"Last time on Total Drama Pahkitew Island..." Chris began the recap, floating with his jetpack in front of a set of trees. "We got to meet our 32 new victims and give them some time to bounce off each other before blowing up their blimp and dropping them right here! They were divided up into 3 teams and forced to build their own shelters, all to varying degrees of success. The Floating Salmon stole the show with their shelter dedicated to me, and the Fearful Owls impressed with their wizard tower proposed by Leonard! In the end, it was the practical yet basic treehouse by the Confused Bears that lost when it came to judgement. Despite how vulgar Dennis was behaving, he was able to squeeze out of it by painting Jasmine as a threat and convincing Kaito and enough people that she needed to go. Off went the possible biggest threat of the season, will another power player fall today? Or will someone that deserves to go meet their early end? Maybe both? Find out right here on Total, Drama, Paaaaaaaahkitew Island!"
Intro Sequence:
The rock tune of I Wanna Be Famous started up, with sleek cameras popping out of various places. One in front of a waterfall, another in front of a tree, one from in a river Scuba Bear was in, and one knocking a pigeon off a rock before a clapper came in.
Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doing fine, you guys are on my mind
The camera zoomed toward the island, where Topher was blocking Chris, raising his arms up to match him before Chris shoved him away, wherein Surge pushed him further aside.
You asked me what I wanted to be
Going into the woods, Violet and Samey were picking berries together when Amy came by and dumped a bucket of berries onto her sister's head. Xander clicked a photo of the incident, and when Rodney came to bring flowers to Amy, she slapped those out of his hands angrily as well.
And I think the answer is plain to see
Heading towards a hill up to a cliff, Ally was chatting about her games with Leonard and VT, with the latter reaching into Ally's pocket and taking her Gameguy, making her smirk at her catch.
I wanna beeeeee famous!
At the top of the cliff, Sugar was berating Sienna angrily, and when Ryan went to say something, Sugar shoved him over the cliff.
I wanna live close to the sun
In a tree near the bottom of the cliff, Lexus was drawing the wildlife while sitting it, then showed it to Jasmine who gave an approving nod.
So pack your bags 'cuz I've already won
Dino was pitching a tent on ground level with Scarlett, who seemed to be getting annoyed at all his ordering around, while Repsac just watched from a distance.
Everything to prove, nothing in my way, I'll get there on day
Panning down a trail, Liana and Kaito were discussing gameplay with each other when Joseph ran up to them and blurted out a joke, with only him laughing.
Cuz I wanna beeeeee famous!
Near one of the camps, Laura was tidying up the place while Shelby was arguing the futility of it, before getting shut up by Beardo imitating the theme song with just his mouth.
Na na na nana, nananana, nananana
Cutting to the beach now, Whitney was nervously searching for something, when Dennis popped up from a rock and begin to demean her, while Ludwig just stood behind him and chuckled.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!
Further down the beach, Harrison watched curiously as Max was putting some kind of machine together, but grew alarmed when Mike ran up to it with Ethel in tow and began to fiddle with it, only to make it blow up instantly.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!
The explosion turned into sparks at night, panning down to the campfire where Leonard smiled at Lexus as they sat together, before Rookie popped up between them to investigate them, startling both. The camera panned out to show the rest of the cast whistling the theme, and a sign above them with the season name before the song ended on a riff.
After the intro, the episode began on a shot of the Muskwak camp, zooming in on their treehouse. Ludwig stepped outside first and stretched for a moment, then smirked as he saw Dennis walk out behind him. "Morning. Great to be here." Ludwig greeted him.
Dennis chucked, smirking back at Ludwig. "Great to be here too boy, we got rid of that DEI casting and put ourselves in a great spot. Looking forward to working with you further sonny." Dennis patted Ludwig on the back, then walked past him to climb down the ladder.
Ludwig flinched a little from being patted, but just leaned against the railing and yawned. "I just thought it was funny." Ludwig said to himself, resting his head on his arms.
Joseph then poked out of the treehouse entrance, hurrying over to Ludwig. "You know who else is funny? JOE MAMA!" Joseph blurted out, then hurried down the ladder after Dennis.
Kaito scratched his head as he walked out after Joseph, mostly confused by his behavior. "I'm never gonna get that guy. But hey! My blindside went as planned, and we have further set ourself up for the final ceremony!" Kaito declared triumphantly.
"Final ceremony? That was the first one." Ludwig pointed out.
Kaito chuckled, putting both hands on his hips. "That's the thing, if you aren't constantly thinking about the endgame, then you definitely aren't gonna make it. Think about everyone in the past that had to fight to the end! Caleb, Mitzy, Beth, they made sure that their final opponents were as easy as possible to beat! That's why I want to propose an alliance between the two of us." Kaito then held a hand out.
Ludwig looked at his hand, just shaking it without much thought. "Sure I guess." Ludwig right away agreed.
Kaito pumped a fist afterward, then winked at Ludwig. "Awesome! I'll take you to the finale no matter what, so you can count on this paying off!" Kaito told him excitedly, then made his way down the ladder just so no one would see them talking for too long.
On the exact opposite of excited, Ryan walked out next, looking incredibly uneasy. He saw Ludwig and awkwardly waved to him, then shuddered when Sugar also stepped out of the treehouse. "Whatcha frettin for boy? Jasmine's gone and we're runnin' this 'ere show, so get comfy!" Sugar told Ryan, laughing afterward and making her way down the ladder.
-Confessional: Muskwak Tribe: Kaito-
Kaito had both hands on his hips proudly, smiling at the camera. "Last night couldn't have gone better. I established a majority vote on day one, eliminated the biggest threat in the game, and didn't even put myself on radar as a threat! Dennis and Sugar make for amazing shields, so I will be using them to the fullest. I was taught to always have plans, and I'm working that great here!"
-Confessional: Muskwak Tribe: Ryan-
Ryan crossed his arms, looking very unsure. "I don't like my position in the tribe right now. We're already off to a rough start losing our biggest challenge asset, but I was in the minority for that vote. If we lose again, it's probably me, Sienna, or Whitney getting the boot. I'll have to find a way to shake things up if I want any chance of making it to at least the jury..."
-End Confessionals-
Whitney walked out of the treehouse just as uneasy as Ryan, just giving him a passing wave before heading down the ladder to go be alone. Sienna walked out of the treehouse last, letting out a sigh. "Good morning..." Sienna greeted him.
Ryan sighed with her, looking down at the ground where most of the tribe was. "Good morning, I can't believe what happened still. I really hope we'll still be able to pull through in challenges without Jasmine."
Sienna nodded, eyeing those on the ground with more ire. "We're probably already done for. Might as well pack our bags, it was a short ride but it's better if we just accept it. I won't even get to outlast Xander..." Sienna conceded.
Ryan raised an eyebrow, shaking his head. "Now hold on, you can't just give in! So many people want to compete in this game, and you got a slot, you have to play it out! Gotta at least outlast Xander... wait, why do you want to outlast him? I know you said there was some outside problems, but are you fine elaborating?" Ryan asked her.
Sienna hesitated, before just letting it out. "He... he and many others harassed me online, leading to where I am now. That's all I want to say about it. It's not a pretty story." Sienna answered, looking down.
Ryan frowned, then gestured in the direction of the Mani Oho camp. "Well, I'm sorry that he's here, but if we have a way to get back at him during the challenge, just let me know." Ryan told her, tipping his beanie her way.
Sienna perked up a little hearing this, gaining a small smile. "Really? Thanks, glad to know I've got at least one friend here." Sienna thanked him, before walking past and heading down the ladder.
