New York:

Reed was flying the FantasticCar over where the last known locations of their friends were pinged. Reed, Susan, and Ben were all there and saw the police surrounding the hole in the street.

"This is where HERBIE has them pinged last," Reed said as he approached the hole. "Ben, would you mind..."

"Yeah, im on it, stretch," Ben said as he approached the hole. "But no promises that if I find Johnny first, I won't clobber him!"

Ben then leaped into the hole and let out a small shriek as he fell. The two of them waited for him to cry out that it was safe after hitting the ground. Then they finally heard a giant thud, confirming that Ben hit the ground.

"Hey! There's nothing down here!" Ben sounded frustrated.

Susan then crested a forcefield for her to descend down on and Reed stretched himself to reach the ground of the hole.

Ben was looking around, trying to see where they could have been. "There's no sign of Spidey, Matchstick, or the Sinister Six."

"Do you think they've been teleported?" Susan asked as she looked around.

Ben walked over to the large green pipe. "What's this?"

"No, my scanners can pick up teleportation," Reed commented, taking a small scanner around. "Huh. This is interesting."

"What?" Susan wonders.

"I am not detecting Teleportation, but I am picking up on what seems to be an Einstein Rosenberg bridge," Reed commented, only to see it vanish from his scanners. "Wait, now it's gone."

Susan then heard an odd noise and noticed their missing friend. "Ben?" She called, looking down the green pipe. "Where'd he go?" She then approached the pipe herself and saw a few marks on the walls that looked like they came from Ben. "Ben!?"

Then Susan felt a giant gust of wind that began to drag her inside, causing her to grunt and try and create a forcefield to stop her from being dragged in. But there was still a giant gust of wind growing stronger, causing Susan to stop it.

"Reed!" Susan cried out as she tried to stop herself from being dragged. "Help!"

"Susan?!" Reed ran over toward the pipe and saw the pipe dragging her in. "Hang on!" He then reached his hand to grab her and wrapped his hand around the dozens of pipes around them to keep them from being dragged in. "I got you!"

But Susan was then dragged down the pipe as she was forced out of Reed's arms and sent falling down the pipe as she screamed. Reed groaned and saw he needed to go after her, and Ben if that was what happened to him. He released his hand and jumped down the pipe himself to chase his family.

Meanwhile in the FantastiCar, Valeria and Franklin were inside of the vehicle and brought it down. Valeria was sometimes too smart for her own good.

"This is a bad idea," Franklin said.

"Come on, don't you wanna help find Uncle Pete?" Valeria asked as she jumped out of the ship.

"We are so going to get in trouble," Franklin said as he jumped from the ship.

Valeria looked around and walked over to the giant pipe. "This looks big enough for Rhino. So, maybe they went down this way."

"This is weird," Franklin said as he looked at the pipes. "This place looks like a plumber's nightmare." Then he heard his sister shriek, causing him to look over at the giant green pipe. "Val?" He ran over to the pipe and saw his sister was gone. "Val!"

Then the pipe dragged Franklin into the warp tunnel, causing him to shriek and be dragged down the tunnel. He shrieks as he falls into the Warp tunnel where he sees his sister in the distance. He reached her and the two were flung from the portal and ended up in the middle of the Mushroom Kingdom.

"Uh... where are we?"

Mushroom Kingdom:

Peter and Toad arrive at the Mushroom Kingdom's town of Toads. He was amazed by the strange society that was created by these people and looked at their strange technology. Strange boxes that once punched sprouted out coins that were their version of banking. Weird fish were being carried around in bags that were bigger than the Toads themselves.

"This way, Peter! The princess lives right on that hill!" Toad explained as he led Peter through the city, pushing through the crowd. "Excuse me, everybody, coming through. We've got a big adventure happening right now. Just clear a path for us. If I could just... Excuse me..."

A Toad drops a coin and Peter picks it up. A red Toad runs to him. "Here you go."

Peter politely gives him the coin. He tips his imaginary hat to the Toads, happily greeting them.

"Excuse me, everybody, coming through!" Toad yelled to the crowd. "This guy's friend is going to die imminently! Out of the way, please!"

"What?!" Peter asked Toad.

"Just trying to clear a path," Toad assured him. "That's all I'm doing. He's gonna be fine. Chanterelle!"

Chanterelle waved to him. "Morning!"

"Nice to see ya, bud!"

