"The island is ruined..." a suited man groaned, before slamming a fist on a wooden table in front of him.

This was Javier, one of the executives from the network, now having to deal with the fact that the island they were leasing was at the bottom of Lake Ontario. He was sitting in his high rise office with a few other execs on one side of the table, while Chris and Chef sat on the other side. "I say good riddance to that island. It was a hazard at best and the next Chernobyl in making at worst." Dale, the head of Canada's EPA commented, glaring at the host.

"So, no island means no show right? Viewership numbers were abysmal for season 5, ratings plummeted in the second half of season 6, and we haven't even gotten proper feedback on season 7." Margaret, one of the other execs stated, looking over the show's stats.

Chris didn't look worried at all though, having his hands behind his head as he leaned back. "You guys don't think you can actually handle my show can you?" Chris asked them in full confidence.

"We'd have to find a whole new place to film, probably a new cast, and all the other expenses that come with that, on top of the prize money." Javier told Chris, narrowing his eyes at the host.

Chris gave a wave of dismissal, then pointed at himself. "Why don't we just use the film-"

"You know we can't use the film lot again. You know exactly why." Margaret cut him off before he could even finish that suggestion.

Chef thought throughout this deliberation, then looked to Chris. "Y'think that project of yours is ready?" Chef asked Chris, since the film lot was off the table.

Chris paused, before getting a big smirk. "When we open up a casting call for a new season, we'd have plenty of time before the filming starts correct?" Chris double checked with them.

"Correct sir." Gerard, another executive answered politely.

Chris then stood up, both palms on the table. "Then everything for the next season is already set. I have my own private island we can use, and don't worry, I've got the prize money covered too. You guys just get me a cast to pick from and give me the air time, then we'll handle the rest." Chris laid out his plan.

The execs looked at each other, with Gerard typing something into his laptop. "Boss, if we were to remove these aspects from the budget, this is less than half the price to produce compared to that racing show that got pitched. This might be the safer option." Gerald informed Javier.

Javier pinched the bridge of his nose, before reluctantly nodding to Chris. "We'll work out the smaller details later, but fine. We'll only give you the budget for picking a cast and staff. We're not furnishing this island of yours, that's for you to handle." Javier gave his own terms on the plan.

"Won't be a problem." Chris quickly replied.

Margaret got up and opened the door for the two, with Dale furious this was being greenlit. "I don't know how you do it, but you're going to get canned eventually." Margaret told Chris, letting him and Chef leave.

"I ain't got a clue either." Chef responded, following the still smirking Chris out.

The door closed, and now a defeated air filled the boardroom the execs were in. "Why did you approve that!? You have no idea what he's up to!" Dale lashed out at Javier.

Javier sighed, leaning against the window now. "He makes us money, and if he can that cheaper than our other options, then we have to take it. We're not government funded like your department, so we can't afford to take the morally-superior options." Javier explained in a dismal tone.

"If this performs well, then we might even be able to save the budget on picking a new cast and just roll with these contestants for a few seasons too." Gerard added, running the numbers.

Javier nodded, then put a hand on Dale's shoulder. "And if this is some kind of war crime he's about to commit, you can just lock him up. Felon with a prior will keep him away for good." Javier assured Dale.

"We'll see then..." Dale muttered, still not liking this outcome.

Outside the boardroom, Chris and Chef got on the office elevator together, both of them already knowing exactly where Chris's mind was at. "You held on to the project? I thought you had to-"

"I got someone else. An actual nobody that nobody will come looking for or miss. With our data from last season, we know exactly what makes a contestant the best of the best. This'll be a slam dunk for our wallets." Chris told Chef, bobbing his head to the elevator music.

"You all kinds of messed up. But what about the island? That thing ain't the most stable last I checked." Chef followed up.

Chris shrugged his shoulders. "I didn't want to have to use it so soon, but hey, that danger is good for ratings. It looks real enough anyway." Chris answered, still with utmost confidence.

"And if this all blows up in your face? 'Cuz I ain't going down with this." Chef sternly told Chris.

"It won't, I'm the Chris McLean. It'll only blow up on the execs who will have their names right on the credits. I always come out on top." Chris assured Chef, before the ding of the elevator reaching the ground floor was then heard and the doors opened. Chris stepped out first, waving to Chef as he spedwalked out of the office building, leaving Chef to just ponder Chris's plans.

Hello everyone! About a year and a half ago I opened up applications for Total Drama Revenge of the Film Lot, and that fic will be coming to a close soon, along with Total Drama Malibu. With both ending soon, I'm finally ready to open up applications for the next generation of this universe, which is of course Pahkitew! I'm going to be accepting 16 (possibly more) OCs for this story, which will run alongside supplemental visuals for further content. I'll be leaving these apps open for a long while, simply because it takes a while to make the assets, so don't be worried if I don't confirm your character's place in the story immediately! This cast in particular will be used anywhere from 1 to 3 seasons, with possible future appearances in this universe's spinoffs and cameos, so please be aware of that going in! Pulling out between seasons can ruin a narrative, so I'd like to make sure I have a reliable cast!

As for the rules...

1. Try not to overlap too much with previous contestants. I like to keep things fresh, so I won't be accepting contestants that will play out exactly the same as previous ones.

2. Make sure to put your OC's name in the title of the application, I cross reference them a lot, so it's easier to find when the names are actually visible!

3. I'll only be accepting at max 2 OCs per person. Film Lot and Reloaded were cramped as is, so I just want to keep things as fair as possible.

4. Lastly, only humans! (a bit obvious but still)

The application will be posted on my profile, and you can find more information on how the selection process and such is going on in the Discord server (code on profile), and I can't wait to see who you guys send in!
