Godzilla's burning gaze shifted slightly, turning its head about 30 to the right. Its glowing blue eyes locked onto a group of evas positioned at a distance, their towering forms dwarfed by the sheer size and presence of the God of Destruction. For a moment, there was a pause—a brief stillness in the air as Gojira regarded these mechanical warriors.
Then, with a sudden, decisive movement, Godzilla's dorsal plates ignited, glowing with molten energy. In a split second, it unleashed a devastating blast of atomic breath. The beam tore through the sky, crackling with unimaginable power as it raced toward the evas.
The moment the breath made contact with the ground near them, a massive explosion erupted, sending shockwaves through the city. The force of the blast was enough to send the evas flying, their armor cracking under the sheer intensity of the atomic breath. Buildings crumbled as the shockwave expanded outward, and the ground beneath them shattered like glass.
Unit-01, Unit-02, and Unit-00 were all thrown back, their forms crashing into the ruins, sparks flying as their systems struggled to stay operational. The evas, despite their immense power, were no match for the sheer destructive force of Gojira.
In the command center, the screens flickered as the feed from the evas' cameras momentarily cut out from the force of the blast.
Misato slammed her hand on the console. "Shinji! Asuka! Rei! Get out of there now!"
Makoto Hyûga's fingers flew over the keyboard, trying to reestablish communication with the pilots. "The evas are still functional, but they've sustained serious damage!"
Gendo remained silent, his eyes never leaving the screen. Fuyutsuki leaned in, his face grave. "Gojira isn't distinguishing between ally and enemy. It's attacking everything."
Ritsuko, her voice calm but filled with dread, nodded. "It's as we feared. Once unleashed, Gojira's destruction is indiscriminate. It won't stop until everything in its path is annihilated."
Godzilla, standing tall amidst the smoke and fire, let out another low, primal growl. It seemed to sense no difference between the angels and the evas—both were insignificant in the face of its cosmic power. For Gojira, there was only one constant: destruction.
