First Day of Middleton High
The host author hears the doorbell before opening the shutters at the entrance with a push of a button. Soon, the guest that the author was expecting entered the realm, accompanied by a little yellow mouse-like creature with a lightning bolt shaped tail.
"Hey, PFN." guardian1989 greets. "Glad to see you here."
"No worries, dude." pokémon fan 1991 said. "Besides," he looks at the little creature. "Pikachu here wanted to tag along."
"It's okay." guardian1989 assured. "You're welcome to bring him here."
"Cool."
Suddenly, the Warners entered the realm through the elevator as the shutters opened up. However, when Wakko saw the little Pikachu, he instantly froze in fear as his siblings noticed.
"What's wrong?" Dot asks.
"Nobody... move... a muscle." Wakko warned, completely terrified.
"Oh, that." Yakko comments.
"Hey, he's harmless." PFN assured. "As long as you don't annoy him or anything."
Wakko breathes a sigh of relief as he calms down.
"Pika... Pikachu." Pikachu simply said in a communicative manner.
"I do have some snacks for the little guy to munch on." the host informing his guest while gesturing to a bowl of fruit.
"Cool." PFN said with a shrug.
Suddenly, the shutters open to reveal the usual unwanted guest on the other side.
"Yo! Wassup, everyone!" Deadpool greets with a hand wave as he strolled in.
"Of course, he would show up, per usual." guardian1989 droned in annoyance.
The merc with a mouth noticed a certain pokémon fanatic guest with a little company in the realm as he greets.
"Yo, PFN! My dude! Wassup?!"
"Hey, Wade." pokémon fan 1991 droned in annoyance.
"What? Seriously?!" Deadpool crossed his arms. "I swear, I get no respect in this universe!"
"I'm still uncertain how others would be able to tolerate you at all." guardian1989 said.
"That's a question that I ask myself." PFN droned.
However, the merc noticed a certain yellow pokémon before picking it up by the head while making it drop the apple it was eating.
"Not to mention, you let pokemon fanboy here bring this little rodent with him as well."
Only the author saw the annoyed look on Pikachu's face, as he said in a warning tone.
"You might want to put him down."
"Why?" Deadpool asks.
For the merc's answer, Pikachu concentrated as the cheeks began to spark while the author, his guest, and the Warners don welding helmets quickly.
"PI... KA... CHUUUUUU!"
In an instant, Deadpool lets out a jolting scream as Pikachu begins shocking him with a hundred thousand volts of electricity, painfully. Thankfully, those who were watching had their helmets on so they could see Deadpool being electrocuted without causing their vision to falter. The shock lasted for thirty seconds before Deadpool finally released his hold as he collapsed from the effects of the electrical attack while his body twitched and convulsed uncontrollably.
"S-s-s-tu-p-p-p-pid r-r-rat!" Deadpool managed to say before blacking out.
Dot pulled the lever, opening the shutters as the knocked out merc falls through the opening. Afterwards, the shutters seal up.
"He just saved me some time and ammo to kick him out." guardian1989 complemented.
Eventually, pizza arrived before everyone grabbed their share and went about their own business.
"May I?" PFN asked as he placed his finger on a switch.
"Be my guest." guardian1989 said.
The lights flick off as the new chapter starts.
Nearly one week has passed since the Fentons settled in to Middleton, Danny's first encounter with Kim Possible, and his first ghost patrol in the new city. During that time, he and his sister, Jazz, became enrolled in the city's school district. It was Monday, which meant one thing for the Fenton teens to officially face...
Today was the first day of their new school, Middleton High.
After waking up and getting dressed, Danny walks downstairs into the kitchen to see his parents and his sister already awakened, as well as breakfast already prepared on the table.
Jazz smirked as she snarked.
"Looks like someone's up bright and early."
"Yeah, well, I don't want to be tardy on my first day at a new school." Danny said with an eyeroll.
However, the ghost boy's older sister saw that subtle look on his expression. It was as if he was expecting to see someone there at their new school. The redhead crossed her arms as she said.
"Yeah, I'm not buying it. Spill it, little bro. Who did you meet?"
"Wouldn't you like to know." Danny said with a smile that told Jazz volumes that he met a new girl.
Jazz rolled her own eyes before taking a seat for breakfast.
