Blaise was sitting on one of the comfy sofas in the Slytherin common room reading a magazine.

A female hand touched his neck.

"What are you reading?" A curious girl asked.

"Oh, hi Pansy. I was reading an article in the Quibbler about alternate universes. In another universe maybe I could be a Ravenclaw student and you could be a Gryffindor."

Pansy made a disgusted face.

"Rather than reading that stuff, would you like to take me and Harry for a nice dip in the lake?" She asked to him in a sugary voice.

"Can I refuse?"

"I promised him I'd teach him to swim but maybe I'm not such a good teacher...please." she said pleadingly with her eyes.

"Okay, okay. I guess this is the right opportunity for me to get to know him." He replied placing the magazine on the sofa.

Harry was sitting near the edge of the lake. He was a little agitated but luckily there was no one around to notice him.

"Did we keep you waiting that long?" asked his favorite voice.

Behind him there was Pansy and a slytherin boy, it was the one who was consoling herthat time.

"Harry, this is Blaise Zabini. Blaise, this is Harry Potter." The two boys promptly shook hands.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Pansy told me a lot about you." Blaise said.

"Oh uhm the pleasure is all mine." An awkward Harry smiled.

"Um... what do we do now?" He asked, trying to somehow postpone the problem.

"What do we do? Let's go for a swim!" She said and she started undressing.

She wore a simple monochromatic black bikini and briefs. Her swimsuit fit her small breasts perfectly and flattered the rest of her slim body.

"So, how do I look?" She asked amused to the other two.

Harry's mouth opened and closed like a fish and couldn't finish a sentence.

Blaise was looking away, trying to ignore the blood from his nose.

Shortly after, the two boys also undressed.

The Gryffindor wore a simple white boxer shorts two sizes larger, the Slytherin instead wore a black boxer shorts with funny green snakes drawn on it.

Harry had numerous bruises and scars behind his back.

"Probably due to that sadist Wood's training." thought Blaise.

Pansy dived immediately.

"Come on Harry, it's very easy! Just jump in and forget about it!" She was already splashing around in the lake.

It was simple, right?

He simply had to throw himself into the unknown, as he always had.

Still, this unknown scared him.

He really wanted to reach her but he was afraid that if he jumped in the water, he would never be able to see her again.

"Burden like you should just sink..." a voice hissed in his head...

Blaise understood two things: that Pansy really was a bad teacher as she had admitted and Potter's situation was more serious than he thought.

He decided to take matters into his own hands, literally.

"Okay dude, take a deep breath!"

He said to the Gryffindor and then grabbed him from behind and threw him into the water with himself.

Harry was taken aback and tried to thrash about in the water and free himself from the boy's grip.

"Let me go, I'm drowning!" he cried in despair.

"Be calm, here you touch." The other replied.

It was true, he could touch the bottom of the lake and for a moment he calmed down.

"See? Nothing to worry about. Now start moving your legs. Don't worry, I'm here to hold you."

The two began to move around the lake, soon arriving at a point where it did not touch.

He didn't even notice and soon Harry was swimming there too and Blaise let go.

"I'VE DONE IT!" he cried with joy.

Pansy clapped briefly.

"I told you I would teach you!" She said satisfied as Blaise shook his head in dissent.

"Thank you Zabini. Sorry if I hit you earlier, I must have looked really pathetic."

He apologized embarrassed.

"No need to be so formal, you can just call me Blaise...and you're not pathetic. I also didn't know how to swim but my mother taught me that way."

The girl swam close to them quickly.

"Harry, no more 'sorry'. You should just have fun!" She said starting to splashed them.

They spent time talking about simple topics and happily swimming. It was complementary different than talking to Hermione and Ron. Not better or worse, just different.

It was nice to be able not to think about Voldemort, any threat in the wizarding world that was trying to kill him or a very stupid rivalry between houses and just enjoy a simple day as a normal student.

Living in the moment.

However, they were soon no longer alone.

Two perfectly identical tall individuals with the same haircut and the same number of freckles were approaching the lake.

