His body trembled with exhaustion, his mind in a constant state of turmoil. The weight of his emotions threatened to crush him, leaving him gasping for air. He tried to confide in his friends, but the words stuck in his throat like shards of glass. With a heavy sigh, he knew he needed a break from this overwhelming chaos. They were on break anyway, so why not take a few days to escape it all? He longed for the comfort and familiarity of home, a brief respite from the constant barrage of stress and anxiety. What could possibly go wrong in just a few days away? Little did he know, everything would unravel in his absence.

He had thought about it for a few weeks about his decision. He just needed a break from this. His friends would understand.

He was ready to go home and take a break for a few days. He picked up his phone and dialed a number.

"Hey sweetie. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah. Everything's fine. I just wanted to come home for a few days if that was okay?"

"Of course it's okay."

"Okay. I'll be home in the morning." He said and hanging up his phone. He was going to tell the guys but didn't want them to try and convince him to not go even if it was for a few days. He'll explain to them when he returned home. It will be only for a few days anyway.

2 Years Later

He stepped in the Palmwoods. He been gone for two years. Things got in the way but he was back now.

But little did he know it wouldn't be the reunion he had pictured.

Hoped you liked it. This is a prologue for a new story. If you remember I had a choose story and this was one of them. Sorry I'm just now getting to the story. Honestly, I forgot about it and I'm sorry. But I re visited the summary and decided to write the story. I'm working on The Lies We Tell, Disappeared Without A Trace, Theory Of A Mind, and I also have new stories to share.