Eventually, the Fenton teens finished their breakfast before washing up and prepared to go to school. For Jazz, it was her senior year in high school before graduating, and despite that, she will now be attending a new campus. However, her younger brother Danny still has two more years until he hits his own senior year. Thankfully, it was still September, so both of them did not need much to catch up with the rest of their respective classmates.
The time came as Jazz and Danny got onboard the former's car as their parents waved a temporary farewell to them.
"Have a good first day, you two!" Maddie called.
Danny and Jazz waved back to their parents before the redhead started the ignition of her vehicle. Jack and Maddie watch their elder daughter and son depart to their new high school.
As the two made their journey towards their new school, Danny and Jazz did not realize that they just passed by two houses on the way; one of which was the home that belonged to a certain heroine that the former first encountered and was about to see again, very soon.
Jazz and Danny stood forty feet away from the entrance of Middleton High. The campus itself was three times bigger than the size of Casper High. Both brother and sister were amazed by the size of it as they stared for a good amount of minutes.
"You ready for this, little bro?" Jazz asks.
"As ready as I'll ever be." was all that Danny said.
Soon, the Fenton teens walked up to the entrance of the campus to find that the interior was just as massive as the exterior, if not more so.
"Whoa..." Danny said with impression.
"You can say that again." Jazz comments in response.
After a minute of silence, Danny snaps out of his trance before he says to Jazz.
"Come on, Jazz. The principal's office should be here somewhere."
Danny sees a teen girl with wavy blonde hair as he asks.
"Excuse me?"
The blonde girl turned around before she said.
"Yes."
"Where is the principal's office at?" Danny simply asks.
The blonde blushed slightly before she said while pointing in a direction.
"It's... over there."
"Thank you." Danny politely said.
As Danny and Jazz walked off in the direction, the blonde just stared at the two; mainly at Danny as she snaps out of her trance before pulling out her cellphone and quickly started texting in her device.
One can say that a simple message can spread as fast as wildfire.
Several minutes later, Danny and Jazz leave the office with their respective schedules, which also held information on their own locker numbers and combinations for them. After getting directions to the library, the Fenton siblings acquire their stack of textbooks for their classes before leaving to place their textbooks into the lockers for storage.
"I don't know about you, Jazz, but that librarian, Miss. Hatchet gives me the creeps." Danny comments to his older sister with an uneasy feeling before leaning to whisper in her ear. "And I fight ghosts on a constant basis."
"Oh, I agree, Danny." Jazz comments. "Something tells me that we need to be on our toes with her around."
Suddenly, before the ghost boy could say something else, he bumped into someone new as his stack of books fell to the floor. Before he knew it, Danny heard a male voice asking in genuine concern.
"Hey, you okay?"
Looking up, Danny sees a different student with a bulky build, blonde hair, teal eyes, and donning the usual clothing of a football jock. However, while the jock reminded him of Dash Baxter, he didn't have any malice or any intention of bullying anyone.
Holding out his hand, the jock offered as he said.
"Here, let me help you up."
Danny accepted it as he was helped onto his feet. While dusting himself off, the ghost boy said in gratitude.
"Thanks."
"No worries." The jock saw Danny gathering his books from the floor as he asked.
"You're new here, aren't you?"
"Yeah. My sister and I just enrolled here." Danny nervously held out his hand as he said.
"I'm Danny Fenton."
"Brick Flagg. Nice to meet you." Brick said as he shook Danny's hand.
After the handshake ends, Danny gestures to Jazz as he says.
"This is my older sister, Jazz."
"Nice to meet you, too." Brick said as he held out his hand.
After struggling to balance her books into one arm, Jazz shook Brick's hand as she said.
"Likewise, Brick."
Once the introductions were complete, Brick was about to depart before he said to the Fenton siblings.
"I'll see you two around campus."
"Sure." both Danny and Jazz said.
Eventually, the two arrive at their respective lockers, approximately thirty feet away from one another. However, Danny didn't realize that his locker was ironically near a locker that belonged to a certain someone. As the two input their own combinations and opened the doors to place the recently acquired textbooks inside, Danny had a feeling he was being watched. As he subtly glanced around with his eyes, he saw a multitude of female students, including the cheerleading squad staring him, completely lovestruck.