"Does this thing work?" A Toad asked an Antique dealer holding a flute.

"Yes, works great. Eh, you just have to blow into it."

Toad then ran over to what looked to be like an elevator and construction equipment rolled into one. "And, up we go!"

"Wait, up?" Peter asked as he grunted and quickly got on the platform, which took them up.

The gate opens in front of them, Peter follows Toad on a moving platform. Toad hops onto the next platform, Peter ends up missing the jump but grabs onto the edge crawls over, and flips his way back up.

Peter gets up and breaths heavily from almost falling, before running after Toad. Toad continues running through the kingdom, and whistles to Peter, who was waving at a toad, to get his attention. Peter gets off the rising platform and follows him onto bricks that float above.

Peter tries not to fall when he finds a whole path of bricks that are floating above the ground and aren't even attached to anything. "Whoa! Okay, so these bricks are just floatin' here like it's normal?"

Peter then just shrugged it off and ran across the pathway and followed Toad as he headed over towards some strange clear pipes. "Just pop in this pipe and we're on our way!"

Peter was surprised to hear that. "Oh."

Toad then jump into the pipe and was sucked off into the pipe. "It's the only way to fly, man. Woo!"

Peter was surprised as he approached the pipe. "Whoa, how do these-"

But he got too close and he got sucked into it. He yells as he gets dragged across, hitting every corner, while Toad is having a smooth ride. Toad gets out of the pipe and jumps in another. Peter comes out next but gets confused about which pipe Toad took. He gets in the wrong pipe and comes out of another.

Peter looked around and saw he was in the same area. "Huh? He tries other pipes but repeatedly ends up in the same place. Then he looked around and saw that there were a dozen pipes everywhere with a dozen Toads going around like it was a normal day. "Ah, come on!"

Emerging from the right pipe atop the hill, Peter appeared utterly exhausted. He let out a groan as he slid down and collapsed onto the pipe's curve. Catching his breath, he gasped at the sight of the castle before him, with Toad marching towards it. His eyes were drawn to a stained glass window depicting a figure holding a rose, presumably the Princess he had come to meet.

"Here we are. Palace doors. Bing bang boom!" Toad said as Peter got up, and straightened his scruffy hair while staring in awe at the Castle. "Come on! Woo!"

Peter follows Toad to the castle entrance. "Whoa. This is pretty amazing. Definitely a step up from Doom's castle."

Toad chuckled. "Pretty impressive, am I right?"

The two get stopped by two guards at the palace doors. They placed their weapons in front to stop them from passing, and Peter looked down and almost wanted to laugh at how small they were.

"Hold it right there, you two!" The guard said.

Peter nodded and didn't really take them that seriously. "Oh, hey. I need to see... the princess. It's an emergency."

"What princess?" One guard asked sarcastically.

"I've never heard of any princess."

"Oh, wait, I did. Our princess, though, is in another castle."

"Oh, yeah, that's right."

"You should try another castle, maybe. She ain't in this one."

Peter growled and was ready to fight his way through if he had to. The longer he was stopped, the longer that Johnny could be in danger. Toad however seemed to see his anger and stepped forward.

"Okay, so they're messing with you. And... I don't like it." Toad takes out his frying pan, screaming a battle cry, places his camping equipment down, and makes food for them, much to Peter's confusion. "What do you guys, um... What do you wanna eat? Anything, anything your hearts desire." He then whispers to Peter. "Go!" Then talks to the guards. "I am ready to scramble it up."

Peter sneaks in through the palace doors. He stops to notice some more guards. Peter pretends to be stoic and salutes the guards while walking by them; the guards salute him back. But just as he drops the look and runs, the guards realize there's an intruder and start chasing Peter. He quickly turned around and shot out two webs to latch them to the ground and ran his way through the castle.

In a large room, a council of Toads is gathered around a hologram that opens from the ground. The hologram shows a world map, displaying all the islands, including Bowser's ship.

"Council, your attention. Bowser has found the Super Star and is headed toward our kingdom. Its power will make him invincible. We will be destroyed." The General Toad said, displaying Bowser approaching in hologram form. All the toads gasp, and a green toad faints.

"Princess, What are we gonna do?" One asked

Peach boasts striking blue eyes and long blonde hair that cascades down to her waist, complemented by two sideburns and a heart-shaped bang framing her forehead. Her look is completed with sapphire earrings and subtle makeup, including mascara, black eyeliner, and peach-toned lipstick.

