The first thing that Sara told me was about the accident. We had both been sleeping when we were woken up by the storm. Judging by the fact that Robert had intentionally caused the explosion, I wouldn't be surprised if he had the captain intentionally steer into a storm. It would be the perfect cover. I couldn't help but wonder if it was just a coincidence the first time. Did Malcolm have any idea that there was supposed to be a storm? She still couldn't the thunderbolts but I was pretty sure that her reaction to me teasing her about the science of it was different at that point, the boat broke apart and she fell into the water. She found a piece of driftwood and was later found by Ivo.

I had invited her over to spend the night in the guest room since no one knew about it. I had to assure Courtney that we would be in separate beds. I just thought that she could use somewhere with a bed, but I found that maybe it was a bad idea because I couldn't sleep very well. I went downstairs to see some basketball highlights. I didn't really like basketball.

"Couldn't sleep either?" I asked as Sara came down.

"I don't do well with my eyes closed." She remarked. I hoped that she would get over insomnia. I was pretty sure being with the Legends helped, but I didn't know if that would be an option here. "Hey thanks for letting me stay here? I know you have a lot going on with your mom? Where's Thea right now?"

"She's at her girlfriend's house." I explained. "Malcolm's currently out of town."

"Are you sure that your girlfriend is okay with this?" She asked with a look of concern on her face.

"Yeah. She knows that you were staying inside of a clocktower and could use a warm bed." I explained. "Though, I do think that there are better options. Your family misses you and they would love to have you back."

"How do you know?" She questioned.

"Because they still talk about you a lot." I pointed out.

"I really don't think they'll be that happy to see me as you think." She argued. I knew the league was after her, but that would be resolved soon.

"How can you say that? I know how hard it is to come hard when you've been gone for so long." I commented.

"I'm guessing my father and Laurel weren't too happy to see you," She told me.

"You gotta start calling her Dinah." I remarked. "We're mostly on good terms right now, even though she's kind of struggling right now. I know that things won't be easy, but it will be easier to let them in because they love you. That's something that I learned, even though quite a few people still don't know who I am. I know how things went down. I even found out that my father wasn't my father, but I would still say that I'm pretty happy."

"Well some things are better left in the past." She stated before she went back upstairs. I needed to get her to open up to me, but I knew that I would have to be careful because I didn't know if she had feelings for me or not.

In the morning, Malcolm was back because my mom had a big meeting with the D.A. I was sitting in the prison cell beside her. Courtney's mom was also there. I knew that I didn't need to be nervous, but the situation still made me very nervous.

"So I come here with a plea offer." Donner stated as he handed Barbara a sheet of paper. "You would serve life with a possibility of parole."

"No." Barbara declared. "We are not pleading out. Mrs. Queen is innocent."

"She aided and abetted over 500 homicides." Donner explained.

"Under duress from her homicidal ex-husband." Barbara pointed out. "She also withdrew from the criminal conspiracy prior to its execution."

"Well with Robert Queen once again dead, a jury is going to want to blame someone and his ex-wife seems like she would be an easy scapegoat." Donner remarked. "If you don't take the deal, then she is facing the death penalty."

"That sounds kind of like blackmail to me." Thea commented.

"Try reality. I've subpoenaed over a decade's worth of information. I wouldn't be surprised if I find something that crushes your duress defense." Donner declared.

"Mr. Donner, if you don't mind, I'd like a few days to consider your offer." Mom remarked.

"Of course." He agreed before he left.

"Mom, you can't seriously be considering this." Thea stated.

"I just want to keep my options open." Mom replied. "There is a real possibility that we could lose this case. I did still help Robert and I know a lot of things could be revealed that hurt you."

I didn't know if my parentage or Emiko's existence really had anything to do with the case.

Another thing that Sara told me was Ivo had still found her. He had apparently been experimenting on children to see if he could give them superpowers, but from what I gathered he didn't seem to be attracted to them.

I went to the club because I told her that she needed to be gone before Malcolm came back.

"So how did everything go with your mother?" She asked.

"They want her to either take life in prison or face the death penalty." I told her. "Sara, I'm not going to tell anyone else that you're alive, even though I don't know why you want to keep it a secret. Is it because of what happened on the island, or because of what Ivo did to us?"

"No." She answered. She actually told me everything yet, but I had a feeling that a lot of it was the same. Some of it probably was different though since I still didn't know my relationship to Slade or if he was even alive.