-Confessional: Muskwak Tribe: Sienna-
Sienna rubbed one arm, looking at the camera with a frown. "I honestly should have seen this coming. As soon as Jasmine left, I just felt all chances of even having a decent run fade away. My only hope now is for us to win challenges, which might give me some time to make some alliances? I just don't have much faith in that actually happening."
-End Confessional-
Over at the Kinosewak camp, Liana stepped out of the nice canvas tent Dino had put up for the tribe yesterday, letting out a yawn and rubbing her eyes. "G'morning y'all, who's ready to crush it again today!?" Liana greeted her tribe.
Outside of the tent was Dino tending a fire and cooking up some pork over it, with Scarlett and VT keeping watch over it. "We are! If we just follow my leadership and badge expertise, victory will be obtainable every day!" Dino declared.
Scarlett looked up from the fire at Dino, raising an eyebrow. "Certainly that can't be the case. You only have a limited quantity of badges on your sash, surely there are scenarios in which your scoutsmanship does not account for." Scarlett pointed out.
Dino nervously chuckled, shaking his head. "Nonsense! My badges prepare me for anything! They worked out last challenge, and they'll work out here. It's a survival game, I don't think we'll be dealing with robot mechs or anything out of my field!" Dino replied with a laugh.
Liana laughed with Dino, nudging him with her elbow. "Right attitude to have! Glad we've got you on our tribe to lead us to victory!" Liana praised him, getting an eyeroll from VT.
"You seem like the type to just let a dictator rise to power, I'd never praise someone just giving orders. It's the people that do them that actually matter." VT remarked, unimpressed by Dino.
Dino frowned at VT, but before he could say anything to her, Amy and Samey arrived, carrying handfuls of berries. "Ah! Thank you twins, I'm glad you were able to find some blueberries out here!" Dino thanked them.
Amy nodded her head, pointing at herself after handing them over. "I'm the one who found the bush they were on, so you can thank me!" Amy corrected Dino.
"Well thank you double Amy!" Dino thanked her again, giving her a quick salute.
"But... I'm the one who led us to them in the first place, you just got to the bush first." Samey corrected Amy.
"Can we just eat the berries in peace?" VT interjected, annoying by the mushy thanking.
Samey sighed as VT walked up to her and took a few berries, nodding. Violet then got out of the tent, chewing her gum as she yawned. "What's for breakfast?" Violet asked them.
"Roasted pork and blueberries. A fine source of protein as well as vitamin C and K." Scarlett informed her.
Violet rolled her eyes, gagging as she looked at the blueberries in Amy's hand when they were offered to her. "Blegh, you guys couldn't find some actual food out here? Whatever, I'll stick with just the pork then." Violet replied, sitting down next to Repsac on the log in front of the campfire, with the ghost indifferent on their meal choice.
"If you want actual food I've got some!" Surge yelled from a distance, sprinting towards the camp carrying two sticks in her hands.
As soon as Surge reached the camp, everyone looked at what she was carrying. It was some kind of meat, as well as some strawberries skewered onto the sticks. "What did you find? Is it edible?.." Samey asked, just a little concerned.
Surge nodded proudly, setting the sticks down and leaning them over the fire. "Yup! I saw an owl flying around camp, so I chased it down, killed it, and strung it's guts on the sticks here! Oh and I found some strawberries on the way back so I put those on there too!" Surge bragged, putting her hands on her hips.
"An owl? You can't just kill those!" Rookie let out, now stepping out of the tent when he heard the ruckus.
Surge pointed at herself with her thumb, smirking at Rookie. "The words you're looking for are thank you! 'Cuz I did just kill one! Those Mani Oho chumps have an owl mascot, so I just stuck one to them by killing one of their worthless birds! Eat up!" Surge further boasted, not at all bothered with killing an owl.
"As much as I'd love to eat owl intestines, I think I'll stick to blueberries." VT responded, grossed out by the sticks she brought.
No one else went for the food she brought either, angering Surge. "Seriously!? I track down an owl, kill it, and feed you guys and I don't even get a thanks! Some tribe!" Surge scolded them, then stormed off with one of the sticks angrily, eating a piece of owl meat right off it.
-Confessional: Kinosewak Tribe: Liana-
Liana had a confident smile on her face, her hands on her lap at the moment. "I made three alliances yesterday, one with Scarlett, one with VT, and one with Violet. I'll try and make three more today, but I'll see what the challenge allows me to do. Either way, I'm in a very good position and none of these guys know it!"
-Confessional: Kinosewak Tribe: Surge-
Surge groaned, putting her fists on her hips. "This tribe is the worst! They have no power, no fight, they can't even stomach some perfectly good meat! I wish we could just merge right now so I could kick all their butts in the challenge!"
-End Confessionals-
Over at the Mani Oho camp, Rodney had prepared breakfast for the tribe with the help of Sky and Harrison, being cooked chicken, coconuts, and kiwis they had found. "Nice haul guys! I didn't think there would be this much variety out here!" Lexus thanked them as Rodney took the chicken off from over the fire, while she herself was eating one of the kiwis.
Ally nodded in agreement, drinking from one of the coconuts. "In most simulation games I play, coconuts and kiwis are in entirely different areas, I guess this island is pretty unique then!" Ally added.
Shelby just shrugged, munching on a kiwi. "Does it matter what we have. It's all calories at the end of the day. Flavor is only a temporary sensation." Shelby stated pointed out, getting annoyed looks from everyone.
Mike and Ethel both had coconuts, with Mike narrowing his eyes at Shelby. "Are you ever gonna stop with the mopey crap? I'm sick of it!" Mike complained.
Shelby shrugged, crossing her arms. "I'm just being realistic. I'll stop when I'm proven wrong." Shelby stated, blankly staring back at Mike.
"Just leave her alone Mikey, some people just see things differently." Ethel urged Mike, patting his shoulder.
Mike rolled his eyes, then took another sip from his coconut. "She sees things dumb that's for sure." Mike mumbled.
Loud trumpet noises then blared near them, catching everyone's attention. "Wait when did we have trumpets? Did someone grab them from the junk pile yesterday?" Laura asked, currently sweeping their campsite when she was caught off guard by the trumpets.
Leonard then walked out of their wizard tower shelter with his hands raised, with Beardo following behind him making the trumpet noises. "Huzzah! It is I, your challenge savior! I wish you all a good morning!" Leonard greeted the tribe, then giving a thumbs up to Leonard who stopped doing the trumpet noises.
"Right, forgot he could do that..." Laura muttered, looking at Beardo.
Xander chuckled, eyeing Leonard. "Y'know, I really thought that was gonna fail, but go get it wizard boy! I don't know how it'll work next challenge, but if you can do some more goofy magic stuff that wins us challenges, then I'm all cool with this." Xander complimented Leonard.
Rodney was impressed by Leonard after yesterday, so he smiled at the wizard as well. "Same here! Can you like, shoot lightning bolts down on people and stuff? I don't really know how your magic stuff works." Rodney asked in adoration.
Leonard of course nodded, putting his hands behind his back. "Why of course! My magic knows no bounds! You'll surely see it in our next challenge as well!" Leonard declared proudly.
Sky wasn't buying it, but just gave Leonard a thumbs up. "Let's hope we see it and win then! But if you can't, then the rest of us can do our part! We're a team after all, we help each other out." Sky stated, gesturing to everyone.
Harrison nodded in agreement with her, smiling at his teammates. "Right, let's keep our spirits high going into the challenge. Half of winning is just believing you can." Harrison added confidently.
