I didn't plan on making a sequel but when I published the English version of this story, I forgot to set the status "complete" to my story and this story pleased someone who legitimately thought there was going to be a sequel. So here is the requested sequel.
I remind you that English is not my native language.
I hope you like it
Happy reading

In the sweet tranquility of the evening, Jane Rizzoli finds herself facing a test that defies her usual assurance. Pregnant with her first daughter, the anticipation of a moment as decisive as childbirth gives rise to a sea of doubts in her, Jane nevertheless feels isolated in her apprehensions. The pains, the uncertainties, the unanswered questions swirl in her mind with an intensity that continues to grow even though her gynecologist had spoken to her about it.
Jane knows that her wife Maura with her encyclopedic knowledge can answer her questions and she also knows that Maura's biological mother, Doctor Hope Martin can help her, as well as Nina and Susie who gave birth before her but for this intimate subject if there is one, Jane prefers to talk about it with her mother Angela so one evening while Maura is absorbed by the responsibilities of a charity evening for the Isles foundation, Jane seizes the opportunity to go to her mother.
Jane goes out and goes to Maura's guest house where Angela has been living since her divorce. Jane as she enters smells the delicious smell of the dinner Angela was preparing and says
"Ma? Are you there?
I'm in the kitchen Jane!"
Jane went into the kitchen, sat down on a chair and smiled and ran a hand over her well rounded belly and felt her daughter kick and Jane said smiling
"You are my daughter, there is no doubt! I too, I smelled the smell of the meal made by your nonna and I too am very hungry"
Angela turned around and said
"The meal will be ready soon. Maura coming home soon?
She sent me a message, she still has at least two hours left. I regret not being able to accompany him.
You don't like this kind of evening
I love Maura and if accompanying her to a party for the Isles Foundation makes her happy then I make her happy and you know the saying "A happy wife, a happy life"
Yes and I agree with that and you have a very happy life
But I don't like leaving her alone at this kind of party. I don't want anyone to get the idea of hitting on her because I'm not there."
Angela sits on the chair next to Jane and says
"Don't worry Jane. Maura is a serious woman, who loves you and who knows how to defend herself and then I don't think there is anyone who wants to face Arthur and Constance and even less Paddy Doyle."
Jane smiles at the thought then Angela looks at Jane's face and says
"Jane, tell me about what's bothering you.
What's bothering me?
Jane, I'm your mother, I see it when something is wrong with you, and if you hadn't had something important to tell me, you wouldn't have come right away given your pregnancy."
Jane says:
"Exactly, it's about my pregnancy
Angela then says a little worried
"You... you don't have a problem I hope... Is everything okay? Should we call Maura? Should we call Hope? »
Angela got up from her chair and went to get her cell phone and said
"I have to call..."
Jane grabbed her mother's arm and said
"Don't worry Ma! Everything is fine! There is no need to call Maura, Hope or my gynecologist"
Angela sits back down and says
"So what's the problem?
Ma, I can't help but think about giving birth
I understand you. When I was pregnant I thought about it too, well especially from the 6th month. I told myself that I was finally going to be a mother. When I was pregnant with you and I saw the date coming, I couldn't sit still anymore. Your father kept telling me "Angela, calm down and sit down. Our daughter is not going to come out any sooner because you won't stop moving" and it was worse when I entered my last week of pregnancy, your father was so tired of seeing me moving all the time that he threatened to tie me to a chair"
The two women started laughing and Jane once she became serious again said
"Actually... what I fear... is childbirth... well not childbirth itself but the pains of childbirth . »
Angela says:
"Ah I see what you mean. Have you talked to your gynecologist about it?
Yes, of course.
Have you talked to Hope or Maura? Nina or Susie?"
I did it Ma, it's just that I can't stand the violent pains well it's the fact of having to take a pain medication...you know that I don't like it. I know the pains but this is a pain that I have never known.
Don't worry Jane! You are a strong woman. You have lived worse than that. "
Jane instinctively looked at her hands and said to herself that yes, she had lived worse than that and she said
"What if something goes wrong? If I don't succeed in giving birth to my daughter?
Maura will be by your side! Maura or Hope will know how to give you good advice! You will be up to it. You are a Rizzoli, you are strong! I had the same doubts when I was pregnant. It is true that when I gave birth to you, I was in pain but it was bearable and it was because you did not want to go out and after a long time, you came out without problem. When I gave birth to Frankie and Tommy, it was quicker and less painful."
Angela ran her hand over Jane's face and said
"It can be a very painful moment, but it's one of the most beautiful moments in a woman's life. Giving birth, bringing a child into the world. If I could go back in time to relive my births, I would sign right now and when I held you in my arms and when I breastfed you for the first time, I was so happy and so was your father. That's what will happen for you and Maura.
I love her so much, Ma. I want to be the best mother I can be to our daughter."
And you will be and Maura will be too! You will be wonderful mothers to this little treasure.
Thank you, Ma. I needed to hear that. Oh! She just kicked!
Jane? Can I put my hand on your belly?
Of course Ma"
Angela put her hand on Jane's belly and felt the kicks given by her future granddaughter and Angela said
"She's a real Rizzoli! I can tell you! She can't stay still! And I bet that like her mother, she must be hungry!
That's the case Ma.
Good! I'll bring the meal"
Angela brought the meal and Jane was reassured because her mother had removed one of the doubts that was bothering her. Jane knew that there would be others but with the love of Maura and the whole Rizzoli family, she would have the solution and everything would be fine.