"No, it's after that. I did some things that I'm really ashamed of." She remarked. "These are things that I should never be forgiven for."

"The thing about forgiveness is you don't get to decide whether or not people forgive you." I pointed out. "I don't care what you did or even if you hurt me directly. I forgive you for all of it and I'm sure that your family will as well."

At that point, someone broke into the club. It was a member of the League and he started to fight us. He had weapons. I knew that I would have to get someone to get the window fixed which might lead to a night of closed operation. I hoped that there wouldn't any significant damage because I wasn't worried about winning. I took him down and unmasked him.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"I'm just a warrior like you." He told me. "Why are you dress like Robert Queen? Who sent you?"

He then knocked down one of my light fixtures and Sara screamed to stop it and when I looked away, I was gone. I was glad that I had insurance even though my payments were probably too high. I was also glad that this didn't happen at home because it would be a lot harder to explain.

I then took her downstairs. Part of me didn't want to tell anyone else about this even though I knew that I had to.

"I remember the first time that I saw this hood. Shado was wearing it." She explained.

"Sara you still have to tell me a lot about what happened, but right now I'm more concerned about what happened to you." I told her.

"This is quite the set-up you have here as you're launching your one-girl war for Star City." She commented.

"I'm not just one girl." I stated. "These are my friends: Iris, Courtney and Mia."

I didn't want to tell her the whole thing about Mia because we had bigger things to worry about right now.

"Welcome home, Sara." Iris told her. Courtney decided to come over and grab my hand. I was pretty sure that she was a little bit jealous.

"It's nice to meet you." Courtney stated. I felt kind of like she didn't trust me, but she probably did have some reason to be jealous.

"We just had an uninvited guest break into the club." I declared.

"How long do you think it'll take to fix?" Mia asked.

"It'll probably one be a day or two." I replied. "The more important thing is who it was. He was dressed similarly to Robert."

"That's because he was a member of the League Assassins." Sara stated. "I don't want you to find this guy. He wasn't after you, Livvy. He was after me."

"Who is this guy?" I asked as I put my hand on her shoulder.

"His name is al-Owal." Sara explained.

"I thought that they were a myth." Iris commented.

"Who are the League of Assassins?" Courtney questioned. "And don't say that it's a league made up of assassins."

"Some of the officers in the academy told me about an ancient sect of assassins that killed and disappeared like ghosts." Iris explained.

"I tried to tell you, Livvy, but you wouldn't listen." Sara told me.

"So that's where you've been for the past years." I commented. I wasn't upset because I expected it. "I also already told you that I forgive you for whatever you did with them. I'm not someone to judge."

"After the freighter, a member of the League rescued me and took me in and took me to Nanda Parbat. They saved me and I still owe them my life, and I swore them my allegiance." Sara explained. I was pretty sure that they didn't adhere to child labor laws.

"Well why are they after you?" Iris asked.

"Because I left them and there is only one way that you leave the League." Sara explained.

"Let me guess, that's why you don't want to see your family." Mia remarked. "Sara, we are not going to let them kill you or your family."

"A year ago I was Guyana. I was there for a man named Suarez. He was a local diplomat and I slit his throat in his sleep." Sara explained. "And his kids found his body in the morning. I'm a murderer. Livvy, do you really think that my family will be happy to see me?"

I then got a text from Thea asking where I was.

"I have to go to Iron Heights." I explained. "Mia, can you try to find al-Owal?"

I had to quickly change into a blue dress and head to the prison.

"Where have you been?" Thea asked.

"Someone broke into my club." I explained. It wasn't even a lie. "What's going on?"

"Your mother wants to take the deal." Malcolm explained.

"And you think this is a good idea?" I asked. "This is about the death penalty."

"You were acting under duress. Even if we get to sentencing, I have the proof to avoid the death penalty." Barbara explained.

"It's not the death penalty that scares me." Mom explained.

"Then why aren't fighting this?" Thea questioned.

"I don't want our dirty laundry to get aired for everyone to hear. I don't want everyone to know that I had an affair with Malcolm or that your father had an affair that resulted in Emiko." She explained.

"Mom, we don't care about reputation as long as you can get out of jail." I pointed out.

"Well I'm also not confident that I can win over a jury and I'm not altogether certain that I deserve tp." Mom responded.

"Are you seriously just ready to give up?" Thea shouted. "We still need you. I still need you. I'm trying my best to be CEO of this company, but you don't understand how hard it is when I don't know I can ever have dinner with you again? I'll ever be able to just come and visit you unannounced."