Sirens then blared through the island, but no one could really see from where. "GOOD MORNING CAMPERS! It's challenge time! Meet me at west end forest of the island pronto! Chef will guide you if you get lost so get moving!" Chris ordered everyone.
Sky clapped her hands after that, waving for everyone to follow her. "Let's get there first everyone! Gotta make a strong impression!" Sky directed her tribe, with most following her in a light jog.
-Confessional: Mani Oho Tribe: Harrison-
Harrison rested his hands on his knees, looking at the camera with a weak smile. "I am glad that our tribe rapport is strong. But at the same time, these people know that winning every single challenge is statistically impossible right? We'll have to vote someone off eventually, so I'm not getting too close to these people, that's the truth. Sky though, she's a good leader, challenge asset, and has been nice to talk to so far. I'll invest some time in her at least."
-Confessional: Mani Oho Tribe: Lexus-
Lexus let out a small groan, leaning against the confessional wall. "Everyone has been pretty cushy with each other except for Mike and Shelby, but at least that means we have a couple people we can just vote off without feeling too bad. The downside of us all hanging out is that I haven't had any time to look for the idol! Chris said there was one around each camp, so I have to somehow search for it without being seen. But everyone hangs out around camp, so that's kinda impossible!"
-End Confessionals-
On the west side of the island in the woods, Kinosewak and Mani Oho had already arrived and were waiting on green and yellow mats respectively, with Chris just waiting for Muskwak now. Chef then arrived in the clearing, with the red tribe in tow. "Kinosewak, Mani Oho, getting your first look at the new Muskwak tribe! Jasmine was voted off at the first tribal council!" Chris introduced the tribe, surprising many of the other players.
"They seriously voted for her? She seemed so strong..." Laura whispered to Rodney, who nodded in agreement, equally as confused.
Scarlett looked over the faces of the Muskwak players, trying to figure out what happened here. "Someone is definitely overplaying here..." Liana whispered to Scarlett, smirking at Jasmine's absence.
Once the Muskwak tribe took their place on the red mat, Chef stood by Chris, who chuckled at how bleak Muskwak already looked compared to the other tribes. "In hindsight, we probably should've expected the team already down in numbers from the start to lose, but it is what it is! Today's challenge will now put your rapport to the test in a coordination sense than a creative one!" Chris began to introduce the challenge.
Topher right away clapped, smiling at Chris. "What brilliant challenge have you thought up for us today? Yesterday was mostly on us, so this one is definitely gonna be crazy!" Topher hyped up the challenge, not even knowing what it was.
Chris accepted the hype, smiling at back at his fan. "Thank you Topher! If you guys look up, you'll see three tree forts! Each of them are equipped with three cannons that fire bowling balls that no one took from the junk pile yesterday!" Chris said while pointing up.
Everyone looked up in the clearing, seeing the three wooden forts he was talking about, each about 50 feet apart in a triangle formation with a rope ladder hanging from each of them. Each fort had a 2 person wide balcony wrapping around them with the actual forts being the size of a tool shed. "Bowling balls? How fast is this stuff being launched? That could like, kill someone!" Kaito right away pointed out, sounding scared.
Chris gave a wave of dismissal, not taking it seriously. "Don't worry, they don't shoot that fast. Just enough for it to really hurt if you get hit! But you're not the targets, so don't worry!" Chris assured the player.
"What are we shooting at then? Is this like a target practice challenge in shooter games? I'm so good at those!" Ally asked, excited for the challenge.
Chris pointed up at the forts again, then smashed his other hand in the one pointing. "You guys will be trying to destroy the forts of the other two tribes! Whichever team's fort goes down and all their players are out of their tree will have to see me for tribal council tonight! You'll find the bowling balls inside the fort itself, there's more than enough to take down both forts in your supply, so don't worry!" Chris explained the challenge.
Dennis chuckled, looking at the other two tribes. "So it's just a test of who has the best aim right? Seems simple enough, I'm a pretty good shot back at the shooting range, I'm sure the wokies will struggle since they're terrified of guns!" Dennis boasted in advance.
Chris nodded his head, walking over to the center of the triangle formed by the three forts, where a plastic dome was waiting for him. "It's a test of aim and team coordination! You'll have to work well together to gather ammo, load the cannons, and fire, all faster than your opponents! Get in your colored tree fort and we can get started!" Chris directed the tribes, with each of the forts having either a red, green, or yellow roof.
-Confessional: Mani Oho Tribe: Ally-
Ally pumped both fists in the air, very excited to compete. "Day 2 and we've already got a challenge perfect for me! Aiming with cannons at multiple targets is just like aiming the cannons on the cars in Fortnite, I am so ready for this!"
-End Confessional-
All three tribes soon had all their members in their forts, now making game plans for how to tackle the challenge while Chef took down the rope ladders. With the Kinosewak tribe, everyone was already looking to Dino for direction. "What's the plan Dino? I know you've got something cooking up there!" Rookie asked Dino enthusiastically.
Dino did a quick scan of who he had, quickly coming up with a plan. "Alright, Amy, Samey, Surge, Topher, you four will gather up ammo while Rookie and Liana man cannon 1, Violet and VT handle cannon 2, and then Repsac and Scarlett take care of cannon 3!" Dino listed out the positions.
"Wait, who said you were in charge!?" Surge protested right away, glaring at Dino.
"He led us to victory last time, don't need to fix what isn't broken as they say." Topher commented casually.
Dino nodded in agreement, then pointed at a sash that had a soldier hat on it. "I have my siege badge from my weekend trip to catapult camp with the scouts, so I'm more well equipped to handle this!" Dino added, cementing his qualification.
Surge clenched both fists, marching right up to Dino. "Oh yeah!? Well I was co-captain for my track team, and I'm much more hardened for battle than you'll ever be chump, I've got this!" Surge argued.
Dino looked down at her and held both hands up defensively, still smiling. "Hey hey, we don't need to turn this into a big thing, we can just work as a team and- ACK!" Dino yelled as Surge then uppercutted him in the chin, sending him flying over the balcony and back down to the grass below.
Surge dusted her hands off after that, smirking at the rest of her tribe. "We're gonna do things MY way, anyone got a problem with that!?" Surge yelled at them.
"You just put us down a player, a very good one at that!" Rookie objected, looking over the balcony to make sure Dino was okay.
Surge gave a wave of dismissal, then jeered toward the Muskwak fort. "They're down two players, we're still up so shut it! I'll man one of the cannons myself, Amy and Samey will work one, and VT and Rookie work the third one! The rest of you, Violet, Repsac, Scarlett, Topher, and Liana, you guys are on ammo duty! That's that! Make sure to bring ME my ammo first!" Surge ordered, prompting everyone to hurry into place.
-Confessional: Kinosewak Tribe: Surge-
Surge crossed her arms, proudly smirking at the camera. "And THAT'S how you let them know who's in charge! There's a million idea guys out there, but there's only a few people like me who actually get things done!"
-Confessional: Kinosewak Tribe: Samey-
Samey shuddered, looking at the camera with fear. "I think I found someone scarier than Amy... okay I don't really mean that."
-End Confessionals-
At the Muskwak fort, Kaito watched Dino go down with a confused look, then turned to the others. "Ohhhhkay, not sure what's going on over there but maybe we've got a better shot at being coordinated then!" Kaito remarked happily.
Ryan looked at one of the cannons, then at the two forts ahead of them. "Hmm, so it'll definitely be fastest if we just bring all the supply out to the balcony right? That way we don't have to have people running back and forth." Ryan suggested.
Dennis nodded in agreement, grabbing a couple of the bowling balls and setting them down next to one of the cannons. "Makes sense to me! I'll take this 'ere cannon, Joseph, you load it for me! I don't care what the rest of you do. Just don't get between me and my shots." Dennis commanded, with Joseph getting right to it.