"I will not let him hurt you." Peach promises as she gets off her throne and walks down the stairs leading to her throne. "We are going to stop Bowser."

"How? Look at us. We're adorable." A yellow Toad said as he made a puppy face, followed by a few others around him.

Peach walked around the hologram and approached the Kong Kingdom hologram. "I'm going to convince the Great Kong army to help us. Together, we'll annihilate that monster."

"Their mad king doesn't make alliances. The Kongs will never agree." The Toad General reminded her.

"I can convince him," Peach promised as she headed for the doorway. "I'll leave for the Jungle Kingdom as soon as I can."

"Good luck, princess. For all our sakes."

Princess Peach walks through the halls, thinking to herself about how she is going to convince the King to help until she hears footsteps. From her point of view, Peter appears, making a quick turn using his hand and sticking it to the ground, and dashes towards her. Everything goes in slow motion as Peter becomes glad to have found her.

Peter stopped right in front of her and was relieved to finally stop running. "Princess! Hi-" Several Toad guards tackled and restrained Peter, causing him to scream and groan wondering how he didn't see them coming. "Ow! You guys are heavier than you look!"

Peach then finally got over seeing him and came to her senses. "Wait! Release him."

The guards back away from him, before one of them gives him another kick. "Ah!" He groaned as he got up from the ground. "Okay, that felt personal. I'm gonna remember you." He promised, pointing at the Toad who kicked him. "I got your number."

"Whoa... Peach said as she looked closely at Peter. "Are you...?" She then gasped as she grabbed him by the cheeks to get a closer look at him. "He's a human! I mean, you are a human, right?" She wonders as she starts inspecting him, poking his chest and looking over his back. "Wait, wait, wait. L- Let's go back. Where did you come from?"

Peter wasn't sure how to respond to what happened but shrugged it off. "Uh, me and my friend, Johnny, we were chasing some criminals and fell down this pipe, and now he's lost... s-somewhere in the Dark Lands!"

Peach seemed to follow and seemed worried. "Then it's only a matter of time until he's captured by Bowser. But you're in luck — I'm on my way to stop him."

Peter was relieved to hear that. "Well, take me with you."

"This guy's a lunatic. A psycho. He will eat you for breakfast," Peach warned Peter in all seriousness.

Peter scoffed when he heard that. "Uh, yeah, no. I have dealt with psychos before." He proclaimed. "I will be able to dish anything he can throw. I've gone against aliens, monsters, literal psychopaths, and everything that can be thrown at me." He then got stern as he approached her. "I am going to save my friend. And you are not going to stop me."

Peach saw he was serious and her expression changed. "Well, okay. Let's see what you're made of."

Peter watched her walk away and was confused. "Is that a "yes"?"

Peach shrugged as he followed. "No. That's a "Let's see what you're made of"." She repeated.

Peach leads Peter to the balcony where it floats over to the middle of a lake, where a giant Question block appears, as it opens, the Training Course appears, filled with many replicas of items that Peter guessed were called plants which acted like piranha, a board with Bowser, giving Peter a look of what the guy looks like, and there was giant rocket shooting bullets with faces painted on them.

"If you can finish this, you're coming with me. Watch and learn." Peach said as she went through the Training Course, kicked a cardboard Bowser, and finished the Training Course by jumping on top of the Bullet Bills and landing on the flag without any issue. "Your turn."

"Whoa," Peter said in surprise. "Ha." He scoffed as he prepared to take the course. He placed his mask over his head and cracked his neck. "Watch and learn."

Peter then ran the course, leaping over the blocks she once had to use to jump. He then swung on a web he shot and went underneath a lot of the course before rolling back on top for the final part. He leaped over the disappearing blocks where he then jumped across the Bullet bills. He then swung over the piranha plant spun around the flag and then nailed the landing.

Peach seemed to be amazed at how quickly he managed to run the course that she had trained years to complete at that speed. "Whoa... how... how were you... how did you do that?"

"Meh, a lot of training, years of beatings, and a spider bite doesn't hurt. Actually, it does," Peter admitted. "But still, yeah, I have been doing things like this for years."

Peach had to say that she was impressed. "Okay, but... beatings?"

