Just a note, Severus is referring to his younger version. If it says Snape, it is referring to his adult version.

Severus knew something was off today. But he couldn't place it.

The day's first class was potions, which was now his worst class. No, not because he was terrible at it. On the contrary, Severus is brilliant in potions, even coming up with better and easier ways to make the brew more potent, long-lasting, and safer for the brewer. However, the one downside was that he'd be in the same class as Lily Evans. His former best friend. Now, he knows that it was his fault, even if it was an accident, and he hated himself for even thinking that disgusting word about her. He can't, however, avoid her. And there lie in the problem.

The Marauders have threatened to hex him every time he's near Lily, even if they have to be in the same class. Intelligence is not a common thing between them. Well, that's partially a lie. Lupin seems to have all the brain cells of the group. I get that they don't want her to get hurt (again) , but at least use some common sense.

Unbeknownst to Severus, a letter was waiting for him on his bed once he finished getting changed. Many people in the school were sent a letter, including the Marauders, Lily, the professors, and the entire school. So what was this letter?

The letter was from Headmaster Dumbledore, addressing the fact that he was cancelling classes for the day. Why? It didn't say. Only two future guests have proven that fact. So, after completing his regular morning routine, he set off for the Great Hall for breakfast and, subsequentially, to meet the guests from the future.

Severus internally scoffed at the idea. He knew time travel existed; the problem was these two travellers seemed to be from years instead of hours in the future, which was impossible to accomplish with a time turner.

Once arriving at the Great Hall, he noticed almost everyone was skeptical of it, except for a select number of people from each house. That in itself wasn't a shock to Severus. But, then, Ravenclaw would be interested in learning how time travel by years was possible. Hufflepuffs are just naturally curious about these things, same with Slytherins. Like the Ravenclaws, Slytherins would also like to know how the travellers achieved it. And finally, Gryffindors would just be excited due to the possibility of a new adventure, even if they aren't the ones going on it.

Everyone tucked into their preferred breakfast, wondering when they'd meet the guests. Headmaster Dumbledore was not at the Head Table, so it was clear he was with the guests, most likely re-checking their story and making sure they were who they said they were.

After the Hall finished their meals, Dumbledore strode into the Great Hall. "As you all may know," he starts once he arrives at the podium. "Classes have been cancelled today. That is due to our guests from the future. If you would all stand up, I will have Professor McGonagall transfigure the tables into a more comfortable seating arrangement before introducing our guests."

Severus stands with the rest of the student body, allowing Professor McGonagall to transfigure the tables into couches and chairs with an end table for each area. Once they did that and everyone was seated, Dumbledore went to the door behind the Head Table, letting two people in.

The first to enter was a tall black-haired man wearing a black muggle suit with a green tie. He also wore a wand holster on his upper left arm. His long, black hair was up in a bun, yet what stood out the most about him was his eyes. They were black. Then again, what also stood out was an oil stain on his right cheek and neck. He did not realize that, though.

The other was a boy, about 17-18 years old. Dark hair, almost black, his eyes a bright emerald green. He was wearing a red and blue spandex suit and holding what appeared to be a mask. The suit had a spider emblem on its chest with a web-like design expanding from it all over it.

The two stood side-by-side in front of the Hall before the man glanced at the boy, whispering something no one else could hear. The young man nods once, straightening his back.

"Hello, my name is Harry James Potter, son of James Potter and Lily Potter, nee Evans," the boy, now known as Harry, starts.

Lily and James are shocked for various reasons. James was ecstatic knowing he and Evans got together. Lily, on the other hand, was confused. She was wondering what had changed to make her fall for him. Though, no one else was surprised by this revelation, not even Severus.

Harry continues, "I am almost 18, just a few more months. When I was 10, a radioactive spider bit me, so now I have abilities such as being able to crawl on walls. I go by Spiderman when I'm wearing the mask." He holds up his mask while saying the last part. "This," he pats the tall man's shoulder, who gives a small amused smile. "Is my mentor."

Just as some curious students started to raise their hands to ask questions, Dumbledore stood and silenced them. "You may ask questions once they both have introduced themselves."

The raven-haired man steps forward slightly. "My name is Severus Snape," that alone gets a reaction out of many people. Some don't believe that Severus Snape could be anywhere near handsome. In contrast, James was fuming about Snivillus being his kids' mentor.

"I'm not going to say my age; you don't need to know that," he turns to Harry and asks, "Should I show them my suit?" To which Harry nods enthusiastically. Snape shrugs, taking off his formal suit jacket to reveal a glowing blue object on his shirt. Touching the blue object causes bright green and gold to spread across his body and cover his head. Everyone was entirely in the right to freak out; as far as they knew, the green and gold were suffocating him.

When the suit was fully on, many gasped at the look of it. The helmet itself was terrifying. Some startle again when the helmet removes itself to reveal Snapes' face. "While wearing this suit, I go by Iron Man." He seems to remember something as he hits his forehead in a 'duh' motion. "I almost forgot. I'm also the owner of a multibillion-dollar company, Snape Industries."

Harry, however, snickers a bit, drawing attention to him. "I'm surprised you didn't say your catchphrase."

"What is his catchphrase?" A curious Hufflepuff asks with their hand raised; the hand is shaking, showing they're nervous to ask.

Harry laughs outright while Snape groans, rolling his head back in fond irritation. "You just had to go and say something, didn't you, Underoos?" Harry stops laughing and glares at his mentor.

"They weren't pyjamas, Mr. Snape!" Harry lets out in both frustration and fondness. His answer showed that the two had this conversation many times.

Snape smirks, "Sure they aren't, kid." He ruffles Harry's hair a bit. "Well, since he hasn't said it yet, my catchphrase is 'Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.' Of course, though, it would be former playboy now." Again, many people's jaws drop in shock at thinking Severus Snape would ever be a playboy.

"So," Dumbledore booms while clapping once to get the student body's attention. "They wish to show us the future of himself and Harry since their fates are intertwined." While Dumbledore has a smile on his face, only the Slytherins, Harry, and Snape notice the tightening of the older man's jaw, showing that he is not happy about that.

Snape retakes the stage, "May we begin setting up the modified pensieve?" He doesn't wait for an answer and begins setting it up while Harry looks around the room, eyes landing on his parents. He choked on a sob at seeing them and turned away quickly. Lily sees the sob and can tell that something will happen to her, James, or both of them in the future. However, James doesn't see the sob and thinks Snivillus has been telling him lies.

Snape notices Harry sob and instantly brings him to the project with a small smile. Everyone can hear him say, "Want to help me set this bad boy up, kid?" Harry nods and gets to work helping Snape.

It takes a few minutes to set the modified Pensieve up, but once it is, Snape takes out his wand from its holster on his left arm, waving it to add a new couch for him and Harry to sit on.

Once they are sitting down, Snape looks at Harry. "We have to start with 'that night.' If you don't want to hear that again, I can cast Mufliato around you." Harry nods, allowing Snape to cast the spell; holding Harry close to his chest, he begins the presentation of the future.