"You know who might get between you and your shot? JOE MAMA!" Joseph joked, laughing hysterically afterward.
While they brought out some of the bowling balls, Sienna set two of them down next to one of the cannons, then waved at Ryan. "Hey, did you want to help me fire this one? I'm not too good at carrying stuff, so this is more my lane." Sienna asked him.
Ryan nodded, loading one of the bowling balls into it. "Sure thing, gives me an excuse to not be near the others." Ryan accepted, getting a chuckle out of both of them.
Max marched up to their third cannon, rubbing his hands together. "And I shall operate this device of doom! We'll have them begging for mercy in minutes! Bwahaha!" Max laughed evilly, although he struggled to actually load the cannon.
Sugar reached around and shoved one of the bowling balls in, laughing with him. "Yer a funny one! Unleash your DOOM on 'em or whatever!" Sugar complimented him, although he was a bit annoyed with how she mimicked his voice.
Whitney brought out two cannonballs and set them down next to Ryan and Sienna's cannon, then walked past Ludwig to go get more. "I guess we're on a-ammo duty..." Whitney told him.
"Whatever dude." Ludwig responded, bringing bowling balls to Dennis's cannon, irking Whitney further.
-Confessional: Muskwak Tribe: Ludwig-
Ludwig chuckled, resting his head on his palms. "It's funny calling him dude, definitely gets under his skin. I've got people that want to keep me around for some reason, so it's not like there's consequences."
-End Confessional-
At the Mani Oho fort, Mike right away grabbed onto one of the cannons, tapping it and then pointing at himself. "This one is MINE! I've blasted away so many scumbags in Halo, this'll be a piece of cake!" Mike boasted.
Ally did the same, patting one of the cannons. "I've got great trajectory for this too from all the games I've played, better than Mike's for sure. So you can trust me to do this!" Ally assured her tribe.
Leonard was pleased with how eager both were to shoot, so he just gave them both a thumbs up. "Marvelous! Two sharpshooters who know what they're doing! Maintain your stations then, for Shelby and Lexus will be loading your cannons! Harrison and Xander, thee shall be in charge of firing the last cannon! The rest of us shall fetch your ammunition, while Beardo is our war bard!" Leonard doled out their roles.
"War bard? How is that going to help?" Lexus asked, confused what that meant.
Leonard smirked, walking over to Beardo and patting his shoulder. "By replicating the sound of cannons firing, it shall instill fear in our foes and make them act irrationally! In their moment of weakness we strike!" Leonard explained, with Beardo mouthing the sound as to not give away their strategy to the other tribes just yet.
Sky's eyes widened, looking actually amazed. "Wow, that's a pretty good strategy! When did you come up with that?" Sky asked him.
"Oh Sky, when you've been through as many castle sieges as I have, you understand battle tactics quite well!" Leonard answered proudly.
-Confessional: Mani Oho Tribe: Laura-
Laura giggled, resting her hands on her lap. "I misjudged Leonard, he's got his quirks and is very dedicated, but he's got a smart head on his shoulder! I'm glad he's on our team."
-End Confessional-
With all three tribes prepared, Chris pulled out an air horn, poking it out of his plastic dome for just a moment. "Alright campers, your prep time is now over, and this challenge is officially underway!" Chris began the challenge, then ringing the air horn.
"TAKE POSITIONS NOW!" Surge, Dennis, and Leonard all ordered at once, prompting all their members to get going.
Samey and Rookie quickly loaded up cannons with bowling balls, with Amy and VT firing when Surge commanded them to. Muskwak already had bowling balls in theirs, so Dennis, Max, and Sienna fired in different directions right away. Shelby hardly tried but still loaded Mike's cannon while Lexus was quicker loading Ally's. They fired, and after Harrison fired, they could already see three bowling balls, two red and one green flying their way.
"Incoming! Hit the deck!" Sky called out, ducking behind the balcony railing.
The bowling balls flew overhead, two of them smashing through their walls while one completely missed. "Woah, those do a lot of damage! We need to hit our mark fast then!" Ally exclaimed, beckoning for Lexus to reload the cannon.
Dennis furrowed his brows as his shot had missed, but he still knew to just duck as he saw four bowling balls, two green and two yellow heading their way. "Are they ganging up on us!? Seriously!?" Kaito let out as he hurried back into the fort to take shelter.
Ryan and Sienna ducked as one was heading their way, but this just led to Whitney taking a bowling ball to the stomach, knocking her back and over the balcony. "EEEEK!" she screamed as she fell down, hitting the ground with a crunch.
Two of the other bowling balls took chunks out of their roof, and the last one missed. Ludwig stepped out of the fort with two more bowling balls in his hands, chuckling as he looked over the balcony. "Heh, lost our least useful guy, we're fine." Ludwig commented, then fist bumped Dennis as he loaded the cannon.
-Confessional: Muskwak Tribe: Whitney-
Whitney slumped over in the confessional, rubbing her belly. "I s-should've expected that I'd get out first... worst part, n-now I can't even control if we win and they get to just vote me off if t-they want!"
-End Confessional-
At the Kinosewak fort, Surge backflipped over the bowling ball that was heading her way, with it just smashing through the balcony and creating a small hole in it. "Pff, gonna need better aim than that!" Surge taunted the other tribes, although they couldn't hear her.
VT saw one of the bowling balls was heading her way, so she silently sidestepped, letting Scarlett take the hit to the face and knock her back into and over the balcony railing. "Make sure tooooo-" was all the tribe could hear Scarlett yell at them before she fell out of hearing range.
"Dang, that sounded important. We'll have to just carry on without her then." Rookie said solemnly.
"Eh, probably wasn't gonna be helpful anyway." VT remarked as Rookie reloaded their cannon.
"You still could've given her a heads up!" Rookie scolded her, not liking how casual VT was about it.
VT held up both hands defensively, before just pulling the rope to fire their cannon again. "Oh yeah, next time something is hurling at me at crazy speed I'll let Scarlett know, oh wait." VT replied sarcastically, still not caring that much.
"NO TIME FOR JOKES! KEEP FIRING!" Surge ordered, firing her own cannon herself.
-Confessional: Kinosewak Tribe: VT-
VT had her hands in her hoodie pocket, looking annoyed. "Yeesh, these people are so uptight. Trying to crack a joke so we're not just miserable up here but clearly they don't like that."
-End Confessional-
Over with the Mani Oho fort, panic set in as they saw four bowling balls now flying their way from the second round of shots. "Duck again! This won't be pretty though!" Sky directed everyone, diving into a plank position on the balcony.
"Not if I can help it!" Rodney declared, running out of the fort and holding both arms out.
Xander was confused by what Rodney was trying, but didn't bother to question it. "Yeah whatever you say big chump." Xander went along with it, standing behind Rodney.
One of the bowling balls soared just below the fort, and the other three slammed into Rodney's body one after the other, with the last one hitting his face. "Rodney are you okay!?" Laura asked him, rushing to his aid after the balls were deflected.
"Neber been vetter!" Rodney blurted out, before stumbling backward and falling over the railing.
Mike rolled his eyes as he watched Rodney fall down. "Hope being a meat shield was worth saving us a round of protection. Whatever, just glad it wasn't me, sucker!" Mike remarked, getting a slap upside the head from Ally.
"Why are you like this." Shelby asked curiously.
"Oh he's just a little excited from the cannon shooting that's all!" Ethel dismissed Shelby, helping her load the next bowling ball into the cannon.
