The day had finally come. As Lucas waited for the others at Dagobah Beach, he knew this was the day that he became a hero.

The first to arrive was Tsu. Lucas felt the warmth rise to his cheeks as soon as he saw her. Sure, ever since the Entrance Exam, he had always thought she was adorable, but now that he knew they'd be able to spend time together, and was able to see her in the school uniform, he thought she looked downright beautiful.

Jesus, first day and I have a crush on my best friend. If that isn't a stereotype, I don't know what is. Lucas thought to himself, but managed a smile.

"Nervous?" He asked her.

Tsu fidgeted with her hands, not meeting Lucas' gaze, but returned the smile. "A little, ribbit."

Lucas chuckled, used to this. He knew that the more nervous or upset Tsu was, the more her more frog like tendencies tended to come out. "Tsu, breathe. You're going to do amazing, I just know it. If UA doesn't see that, then I will walk out, no hesitation."

Tsu's eyes widened as she looked up at Lucas, as though trying to find some sense of deception. "You really would do that for me, wouldn't you?" She asked softly.

Lucas' smile was warm as he hugged Tsu. "In a heartbeat." He promised her, taking a deep breath and building up his courage. "Speaking of, I was wondering if after class you'd want to-"

"There you guys are, come on, we're gonna miss the train!" Ochako's voice rang out as she waved to the pair, Izuku not far behind.

Yep, that sounds about right. Lucas thought dryly, running with Tsu to catch up to their friends.

"She does realize that the train doesn't come for another hour, right?" Tsu asked with a smile

"Ah, lets give her this, she's excited." He chuckled, reminding himself to properly ask Tsu out at a later time, feeling his phone vibrate. He pulled it out, seeing an unknown number. Eyebrow raised, he turned to Tsu. "You go on ahead, I need to take this." He told her.

"Don't hang up the phone, I promise to be brief." The voice boomed when Lucas answered the call. He recognized the voice immediately: All Might. Lucas knew that this was coming and decided that he wanted to be the one to bite the bullet.

"Me first, Mr. All Might." I say with a deep breath. "Look, I know I shouldn't even have this power. It should all be Izuku's, I get that. If there's any way for me to give it up, I will."

For a while, there was silence on the other end. "Young Knight, I know your mother. She has vouched for you, informing all of us at UA that you could've gotten in on recommendation, but chose to fight for your spot anyway. That, given with what you have just told me tells me that between you and Young Midoriya, my power is in the safest hands it can be. I would ask that you and Izuku meet me this Saturday so that I may train you to use One For All properly, if you would like."

"I appreciate that, sir. I'll see you this Saturday." Lucas said before hanging up, jogging to catch up with Izuku while the girls were a ways ahead of them.

Ochako & Tsu

"So what were you and Lucas talking about?" Ochako asked slyly.

"He was calming me down, I'm still nervous about UA, ribbit." Tsu said, looking back to see Lucas and Izuku animatedly discussing something. She could only hear bits and pieces through the loud clamor of the city. She definitely heard "All Might", "Stars and Stripes", "Endeavor" and "Aether Knight". They must've been talking about the top heroes in Japan and the US. Still though, Tsu couldn't help it, her heart fluttered whenever she looked at Lucas. "He was going to ask me something when someone interrupted."

Ochako gasped. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you guys. Wait..." She glanced back at Lucas and Izuku. "...you don't think he was going to ask you out, do you?"

Tsu shook her head sadly. "I mean, look at him. Handsome, sweet, funny, selfless... of course I have feelings for him. But why would he feel the same way? I'm just some girl who acts like a frog. No, I'm sure he just sees me as a friend. And that's all we'll ever be."

"Hush, if Lucas can't love you for you, then he doesn't deserve love." Ochako said firmly. "Besides, I've seen the way he looks at you when he thinks nobody's looking. That boy is head over heels for you."

"But what if she says no? That would change our whole friendship, you know? I don't wanna lose her." Lucas asked, sighing.

"L-Look Lucas, I have about as much experience as you do. But... if there's one thing I do know, is that you won't know unless you ask. Which means..." Izuku grinned and pushed Lucas towards Tsu while Ochako did the same to Tsu, pushing her towards Lucas.

Lucas and Tsu

"Hi." Lucas said intelligently, his face bright red

"Hi, ribbit." Tsu croaked, her face equally crimson.

Both of them both knew that had so much to say, but no words came out. From Izuku and Ochako's perspective, it was actually quite comical. They always saw Lucas as cool and composed, if not a little goofy, so seeing him now as a shy blushing mess was kind of hilarious

On the other side of the coin was Tsu, who was rather blunt and wasn't afraid to speak her mind, but now found that words failed her.

"Just saying that if neither of you starts talking in the next 30 seconds, I'm outing both of youuuuuu~" Ochako teased in a sing song voice.

"I-I don't think we need to go that far." Izuku said, but Lucas knew that Ochako was right. It was now or never.

They both took a deep breath and began to count down from 5...

"Do you want to go on a date after school?" Both asked at the same time before letting the words sink in. They both wanted this.

Ochako was right... He likes me. He actually likes me... She thought, eyes shining with unshed tears as she ran forward and hugged Lucas, burying her head in his chest. "I'd love to..." she whispered.

The train ride to UA was thankfully a quieter affair, though Izuku couldn't help but smile where he saw that Lucas and Tsu were holding hands the entire time. He was happy for them, genuinely. He had seen and heard from Lucas just how much he cared for her, so the two of them being together was a foregone conclusion. As for him and Ochako... well truth be told, Izuku didn't really know what he wanted, romantically. He knew he wasn't asexual or aromantic (mostly because the author is a straight white dude who doesn't think he'd be giving any asex or aro readers proper representation. If you want a good story of asex/aro Izuku, read A Point of Singularity by SexyDexy), and thanks to regularly being around Ochako and Tsu over the summer, he was no longer the shy mess he was around girls. That being said, he still wasn't very sure what he wanted. He knew he wanted a relationship, one day, but with who, he just didn't know. Maybe he'd meet that special someone in class, he supposed.