Thea then went out and Malcolm went after her, leaving my and Mom alone.

"Growing up, I didn't think there were secrets kept between us but obviously there were." I explained. "Why do I have a feeling that you're hiding something from me other than just the fact that Malcolm is my father and that Emiko exists. What are you hiding now?"

She just grabbed my hands and looked me in the eye.

"Help your sister come to terms with my choice, because it's made." She requested. It was kind of rude of her just to avoid the question like that.

One thing that I was little nervous about was that I had left Sara with Courtney at the club. I was pretty sure that Courtney didn't want to fight her but I was kind of afraid of what she could tell her about me, especially since I wouldn't even know if it was true. I supposed that I would just have to hope that nothing weird would happen between the two of them.

I was also angry when I went inside the lair. I was in a pretty bad mood, not only about what happened with the prison but also that I would have to close the club down for a few days.

"How did it go with your mother?" Iris asked.

"Not well. Have you found somebody for me to hit yet?" I replied. I knew that was not the best avenue to put my anger into, but it was probably better than just bottling it up inside of me.

"Well I looked at some surveillance footage and I found some footage of a man dressed like you said near an old pesticides plant. It got shut down by the EPA three years ago." Mia explained. "It's currently abandoned, but I wouldn't be surprised if our assassin was staying there while he was plotting his next move against Sara."

"He will kill you." Sara declared.

"I really don't like it when you underestimate my abilities." I told her.

"This is my fight." She pointed out.

"He made it my fight when he broke into my club to come after you." I argued. "Not to mention, I am not going to let him hurt you."

I headed to the plant and shot an arrow at him. I wasn't surprised when he caught it.

"Arrows: such an ineffective projectile. I find it strange that anyone still fears them." He told me.

"I'll show you why if you don't leave Sara alone." I explained. "This is your only warning."

"And it would be effective if you posed a threat to me, but I'm not afraid of a little girl." He stated. "Your barely defeated Robert at nearly the cost of your own life. What hope would you have against the man who trained him?"

"It helps that I didn't come alone." I pointed out as not only Sara, but also Courtney and Mia revealed themselves. He looked to Sara.

"The child of Ra's al Ghul awaits your return." He told her. You know I didn't originally understand what he meant by that. He was talking about Nyssa. I also couldn't help but wonder what it would mean if Nyssa was still the same age. Would the two of them still have a relationship? Or would that mean that Nyssa's bond with Sara was more motherly. I supposed that I would have to wait for Nyssa to show up to figure that out.

"I'm not going." Sara declared defiantly.

"That choice is not yours. I have orders to return you." He explained. "Alive or dead."

"You're not going to kill me." Sara stated.

"You overestimate your importance." He argued. Actually, if Sara was as important to Nyssa and she had been in my world, she would definitely kill him. "Regardless, you're coming back with us."

"Us?" Courtney asked.

"Like you, I did not come alone." He declared as several more assassins came out. We quickly found out that he had brought several low-level assassins with him. While they may have not been up to our skill level, I was quick to notice that we have seemed to be vastly outnumbered and they probably had a better feel of the area than we did. I figured that the best thing to do was to retreat. Also Sara was injured. I had to stitch her back up because she didn't heal like I did.

"You're not even flinching when she does that." Courtney commented.

"One thing that the League teaches you is to have a very tolerance for pain." Sara explained. "It takes a lot to make me scream."

I was pretty sure that there wasn't a double entendre there, even though it sounded a bit like one.

"So did this happen to you before?" Mia asked me once we were far enough away.

"It was something similar to this." I explained. "But I don't know all of the details since some things could be different."

I then walked over to them.

"We need to protect the Lances. I'll deal with Dinah because I have a personal connection to this." I explained. I didn't know if he would go after her not brother-in-law, but it wasn't worth taking a chance over.

"What am I supposed to do?" Sara asked.

"Nothing. You're hurt and we don't need you to reopen your stitches." I explained. You know even for someone who had been through what I had been through, I still didn't like needles very much.

"What about my father?" Sara asked.

"I'll talk to Detective Lance and tell him that he needs to get out of town for a few days." Iris volunteered.

"Please don't tell him about me." Sara requested. You know it wasn't fair to tell him to leave without telling him why, but we would do what Sara wanted. Part of me wondered what would happen if I did just tell Dinah that Sara was alive, but I didn't want Sara to be mad at me.