Leonard nodded, rubbing his chin. "Keep that excitement and fire further! If you strike their cannons, then they won't be able to shoot! They'll be completely defenseless!" Leonard commanded, pointing at the cannons on the balconies.
"Understood, locking in!" Ally replied dutifully, then pulled the cord to fire after taking aim.
Dennis groaned as he saw nothing actually hit Mani Oho's fort. He glared at Sienna and Ryan, who had failed to deal any damage so far. "Quit aiming at their men! Destroy their fort and they all go down anyway!" Dennis scolded them, before firing another shot at Kinosewak's fort.
Sienna looked a little sheepish being called out, but Ryan leaned in to whisper. "So you're still totally aiming for Xander right?" Ryan asked her with a smirk.
Sienna smirked back at him, feeling a little more confident. "Now that Rodney isn't guarding him, we should be good to do just that!" Sienna whispered back, before pulling the cord to fire.
Max was still aiming at the Kinosewak fort, laughing as he did so. "Die! Cease to exist! You'll face your dues at my wicked blows!" Max yelled with delight as he pulled the cord.
Sugar couldn't stop laughing though, patting him on the head after he fired. "Keep goin'! Threaten 'em more! It's a riot!" Sugar begged him, making Max drop his excitement and groan.
-Confessional: Muskwak Tribe: Max-
Max crossed his arms, glaring at the camera. "Sugar doesn't take me seriously as a threat, her mistake, for I am the one who controls the fate of our opponents. They are under MY mercy! Mwahahaha!"
-End Confessional-
At the Kinosewak fort, Topher put his arms over his head as he saw two bowling balls from Muskwak and one from Mani Oho flying right toward them. "Another wave incoming! I can't let them wreck my hair!" he cried out as he hurried into the storage shed to protect himself.
Liana followed Topher into the shed, while everyone else ducked out of the way on the deck. One ball completely missed, while another one slammed into Repsac and sent the ghost flying over the rail. He didn't make a sound as he did so though, surprising Samey. "He's got some serious pain tolerance..." Samey muttered as she was laying down on the balcony floor.
Just after Samey said that though, the third bowling ball smashed into her and Amy's cannon, taking out a chunk of the balcony with it and sending the cannon itself down to the ground. "What was that Samey!? You got our cannon destroyed!" Amy right away blamed Samey.
"B-But we couldn't even move it!" Samey pointed out.
Amy scoffed, glaring at Samey. "You're arguing with me now? Oh you are so asking to be put in your place!" Amy yelled, clenching both fists.
"Sorry, I didn't mean it!" Samey right away gave in, holding up both hands.
"That's what I thought." Amy replied curtly, crossing her arms.
Violet peered over the balcony down at their fallen cannon, then looked at the remaining two they had. "Well what now? We only got two to work with!" Violet asked Surge, who just fired her cannon at Mani Oho.
"Bring even more ammo for ours! We can't slow down! MOVE!" Surge ordered, making Violet roll her eyes as she hurried into the shed.
Violet came right back out with two bowling balls in her hands, confusing Rookie a bit while VT took aim with their cannon. "That's odd, I thought Topher and Liana were gathering ammo in there already." Rookie pondered.
"Who cares what does what? We've got our ammo and I've got a good line on these chumps, just fire!" VT replied, pointing forward with a smirk.
Rookie nodded and fired, saving his train of thought for later. Inside the shed, Topher was holding two bowling balls now while Liana stood in front of him. "So what exactly are you proposing? Every talent guru says that you need to know the deets before you sign onto projects." Topher asked her.
Liana smiled, gesturing to Topher. "An alliance, just between the two of us. You're likeable and attractive, which might make you a target down the line. I enjoy having you around though, I consider you my number one in fact, so I propose we work together to keep each other safe." Liana proposed.
Topher thought for a second, before just nodding. "Yeah, sounds good! Chris likes seeing alliances go down for the ratings, so I'm all for it! Gotta go though!" Topher agreed to the alliance, then hurried out with his ammo in hand.
-Confessional: Kinosewak Tribe: Liana-
Liana held up four fingers, winking at the camera. "That's four people in my pocket! One more and I just outright control a majority of the tribe! I won't stop at five though, you can never have too many links!"
-End Confessional-
At the Mani Oho fort, Ally celebrated as she watched one of the Kinosewak cannons fall to the ground. "Yes! Killshot! They won't be a problem anymore!" Ally cheered proudly.
Mike groaned, looking at Ally. "Big deal, you hit a cannon, we still need to win the challenge! And how do we win? Destroying their fort!" Mike argued.
"Oh you're just jealous I got a good hit in, keep crying." Ally retorted while Beardo imitated the sound of a siren as bowling balls came soaring their way.
Lexus loaded up Ally's cannon as he did this, and didn't have enough time to move as the bowling ball from Kinosewak smashed into her face and knocked her through part of their fort wall and flying down to the ground. "Lexus! No! Good heavens, we are losing units left and right!" Leonard cried out as he saw Lexus fall.
Xander laughed, once again glad it wasn't him. "She should've listened to Beardo, her loss!" Xander remarked while Harrison loaded his cannon.
His laughing didn't last long though, as a bowling ball from Muskwak then smashed into his stomach, making him hit the railing and tumble over it. "Oh god damnIIIITTT!" Xander yelled as he plummeted.
"At least he didn't take any of our fort with him?" Laura tried to stay optimistic, taking Xander's place as she aimed the cannon right back at Muskwak while Harrison finished loading it.
Seeing that Laura was getting nervous, Harrison patted her shoulder. "Hey hey, take it easy. Chris assured our safety, and if we keep a level head, we'll be less likely to get hit." Harrison assured her.
Laura took a deep breath and nodded, smiling at Harrison. "Right. Let's win this thing!" Laura replied confidently, then pulled the cord to fire it.
At the Muskwak fort, Sienna got a little giddy as she watched Xander fall, high-fiving Ryan. "Yes! We got him!" Sienna cheered.
Ryan gave two thumbs ups, then quickly began to load their cannon. "Yup! You got that one over him at least!" Ryan cheered with her.
Dennis didn't approve though, marching over to the two of them. "And what do you think you're doing! You're not damaging their fort, and you keep going for the same target! We're barely making any progress!" Dennis scolded them.
Sienna began to stammer when confronted, stepping back. "Well, we were just trying to- umm, we needed Xander to..." she stammered sheepishly.
"If we keep going for the same target, then won't the other team notice and join us in just attacking one team? Then it becomes a 2v1!" Ryan interjected, making Sienna sigh with relief.
Dennis narrowed his eyes, before nodding. "Muskwak! Change of plans! Aim all your fire at Kinosewak They're only got two cannons! Don't stop firing at them only!" Dennis ordered.
Max nodded, grinning as he took aim at the green fort. "Dastardly, a barrage of attacks that will force them to succumb to our might! Mwahaha!" Max laughed as he then pulled his cord to fire.
Sugar loaded his cannon back up after that, with Kaito and Ludwig bringing out more ammo for the others. "It's a little weird that he's so enthusiastic about hurting people..." Kaito commented.
"Who cares? It's funny!" Sugar dismissed Kaito's concern, laughing evilly with Max.
Joseph grabbed ammo from Kaito and loaded it into Dennis's cannon, grinning at Kaito. "You know who else is really enthusiastic about hurting people? JOE MAMA!" Joseph shouted, bursting out laughing on the balcony floor afterward, getting an apathetic look from Ludwig who stepped over him and just confusing Kaito.
