Hi everyone, sorry for the delay.

This story is already finished in another application, so I thought about changing its dialogue configuration, to make the transition easier.

I hope that with these changes, it will be easier to bring you more chapters more frequently.

Thank you very much for following along. If I realize people want to read it, I'll bring more. So let me know if you enjoy it, please :)

Chapter 2

Jill promised herself she would not accept her fate without fighting.

She realized that Francesco didn't believe her and that the senator didn't do anything. He keeps believing that the senator took advantage of her innocence.

Francesco's intentions aren't the worst. He doesn't want Jill to marry the senator just because he's powerful or rich. He genuinely believes the senator needs to pay for her honor.

And since Jill decided she'll keep on fighting, she thinks Father Ron could be the one to help her. Father Ron is a very nice priest at the local church. Everybody loves him because he is the most honest person in the city.

Father Ron; I've never had any reason to doubt you, kid. But I also have my reasons to trust your brother's decision, Jill.

Father Ron; He would not make any move that could be dangerous to you. You know how much he's been taking care of you since your parents died.

Jill; My brother can be naive sometimes.

She sighs

Jill; When I openly told Senator I didn't want to marry him, he stopped being respectful.

Father Ron shakes his head.

Father Ron; It's strange, but it's like he doesn't accept being rejected. Does he believe you want to marry another guy?

Jill; I don't think so... I told him he's not the problem, but I clearly said I'm not ready to get married right now. I'm too young.

Father Ron; You gave him a good point. But you know you can't keep being a child forever. Now you're 16, you may fall in love soon. That's what happens to girls your age.

Jill; Heaven forbid.

She opens her mouth surprise.

Jill; My mother made Francesco promise he would not force me into marrying someone I don't love and that I he would give me the time I needed. She wanted my part in heritage to help me survive in case I never get married.

Father Ron; In fact, I believe your mother didn't want you to get married at all.

Jill; She was not happy with my father. They forced them into a marriage. But by the end they both turned good friends. I believe my mom understood being single would not be a problem at all.

Jill shrugs.

Jill; That's why I don't focus on meeting suitors, getting marriage proposals. I just want to learn new things. But now how bad is this coincidence? My friends would die to marry a senator, and I must die if I do, Father Ron.

Jill's sister-in-law was beside her quietly during the whole conversation, then she decides to speak. She is like Jill's sister. She is always around and always trying to help.

Melinda; Father, I'm sure we're not talking about a real reputation risk. I've known Jill for years now, she would not lie about something like that.

Father Ron; Don't worry, Melinda. We're not discussing if she's being honest or not. I do believe her. But society can be pretty cruel when it comes to women. And I wonder if it could go further now that it's about the senator.

Father Ron scratches his head.

Father Ron; Mother Superior maybe could help us, because she's a woman herself. But she won't come back from Vaticano any soon. So we'll need to think about a plan to save us time and wait for her to come back.

Jill almost screams.

Jill; What if she comes back in two years?

Father Ron; I'm afraid we'll need to hide you for two years.

Jill; That's too much.

Father Ron; I know, kid. But she's the only one who can prove your innocence. As a man, there's not much I can do when it comes to the senator.

Melinda; But if we want to prove your innocence. You can't have your wedding night. – then Melinda turns to Father Ron - How is she going to marry that man and avoid the wedding night?

Father Ron; Well... he already set the date for the wedding. It's in three days.

Melinda and Jill speak at the same time; Three days?

Melinda; So we have two days to come up with a plan and a place to hide you.

Father Ron; Maybe we can find a way so you can run away during your wedding party. Everyone drinks a lot.

Jill; I don't care, Father. I will run away when you think I should. I'll go whenever and wherever I need to.

Father Ron; So, try to stay calm. Let them arrange the things. I'll do my best to find a place for you, ok?

Jill; Thank you so much, father.

Father Ron; God Bless you, kids.

He waves to Jill and Melinda as he walks to the altar. Melinda holds Jill's hand in support.

Jill's at the back of the church and today could be the best day of her life.

Everyone is treating her like a princess.

And that would be nice if she weren't getting married to the monster of the castle.

Jill; Melinda, I feel like I'm a princess Whose prince died during the battle against the castle monster.

Melinda; You're beautiful, but sad.

Jill; Because I know... I'm heading to my prison if our plan doesn't work out.

Father Ron; It's time, Jill. But we'll need to change the plan.

Melinda; Uh oh! Last minute changing doesn't sound good.

Father Ron; I heard they saying that you and senator won't go to the reception. You'll get on a train right after the wedding.

Jill; So I must escape right now.

Jill open her eyes scared.

Father Ron; No!No! They will be suspicious if we stay here longer. Go there, get married and then start being sick right after I pronounce you.

Jill; It'll be harder, but I'm praying and we can do it.

Jill doesn't have much time to think, so she only nods at father Ron.

One minute later she's going down the aisle.

So many strange faces looking at her.

And at the end, she sees the one that really gets her sick, senator Wesker.

He looks at her like someone who just won a bet.

She feels a shiver down her back when she realizes there are some strange men near each door.

Then she understands why Father Ron said she couldn't simply run away. Senator had men watching her these days.

So it was necessary to allow the wedding to happen to fool them and try your best chance.

And then she does all they planned. After they're pronounced husband and wife, she sits on the floor, pretending to be dizzy.

Melinda comes to Jill and helps her stand up.

Father Ron point out to the back of the church, like a good place for her to get some air. And luckly nobody follows you there.

When Jill is in there with Melinda, Father Ron approaches and whispers.

Father Ron; Melinda, go see if you can move the carriage closer. We have only seconds to do it.

Melinda rushes outside while Jill and father Ron goes after her, but slower.

Jill and father Ron are trying their best to make sure nobody sees them while they leave the church, when they run into beautiful woman heading their way.

Father Ron; I don't see Melinda anywhere. But maybe I see someone who can help us.

He speaks to the woman.

Father Ron; Florence! Florence! God sent you here.

Jill realizes she looks like a very kind person.

Florence; Hello, Father.

They exchange some quick words, but Jill is so nervous that she doesn't pay attention. She keeps walking.

She just wants to get out of there, so she only pays attention when they tell her to rush to Florence's carriage.

Jill doesn't think twice, she runs the faster she can away from the church to the carriages.

When she enters the carriage and close its door, she can't explain how relieved she is.

Then the coachman starts it and she thanks God in her heart for that opportunity.

Some minutes later the coachman stops. He's speaking to Jill, but she can't understand a word.

Then he opens the door and look at her in shock.

Harry; Oh my God! I'm in trouble. Where's my boss, mr Kennedy?

She's also so in shock that she doesn't know what to say.

She's afraid he realizes it's a mistake and then takes her back to the church.

Then she just freezes.

Since she doesn't say a word, the boy sits on the floor, like he's waiting for what to do.

Some minutes later Jill can listen to some voices outside.

Harry: I'm so sorry, sir Leon. I made the biggest mistake. I hope you don't fire me, but when the door got closed, I thought it was you. But then I got here and realized I had gotten a wrong person. It's a mute girl.

Jill listens to another person reply the boy, although she couldn't understand what he said.

Until this man places his head inside the carriage.

Leon; Hello?

JillClaireX: If you still wanna follow it, I'll do my best to publish it till the end. Thank you for your support.
