Riley was 13 now. When she spent a weekend at hockey camp, the emotions in her head grew from five to nine (ten once Nostalgia is allowed to use the console).

One night, however, the originals had a private chat with each other.

"This is gonna sound absolutely ridiculous", Joy began, "but I think I actually dreamt about…having a baby."

"I did too", said Fear. "It was…" He twiddled his thumbs nervously.

"Well, if it's a dream we share, say what you remember, Fear."

He didn't really want to. Sure, they all probably knew, but it's still awkward to say aloud, you know?

"Love. Her name was Love."

"Mm-hm", Joy hummed. "She was small and magenta and had long eyelashes like Disgust. Except they were a bit longer."

The green emotion wanted to scoff and say Not likely!, but she was suddenly hit with an image of the child. She also recalled- "I was the most thrilled to babysit her."

Sadness let a tear fall down her face. "I remember Pride." He was technically the original orange emotion.

Joy giggled. "I wish he was real too, Sadness."

Anger sighed as he too said a name. "Contempt. She was another little emotion. Something that takes a drop of Anger…and a pinch of Disgust…"

"Ugh. Why are we talking about this now?", Disgust asked. "We have real new emotions here."

"True", Joy replied. "It's just…remember having that feeling a few months ago as if 8 or 9 years passed seemingly in the span of 1? It's a real mystery."

"But why did we have to share a collected dream that all five of us are all aware of?", Anger asked.

"It's not often we all get to talk amongst ourselves. Gotta seize these moments."

Anger smiled.

The originals hugged.

Anxiety, Envy, Ennui and Embarrassment looked from a distance, keeping quiet.

The orange emotion smiled with her hands linked together and under her chin. "Let's say from now on, let's let those five have their own time together."
