AN: I know I'm two days late into this, I am so sorry coz I forgot that it was SoKai. Enjoy the story guys!
Sora was laying on his bed with Kairi laying her head on his shoulder. He looked at the ceiling and began to think back to what he and Kairi had been through. As he began thinking, one memory seemed to resurface. One that he does not want to go through.
Sora went out of the portable portal he's made and arrived at the play island's sandy shores of Destiny Islands, hoping to meet Kairi. He was wearing an Organization cloak. As he got out of the he saw Kairi standing there with a sad expression.
"Hey," Sora called out, getting Kairi's attention.
"Hey," she replied.
"I'm sorry if I can't contact you."
"It's fine. I'm sorry too for not contacting you."
Sora nodded. "Yen Sid told us in this intense training, we can't contact anyone until our training is over. It's already been a few days since we just started our training and I'm already missing you…"
"Me too…"
"How's your training going Kairi?"
"It's challenging. Even more challenging than when Aqua is teaching me," Kairi gave a chuckle. "Made me miss her lessons…"
"Yeah. I hope you'll get back to her lessons soon enough."
"Thanks Sora. How's your scouting training been going?"
"Doing well, thanks. This Organization helps a lot with stealth. You might have to wear this as well coz you're gonna have scouting training as well."
"Well, as long as it's comfortable," Kairi lightly jokes.
Sora laughed a bit. "It's comfortable, don't worry."
The two stood there, side by side with each other as they looked to see the sun setting very slowly over the horizon.
"I hope it's alright for us to do this. Yen Sid was quite adamant of us meeting each other like this," Kairi said, worriedly.
"Yeah. It's apparently one of the rules. It's one thing not contacting each other…but not meeting each other? Seriously?"
"I know Sora. But it was our parents and Yen Sid's idea for this training. It's through this training, that we won't be able to repeat the same mistakes that we did during the battle at the Keyblade Graveyard. And I have to agree with them. It's because of me that you had to be thrown to Quadratum."
"Kairi, I will give my life a hundred times for you and everyone else to be safe. ESPECIALLY you…"
"But…I don't want us getting separated like that again…and…having to search for you a year…"
Sora held Kairi's hand before kissing it. "I know Kairi…I know…"
"Sora…" She used her hand that was kissed by Sora to cup his cheek. She gently pulled his lover close to her face as their lips met.
Kairi and Sora separated from their as he pulled her close to him.
"Feels…good…" Sora said to which Kairi gave a small laugh.
"Oh Sora…by the way, how's your scouting training?" the Princess of Heart asked.
"Well…I'm…actually not finished with it yet…"
Kairi immediately separated from the hug. "You're not?!"
"Shh, not too loud Kairi!"
"Won't you get in trouble for this?" her tone, quieter.
"Yeah but…I just want to see you again."
"You have to return to your scouting training soon, Sora. I don't want you getting in trouble because of me."
"I…actually have no problem with that…"
Kairi put her hands on her hips. "Sora."
"Ok, I know. But…can we stay here for…just a bit longer? I promise I'll leave soon."
"But…"
Before she can continue, Sora immediately kisses her, eliciting a faint noise of surprise from Kairi.
"I miss you…I miss you my Princess Kairi," Sora said in between kisses.
"Sora…Sora…no…don't…please…" she said in between moans before giving in to the kiss.
They kissed for a good five minutes before separating. Both their foreheads are now touching each other's as they closed their eyes,
"Sora…"
"I missed this…I want to stay like this with you…longer…"
"Me too Sora…but please…for both our sakes…"
"But…"
"Don't worry Sora…it'll be alright."
After a good few minutes, the two then (hesitantly) separated from their embrace.
"We'll meet like this again when we can Sora, okay?"
Sora said nothing but nodded. They summoned a portal to leave the play islands. Before they went into the portal, the two looked at each other one more time before parting ways.
Sora looked back to Kairi's sleeping form. Those intense training days are over. What matters is that he and Kairi are here. He wrapped his arm around Kairi, pulling her closer to him before giving a kiss on her head and closing his eyes to rest.
AN: Ah, I know I said it once and I'll say it again, 23jk's Data Greeting never ceases to give me inspiration. If you guys don't know, this was inspired from one of 23jk's Roxas and Kairi Data Greeting videos she made called "Bittersweet".
Sorry if this chapter feels a little bit rushed. Yeah, I know I said that I was gonna wait for 23jk to re-upload her Data Greeting vid so I can start writing my ideas for the next story. But there were a few reasons to do this. First, of course I want to write this story for SoKai day, which, like I also said, I missed just two days ago! XD. So I gotta write a story now. Second, I don't want you guys to wait for the next SoKai story chapter for a long time. Originally I was going to make a new story for SoKai day buuuuuut I decided against that as this SoKai story is long overdue for a new chapter. Please give me constructive feedback and constructive criticism, and don't be afraid to tell me which parts of the story I need to improve. This is Samuel Loegan saying, happy RokuShi week everyone! Thanks for reading and I'll see you all in the next chapter! Goodbye!