Jazz subtly saw it, too; seeing the attention of the female students directed towards her younger brother. Furthermore, she heard a loving sigh from a group of them, even whispers. She couldn't help but smirk at the sudden attention that Danny was receiving so soon.
For the ghost boy, it was the first time he ever experienced something like this. Back in Casper High, the female population mainly went for Dash or one of the other jocks. However, here in Middleton High, he was the center of attention. As he focused on organizing his locker, Danny thought to himself.
"If Tucker was here seeing this, I think he'd be seriously jealous."
However, a teacher with a bulky, muscular build, in a formal military attire, and a neat flattop haircut, walked in the hallway as he barked.
"All right! All right! This is a high school, not an exotic zoo! GET TO CLASS!"
Upon his shout, the population of female students instantly bolt to avoid receiving detention. Danny breathed a sigh of relief. One would say that the way the girls were ogling at him was pretty uncomfortable for him.
After closing his locker, Danny sees the man staring at him hard as he asks.
"I take it you're new here, aren't you?"
"Yeah." Danny said in response, nervously. "My sister and I just enrolled here, recently."
After looking at their schedules, the man spoke up as he hands them back to the Fenton siblings.
"Oh, I see." he clears his throat. "Steve Barkin. I'm one of the faculty here." he clears his throat. "Just stay out of trouble and we won't have a problem. Welcome to Middleton High."
Once Mr. Barkin walked away, Danny stood there as he whispered to his elder sister.
"This guy can give Mr. Lancer a run for his money."
Suddenly, both of them heard another feminine voice; one that Danny was recently familiar with.
"Danny...?"
Knowing who it belonged to, Danny had a small smile before he turned around to see the very girl he first met upon arriving to Middleton, accompanied by the same boy that he saw during his first ghost patrol in this city. A smle formed almost instantly.
"Kim!"
Once the two shared a quick hug, Jazz smirked as she slyly said.
"So that's why you were excited about coming here."
Danny instantly glared at his elder sister as he whined.
"Jazz...!"
Kim chuckled at the interaction before she approached Jazz with her hand held out.
"I'm Kim Possible."
"Jazz Fenton." Jazz said while shaking Kim's hand. "Nice to meet you."
"Likewise." Kim turns to her company as she said.
"This is my best friend, Ron Stoppable."
"Nice to meet you two."
They heard Danny chuckle before he said.
"I'm sorry, but your name..." He points from Kim to Ron, "And Ron's name... I'm sensing some puns here."
Kim rolled her eyes playfully as she said.
"I know, right."
Suddenly, something pink ran up from the pocket of Ron's pants to his shoulder before it extends its paw while it squeaked
"Hi."
Jazz screamed before jumping behind Danny for "protection" from the tiny rodent. The ghost boy just rose an eyebrow while glancing back at his older sister behind him.
"Don't worry. He's harmless." Ron assures as he takes the rodent into his palm. "This little guy, here, is Rufus. He's a naked mole rat."
Danny was the first to approach as the ghost boy lets the little creature grasp his index and shake it as if he was shaking hands.
"Nice to meet you, too." Danny said to Rufus, feeling a bit silly that he was talking to a naked mole rat.
Jazz was rather hesitant to approach Rufus. However, once she extends her own index finger, the rodent simply grasps it and shakes it, causing her to calm down.
"Sorry. It just... takes some getting used to." Jazz said.
Rufus waves his paw dismissively while squeaking.
Suddenly, they hear the school bell ring before they depart to their classes. With Danny and Jazz, they ran to their respective classrooms for their first period class. As the older of the Fenton siblings made it to hers, the younger made it as well. Much to his surprise, Danny found that he has the same class as Kim and Ron.
"No way! You're in this class, too?!" Ron asks.
"Uh..." Danny looks at his schedule. "Yeah, I guess."
All the while, Danny thinks to himself.
"Oh, great. My first class is Algebra. I hate math."
Suddenly, Mr. Barkin steps in as he said.
"Okay, everyone, listen up! Since your algebra teacher has called out sick, I'll be filling in until she returns!"
Danny's widened in surprise as the substitute teacher took a seat at the desk chair. The ghost boy didn't expect this at all, nor did he notice that some of the female students in his new class were once again ogling at him, except for a certain redhead who only had a small smile when she glanced at him before paying attention to class.