"Back home I am known as a hero," Peter explained as he removed his mask. "They call me Spider-Man. On account of the... Spider emblems and everything."

Peach had to admit that she was impressed as she nodded. "Well, Spider-Man, it is going to be a long journey ahead of us."

"I am ready," Peter promises.

Amongst the floating fortress, inside Bowser's castle, where the various minions are celebrating and a Koopa rock band is performing "Attack! Fury Bowser". Bowser sat on his throne while he watched everyone celebrate with the Power Star behind him in the jaws of his own statue.

"My army!" Bowser called out to his armies in the room. "Koopas..." Koopa Troopas are a tortoise-like species and the primary member of the Koopa species. They generally have a yellow body and wear a Koopa Shell varying in color, though is usually green. "Goombas..." Goombas are depicted as brown mushroom-like creatures with two dark brown feet and no visible arms or legs. Goombas have bushy, black eyebrows and a pair of fangs sprouting from their lower jaw. "Whatever those things are." He was referring to a pair of Spinies, quadruped turtles with red shells, that have silver spikes. "After years of searching for the Super Star, it is finally ours!"

"Yeah!"

"I am now the most powerful turtle in the world!" Bowser cried in joy.

"YEAH!"

"Soon, we will arrive at the Mushroom Kingdom."

"YEAH!"

"Where after years of being sworn enemies... I will ask their princess to marry me in a fairy tale wedding!" Bowser proclaimed his master plan.

"YEA-" The troops pause in place and the rock band stops playing.

"Uh…"

"Yeah...?"

"Did he say 'marry...their princess'?"

"Doesn't she hate you?" One of his men asks.

Bowser seemed annoyed when he heard that question. "Of course she hates me. But that makes me love her all the more." He then gazed into the air like he was seeing her in his mind. "Her heart-shaped bangs, the way she floats in the breeze, her immovable tiara... And when she sees this Star... Oh ho ho ho. WEDDING BELLS!"

"Well, what if she says no?" One of the Koopas questioned.

Then the Koopa is engulfed in Bowser's flame and turns into a Dry Bones. The Koopa next to him rolled his eyes like it was a dumb thing to ask.

"Then I will power up with this star and destroy the Mushroom Kingdom!" Bowser promises.

Koopa rock band continues playing again. "YEAH!"

"Prepare yourselves for the best wedding ever. It's gonna rock!" Bowser promises.

In the Dark Lands, Johnny and Shocker found themselves prisoners of the Shy Guys and a Snifit, who escorted them onto a hot air balloon. Johnny was bound by golden chains that prevented him from using his fiery escape tactics. Meanwhile, Shocker's gauntlets were depleted of power, necessitating a recharge before they could be utilized once more.

"So, what do we do now?" Shocker asks Johnny.

"What, you want my help?" Johnny asks. "Half an hour ago, you wanted to kill me."

"I rather kill you back home than be killed by whatever freakish cult these things take us to," Shocker defended.

"Well, you are looking at the wrong guy," Johnny stated with a sigh. "Wherever they are taking us... we're on our own."

Mushroom Kingdom:

Peter and Peach exit the castle to see everyone cheering to see them off. "They're all counting on us. No pressure."

Peter scoffed as he pocketed his mask for the moment. "Trust me, I do well under pressure."

"We'll see," Peach said as they walked off.

Peter and Peach pass through the crowd, who give Peter curious looks. Peter gave them no mind as he passed them and headed towards the pipe. Peter and Peach stand next to the Warp Pipe.

"My Toads! Our days of terror are almost over." Peach promises. "With the help of the Kong army, we will stop-"

A blue Toad raises his hand, causing Peach to stop mid-movement. "Uh... Who's he?"

Peter chuckled as he had to admit it was nice not to be instantly recognized.

Seemed Peach needed a minute to figure out what her answer was going to be. "He's not important!"

The Toads start cheering again as Peach enters the pipe. Peter scoffed at her answer as he waves goodbye and gave a solute before he leaped in. They both start walking through the Mushroom Forest.

"Nervous?" Peach asked.

"Who, me?" Peter scoffs. "A little. Haven't done any world-saving events since last week."

Peach giggled at his attempt to joke. As they walked, Toad sang and danced up behind them.

"We're goin' on an adventure!" Toad sings as he jumps over to them. "Come on, guys!" He begins scatting as they stop. "Hey, Peter."

Peach turns to Peter. "You know this guy?"