"Hey George, look who's here, our forgetful favorite." Said the boy on the right.

"You're right Fred. Should we remind him how many Galleons he owes us?"

Harry immediately remembered that strange duo.

"Fred and George!" Harry exclaimed.

Blaise looked at them puzzled as Pansy snorted and rolled her eyes.

"Ugh, Ronald Weasley's brothers." she said with all the disgust in the world.

Fred put a hand on his chest as if he'd just been speared while his brother held him up shaking his head.

"What a shame! Years of legendary pranks in the school to be remembered as the brothers of that idiot." Fred joked.

"Don't worry guys, they're fine. They are not like Ron or at least from what little I remember." Harry reassured the other two.

Pansy was still defensive while Blaise was indifferent.

"If we were like Ron we wouldn't have..."

"...done this." Finished the other twin.

The twins undressed and jumped into the water, splashing everyone.

Blaise and Harry burst out laughing.

The Slytherin boy liked their company and immediately became their friend, while Pansy was closer to Harry and always on the defensive, even though she thought them better than Ron.

"Perhaps we should be careful not to swim too far in these waters, there is still the giant Squid." George said to scare the others.

Blaise shrugged.

"We are safe, the squid is only interested in attacking defenseless girls."

Pansy gripped Harry's arm.

"T-that's not funny Blaise!" She said slightly scared.

Time flew by and they did not notice that it was getting dark.

The youngsters immediately got out of the water and while the boys were in a panic, Pansy was absolutely calm and relaxed.

"But how can you be so calm? We're still soaking wet. If we don't make it in time, they'll punish us!" Blaise said flustered.

"You really can't do it? We witches have been able to do it since birth."

The boys looked at each other perplexed that they didn't understand what she was referring to.

"Uugh, you're really obtuse. Don't worry, I'll dry you."

The girl pulled out the wand from her skirt on the ground and whispering a spell under her breath, she began to come out of the hot air that warmed her up and dried her in an instant.

"Come, I'll give you a hand."

She repeated the spell and the boys quickly dry up.

It was Harry's turn last.

"So that was the spell in the hospital wing..." he said.

She looked at him slightly sad.

"Y-you don't hate me for that, do you?" she asked hesitantly.

"Are you kidding? You saved me from that ratface idiot, why on earth should I hate you?"

She avoided his gaze and blushed.

"You are very kind, Harry." She said softly, smiling.

They finished dressing and soon the group was walking towards the castle.

"I hope none of the prefects say anything." Said the girl in the group.

"And what should they say?'Four guys and a pretty girl? How lucky!' "

The twins gave Blaise a dumb look and burst into laughter, Pansy covered her face with her hands in embarrassment while Harry was indifferent because he hadn't caught this 'sophisticated' joke.

They entered the castle early and made their way to the Great Hall to dine.

There were still a few people there and they were all able to sit down and eat together in a quiet part of the Gryffindor table.

They finished early and arrived in the hall, near the entrance that led to the dungeons and the stairs.

"Guys, it was a wonderful day. See you as soon as possible!" Said the Slytherin boy greeting them and heading to the dungeon.

"It wasn't like I imagined but I guess it wasn't a bad day." said Pansy who approached Harry and kissed him on the cheek.

"S-see you tomorrow." She whispered and then went away happy but with a completely red face in the dungeons.

"If you don't call us as wedding witnesses, we take offense."

Fred said winking at an embarrassed Harry.

They went up the stairs in silence, there was something he wanted to tell them about but he didn't have the courage.

He finally spoke.

"You won't hate me because I'm friends with her, will you? I mean, I've already had a fight with Hermione and Ginny who are avoiding me together with Ron. I don't-"

"Harry." George interrupted.

"We don't care what thr others in our house or other family members think. She's your friend and we won't hate you just because you date a Slytherin."

"You will always have our support regardless of others." Fred added.

Harry felt heartened.

"Now back to the wedding topic..." George continued as he got on and teased Harry all the way.