"I wonder how Sam and Tucker are doing without me..." Danny thought to himself as Mr. Barkin began teaching the class.
At Casper High, it was lunchtime as the cafeteria buzzed with activity. Sam and Tucker were at their usual table. The only difference was that Danny wasn't with them anymore. The two teens witnessed Dash giving Mikey a huge texas wedgie for no relevant reason, except for amusement while the nerdy redhead screamed in discomfort. As before, the jock got off scot-free since the faculty turned a blind eye per usual.
"Wish Danny were here to give him a taste of his own medicine." Tucker comments quietly.
"Me too, but he's far away now." Sam said in response.
Ever since Danny moved, there was no more ghost activity in Amity Park. One would say that things went back to normal, but another would say that normal was an understatement.
"I'll bet Danny's new school is similar to this." Sam bemoaned watching the usual display.
If the goth were to place a wager on that claim, she would lose...
Back in Middleton High, after four classes were complete, it was lunchtime as well. Much to Danny's surprise, he has almost same classes with Kim and Ron. Furthermore, Danny and Jazz met Kim's second friend, Monique, who was friendly to the Fenton siblings. However, what surprised him even more was that Mr. Barkin substituted every class that he was in. In his perspective, the man was a far more accomplished teacher than Mr. Lancer could ever be.
Furthermore, Danny saw that bullying was shockingly low, especially when the militarily clad substitute teacher walked around the hallways to ensure that no one was starting up trouble.
To put it simply, things in Middleton High were so surreal for Danny. It was like Middleton High was the polar opposite of Casper High, his old school.
Once he was in the cafeteria, Danny got his tray served with lunch before walking to find a seat. Again, he heard whispers amongst the female students that were merely comments about him. He even subtly saw them ogling at him as well. The stares that he was receiving made him feel unnerved as he thought.
"Okay, why are they still staring at me like that?"
Eventually, Danny sees Kim, Ron, and his sister Jazz at a certain table before the blonde boy waving. Danny alters course before taking a seat with them. Jazz noticed how the female students were gazing at her brother, completely lovestruck as she forced herself to refrain from smirking.
"How do you like it here so far?" Ron asks.
"Well, I'll admit that it's quite the opposite of Casper High." Danny said.
"I have to agree with you on that." Jazz adds.
"How so?" Kim asks in curiosity.
"For starters, no one is turning a blind eye to bullying." Danny comments, knowingly.
"You're kidding?" Monique asks with a raised eyebrow.
"I've witnessed it myself." Jazz clarifies on Danny's behalf. "Casper High's teachers, especially Mr. Lancer always let the jocks get off scot-free, unlike the other students."
"Harsh." Ron comments.
"Ouch." Kim said, completely appalled.
"So wrong." Monique adds with a glare.
"Uh-huh." Rufus squeaked.
Danny and Jazz noticed that no one, not even the faculty, complained about the naked mole rat being on campus. Let alone in the cafeteria.
"Another thing about Casper High; they wouldn't allow pets inside the campus." Danny said.
"Rufus isn't a pet." Ron corrects before hugging Rufus. "He's family."
"Oh." Danny had a look of regret. "Sorry about that."
Ron just smiled before lightly pounding his chest and then making a peace sign while saying in assurance.
"Dude, please. It's all good."
Kim subtly smiled at that. It was then that Monique spoke up to Jazz as she said.
"You know, Jazz, I'm surprised that you're actually sitting with us instead of the seniors' table."
"The seniors' table?" Jazz rose an eyebrow.
Monique, Kim, Ron, and Rufus all point towards a certain table in the cafeteria as Danny and Jazz look in the direction to see that there were, indeed, senior class students there. Furthermore, they had their lunch catered to them.
"Kind of reminds me of the A-Listers' table." Danny thought to himself.
Jazz turned to Monique as she wisely said.
"I may be a senior, but it doesn't mean I should portray myself as being superior to everyone else. I'm just as much of a student as everyone else here."
Monique was astonished by the older redhead's wise words.
"That's pretty humble of you." she comments.
"Never judge a book by its cover." Jazz said.
"So true."
