Three weeks have passed by at snail's pace for everyone, "Hex I know you told me, but something about this place tells me I need to go."

"How long has she been missing, the one that calls you Professor?"

"A little over a month. I see her boyfriend in the hall and others have seen him with Tegan and Nyssa getting notes for her sister."

"Just be safe, can't have my grandfather getting hurt."

"I'll be fine."

"Poppy."

"I promise you, I will be careful."

"Good, I'll see you later." He pulls up to an abandoned building, gets out of the and sees an old beat up 96 Ford.

"Okay so here it goes," he knocks on the door after it opens to reveal a woman that looks a lot like his student, "hello, may I come in?"

"Who are you?"

"A citizen and a teacher."

"A teacher," the woman says loudly, "come on in." As Audrey and Glitz are talking to him, Ace knows the voice and uses it as her chance to escape, she opens the window, slides out of it and picks the white SUV that she saw at school. She lays down in the backseat and falls asleep. When she wakes up she sits up.

"Professor."

"Ace stay down, we are not too far away. I am taking you to the hospital."

"Ok," she lays back down.

"See that blanket, in case those two have noticed that you are gone, put it over you and hide my umbrella." Ace does as told and stays still and relaxes for the first time in weeks. "We're here." Ace gets out looking over her shoulder as the two of them enter, "you check in I am going to see if my friend is working."

Ace walks up to the reception desk. "I am Dorothy McShane, I have just escaped my kidnappers."

"You have been on the news."

"Ok, can I please be seen?"

"Right this way," says a kind voice, "your teacher knows me and I just so happen to have discharged my most recent patient. I am Dr Jones." Ace follows her, "we are going to have to get you checked in and have someone call your parents."

After Harry gets the call he goes running up the stairs, "she's been found, she's at the hospital, everyone has 5 minutes to get into the car." Harry thinks to call Graham, but wants to see his daughter before her boyfriend. As the family runs into the hospital McCoy is sitting waiting for them.

"Family of Ace."

"Mr. McCoy?"

"I found her, right this way," he shows them to her room then leaves after talking to the police.

"Dotty, I missed you."

"I missed you too Liam," he tries to give her a hug.

"I can't, the police still need to collect evidence."

"Who did this to you?" Harry asks, angry but happy his daughter is there with him.

"Who do you think Dad?"

"She needs to be locked away and the key thrown away too." Ace looks around. "I wanted us to see you first."

"What Dad doesn't know is I texted Graham, no response yet."

"Graham was over at our house a lot still."

"That doesn't surprise me." Ace keeps looking at the door as the police arrive. Ace asks her family to leave.

"Why doesn't she want us in there," Harry asks as he starts to pace the floor when the hospital doors slide open as a frazzled teenager runs in.

"She's been found," asks the dark haired Graham.

"Yes, why didn't you text back?"

"I was in therapy?"

"What?"

"My Aunt has me go every few weeks, Ace knows about it."

"Why?"

"Can we talk about Ace, why aren't you guys in there?"

"Officers Bell and Lakcy are in there."

"I can't believe they didn't take him off after how he treated all of us."

"I was just doing my job," Lakcy says as he comes out, "you guys can go back in." Graham is stopped by the officer. "I was just doing my job."

"A part of the job is to serve and protect, you weren't listening to us, go and get those who did this to her." Graham takes the box he had with him and hears her voice.

"There is someone who wants to see you," says Mel as she pokes her head out of the room.

"Ace," Graham sighs, seeing the hazel eyes of the one he loves.

"Graham," he goes over to her. He bends down to place his forehead against hers.

"I have a few things for you." He opens the box, "you dropped this," he takes out a bear wearing a necklace.

"The necklace."

"Your necklace on your new bear."

"Graham, you didn't need to get me this." She picks up the bear and plays with the necklace.

"I wanted to, also it kept your necklace safe after they printed it and gave it back to me once they realized it didn't have any importance to your case."

"I took it off before my Mum or Glitz got too close." She sits up on the bed, "please put it back on me." Graham looks to Harry and Zoe who nod their heads.

"Are you allowed to have anything on your neck?"

"I am not hooked up to any machine, so I would assume so. Please Graham." He takes the necklace off the bear and moves to fasten it around her neck. After it is done he backs up and she looks up at him and moves her mouth closer to him. "Are you sure?"

"Yes," she whispers before lightly kissing him on the lips. "I missed you, I should've listened to you, I think a large part of me forgot about it."

"Why."

"I'll tell you later." Graham starts to move away, Ace doesn't let him and starts to relax into his arms.

The next day Ace is discharged from the hospital and is walking hand in hand with Graham with Liam in front of them as the car pulls up. She freezes before realizing what car it is. "It's ok, it's just your dad. Zoe and Mel wanted to get a few things together."

"I was here in the hospital for maybe 12 hours."

"All of us missed you."

"I know and I missed all of you. I am ready to get good sleep again."

"You will be safe in your house."

"I know. I."

