Alys stood at the helm of her ship as they approached Drommund Kaas. The Dark Council had relocated temporarily on the planet as Vaiken Spaceport prepared a more permanent home for them. The Council had been called, and Marr had requested Alys to make an appearance. He didn't explain what the matter was, but he said that it was important for the Wrath to be present.

Once on the planet, Alys brought her small detail of Jaesa and Quinn. Pierce and Vette were stationed to guard the ship. Broonmark could go where he liked, and Alys suspected that he would patrol the jungle to bloody his claws. It was a good outlet for the Talz, and it kept him more compliant at other times.

Alys walked with purpose with her best armor and pauldrons that were nearly three feet long. Jaesa and Quinn followed quickly behind her as they made their way to the entrance. Alys motioned for Quinn to call for a shuttle as Jaesa held her hand over her weapon. Alys held her hands behind her back before Quinn returned to her side. She glared at people walking by, imagining that they were the enemy. She needed to make her presence and malice known, otherwise people would question her.

Soon, the shuttle landed in front of them, and Quinn stepped on the vessel first before bowing to his commander. It was the signal that the coast was clear and there were no surprises. Alys and Jaesa stepped onto the shuttle and Alys leaned back in her seat. Jaesa sat behind her, monitoring the shuttle with her power. Quinn stood by the pilot deck, making sure that there were no sudden moves from the imperials.

The shuttle ride was smooth and uneventful, which was a relief. The attempts on Alys's life had diminished, but she always made a point to be careful. The ship landed on the platform in front of the Sith Enclave as Alys and her entourage walked into the building. Imperial soldiers and workers stopped to salute and bow. Most of the sith at least acknowledged her, but she ignored them. They weren't interested in getting on her good side. They were interested in taking her position and her power.

"I doubt the council will allow you two to witness," Alys whispered once out of earshot of anyone. Quinn nodded imperceptibly before he and Jaesa guarded the elevator. Alys stepped on the platform before she lowered it. It was a private elevator that the council deemed for her use so she could come and go from meetings without causing interruptions. It was seen as a gift from the dark lords.

Alys stepped out from her hidey hole and stood in the shadows, but she could sense that her presence wasn't unnoticed. Marr was the first to look at her, and he nodded before continuing with the council meeting. They were talking about the new Isotype-5 and Malgus's defeat, and how they could win the war from there. The war was dwindling, and with both the jedi and sith home worlds in near ruins, it was time to regroup.

With her head held high, she watched as they bickered and complained without offering solutions. Nothing to offer that would end this war, only to prolong the endless fighting. Alys guarded her thoughts as Vowrawn had taught her after Baras. She was afraid that the council would feel her disgust with their warmongering, and that spelled danger.

Alys stared at each council member as they spoke about the fighting and how they could try to win the conflict. Marr stared at her, and she felt it before she met his masked gaze. His shoulders shifted in a huff, and Alys could feel his intense irritation. It matched hers, and Alys realized why she had been called to council. Marr wanted her to see what was going on and to see how discombobulated they had become.

Soon, the council ended, and she retreated into her shadows. She leaned against the elevator's wall and waited for Marr. She figured that he wanted to speak with her about the meeting. Marr walked into her field of vision, but he kept a respectable distance. Alys stood on her own and she held her hands behind her back.

"That was quite a show," she grumbled with a frown.

"Unfortunately, that is what these meetings have become. Without the emperor, there is no one to keep them in line outside of each other," Marr replied evenly.

"Do you have a solution in mind?"

"Not yet, but I wanted to clue you in on what's been happening. The Empire has equal footing again, thanks to you, but it may not be enough," Marr explained before he started to pace. "The Republic remains united while we bicker amongst ourselves. Nothing has changed."

"Then we must plan something that moves the council out of this mess. We need to find something to unite us against the enemy," Alys suggested as Marr nodded.

"That's exactly what I wanted to hear. I will keep you appraised of these meetings, and I will warn you when that miracle is within reach," Marr replied as he folded his arms. "I appreciate the time you took to visit us, Wrath."

"Keep me updated, Marr," she replied with a tip of her head. Without waiting another moment, she hit the elevator button, and she returned to the upper levels.

Alys motioned for her captain and apprentice to follow her as they left the enclave. They were at her heels again as they approached the taxi station. It was the only way between the enclave and the rest of Kaas City. Quinn inspected the speeder when it landed in front of them before he helped her into her seat. Jaesa climbed in after them before the taxi took them back downtown.

The sith pulled out her datapad from her lengthy sith robes and started to go through it. There were order manifests and receipts that she needed to approve for her ship. Quinn cleared his throat as they approached, and she handed him the device. She hadn't finished sifting through the forms, and the captain could finish them as she kept up her menacing appearance. Jaesa pulled up her hood as the taxi landed on the other side of the ravine. Alys followed her captain out of the vehicle with Jaesa just behind.

"Finish grabbing the supplies for the ship," Alys instructed her captain under her breath. He bowed his head before he left, knowing better than to argue with her in public. "Contact me when you are finished."

As Quinn went into the market, Alys guided her apprentice away from the busy part of the city. She went to one of the walls and stared into the mountains of the jungle. Jaesa followed her gaze, but she couldn't see what her teacher saw. Alys frowned as she drummed her fingers long the guard rail.