-Confessional: Muskwak Tribe: Kaito-
Kaito rubbed one arm, a little unnerved. "So these guys are kind of weird... but hey, that means they're easier target if we do end up losing again. I've got a good foothold right now, sticking by Dennis is gonna shield me for a while, and I just need to work an angle with Sugar as well, since she seems like a big personality for the tribe. Always staying one step ahead!"
-End Confessional-
Back at the Kinosewak fort, Surge had just fired her cannon at Muskwak while VT fired her and Rookie's cannon at Mani Oho. Amy and Samey hurried to bring them more ammo, but as they did so, Violet squinted at Muskwak's fort before growing alarmed. "Um, guys!? They fired all three of their cannons at us!" Violet exclaimed, pointing ahead.
Seeing both Muskwak's fire, along with two more bowling balls flying towards them from Mani Oho, Amy grabbed Samey and held her in front of her. "Protect my face!" Amy cried out.
"Hey! What about my fa-OWW!" Samey yelled in pain as she was hit, knocking both her and her sister over the balcony since Amy was holding onto her tight.
Another bowling ball smashed through their balcony, creating a sizeable hole between the two cannons. "Great, just great!" VT complained stepping over it as she went to load Rookie's cannon.
"How is that great!? We're losing people and parts in case you didn't notice!" Surge yelled at VT.
"Jeez, I was being sarcastic. You've got bigger problems anyway." VT defended herself, then ducked as a bowling ball flew over her head.
Topher hurried out of the shed with more bowling balls since Amy and Samey were no longer available to gather ammo, holding them out to Surge as he approached. "Got more ammo! We've gotta shoot faaaAAAAAST!" Topher didn't get to finish as he walked right over the hole, plummeting down and bringing the bowling balls with him.
Liana winced as he fell, holding a bowling ball herself. "YOU! Get more ammo, I'll keep firing!" Surge demanded, to which Liana nodded and handed over the ball she was holding, then hurried back inside the shed to get more.
The Mani Oho tribe witnessed the damage they were dealing, pleased with the progress. "Woah! Muskwak didn't fire any of their shots us!" Sky let out, seeing the barrage of 5 bowling balls put a serious dent in Kinosewak.
"They must have some kind of issue with Muskwak I'm guessing. Either that or us taking out one of their cannons made them easy targets." Harrison guessed, rubbing his chin.
Only one bowling ball flew their way from VT and Rookie's cannon, which smashed through their shed and knocked over their stack of bowling balls. Some of them rolled out onto the balcony and fell down, while the others were caught by the members outside. "Should we just go all in on those suckers like how Muskwak is then? Makes our job easier!" Mike asked Leonard.
"Yeah, we might aggro Muskwak if we target them, let's keep our fire to Kinosewak." Ally added, already taking aim.
Leonard nodded, putting his hands behind his back. "For now, a truce with Muskwak is in order! Hail ye, smite our verdant opponents down!" Leonard commanded, with Sky, Shelby, and Laura loading up Mike, Ally, and Harrison's cannons in unison before they then fired.
-Confessional: Mani Oho Tribe: Sky-
Sky looked a bit unsure, crossing her arms. "Ganging up on one team isn't very sportsmanlike, but Chris didn't say we couldn't do that. I just hope Kinosewak doesn't hold this against us..."
-End Confessional-
Things at the Kinosewak fort grew even more dire as they now saw 6 bowling balls flying their way. "I got even more ammo, let's load this up fast before they shoot again!" Violet exclaimed as she carried more out from the fort.
Just as Violet was about to hand her ammo off to Surge though, a bowling ball crashed into her shoulder, sending her spinning and flying over the balcony screaming. "How many people do we even have left!? Just me, VT, Liana, and you!" Rookie counted off, looking at Surge.
Surge now began to grow concerned at their dwindling numbers. "Okay, we can save this! I'll gather up more ammo, Liana you take control of the cannon while I do so, VT and Rookie, you two can GAAAH!" Surge was caught off guard as she got hit in the back by a bowling ball while giving her commands, getting knocked over the balcony and plummeting down.
"Guess I'll use the cannon then..." Liana muttered, grabbing the cord and firing it toward Muskwak
Rookie and VT exchanged a look, before VT just loaded up their cannon. "Why couldn't you have gotten taken out earlier..." Rookie mumbled.
"Right back at you." VT replied, covering her ears as Rookie pulled the cord and fired toward Mani Oho.
At the Muskwak fort, they were elated to see just how effective their strategy was now going. "They're down to three people! And it seems Mani Oho isn't firing at us! Bravo tribe!" Kaito praised the others, carrying out more ammo.
The one bowling ball fired at them by Liana harmlessly flew over, giving them easy access to just load their cannons. "Lemme fire this one! I wanna give it a go!" Sugar demanded, pushing Max aside.
Max rolled his eyes, but let it go. "Fine. But only because I already got my wicked evil shots in! Your shots can only pale in comparison to my true EVIL!" Max declared, making Sugar laugh as she took aim.
Ryan saw Max getting frustrated with Sugar further and rubbed his chin, then leaned over to Sienna. "We need to pull over numbers for next time we lose, do you think Max is an option? He doesn't seem to like the guys he voted with last night..." Ryan whispered.
Sienna took aim with their cannon, thinking about it. "Maybe... he doesn't seem like he could be easily swayed into helping us though. I don't see how we get out of this." Sienna replied, doubting their chances.
Ryan sighed, then just began to load their cannon again. "I guess you're right. I was just thinking out loud." Ryan told her as he loaded it.
-Confessional: Muskwak Tribe: Ryan-
Ryan slumped over a little, frowning at the camera. "Sienna is sweet, but she isn't all too game savvy. Now that we're in a bad position, she thinks we're just going to stay there. But I'm thinking up all kinds of angles to save myself and hopefully her too! Next vote, I'll be in the majority, I can promise you that."
-End Confessional-
At the Kinosewak fort, the three remaining were once again greeted by the threat of 6 more bowling balls. VT ended up getting hit right away, tumbling over the balcony. "Heh, guess she had that coming." Rookie remarked.
Another bowling ball crashed through the roof of their shed, following by another breaking their railing. "How the heck are we supposed to win this!?" Liana asked Rookie, ducking under the fourth bowling ball.
"I don't know! They're both targeting us!" Rookie yelled back, firing his cannon one last time before he too got smacked in the face by a bowling ball and fell down to the ground.
Seeing as she was the only one left, Liana covered her head as she hit the deck for a moment, waiting for the fire to pass before she got back up. Just one problem, it wasn't. Both Muskwak and Mani Oho were fully committed to wrecking their fort. "Crap! These odds are essentially impossible! Only one thing left to do..." Liana complained, weighing her options.
Liana then just jumped down from the balcony instead of getting hit, giving up entirely. When she landed on the ground near her fallen comrades, Chris blew his air horn. "Game over! With a brutal onslaught from Muskwak and Mani Oho, Kinosewak will be attending tribal council tonight!" Chris declared that the challenge was over.
The players left on Mani Oho were shocked at how quick that went, but still celebrated nonetheless. "Woo! Safe again! We are so the team to beat!" Sky cheered.
"Now that's what I call an epic gamer move!" Ally declared, fist bumping Laura.
Mike cheered as well, with Ethel clapping beside him. "YEAH! We blew those guys to bits!" Mike cheered excitedly.
Beardo imitated the Halo victory theme, with Leonard nodding in approval at the tribe's success. "Just another marvel in battle tactics from yours truly!" Leonard boasted, tipping his wizard hat.
At Muskwak, the tribe cheered as well, albeit not as togetherly as Mani Oho. "Way to go men, under my leadership instead of that DEI hire, we actually won." Dennis praised the tribe.
