Godzilla lumbered toward the fallen Angel, Sachiel's twisted and broken body laying in the wreckage of Tokyo-3. Without hesitation, Godzilla reached down, its massive claws wrapping around the angel's head. With a single, effortless movement, Godzilla lifted the entire weight of the creature off the ground, holding it high above the ruined city. Sachiel's once formidable presence now seemed insignificant in the grasp of the God of Destruction.
As Godzilla examined the limp form, its burning gaze fell upon a glowing red core, a dome-like structure embedded in the angel's chest. The source of its life force. Without pause or reflection, Gojira raised its other hand and placed it firmly on the core, its claws digging into the fragile surface. With a swift, crushing motion, Godzilla squeezed—shattering the core like brittle glass. The light that once flickered within the angel's body instantly vanished. Sachiel's life force dissipated in an instant, snuffed out as if it had never existed.
For a brief moment, Godzilla paused. The absence of life, the sudden void where there had once been resistance, seemed to register with the creature. A low growl, almost like a rumble of dissatisfaction, escaped its throat. This enemy had been weaker than expected, its end swift and unsatisfying.
Disappointed, Gojira turned and threw the angel's lifeless body away. The remains of Sachiel flew across the ruined battlefield, its form disintegrating into dust, vanishing into the air as though it had never been. A mere afterthought in the wake of Gojira's destructive power.
Then, slowly, Gojira turned its head toward the city of Tokyo-3. Its burning blue eyes scanned the ruins, the fractured skyline, and the human structures that dared to stand in its presence. The once-menacing growl returned, this time deeper, more ominous. With the angel gone, there was nothing left to challenge its might.
In the command center, a suffocating silence fell over the room.
"Commander," Misato breathed, her heart racing. "It's looking at the city…"
Ritsuko, her face pale, spoke slowly. "Gojira… it's finished with Sachiel. But now… what happens next?"
Gendo remained still, watching intently as Godzilla's eyes fixed on Tokyo-3. His fingers steepled beneath his chin, he spoke with a voice both calm and dark. "Now… we witness the true nature of destruction."
The primal force that was Gojira had turned its gaze toward the remnants of civilization. And in that moment, Tokyo-3 stood on the precipice of an even greater terror than Sachiel.