"You four are quite the team." Sara commented.

"Yeah, it's kind of like a weird family." Iris commented.

I wasn't sure how Iris was going to explain to Quentin that he needed to get out of town. Hopefully, he would be better at it than Felicity but I wasn't sure about that. He was pretty stubborn and that worried me. I wanted to make sure that he didn't get killed again.

So that night, I went to Tommy and Dinah's apartment. I had an idea for why I was there, even though it sounded kind of weird.

"Olivia, what are you doing here?" She asked. I tried to look for any clues to her alcoholism, but I didn't see any, so she had to be good at hiding it. I wasn't even sure if Tommy noticed.

"I wanted to know if you two were doing anything for dinner. I thought maybe the three of us could do something together." I replied. It was kind of the best that I could come up with.

"We were just going to stay in tonight." Tommy explained.

"Well can I stay in with you? Maybe I could stay over?" I requested. I couldn't help but wonder if I was starting to sound a little desperate.

"Olivia, is everything alright?" Dinah asked.

"I'm just a little bit worried about my mom's case." I explained. "And I'm a little bit worried about you two after what happened last week. Maybe we could watch a movie together or something?"

"You know what that sounds like a great idea." Tommy responded. "I'm sorry that I haven't been around much. Work has been kind of crazy."

Part of me thought that he was putting himself into his work to try to avoid this stuff. I didn't even think he was mad at her for what she had done, but there was probably some kind of reason that he didn't want to be around.

I watched a movie with them that I had never seen before. It was some kind of romantic comedy and I did have to admit that I felt a bit like I was the third wheel. You know I never really got that phrase. Yes I knew it had to do with being the third unwelcome person, but most vehicles had made than two wheels. The only ones that didn't were bikes, both of the motorized and non-motorized variety.

Another thing that I knew was that Sara was probably to try to talk Quentin, unless Iris had successfully convinced him, which I doubted. I hoped that he would recognize her. There had to be a bigger difference than a 10-year-old Sara and a 16-year-old as opposed to be a 19-year-old Sara and a 25-year-old. I also couldn't help but tear up a little thinking about their reunion.

"Are you okay?" Dinah asked me.

"It's just this movie is so good…" I lied as I wiped my tears. I had to admit that I really wanted to tell her about Sara, but I had promised Sara that I wouldn't. It was going to be confusing. I wouldn't help but wonder how she would feel when she found out that I knew. She would probably be pretty mad at me. I couldn't quite remember if that was before or after she found out that I was the vigilante. I also didn't want her to go down the same path as she did before. She was the one person that I didn't save because it would cause some issues.

"So you don't need to be so afraid of what's going to happen to your mom," Dinah told me. It was weird with her not being involved the case. Once she got sober, I would need to help her get a new restaurant, but I didn't think that she in a good position to be a chef in her current condition. "Everything is going to work out."

"What is going on?" Tommy asked. He probably should have asked us about it, but I supposed that this was him doing that. He probably should have done it sooner.

"The DA gave her a plea deal for life in prison and she wants to take it." I remarked.

"Isn't that better than the death penalty?" Dinah asked.

"Yes, but it's basically her saying that she doesn't think that she can win." I stated. I was fairly certain that she would win, but I didn't know if there would be any sort of nefarious intervention this time around. I kind of wondered what Malcolm's reasoning for doing it was. Was it because he loved her?

"So do you really want to stay the night? You can sleep on the couch if you want. I don't suppose you brought anything to sleep in." Dinah asked.

"No." I admitted. I really hadn't planned that out. I probably should have. I was pretty sure that they weren't even going to come after Dinah, but I would have to wait until I got a call to go help Sara.

"I could give you one of my shirts." Tommy offered. You know I never thought that I would get to that part of being a girl since I didn't like guys. I was also pretty sure that I wasn't actually going to end up staying over. He then walked off.

"So I can't help but notice that you've been watching me all night to make sure that I didn't drink anything." She stated. "Now do you realize that I don't have a problem and I'm not a drunk."

"I didn't actually say either of those things." I remarked.

"Yeah, but I'm pretty sure that you were thinking them." She stated. I blushed a little bit at that. I kind of felt like I needed to get out of the situation.

"You know maybe I should go." I replied. "I don't want you think the wrong message for why I came over here."

"No I get the message. I get it every day. Run. Run far away from Dinah. I'm surprised that Tommy hasn't yet. I've been hearing it for years. Sara left with you. My dad got stuck in a bottle and my mom drove away. Why does everyone want to leave?"

