hello everyone, I am going be taking a break from this story for a while. it' not permanently. but anyways, let us finish this story, for now

Just as Godzilla was poised to deliver the final blow to Lilith, a sudden burst of energy struck its back, the searing impact of the evas' positron rifles interrupting its moment of judgment. Godzilla froze, its glowing eyes narrowing in pure, simmering annoyance. The two evas—Unit-02 and Unit-00—had returned, firing from above in a desperate attempt to protect what little hope humanity had left.

Godzilla growled, a low and thunderous rumble that reverberated through the entire chamber. Its attention snapped to the evas, its patience rapidly wearing thin. These machines, these false protectors, were nothing but a distraction. Godzilla turned its head slightly to glance back at Lilith, the silent and lifeless figure still hanging from the crucifix in the heart of Terminal Dogma. Its gaze seemed to convey a simple, unspoken promise: "This is not finished."

Without hesitation, Godzilla spun on its heel and charged upward with terrifying speed. Its massive form, despite its size, moved like a force of nature—unstoppable, unrelenting. As it rocketed back toward the surface, the two evas had no time to react.

In one devastating motion, Godzilla collided with both Unit-02 and Unit-00, its body crashing into them like a freight train. The impact was immense, the evas sent flying across the ruined landscape as if they weighed nothing. Metal screamed and sparks flew as they tumbled through the air, their armor crumpling under the sheer force of Godzilla's charge.

Inside their cockpits, Asuka and Rei barely had time to register what had happened. The world spun violently around them as their evas were hurled into the debris of the city. Alarms blared, systems struggling to keep up with the damage as their vision blurred from the sheer power of Godzilla's attack.

Asuka gritted her teeth, her hands gripping the controls. "Damn it! This thing… it's a monster!"

Rei, ever calm, adjusted her controls, but even she felt the weight of the impact. "We cannot stop it…"

Godzilla, unfazed by the evas' attempts to fight back, let out another deep growl, the sound resonating across the battlefield. The God of Destruction had no time for distractions—Lilith awaited below, and these minor nuisances would not keep it from finishing what it had started.

The creature's eyes glowed once again, and its dorsal plates began to pulse with energy. It had made its decision: nothing and no one would stand in its way.