"Yeah, I'm glad we were able to rebound from yesterday. Good job everyone!" Kaito praised everyone as well, ignoring the dodgy words from Dennis.
Max patted his cannon, smirking at the Kinosewak members down on the forest floor. "They stood no chance against our brilliant strategy! That'll teach them to test us, bwahaha!" Max stated in triumph.
"Whatever you say evil boy! Keep it comin'!" Sugar agreed with Max, just annoying him further.
-Confessional: Muskwak Tribe: Dennis-
Dennis had a proud smile, both hands on his hips. "As expected, when you let a cis man with plenty of experience under his belt in authority run things, we dominate. We only lost James during the challenge and he's already our fodder. Even though Sienna doesn't like me, she still performed as I ordered, that's a sign of respect!"
-End Confessional-
Chris walked over to the fallen Kinosewak members, most of whom were still writhing in pain from being hit and falling, smiling down at them. "Kinosewak, you guys couldn't keep it together up there so now you're down here. And soon you'll be down one player when I see you tonight. Medical is ready if you need it, buuuuut I don't think that'll be necessary. See you tonight!" Chris told Kinosewak, then walked away with Chef while they gathered their bearings.
Dino helped up Rookie and VT, while Surge picked herself up and marched right over to Liana. "How could you just give up like that!? You were our last hope!" Surge scolded Liana.
Liana shrugged, not having any regret for jumping down. "We had two working cannons, and both tribes were shooting at me, the odds were essentially impossible. What did you want me to do?" Liana asked back skeptically.
"Have a sense of fight, some actual dignity to finish the damn challenge! None of us took the cowardly way out! You should go home just for that!" Surge yelled at Liana, then stormed off.
Scarlett looked over at Liana as Surge walked past her, letting out a sigh. "I would have done the same for the record. It's a waste of energy and avoiding an injury is better for the long term rather than staying up there and fighting a futile battle." Scarlett commented.
"Thanks, glad I have friends I can count on." Liana thanked Scarlett, walking with her back to camp.
VT saw how glum everyone was over the loss and chuckled, holding out one hand. "Hey, on the bright side, we didn't spend a bunch of time up there just to lose. We lost pretty quickly! It's like a painless death than a slow drawn out one." VT remarked.
"I almost got shot in the face! How is that nice!?" Amy yelled at VT.
"I did get shot in the face." Samey mumbled.
Violet just got up and shot a glare at VT as she walked past her while rubbing her shoulder. "Can you just cram it!? We all took bowling ball hits, not in the mood for this!" Violet snapped at VT, then kept walking.
-Confessional: Kinosewak Tribe: VT-
VT groaned, leaning against the confessional wall. "Wow, would it kill them to just let me try and uplift the mood around here? Rookie was being a pain, but I don't think I can pull any votes on him. I've got my alliance with Liana so she's not a target, heck I might just go for Violet since she's annoying me."
-End Confessional-
Back at Kinosewak's camp, Surge was eating more owl meat from her stick, with VT, Rookie, Scarlett, and Dino all having given in to eating some as well. Dino had already gotten their fire going again, and was tending to Samey's wound, wrapping a makeshift bandage around her jaw made of leftover canvas from their tent. "Thanks a lot Dino..." Samey thanked him weakly.
Dino gave a quick salute, smiling at her. "It's no problem! Just looking out for my tribemates!" Dino replied, making Samey smile back at him faintly.
"Wish we had you up there with us. It would have increased our probability of winning." Scarlett commented.
"Gee, wonder whose fault that is." VT muttered, looking up at Surge.
Surge glanced at VT at the slight, but didn't say anything back. "Whatever, we need to decide who we're voting out tonight! I say Liana, she quit and wasn't helpful at all! She's all talk and no work!" Surge suggested.
"For the sake of not starting an argument, I'll agree with that." Rookie agreed with the suggestion.
VT and Scarlett both sat up at the idea though, Scarlett right away shaking her head. "I'd advise against that. This was simply not a mental challenge, and that's Liana's strong suit. Furthermore, she still lasted longer than any of us up there. She has proved her worth." Scarlett argued.
"Yeahhh, what the brainiac said. I ain't voting for Liana either. Dino, Samey, you wanna talk about this in private?" VT asked the other two sitting with them.
"In private? Sure?" Samey agreed, standing up hesitantly and following Dino as he followed VT.
As they left, Scarlett got up as well. "I'm going to take a walk and think about it as well." Scarlett stated, leaving Surge and Rookie at the campfire.
"What the heck are they up to!?" Surge asked Rookie as they left, confused as to what made them all vacate.
"Hmm, I'll have to do some investigation into this, but as it stands. I think we should vote for VT. She's already a slacker and annoying, but she's leading people into vote talks. So I don't think we can trust her." Rookie stated.
Surge nodded, then took a bite of owl meat from her stick. "Fine by me. As long as we keep the tribe strong." Surge agreed to voting VT.
-Confessional: Kinosewak Tribe: Samey-
Samey was a little giddy, still having one hand on her jaw. "Wow, it feels nice to actually be invited to talk about something without Amy. I mean, VT isn't that nice or anything, but it feels good to be acknowledged!"
-End Confessional-
In the woods, Liana was talking to Repsac in private, smiling at the ghost as he seemed to be receptive. "So yeah, I just think you've got great vibes and an alliance just between the two of us will be very beneficial." Liana proposed.
"Alright. I'm in." Repsac bluntly replied, staring right back at Liana, although she couldn't read his face.
Scarlett then approached the both of them, raising an eyebrow at Liana talking to Repsac. "Am I interrupting something?" Scarlett asked them.
Liana shook her head, smiling at Scarlett. "Nope! Just chatting about the vote! We were thinking about going for Samey. No one really likes her, Amy is pushing for her to go, and she's not particularly helpful." Liana told her.
Scarlett adjusted her glasses, looking back for a moment to make sure no one else was around. "Surge and Rookie threw your name out. I tried to dissuade the group, but you need to watch out for them." Scarlett warned Liana.
Liana's eyes widened a little, but she nodded in understanding. "Thanks for the heads up, I'll do some campaigning then. I'll let you know the vote is on before we go to tribal council." Liana thanked Scarlett, then hurried off.
Once Liana left, Scarlett faced Repsac, who was just kinda standing there. "What about you? Where do you stand in this game?" Scarlett asked him.
Repsac just blankly stared back, unsure what to say. "Fine. I'm just a ghost. No one sees me really." Repsac answered.
Scarlett leaned forward, trying to peer into Repsac's costume a little. "Hmm. I could take what you said as a metaphor. You're off everyone's radar at the moment. I'll keep an eye on you though." Scarlett told him, somewhat curious.
"Alright then." Repsac responded, then just walked past Scarlett.
-Confessional: Kinosewak Tribe: Scarlett-
Scarlett had both hands in her lap, smiling at the camera. "I am playing a very under the radar game right now. I would prefer if more outspoken scholarly archetypes such as Liana stuck around in the game because it gives me a bigger shield to hide behind. There are plenty of people who are making themselves big names on this tribe, for better or worse, but them putting themselves out there just makes it easier for me to go for them when the time comes."
-End Confessional-
Later that night, the 11 members of the Pimapotew Kinosewak walked up to the elimination area, most of them just tired from the challenge and ready to get this over with. Liana had a small smirk as she walked in, while Amy was glaring at Samey as they sat down, making a throat slitting motion at her. Chris watched as they sat down on the tree stumps, standing on the other side of the fire. "Welcome to your first tribal council! Small change of scenery from how we usually do these but we hope you enjoy!" Chris greeted them.
