I feel like I need to give a weird introduction to the Loud House fan base since this is my first Loud House story. So hello, my name is Jackson and most of my stories were Phineas and Ferb fics until just now. I'm adding this on top of my two other stories I have active because that's what every good author does, find themselves not close to done with multiple stories but start a new one because this is a million dollar idea. I hope I can consistently update this for you guys.

I know that the Loud House fans are more prominent than Phineas and Ferb fans on the site so maybe that little extra motivation will get some extra attention here or future Loud House stories I may write.

Please don't expect my show knowledge to be perfect. I know everything I need to know, or at least I think I do, to write this fic, but if I mess something up with the show's lore, please let me know so I can address it.

I hope you enjoy!

Ch. 1

Saturday. One of the only constants in life for 12 year old Lincoln Loud. The one day of the week he always looked forward to; life was crazy for Lincoln Loud. Stuck in the middle of ten girls, five older, and five younger, all with their distinct individual personalities. Lincoln loved his crazy chaotic life with all of his sisters. Was it a little annoying that the eleven of them always had to fight for the bathroom? Yeah. Was it annoying that he never knew when Lynn was going to try to come and tackle him or Lucy would pop out of a corner and scare him? Yeah. Did he get annoyed by the twins' constant bickering, Luan's corny puns or Luna's blasting music? Yeah, it did. He even had to admit that life the way he was given was tough, but he wouldn't give it up for anything.

This Saturday was off to an interesting start. Instead of sleeping until noon as Lincoln was accustomed to, Rita woke him up at 8:30 saying that there was going to be an early morning family meeting today.

Lincoln didn't really understand why it had to be this early, but damn it better be important if he's missing out on his Saturday sleep-in for it. He begrudgingly arose and after brushing his teeth and putting fresh clothes on, he walked down the stairs to see Rita, Lynn Sr., Lily, Lisa, Luan, Lynn, Lana, Luna, Lori, and Leni all downstairs waiting for everybody else to get down there.

"Good morning everybody?" Lincoln groaned, still not fully awake. Then it hit him. Lori was out there. "Lori? What are you doing at home? I didn't know you were coming to visit?"

"Family meeting Lincoln." Lori said. "Mom warned me last night so I woke up early and came down."

Lola and Lucy finally showed up and gathered around with everybody else.

"Good morning everybody." Lynn Sr. said. "Your mother and I have something very important to discuss with you all. Something that we need your input on before we pull the trigger and make the decision."

The kids all looked at each other confused. Lincoln caught Lynn mouthing the word "us" at him looking confused.

"This is something that's been on our hearts for a little while now and we think that we are ready to share this with you guys." Rita said.

"Somebody that I went to high school with works with the fostering program here in Royal Woods." Lynn Sr. started. "I ran into him a few weeks ago and we caught up and he told me all about it. I talked to your mother about it and she brought up the idea of fostering a child here. We talked about it but we knew we couldn't go further without talking to you guys. So, what do you guys think? Would you guys want a foster child to live here?"

"Do they stay here forever?" Lana asked.

"I don't know sweetie." Rita said. "It's different for everybody. It depends on how she likes it here."

"She?" Lori asked.

"Yes. Your mother and I have already gone through the background checks and home inspections while you guys were at school and everything else that comes with the qualification process to become foster parents. With that, my old friends got us connected with a girl that lives in another home about 40 minutes away." Lynn said.

"Tell us about her dude." Luna said.

"Well, her name is Alyssa. She's 11 years old, just a few months younger than Lincoln. Her birthday is in a few weeks. We don't really know much about what she looks like or what her hobbies are or anything. She'd most likely stay in Leni's room but that's going to be up to her on who she wants to room with. We would want her to room with whoever she feels the most comfortable with." Rita said, "So if we do go through with this, be prepared to move rooms if need be."

"Lyssa Loud." Lola said, "That's so cute!"

"I suppose if she wanted to be called that you could." Rita said.

"So what do you think kids?" Lynn said hopefully.

Lincoln looked at the expression on each of his sister's faces. Every one of them showed some sort of excitement, minus Lily who had no idea what was going on and Lucy, who never showed emotion; but for the rest, Lincoln could tell what they thought.

"I think I speak for all of us," Lincoln said smiling, looking at his sisters. "Of course we would be happy to have Alyssa come stay here."

Rita was on the brink of tears. "You really mean that?" She said looking at Lincoln before looking at all of her beloved daughters, "Girls?"

"Yeah!" was the collective verdict from the crowd as Rita came to tears, "Thank you kids," Lynn Sr. said, "You have no idea how much this means to your mother and I."

"Of course Dad." Lincoln said. "How soon can she move in?"

"Well I'd need to get a hold of my friend with the program, but as soon as the paperwork is submitted. Could be as soon as tomorrow if I can get him to get everything worked out." Lynn said.

A roar of excitement came from each of the kids as they were so excited to welcome the newest member of the Loud family. The group slowly dispersed throughout the house thus bringing what could maybe be considered the last normal Saturday for Lincoln Loud. (A little foreshadowing perhaps:) )

The rest of the day was honestly a blur for Lincoln Loud. The overwhelming excitement that Alyssa was bringing to her future siblings reminded Lincoln of how excited he was when he found out that Rita was pregnant with Lily. Lincoln spent several hours calling his friends and telling them the great news.

Lincoln just couldn't wait until tomorrow.

Thought about introducing Alyssa and making this a longer chapter but I wanted to put this out and see how it sticks first. I plan on getting chapter two where Alyssa moves in and meets everybody this week sometime so you can look forward to it.