"Ace I know what you are about to say and stop it. It wasn't your fault." He opens the door for her and they get in the car, Liam goes to the other side and gets in next to his sister.

"Ace," a voice from the front says.

"Yes Dad."

"They got them."

"Like that will do any good. She was already caught once."

"This time both her and Glitz are being sent home and will never be allowed back in the states. I am trying to get the police there to put your Mum in prison there for your abuse then."

"Good, and let them rot."

"There's my Ace." Graham says, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. Ace relaxes again letting her head fall against his shoulders. "You are the strongest person that I know."

"Can I just relax before I find out what the others have planned for me."

"Of course," he kisses her crown as Liam starts talking a mile a minute. She falls asleep surrounded by the voice of her brother, her Dad complaining about all the other drivers on the road and the smell of Graham. She knows in that moment she is safe. She can feel the turns they make. As they make the last turn. "Ace."

"I'm waking up." She lifts up her head to see a head of dark curly hair ducking away from the window. "Nyssa?"

"I guess so, no one told me, because they knew I would tell you." They get out of the car and Liam runs in as the lights turn off. Harry sneaks in back.

"If I get overwhelmed can you please take me upstairs?"

"A word to know you are?"

"TARDIS." He nods, taking her hand in his rubbing her knuckles before opening the door to everyone screaming surprise. Ace doesn't let go as Tegan comes up to give her a hug, but as Nyssa wraps her arms around Ace's neck trying not to cry, she does.

"We were all more than worried, your sister and boyfriend missed a lot of school."

"What do you mean?" Ace looks to Graham who doesn't meet her eyes and starts to look around to everyone else then to Mel.

"I tried going, but I couldn't focus and the same goes for Graham. Two of the people that."

"Care about you the most." Graham interrupts not wanting the first time she hears that he loves her be from someone else, and have it be special.

"I hope the two of you can still pass your classes."

"We will; don't worry," Graham says, making eye contact again.

"I will always worry."

"Okay everyone, we have lots of food," Zoe says smiling, seeing Ace again in the house. "Most of it is in the kitchen." Hours later after the millionth question how she is doing she goes up to Graham.

"TARDIS." She takes his hand and the two make their way upstairs. "I am tired of this."

"I bet."

"Yes I was gone for weeks."

"Kidnapped by people, people that I want."

"You want nothing to do with them Graham."

"I just want you to always be ok."

"I am right now, want me to show you?"

"Huh," she walks them to the center of the room where her bed is and she lets go of one of his hands and puts both of her hands on his cheeks and lays her lips on his. She runs her tongue against his bottom lip and slips it inside as he opens his mouth. She slides closer to him and pushes him back on the bed while their lips are still attached. Tongues duel before it goes too far Graham breaks from the kiss.

"We need to stop."

"Why, I missed kissing you."

"And I missed kissing you, but we are on a bed, I want to be able to control myself, plus downstairs, our family and friends are having a party. I am not ready for."

"Graham, stop, I get it. Our first time should be special." She rolls off him, "your mind and heart may not be ready but one part of you is."

"That part has been ready since you kissed me on the cheek."

"I remember, you told me that already."

"Do you want to go back down?"

"No, I want to stay here where I won't get any more questions." She looks over at Graham. "What do you want to ask?"

"Want to watch something on tv?"

A large smile crosses her face, "sure." She reaches for the remote and turns it on quickly going for streaming. "This is what I needed, my boyfriend and a relaxing night; not a big party."

"They did it because they love you and wanted you to be surrounded by those who loved and missed you."

"I know, I just am not ready to be around many people. I am already thinking about summer school."

"I can help you get ready for finals. You didn't miss many tests, from what I understand."

"I thought you didn't go to school."

"My Aunt made sure I was in contact with my teachers, and I turned in my homework and was monitored for tests."

"We didn't have every class together this semester."

"Those few classes you had one of our friends in."

"Can we figure this out later, I just want to watch this."

"Shutting up."

"Good," she curls up against him, before the episode is over she is asleep.

He looks down at one point, "I love you." He focuses back on the screen in front of them. Soon after he falls asleep people downstairs minus Mel who noticed right away that Ace was missing.

"Where is she," asks a panicked Harry.

"She and Graham went upstairs a while ago. She was looking overwhelmed and like she was getting annoyed with everything." Harry starts to the stairs followed by Zoe trying to make sure he doesn't interrupt a make out session. What they find is the two teens fast asleep.

"What?"

"Shh Harry, she is asleep and safe from everything. They are on top of the covers and fully clothed."

"Still."

"We can wake them up later."

"Would you say that if it was Mel?"

"Yes, I trust her and if she was like they are right now. We should go back down," she takes his hand, Harry takes her to the side.

"When should we start planning?"

"After her birthday."

"My little girl is turning 16 in a little over a month."

"We should see if we can get one of her old friends over."

"They will be in school then."

"We can talk to their parents. She has mentioned a Shreela a few times."

"Ok, let's get in contact, I hope this birthday will be her best one."

"I am sure it will be." She leans up and kisses him lightly on the lips.