It had been years since she had heard about the Order of Revan, a shadowy cult in the forest. She had first heard about it when she was an apprentice herself, and she had been accepted into the fold. She was a Revanite, but Alys wondered how much of her membership was valid now. She had never forgotten the teachings of those masters, and she used them to guide her to where she was today. But if they had infiltrated the Republic as well, then what was the end goal? She remembered their leader saying that she wanted to liberate the emperor from the dark council. With the emperor dead, then what was going on?

"What's wrong?" Jaesa whispered as Alys shook her head.

"I'm just thinking," she murmured before she turned away from the jungle. "I'm concerned about what our mission might be regarding Manaan."

"Ah, I see," Jaesa nodded. "Captain Quinn has the same concerns."

"I've heard them. What about Vette and Pierce?" Alys wondered. Before they had touched down on Drommund Kaas, Alys explained what had happened on Manaan and that it was confidential. The last thing they needed was to be associated with treason. From what she saw, the crew took it well and didn't question her.

"Vette trusts your judgement completely. She feels neither concern nor worry for the situation. Pierce has his reservations, but he has seen your commitment to the Empire and her interests. He has some concerns, but he is still willing to follow you to the ends of the galaxy," Jaesa replied as Alys nodded.

"Good, that's what I needed to hear," Alys nodded, fighting an urge to smile at her apprentice. Jaesa bowed her head towards her teacher before Alys guided them away from the edge.

"Later, I would like to hear your thoughts about Manaan."

"I will grant you that," Alys whispered as they walked past a few soldiers. She glared at them before they picked up the pace.

Alys went through the market with Jaesa as they kept their guard up. The crowd parted for her as they walked by as vendors offered fantastic sales. Alys waved her hand in disinterest as she was looking for her captain. Quinn appeared near a store front as he was discussing payment for the supplies he procured. When he noticed her, he stood at attention as the vendor bowed deeply.

"Finish up quickly," she instructed as the vendor hastily handed over the receipt.

"Pleasure doing business with you, milord," the vendor informed before he folded himself in front of her. She grimaced before she turned around, leaving the vendor scared for his life. Quinn pressed a button on the crate to make it hover and follow them. He kept the supplies between him and Alys in case anyone tried anything. He doubted it, but there was a first for everything.

They made their way back to the spaceport, calling a shuttle once they were at the city gates. On any other planet, Alys would have walked the rest of the way, but that wasn't fitting of a lord of her stature. She wasn't supposed to be traveling the jungles with only her apprentice and ship's captain. It also left too much to chance, as many were looking to usurp her position.

They went through customs seamlessly and Quinn took the supplies on board. Alys had Jaesa look over the manifest to make sure that the ship was up to par before they left while she went onto the ship. As per usual, she went straight into her quarters and closed the door. She let her pauldrons slam onto the floor as they slid off her shoulders. With a sigh, she laid back on her bed and closed her eyes. Another appearance as the Wrath of the Emperor had gone smoothly and menacingly.

Alys hadn't kept track of the time when a knock came at her door. She reached out into the Force to see that it was Vette before she told her to come in. The twi'lek entered her room and shut the door behind them. Alys sat up and threw her legs over the edge of the bed. Vette grabbed her chair from the corner and sat down.

"What's going on?" Alys asked as Vette sighed.

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay," she answered with a shrug. Alys knit her eyebrows together, wondering what caused her worry. "I think the whole ship heard your argument with the captain the other day."

"Ah," Alys whispered before she sighed. "He, uh wasn't too pleased to see me speaking so casually with two jedi while we were on Manaan. He had some choice words when we made it back to the ship."

"Need me to lean into him?" Vette asked before Alys chuckled.

"No, we've worked it out," she smiled.

"I do have another question though. You trusted this jedi so readily, and you were right in a way. How did you know to trust her?" Vette wondered. Alys pressed her lips together before glancing at the door. No one was eavesdropping on the other end, and she could sense the others were preoccupied. With a sigh, she nodded.

"I had a vision when we were on Kashyyyk," Alys began before she went into the vision. She talked about how the crew was unconscious while this jedi defended Alys's people. The jedi fought off both republic and imperial soldiers before they all were defeated. The emotion that poured out of the jedi was refreshing and startling, and she mentioned the words that still haunted her. Save them.

"Save them? Save who?" Vette asked as Alys shrugged.

"I don't know, but I haven't had a vision this strong before. And that jedi was Iris. Somehow, she's tied to me, or something. I would talk to another sith about this, but I don't have anyone I can trust," Alys groaned before she held her face in her hands. "Vowrawn is the only one I can think of, but I doubt he would be so impartial to listen to my treasonous vision without repercussions. The Wrath having visions of a jedi savior? That's insanity."

"What about that agent Beniko? She also worked with the jedi, maybe she could share some insight?" Vette suggested as Alys slowly nodded.

"Maybe. I'll think about it. I don't know if I can trust her with this just yet."

"You trusted a jedi."

"For very specific circumstances. We trusted each other to get out alive. I don't know if I can trust Lana with the fact that I had a vision about said jedi," Alys reframed as Vette shrugged.

"Hey, you're the sith. I'm not good with politics," Vette joked as Alys drew her in a hug. "Oh, this is new."

"Thank you," Alys whispered into her friend's shoulder.

"Anything for the galaxy's sweetest of sith lords," she teased as they drew apart. "I won't mention the vision to anyone else."

"That would be much appreciated."

"Your secret is safe with me. I should make sure that the engines are prepped before we take off."

"Where would we be without you?"

"Probably vacationing on Ziost," Vette teased before she left the room. Alys smiled to herself as the door closed again, and she found peace again for a moment. She was glad that Vette was in her life.