In the front row of stumps sat Dino, Samey, Amy, Topher, and Surge while in the back row sat Repsac, Scarlett, Liana, VT, Violet, and Rookie. "Both a lack of cooperation on your part, and cooperation from the other tribes is what brought you here tonight. For this season, you'll cast your vote for who you want to see leave in the voting urn after folding your parchment in half once you leave the confessional." Chris explained the process since it was their first time.
Chris then sat down on his tree stump, eyeing the players. "So, let's begin with comradery and tribe spirit. Topher, how well do you think this tribe is gelling?" Chris asked his protege.
Topher rubbed his chin, looking over his tribemates for a moment. "Hmm, tough call, but on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give us a seven! Sure you've got some people who don't like each other, but when led right like in our first challenge we work great." Topher answered.
Chris nodded, then looked over at Scarlett. "Being led right, what does that mean to you Scarlett? Care to explain what Topher might mean by that?" Chris asked her.
Scarlett nodded, adjusting her glasses. "I believe he's referring to Dino's brilliant leadership in the first challenge, which led to a more than effective shelter and a monument to you which won our challenge. Surge's on the other hand was ineffective, messy, and required her to take out Dino from the challenge to get that position." Scarlett explained.
"Oh don't pin that on me! The other two tribes ganged up on us! What did you expect us to do to recover from that!?" Surge argued.
Liana chuckled, looking at Surge. "Well what did you want me to do when it was just me?" Liana retorted.
Before Surge could snap further, Chris moved on to the next question. "Seems we've got animosity on this tribe, Violet, has this been an ongoing problem?" Chris asked her.
Violet stopped chewing for a second and crossing her arms, nodding her head. "Yep! There's so many annoying people here! Amy and Samey don't like each other, VT and Rookie squabbled during the challenge, Surge is aggressive toward everyone, actually I don't think anyone likes VT, her sarcasm is just annoying." Violet told Chris, getting some dirty looks sent her way.
"Wow tell us how you really feel." VT replied sarcastically.
Rookie rolled his eyes, then narrowing them at VT. "She's got a point. Working with you the whole challenge was just annoying." Rookie agreed with Violet.
"Samey should just do what I say and we wouldn't fight either, it's that simple." Amy added, leering at Samey.
Chris held back his laughter, enjoying the spontaneous arguments. "You guys fell apart so quickly! Love to see it. But now it's time to vote! Dino, you're up first!" Chris stated, with Dino getting up from his seat.
Dramatic music then played as Dino walked down the path to the confessional, taking quick strides as he did so. He wrote the name he wanted quickly, and put it right into the urn to make his way back.
The fire flared as Liana went to cast her vote, still having a smirk on her face. "If only people knew what kind of power I hold in this game, then they'd just work with me instead." she said as she then put her vote in the urn.
Rookie went up a bit later, groaning as he wrote down the name. "Surprisingly not my first target, but I need to vote for someone people will actually vote for."
Violet went up last, blowing a bubble as she wrote the name down. "See you never, sucker." Violet said simply as she placed her vote in the urn and made her way back to her seat.
Once Violet sat back down, Chris stood up. "I'll go tally the votes." he said as he now walked down the path to the confessional to get the urn.
The crackle of fire put everyone just a bit on edge as he did so, but a handful of people remained relaxed knowing they were safe. "If anyone has an idol or an advantage and you'd like to play it, now would be the time to do so." Chris told the tribe.
No one seemed to even motion that they were grabbing anything though, although eyes such as Rookie's darted over everyone just to see. "Nothing? Alright then, I'll read the votes." Chris stated, seeing as nothing was played.
Everyone focused on the urn now as Chris pulled out the first vote and unfolded it. "First vote..."
...
...
...
...
...
"Surge."
Surge groaned, having expected a vote or two.
Chris unfolded the next vote, then slowly turned it around for the others to see.
"Second vote..."
...
...
...
...
...
"VT."
VT just rested her head on her palm, annoying to be getting a vote sent her way.
"Third vote..."
...
...
...
...
...
"VT. That's two votes VT, 1 vote Surge."
Rookie smirked at this, seeing VT grow a little more uncomfortable.
"Fourth vote..."
...
...
...
...
...
"Surge."
Surge crossed her arms, now sitting up properly as she listened to the votes being read.
"Fifth vote..."
...
...
...
...
...
"Samey."
Samey sighed at this, knowing full well who it was from.
"Sixth vote..."
...
...
...
...
...
"Surge. That's three votes Surge, two votes VT, and 1 vote Samey."
Surge now glared at the other two with votes, with Samey shrinking back in her seat a bit.
"Seventh vote..."
...
...
...
...
...
"VT."
VT now was genuinely worried it might be her, trying to figure out who these votes were from.
"Eight vote..."
...
...
...
...
...
"Surge."
Surge clenched both fists now, pissed that she was getting this much. "You've gotta be kidding me..." she muttered.
"Ninth vote..."
...
...
...
...
...
"Surge. That's 5 votes Surge, 3 votes VT, and 1 vote Samey."
Surge gritted her teeth, VT eased up a little, and Samey wasn't at all worried now.
"Second person voted out of Total Drama Pahkitew Island..."
...
...
...
...
...
"Surge! That's 6 votes, that's enough. Time for you to go." Chris read the 10th vote in disappointment, tossing the parchment aside.
Rookie was mildly annoyed, but that was the most upset anyone was that Surge was leaving. "Oh you're all morons! That's what you all are! Someone actually steps up to the challenge and you just vote them out! Okay, I see how it is!" Surge yelled at her former tribe.
"Sorry, but we need to function as a tribe, and you just don't fit in to that." Dino apologized, before receiving a swift kick upside the head from Surge.
"YOU don't fit into that! If I had my way, you'd be gone!" Surge shouted at Dino.
Liana hurriedly helped Dino up, narrowing her eyes at Surge. "And this is why you're gone, we don't need someone like you!" Liana argued.
Surge was going to yell at them further, but Chris walked up and put a hand on her shoulder. "Surge, it's time to go! Follow me to the Cannon of Shame!" Chris interrupted her tantrum.
Surge just turned around and shoved Chris to the ground though, marching past him. "Screw this! Screw all of you!" she yelled angrily as she made her way to the cannon.
Cutting ahead a bit, Surge was loaded into the cannon, her hair down with the helmet on. "Any last words Surge?" Chris asked, while the rest of Kinosewak watched.
Surge just shook her head, turning away from her former tribe. "Nope!" was all she responded with.
Chris just shrugged, then pressed the button and sent her flying out of the cannon and into the distance, not a further word from her as she flew. "Welp, I was hoping for more out of her, but that made sense. The rest of you can head back to camp, good night!" Chris dismissed everyone else, letting them leave the elimination area.
With Surge gone, Chris faced the camera, putting his hands behind his back. "Safe to say Kinosewak's first tribal council was just as spicy, if not more so than Muskwak's! Will Mani Oho's live up to the malice? Or will we see one of these losing tribes again? Stay tuned to find out next time on Total, Drama, Paaaaaaaahkitew Island!" Chris concluded the episode, raising his arms with the words.

Author's Note:
Very sorry for the long wait, but when your passion comic gets copystriked, you kinda fall out of love with the series. It took me a while to actually get back into the groove of writing, since knowing that Fresh doesn't even want this made as a comic was a bit disheartening. Got back into it though, and here we are! Surge was a fun character to write, although she just isn't the kind of player that can realistically go far in a season where everyone is playing strategically. Recklessly taking charge, throwing out names, picking fights, it was a recipe for disaster. Thank you once again for all your patience, and I can't wait to see you all next time! Have a great day!