Ochako, however, was a different story. She knew in her heart that she loved Izuku. It wasn't hero complex from him saving her at the test or anything like that, which she was afraid of. But she couldn't help but love everything about him. His mop of curly green hair, the way his smile could light up a room, the adorable splash of freckles across his face, his endless optimism, the genuine love and care he had for everyone. How could she not fall hopelessly in love? She couldn't help but watch Lucas and Tsu holding hands, her best friend resting her head on her other best friend's shoulder, with a sense of longing. She knew Izuku wasn't ready for a relationship. She knew that his parents divorce was a sore spot and was probably the cause. But she knew that she would wait forever to be with him, if necessary.

Orientation

"It's me, Nezu, the one who could be a dog or a mouse or a bear, but more importantly... I'm the principal!" Nezu said as he stood on stage, looking over at the united classes: 1-A, 1-B, 2-A, 2-B, 3-A, 3-B, Support, Business and General Studies. "Now, traditionally, as some of the older students remember, the teachers normally do not have you go to Orientation and instead jump straight into teaching. That is not the case this year, as there have been some changes due to a rather sizable donation coming from a top hero over at the US. The major one being that we have implemented dormitories for each class." There was a murmur of excitement at these words. "Now of course, these dormitories are completely optional, you have no obligation to use them if you don't want to. I would only ever make them mandatory if I felt like the safety of my students were in jeopardy."

"Next, we have decided to delay the UA Sports Festival." There was a loud grumbling, particularly from the upperclassmen at Nezu's words. "Traditionally, we would hold these your second week of classes. However, in the spirit of fairness to the non-hero classes who may want to take a spot from the Hero Course, we realize that doesn't really leave them with much room to train. So, we have decide to push the festival to one month from today. That is all, if you would follow your homeroom teacher, they will lead you to your classrooms."

I guess that makes sense. Lucas thought to himself as he got up, smiling as he felt Tsu immediately intertwine her fingers with his. The Gen Ed students Quirks, while they can certainly be useful, are rarely flashy enough to warrant attention. Chalk that up with most of them probably not having Quirks that would help them beat the robots in the Entrance Exam, and they're in a no-win situation. The Sports Festival is their one shot at getting them noticed.

As Lucas walked into the 1-A Classroom, he was relieved (and somewhat nervous) to see some familiar faces. There was the blonde with the explosive powers, who seemed to be in a heated argument with the blue haired guy with glasses. That's not gonna be a fun conversation. Lucas thought as he looked around, smiling as he saw that Izuku saved him a seat between him and Tsu, with Ochako right behind him.

"You can all socialize later, for now get to the locker room and put on your gym clothes. We're starting with your Quirk Apprehension Test." Their teacher, Mr. Aizawa said, sounding completely checked out and utterly exhausted.

As the class made their way to their respective locker rooms, Eijiro spoke up, taking his shirt off to put on his gym uniform "So what the hell is a Quirk Apprehension Test anyway?" He asked

Lucas pulled on his uniform as well. "You remember those old fitness tests we all had to do back in high school? It's basically that, we're just allowed to use our Quirks this time. Usually it's done on the first day to get a baseline for how each person's quirk works and how strong it is at the beginning of the year. Then we'll probably do it again at the end of the year." He looked at his classmates who were all staring at him like he had grown a second head, save for Izuku and Todoroki. "...What? My mum is a hero, she knows these things."

"Back up, your mom is a Pro Hero? Who?" Denki Kaminari asked, his eyes wide.

"...I'm not exactly ready to say. Maybe once we get all settled at the dorms. It's... not exactly a story I want to tell twice." Lucas said quietly.

"Tch, just another sob story from another extra, I bet." Bakugo muttered, shoving his way past Lucas and Izuku.

...The fuck is his problem? Lucas thought to himself. He knew enough about the bad blood between him and Izuku to see there was history there, but Izuku never really went into specifics.

"Just ignore him, Lucas. He's a dick to everybody. Thinks he's God's gift to the world just because he was blessed with a powerful Quirk." Izuku muttered with a surprising amount of bitterness in his voice.

"Regardless, we must hurry, it would not do to be late to out first day." Iida said, his arm moving almost robotically as he spoke.

"He does have a point. We would be making a poor impression if we were late because we were to busy talking." Tokoyami said, folding his arms as he left the locker room.

Lucas nodded, holding his fist out to Izuku. "Ready to show them what we're made of?"

Izuku couldn't help but grin, bumping Lucas' fist. "Let's show them what Plus Ultra means."

And so the Orientation Arc Begins! Next time, Quirk Assessment!

Not much to talk about here, I got lucky the first couple chapters by having some SERIOUS inspiration and was able to pump them out daily. I don't expect that to remain the case forever though, so sorry if chapters end up being a little inconsistent.

Though I have been considering something: How would you guys feel if I made Lucas poly? I didn't necessarily want to do a harem, but the more I keep thinking, the more relationships I want Lucas to have because they fit kind of well.

Specifically, I kinda want the main relationship to be Lucas, Tsu, Himiko, Mei and Melissa. I have a storyline planned for Himiko and Melissa, Mei I just like her as a character and Tsu... well duh, she's going to be the main ship. But what do you guys think? Should I go all in on the polycule or just keep it Lucas and Tsu?

I'm also still curious if you guys want to see IzuOcha or other pairings, so please let me know there.

And as always, thanks for reading! Be safe, drive the speed limit and love one another. Pizza!
