Eddie swore if anyone but Steve saw him like this, he would have to change his name and leave the state—slow dancing in the middle of the trailer to goddamn Tears for Fears. A few months ago, he would have laughed at the thought. But then Steve kissed him one night, and as they say, the rest is history.

"You know, I really hate this song."

Steve just laughed, pulling him closer so their chests were pressed together. They were more swaying on the spot than dancing now, too caught up in each other to notice. This kind of attention used to embarrass Eddie, but he was getting used to it. Steve wasn't one to hide his affection. Hence the dancing, at least once a week. In the beginning, Eddie stepped on his feet more often than not. Now, he could manage a slow dance without knocking anything over or bruising toes.

"Seriously! Tears for Fears?"

"No, you don't hate it," Steve argued back playfully. "If you did, you'd have changed the song by now."

"I'm thinking about it." But even as Eddie let go of Steve's hip to reach for the player, it was immediately caught and pressed between their chests. He smiled, leaning in to kiss Steve. "Thought so."

"Songs almost over."

Sure enough, it ended after another minute, and Steve let him go. Eddie was quick to rewind the tape, pulling Steve back in as the song started again.

"Thought you hated it?" Steve teased.

"I guess I kinda love it, just like you." That earned him another kiss, and Eddie smiled against Steve's lips, spinning him around a little too fast, but they didn't hit anything. "Don't tell anyone, though."