"I'm not going to leave you…but I still think that I should leave this to you and Tommy." I remarked as I went to put my shoes on.

"What's going on?" Tommy asked as he returned.

"I think you and Dinah have something to discuss." I explained before I made my exit. I then took out my phone. "Mia, Dinah and Tommy's place is all clear."

"That has to mean that he's after Quentin." She replied.

"Can you find him and then tell Courtney?" I requested.

"I don't think Courtney's going to be able to help us. Since she's not working tonight, she's basically spending time with her family." Mia explained. "Also Sara kind of went to tell her father that she's alive. She said that no one was going to stop her."

"I'm pretty sure that I know where she's going to take him." I stated. "Meet me at the clocktower."

"Don't you need to come here and get your suit first?" She asked. I supposed that was an issue. I sighed and headed back to the club.

The other thing was we weren't able to take our fastest way to get there since Courtney wasn't there. We would have to drive. I was pretty sure that we would have enough time, but it definitely wasn't as much as I would like. We also had some time to talk on the way there.

"So do you think that I can save Sara this time around without messing things up?" I asked.

"This world is new, so there's nothing to mess up. You just have to know that it will cause things to go differently than you are used to." Mia pointed out.

"Well I've already grown accustomed to that." I explained as we arrived at the clocktower.

We were a little bit late because the fighting had already started but we weren't too late. I did hear a loud scream which broke the glass so I didn't have to.

We ended up fighting some more before Sara grabbed al-Owal by the neck.

"You think that because you are the beloved that you will be granted your freedom?" He asked. I still couldn't help but wonder what that meant. It didn't automatically have to mean that the two of them were in a romantic relationship. You could think of someone that you think of a child as your beloved. It would be a little weird, but Nyssa also wasn't the normal person. I was also a little surprised that Felicity had her train Mia, but I was also pretty sure that she and Thea were hooking up or something.

"There is only one freedom. Let me grant you yours." Sara stated before she broke his neck. Quentin looked shocked. I knew it was coming and I was also a little shocked seeing it. She then grabbed one of the other men.

"You don't have to do this." I replied.

"Sara, it's over." Quentin told her.

"Tell Ra's al Ghul that my family is off-limits." She declared. "His quarrel is with me, no one else."

With that the man jumped out of the broken clock face.

"I'm sorry that you had to see me do that." Sara apologized. "I can't imagine what you must think of me."

"I think that you're a survivor." Quentin told her. "I also think that you're one of the bravest people that I've ever known. You're my daughter."

The two of them then hugged. You know I had the same feeling when I saw Mia fight for the first time.

"It's time for you to come back home." He added.

"Dad, I can't. They're never going to stop looking for me." She pointed out. "I don't want to put you or Dinah in danger. I'm okay with them hurting me, but I would never be able to forgive myself if they hurt you."

"They need to know." He replied.

"They can't. I came back to make sure my family was safe, but if they knew that I was alive, Dinah and Mom, they would never stop looking for me and that could get them both killed." She explained.

"I can't let you go. I just got you back." He said with tears in his eyes.

"I have to go." Sara replied before she looked at me and Mia. "Keep them safe."

"Detective, she's right. You have to keep her secret." I stated.

"It's already the hardest thing that I've ever had to do." He responded. "How do you live like this?"

The next day, Thea and I went to the prison together.

"I never would refuse a visit from my children, but I'm pretty sure that I know why you're here." Mom declared. "I'm not changing my mind."

"That is about me changing my mind. I'm okay if everyone finds out who my father is." I stated. "And if there are any other secrets, I can take them. No matter what horrible things you've done, I'll always love you."

"We both will." Thea added. "You taught us to be strong independent women and we are not going to scare that easily."

"Well then I'll take Barb to reject Mr. Donner's offer." She declared.

I then went to the club where found Iris and Courtney.

"Where's Sara?" She asked.

"She left." I answered.

"Are you okay with that?" Courtney questioned.

"I didn't have much of a choice." I explained as I opened my trunk and pulled out a bottle of vodka. "I thought that I should open this, but I can't let you drink any, Courtney."

"So why are you drinking this?" Courtney asked.

"Because I need." I remarked before I poured myself a glass. "You know I think we've been dancing around this for too long. Let's find Deadshot."

So Olivia has made it her mission to save Sara's life even though that's pretty far away. Also she found out some of what happened to her. Please don't forget to review.