As Danny was about to take a drink of his milk, he heard another feminine voice; one that didn't sound very friendly at all.
"Kim!"
Kim groaned, knowing fully well who it was as she said.
"Bonnie..."
Danny subtly glanced at the tanned brunette he had seen in one of his classes. The way this girl was looking at Kim told him volumes that they don't get along with one another.
"I see you're still able to attend school despite 'saving the world' on a constant basis."
Danny got annoyed when he saw Bonnie use air quotes on that part. As he takes a drink with his eyes closed, he thinks to himself.
"Guess some things never change."
Danny didn't notice Bonnie putting on a sweet smile before the brunette focused her attention on him as she asked.
"So, Danny, sweetie, what do you say you ditch Possible and sit with me at the seniors' table?"
Once Danny finished taking a drink, he was silent at first as he placed his milk carton on the table. However, he opened his eyes with an annoyed look and said without even looking at the girl,
"Take a hike, Bonnie."
For the brunette, time literally came to a screeching halt as Bonnie felt like she recently got slapped in the face by Danny's answer, especially since he wasn't being polite about it. While Kim, Jazz, and Monique had their eyes widened in shock, Ron and Rufus had their jaws dropped when they all heard that. All the while, Bonnie was appalled before she started getting angry.
"Excuse me?" she asks.
Danny looks at Bonnie in the eye as he says.
"You heard. I said, "Take a hike."
It was then that Danny stood up from his seat as his annoyed expression remained when he began to speak again.
"Also, what's with the air quotes? It's not like she's watching TV all day or anything. As far as I'm concerned, you don't appreciate the fact that Kim does what she can to save everyone's lives, including yours!"
Bonnie lets out a dramatic gasp. Here, she was offering Danny to sit with her at the seniors' table, yet he turned down her offer very rudely. Also, he was sticking up for her rival, Kim Possible. Soon, she glared at him while placing her hands on her hips.
"You know what, Danny? I was wrong. You're nothing more than just another loser."
Danny rolled his eyes in annoyance before he returned the glare to the brunette and retorts.
"Well, guess what? I don't care."
With a huff, Bonnie walked away to take her seat at the seniors' table while Danny sat back down while he shook his head in annoyance as he thought.
"Damn. I thought Paulina was bad. Bonnie's worse."
Suddenly, Danny's thoughts were interrupted as Kim spoke up.
"Hey..."
The redhead sees Danny look at her before saying in gratitude.
"Thanks for that."
Danny had a small smile towards Kim, as he said.
"You're welcome."
The rest of the lunch break continued on as everyone went about their business.
Except for a certain brunette who subtly sent a glare towards Danny.
The day in Middleton High ended when the final bell rang. Danny was at his locker, grabbing the textbooks that he needed to complete his homework assignments while placing the unecessary ones into his locker for overnight storage. Right when he was about to close his locker, he heard Ron's voice
"Hey, dude."
"Hey, Ron." Danny greets.
Once Danny closes his locker, Ron asks.
"So, how do you like it here?"
"It's different here than it is over there at my old high school." Danny admits. "Though, I didn't think that Mr. Barkin can teach in so many subjects."
"Oh yeah. Mr. B is quite capable of that." Ron clarified.
"I can wager on that." Jazz adds as she approached her locker. "He even subbed for a few of my classes."
Danny rose an eyebrow at his sister's comment. He wondered, in curiosity, just how many classes that his new teacher could fill in for and teach so efficiently. Another thing that the ghost boy saw was that while Mr. Barkin was extremely strict. He was a fair teacher, just like all of the other faculty in his new school, in comparison to his old one.
Then, Ron said to them
"Well, I better get going." he begins to run off. "See you guys tomorrow."
Meanwhile, in the gym, the cheerleading team recently finished up practice. As they were beginning to pack up, one of them named Crystal said.
"You were right, Tara. Danny is quite a cutie."
"Didn't I tell you?" Tara asked rhetorically.
"Yeah, not bad." another cheerleader naned Jessica comments.
"He seems nice, too." Hope adds.
As Liz and Marcella let out a blissful sigh, only one didn't agree with the others before she scoffed and said.
"Oh, please. Danny's not that impressive, if you ask me."
"And exactly who made a bad impression on him during lunch, Bonnie?" Kim jabbed with a smirk.