"Uh..." Peter tried to figure out an answer.

"We're best friends," Toad answered.

Peter gave him a little of a look. "But are we?"

Toad holds up his finger to Peter and turns to Peach. "Don't worry. I...will...protect you."

Peach seemed impressed by him. "A Toad brave enough to join me."

Toad tried to come off as menacing as he could. "I fear nothing."

Peach shrugged. "Well, that settles it. You're coming with us. Let's move."

Peter seemed almost offended by how easily Toad was able to join while he had to run a giant training course. "Oh, forget it."

Toad cheered as he grabbed a Biddybud and spun it around. "Ooh, we're going on an adventure!"

But as they were walking further away from the kingdom, they heard what sounded like child-like screams. Peach, Peter, and Toad stopped as they looked in the direction the screams came from.

"Uh, is that something that sounds like screeching, or..?" Peter wonders when the second screech comes, and Peter recognizes them. "Wait... Franklin? Val!"

Peter raced off into the forest to find where the screams came from while Peach and Toad were confused but followed after him.

Franklin and Valeria ran as fast as they could from a pack of Blewbirds that were chasing them. Blewbirds are black-shelled blue avian creatures that have a red beak. Blewbirds shoot a projectile from their beak. And that was what was what ended with Franklin and Valeria being chased onto a small island on a pond surrounded by Bloopers.

Bloopers are white, squid-like creatures featured in varying sizes and colors. Bloopers are about the size of a Koopa Troopa. They possess varying numbers of tentacles, ranging from four to ten visible limbs, of various lengths.

Peter came running out of the forest when he came across the clearing where he saw Franklin and Val were stuck. "Franklin! Val!"

"Uncle Pete!" Franklin was relieved to see him. "Help!"

Peter looked around and saw the trees were big enough to get to them. "Okay, stay there. I am on my way."

Peter shot out two webs to swing and raced over where he used the pond to glide over the Bloopers. He then reached the two just as Peach and Toad reached the opening just when Peter swung back around and landed safely with the two kids in his hand. When he let go of the web, he was relieved to see the kids were okay.

"Are you guys okay?" Peter asked as he dropped to his knee to look them over. "Are you alright?"

"We're fine!" Valeria said as she clung to Peter. "Oh, we are so happy to see you!"

"We fell down this weird pipe that sucked us in, and we landed here," Franklin explained how they ended up in the Mushroom Kingdom.

"How?" Peter asked. "The pipe that me and Johnny found-"

"Mom and Dad went to check it out when you and Uncle Johnny went missing," Valeria explained in fear. "We fell in after they vanished."

Peter sighed. "That means they must have landed here, too. Wonder where they are..."

"Uh, Peter?" Peach called, getting the three of them to look towards him. "Who are these?"

"Oh, Peach, sorry, this is Val and Franklin. They're my friend Johnny's niece and nephew." Peter introduced them. "Kids, this is Princess Peach."

"Hi." Franklin greeted shyly.

"Hello." Val seemed more energetic.

"Well, hello," Peach said as she kneeled down. "It is nice to meet you."

"Hello!" Toad jumped from behind Peach, getting the kids to shriek.

"Ah!"

"What is that?!" Franklin asks.

"That's Toad," Peter said with a sigh. "He's harmless."

"Hi-ya," Toad said in a more calm manner.

"Okay, well, if your folks are here, there is a chance we might bump into them if they are searching for me and Johnny," Peter said with a sigh. "But we can't wait around for them to turn up. And I don't feel bad taking you kids into a fight."

Peach seemed to have an answer as she reached over to a bag she was carrying. "I might have something." She then reached into her bag and pulled out a crown that looked like it had the top part of a Toad shoved into the tip and almost looked like it had eyes on the front. She handed that to Valeria and then pulled out a strange purple flower with eyes. "Here, take these."

"What are they?" Valeria wonders.

"They're power-ups." Peach quickly explained. "Once you use them, they can give you special abilities." She then looked at the kids. "But only in emergencies. Once you get hit, you lose the power and can't get it back."

"I guess that could work." Peter shrugged.

"Alright!" Toad cried in joy as they continued on their path. "Onward to adventure!"

"Uh, I guess we're joining them." Val guessed.

"Who cares? This is gonna be awesome!" Franklin seemed to be more excited as he ran after them. "Wait up!"
