When the lights finally stopped flashing in a kaleidoscope of colours you found yourself failing onto a squishy pink ground. Squishy ground that was quickly beginning to disintegrate away as your black blood splashed on it.

Still, forcing yourself to stand up, you looked around to discover that you were somehow in a completely different place.

A vast open place that was covered in pinkish trees and seemed to have many cliffs and caves as far as you could see. You didn't know how you got here, but it didn't matter.

Getting up, you ignore the pain from the splitting of freshly formed scabs.

You were gonna get back and you were going to rip that blue thing to pieces.

[Your personality is updated: You got a vendetta against ice birds, you will kill them when you can.]

First thing first though, you needed to know where you were.

Which you began doing the moment a large enough layer of your muscles regrew for you to walk around with decent speed. A speed that increased to your normal one as you rapidly healed in the first small portion of your exploration.

Which allowed you to quickly go around your new locations… which was weird.

Filled with weird trees, ravines that had fog at the bottom and with those weird floating things that floated along the wind currents. It all looked like it wasn't meant to be here, like it should be somewhere else.

It was also filled with weak monsters that barely bothered to get away from you, which was great. Along with small metal outcrops everywhere.

Finishing your exploration of your strange new surroundings, you go and find one of the mountains and begin digging. Using your claws to tear material out of the side of the mountain, your tail to compact the stone into the sides and at some points you even took bites out of the mountain.

Because you were beginning to feel tired and you'd need a den. Which you had by the time you finished.

With the final thing you did being finding a huge boulder and blocking the entrance with it, you being able to see fairly well in the complete dark.

Then you lay down and slept, dreaming of revenge.

Day 2

You wake up slightly hungrier than yesterday.

Which isn't saying much, but since you hadn't done stretches beforehand it was notable

Moving the boulder away from the front of your den, you once again leave to go explore your surroundings.

This time paying far more attention to your surrounding, mostly due to not being in pain from the having freshly regrown skin. Which actually let you realise that most of the monsters around you were going in one direction.

Which, when you followed it, led you to a small hilly area absolutely flush with prey and metal outcrops.

You even thought you saw a human for a moment, but it just turned out to be an oddly green shrub.

Seeing as you just found a place with so much weak prey you did the only logical thing.

That being you began murdering literally every weak prey you could see. Grabbing and snapping the backs of the smaller ones, and clubbing the slightly bigger ones to death with your tail.

By the time you decided to stop you had a pile of corpses even taller than your current size.

Really, it was way too easy when the prey just stayed there to hiss at you, and sometimes not even that, when you approached them.

*crack*

*whump*

With the pile of food prepared there was only really one thing left to do. Get hungry. Which is why you were currently stretching.

Something that made you appreciate the fact that you compacted the stone on the wall. Because otherwise, you were sure, the small quake that went through the ground upon each crack of your spine would've definitely collapsed your den if it was made of loose stones.

Once you finished the last of the stretching you finally turned to the pile of dead prey.

Then, letting out all the air in your lungs, you inhaled. A short while, and a lot of meat later, you fell onto the floor with a loud thud. Having eaten more than you've ever eaten before.

Enough to just sleep the moment you hit the ground.

Day 3

When you woke up you were still over-stuffed with food, barely managing to roll over and get up.

Still, barely or not, you still managed.

Feeling the food almost at the back of your throat you once again begin the process of burning it. And so you, once again, spend a chunk of your day stretching.

*Crack*

*Whump*

At least you felt stronger by the end of it… which gave you hints of something in your mind.

With your stomach no longer trying to push out the food you once again left your new den, this time to hunt for something big.

Which you found in the central area of the whole land. Quite quickly even.

And you'll admit. You'll enjoy killing the unaware pink winged things before you.

Slowly you crawled, on all six, towards the oblivious creature. This time being extra careful not to mess up like last time.

And once you were close enough?

You blasted forward and dug the glowing black claw of two of your limbs into the it's wings, grabbing the main bones in them.

*Snap*

Then you twisted and broke the wing bone like it was a tree branch, to the point that the sharp edges poked through the pink scaled skin. All of which, of course, caused it to let out a rather loud roar right into your ears.

But you ignored that, instead using your grip on it's freshly broken wings to jerk it towards you before puncturing its main body with the your free clawed limbs. When one of your claws hits something hard, you just rip it out to do even more damage.

Causing it to go limp immediately.

Looking at what you pulled out, you find yourself looking at another crystal. In fact, you see two of them, one a deep red and the other a purple with glowing blue veins.

Looks like killing it was good for more than your mood.

Picking up the corpse with your a free limb, the two crystal in another, you proceed to return to your den. Walking past a clearing with some green leaves being blown around as you did so.

Once you finally returned to your den, with the boulder once again covering the entrance, you sat down and began your meal.

Starting first of all with the actual corpse, which you tore apart with great speed. It didn't surprise you that it tasted weird.

[? 2/7]

[Eternity engine] altered

[Flame injection] aspect unlocked

Once you finally finished eating it, feeling a change in your chest as you did so, you finished your meal by swallowing both crystals in one gulp.

Something which caused your body centre to momentarily heat up, along with your body to release a blue mist for the moment. By the time these two things stopped, you instinctively knew the differences in your body.

And just like that you were stronger, like every other time you ate crystal.

[Flame injection] - [Inferno injection]

[Streamstone] eaten

Feeling the increase in strength you decided to continue the momentum of improvements.

And so you proceeded to beat yourself non-stop for a good while. At least until you managed to knock yourself out with a well-placed hit to the head with your tail.

Day 4

Waking up, the first thing you did was check your scales to see if they had improved.

Sadly, they hadn't. But your tail and claws seemed to have!

Still, you weren't quite done with the strengthening and so you got back to it. This time switching to the stretches.

*Crack*

*Whump*

And once again you saw improvements, with the sound from your joints cracking being louder. Along with the shockwaves being a bit more intense.

Then, with most of the bodily improvements out of the way, you decided that it was time to do something to relax.

So you found a tall cliff, one with sharp rocks at the bottom. Then you climbed all the way to the peak.

Then you leapt straight off.

And sure, this was also a form of strengthening. But seeing as it didn't really cause much stress to you and the fact that you enjoyed the process also made it an incredibly fun thing to do.

Still, you actually ended up having quite a bit of time to think, seeing as you fell down surprisingly slowly, so you spent it wondering how you'd improve your abilities better.

Eventually though, you had to stop your jumping off the mountain, due largely in part to the massive crater you were beginning to form at the base.

Once you did stop you then decided to go explore this place for the day. And you meant explore in the lowest way possible as it was more you just wanting to go look around the place at a casual pace and relaxed attention.

Something which didn't exactly aid you in finding interesting things.

But, seeing as you'd spent a good half of the day wandering, you did find one interesting thing. An large ravine that had yellow fog at the bottom and emanated a familiar scent of flesh piles.

But you didn't exactly have time to go down for the day, especially with how sleepy you were getting.

So instead you just went to your den and went to sleep.