Bonnie silently growled at the redhead's jab as she continued to pack up her bag.
Back inside the halls, Danny and Jazz were about to leave the campus when Danny's ghost sense went off. Thankfully, only his sister noticed while everyone was oblivious. Suddenly, the Fenton siblings hear the all-too-familiar obnoxious voice that belonged to a ghostly nuissance.
"BEWARE!"
Danny groaned as the Box Ghost appeared in the hallways as he bellowed.
"I am the Box Ghost! Master of corrugated cardboard and a fifty-dollar bounty on my head have come to claim...!"
While Danny subtly took off to find cover to transform, the rest of the remaining student body screamed in terror, much to the surprise of the Box Ghost before Mr. Barkin, well... barked.
"Evacuate ghost-infested location, people! GO! GO! GO!"
The Box Ghost smiled with pride, seeing that people were fleeing in terror from him as he shouted once more.
"Beware!"
However, the annoying ghost didn't realize that Danny was already in his ghost form before getting tackled and phased through the cafeteria. Once the half-ghost hero kicked his opponent to a good distance, he demanded while remaining on guard.
"What are you doing here, Box Ghost?!"
"You can't stop me this time!" The Box Ghost levitates some boxes. "For I, the Box Ghost, will destroy you with.." he pauses to read the label. "Oh, yeah! The box filled with canisters of delicious parmesan cheese!"
Right when the box glowed and shook violently, Kim entered the cafeteria when she heard commotion to see what was happening...
Only to see the same ghost boy that she saw before at the mall fighting an actual ghost while letting out a shocked gasp.
"It's him." she whispered.
Suddenly, Kim watched the box pop open as it launched a volley of parmesan cheese canisters like missiles. However, Danny narrowed his eyes in annoyance as he simply turned intangible, allowing the plastic projectiles to pass through him harmlessly as they hit a wall behind him with a crash instead.
Instantly, before Danny could even aim his Fenton Thermos, the Box Ghost was suddenly taken down by jump kick from none other than Kim Possible.
"Thought you could use some assistance." Kim said when she saw Danny's look of surprise.
"Oh, there's no need." Danny assured. "The Box Ghost is more a nuissance than a threat."
Said ghost heard that jab as he got up with a hypnic as he shouts.
"HEY! I have feelings, too, you know!"
However, he hears a whine of a device powering up before seeing Danny aiming the thermos before it activates. An energy beam fires from the device as it sucks in the Box Ghost while the ghost tried to resist in vain. Unfortunately, for the obnoxious spook, the thermos sucks him in before Danny seals the cap.
"Got to go."
Danny turns invisible and takes off as Kim calls out.
"Wait!"
Too late. With Danny Phantom gone, Kim looked around to see if there was any sign of him, but found nothing. Then, she heard the door open before turning to the source to see Danny stepping in with a worried look.
"Kim? Are you okay?"
The redhead ran towards Danny with a small relieved smile to see he wasn't harmed. After a small hig, which caused the boy to blush slightly, Kim said in response.
"I'm okay, Danny. It's no big."
"I'm glad that you are." Danny said. "I heard some slamming on the walls, like something plastic hit them."
Kim didn't know that Danny said that in order to throw off suspicion, which was working like a charm as the redhead said.
"Yeah. Danny Phantom was here, again. I don't know who that other ghost was, but he was right about the other one being a nuissance."
Danny just shrugged at Kim's words. Suddenly, Kim's Kimmunicator goes off.
"Go Wade."
"Kim, I got a hit." Wade informs. "Someone is breaking into a top-secret facility just north of your location."
"Thanks, Wade." Kim said before cutting the transmission. "I got to go."
"Before you go, I was wondering..." Danny paused. "Well, perhaps we could spend time... with one another, if it's okay?"
"You mean, like a date?" Kim asks in curiosity.
"Well, if you want to call it that?" Danny said hesitantly.
Kim smiled before she said to him.
"I'd like that. In fact, I'll give you a tour of Middleton while we're at it."
Danny began to blush as he said.
"I... I guess I'll meet you on Saturday, then."
"Please and thank you." Kim said with a smile.
Before leaving, Kim wrote something on a piece of paper before handing it to Danny.
