson were paying attention to that officer they would have seen that officer's eyes flashed green as she moved to fulfil his request.

Kennedy threw himself into his chair and rubbed his temples, today had not gone well at all, and his sponsors were going to be furious with him, they wanted access to International Rescue's amazing craft, and he had been waiting for the right opportunity to relieve the machines from the procession of the organisation.

But it looked like Alan Tracy was several steps ahead of him…

And now, as if to add salt to his already wounded pride, he was also losing his control over Timothy Rigby…

Johnson stepped in behind him and started to massage his shoulders like the obedient little whore she was, a lot of people wondered why he kept someone like Johnson around, but she had her uses, mostly to help him generate blackmail material that he could use against officers he didn't like, not that her advances ever worked on Rigby, unfortunately - he always did wonder how his old man handled the fact that his only child was a horse's hoof, and not likely to be continuing both the Casey and Rigby legacy…

Not that he cared about his predecessors family drama, but if Timothy Rigby had been his son, the boy would have been out on his arse as a wasted effort, as soon as he came out.

He was just starting to relax into his massage when the officer that he had sent for refreshments knocked on the door and entered with a pot full of coffee, a couple of cups and two pieces of cake, "Put them on the table," he told the officer. "And get out."

The officer moved quickly to obey, his order, giving him and Johnson a nasty look on the way out.

"Bitch better mind her manners," Johnson growled, after the officer left, as she started to poor some coffee for him and herself. "Otherwise I might teach her some."

"Not if I do so first," Kennedy replied, as he took the cup from Johnson and downed it in a couple of gulps. "But she is irrelevant at the moment, we have got to come with a plan to not lose control over Rigby."

"Not going to be easy with International Rescue protecting him," Johnson replied, as she refilled his cup and took a couple of sips from her own cup of coffee. "Not to mention Spectrum defending him as well."

Kennedy snorted as he took back his cup, "Spectrum," he replied. "Is going to have a lot more on their plate to worry about one lowly GDF officer, and since Colonel Blue insists on having a slow, methodical takedown of Bereznik, his people can do the huk-"

Kennedy suddenly felt his throat constrict, and suddenly found himself unable to breathe.

Johnson seeing his distress, rushed over to help him, only to find herself choking as soon as she tried to call out for help.

Kennedy stared at subordinate, in shock, as his vision started to fade, Poison, he thought, That little bit-

The Myrteronized GDF officer, who had once been a Lieutenant Kathy Copeland, was standing in front of the door of the soon to be deceased Colonel Kennedy's office, after she delivered what was to be his and Captain Johnson's final drink.

She smiled softly as she heard the muffled sounds of Kennedy and Johnson's final moments in the other room, marvelling in Kennedy's stupidity.

Because in normal circumstances she or any of her other Mysteron colleagues wouldn't be able to get this close to the commander of the GDF without being detected, because of Timothy Rigby, being a member of the Tracy family and carrying one of those annoying Mysteron detectors on him.

But by pushing Rigby away with his and Johnson's mistreatment, Kennedy left a massive hole in his security, one that the Mysterons were all too willing to exploit…

Copeland turned around and re-entered Kennedy's office just as the Mysteronization process was finishing and Kennedy's and Johnson's eyes flashed green.

Oh yes, Copeland thought, as she checked over the two new agents. The earthmen were going to be caught completely off guard by this one, "You know what you have to do?" She asked.

Kennedy and Johnson nodded, "We will obey," they replied.

As soon as EOS confirmed her readings, she called Tracy Island in a panic.

"What is it, EOS?" John asked as soon as the connection was established.

"Didn't Lady Penelope, confirm that the GDF and Spectrum were to surround Bereznik, and make sure nobody left the country, while the world government built their forces to fight Bereznik?" EOS asked.

"That she did EOS," John replied. "Why are you asking?"

"Because it appears that the closest GDF forces are attacking Bereznik," EOS replied. "Within the country's borders."

John stared at EOS's avatar, "Are you sure about that, EOS?" He asked.

"Sending you the data now," EOS replied.

John only had to look at the data for a couple of seconds, before hitting the emergency alarm, "International Rescue," he spoke into his com.

"We have a situation."
