Here is my new idea:
A knock at the door woke Stanley Pines up from his three-minute nap. He groaned softly, rubbing his face before slipping off the couch to answer the door. He wasn't expecting anyone. He's been too busy with work and raising his three-week-old triplet boys. On the other side of the door was a man Stanley had not seen in four years – his twin brother, Stanford Filbrick Pines. Normally, Stan would be happy to see his brother, but Stan was too exhausted to give out his happiness. Without saying a word, Stan opened the door wide, letting Stanford (better known as Ford) into his small apartment.
The brothers walked over to the couch, having Ford sit down.
"Do you want a drink?" asked Stanley (better known as Stan).
Ford shook his head, "Ma called me…"
Stan dropped next to Ford, cutting him off, "Of course. You're only here because ma called you."
"I'm not going to lie. That's one reason why I'm here, Stanley," said Ford, having Stan glance at him confused, "When ma called me, she told me that you're a parent of triplet boys. Ma tried to get you to tell her where you live so she could see her grandbabies. But you deny the request. Why?"
"I know ma wants to see my boys, but I doubt pa would allow that since he hates me, Ford. I'm not sure how to feel about you being here," Stan replied, rubbing his tired eyes, "I admit when I found out Nikki was pregnant with my baby, you were the first person I wanted to call. And I did. But when you answered, I hung up, not wanting to be a bother. When she gave birth to triplets, I called you again…"
"But you hung up again," Ford took over, "Stanley…"
"I should hate you because you didn't believe me when I said I didn't mean to break your project. But I don't hate you, Ford. Hell! I love you so much, brother, I gave one of my sons your first name! But you will always hate me!"
Stan allowed tears to flow down his face. He leaned forward, placing his elbows on his knees. He hid his face in his hands, trying to not sob hard. But it was when he was very exhausted. When he found out Nikki was pregnant, he decided to take up a job, not having a day off and working overtime, which his manager doesn't care about.
"Stan…"
"I'm so tired, Ford!" Stan cried, glancing over at Ford, "I'm caring for triplets one my own! I have to take them to work with me because I cannot find anyone to watch them! I haven't had a day off in months, Stanford! I know ma wants to help! But I cannot ask her, fearing pa would harm my children! I have no one!"