"I better go." Kim lightly kissed Danny's cheek. "I'll see you tomorrow."
After the redhead went through the doors, Danny looked at the paper in his hand as his curiosity piqued. He slowly unfolded it, only to see that Kim wrote her number and email address. Due to the cafeteria being empty, Danny threw his arms up as he shouts in triumph.
"YES!"
In Amity Park, school ended for the day at Casper High. While the ghost attacks came to a complete stop, things were quite different for two certain individuals.
"Damn. Barely a week, and I already miss Danny hanging with us like the old days." Tucker comments.
"You and I both, Tuck." Sam said in agreement.
Then, the goth girl started to ponder for a minute before an idea hatched in her mind.
"Say. How about we head to Middleton over the weekend and pay Danny a visit?" Sam suggested.
Tucker thought for a moment before he saw nothing wrong in traveling to another city to visit their best friend.
"Yeah, that'll be cool." he said in agreement. "We just need to contact Danny first and let him know."
Tucker also thought to himself.
"As long as we stay away from Bueno Nacho."
Sam nods at Tucker's response.
Back in Middleton, hours passed, and it was now dark. Kim recently returned home from her mission and is currently in her room. Then, her mother, Ann Possible walked in as the redhead teen asked.
"Mom, can I ask you something?"
Thankfully, Kim's father wasn't home yet. In the girl's perspective, he means well, but he can be overprotective and embarrassing at times.
"Yes, Kimmie?"
"What was it like when you... developed a crush on Dad?" Kim asks.
Ann smiled fondly, as if memories instantly returned to her mind, before she said to her daughter in response.
"Well... let me put it this way, Kimmie; it's like... a magnetic attraction between two opposites. You feel flustered, excited, and quite eager to form a bond." Ann looks at her daughter. "I take it that you met someone new?"
Kim blushed before she hesitantly answered.
"Yeah. Since last week when he moved here. His name is Danny Fenton."
Ann pondered for a minute, trying to remember where she heard the name from. Suddenly, she lets out a slight gasp before she asks.
"Did this Danny Fenton tell you where he's from?"
"Yes. He said he's from Amity Park before he and his family moved here." Kim said. "Why?"
"Oh dear." Ann said. "Did he say his parents are Jack and Maddie Fenton, by any chance?"
"No. Danny didn't tell me their names, but he did tell me that they're scientists that hunt ghosts." Kim said. "Also, I encountered one ghost named Danny Phantom, twice over."
"I've heard of him." Ann said. "From my understanding, he's actually a hero. I'm just curious as to know what brought him here."
Kim just shrugged before she went back on topic as she said to her mother.
"Anyway, as I was saying. Danny is pretty cute. Not to mention, he's a nice guy as well." Kim looks at her mother in the eye. "And easy to talk to."
Ann smiled as she said.
"Sounds like you're attracted to him."
"Yes." Kim said with a smile. "He even asked me out, in a way, for this weekend."
"Well, Kimmie. I can say that it's worth a try." Ann suggested.
"But, please don't tell Dad." Kim pleads. "I'm not sure how he'll react to this."
"Don't worry." Ann assured. "I'll make sure he doesn't get wind of this."
Kim hugged her mother as she said.
"Thanks, mom."
"Anytime."
Done. Stay tuned for the next chapter where Sam and Tucker visit Middleton to see Danny, but things do not go as planned for them.
"Well, that was a good chapter." pokemon fan 1991 complimented as he stood up.
"Thanks. I appreciate it." guardian1989 said with gratitude. "And thanks for letting your friend handle Wade."
"Pika!" Pikachu said with a thumbs up gesture.
"Well, we'd love to stick around, but we got to get going ourselves." Yakko said.
"I'm surprised Wade didn't return." Wakko comments.
"He's probably still out-cold from Pikachu shocking him." the host said with a shrug.
"Well, see you next time." Dot daid.
"Same to you."
Once the Warners left, pokemon fan 1991 and Pikachu were getting ready to depart as well.
"Thanks for allowing me to bring Pikachu here." the guest author said.
"No worries." guardian1989 said. "He saved me time to give Wade the boot."
After a nod, pokemon fan 1991 and Pikachu left the realm as the host started to turn off the lights before facing the audience once more.
"Til next time, readers."
The realm goes dark.
