A lone knight was fighting on horse back against want seem to be a large masked man in a red suit welding a Windcleaver who was on house back as well while other smaller men were attacking a carrage beside them. One of masked men on the other side slaced his Vicious Sickle into the clothe of the carrage, trying to attack the woman and baby in it. The knight pushed his attacker away and kicked his horse's side to make him run fast. The man who had attacked the carrage turned in time, but could do nothing as the knight brought his sword down on him.

The Hylian family walked as man was able to defeat the men in red. The man held his horse reins and let the horse walk without carrying him as he knew he had pushed his horse pretty hard in that fight. His wife had taken to reins of the carrage horse and allowed them to walk as well. Both of them were tired as the went along the Kaepora Pass. Everyone was tired and they needed a safe place to rest. Suddenly the baby giggled and reached for something off in the distance. The couple looked at were the baby was reaching and saw what seemed to be tall uninhabited circular rocky island centered in the northern section of Lake Akkala. The man patted his son's head as this was a perfect spot not just to rest, but to make home.

Cora watched on as her mate played with their son. Rok grappled with his boy before gentle pusing the boy down. Only for the boy to quickly get back up and climb on his dad's back with Rok trying to reach for him, but his huge arms made it impossible for him so he rolled over with his son hopping off and running to his mother. Cora smiled warmly at the child before presenting him with his own spear.

The lynels baried their child and used his spear as a grave stone. The Silver mother held onto her son's bandage in her hand while Rok held his mate close. Once enough time had passed the red lynel let go of his mate and went back up to their cliffside home. He didnt want to leave his mate behind but knew she needed her own time to grieve too.
As days went on, her mate did his best to try and cheer her up while Cora still greived. She stopped and looked at her left wrist where her son's headband had been tied around her arm. She placed her other hand on it and was about to cry again when a sound had suddenly could her attenion.
The sound of a baby crying.

Cora ran as fast her her legs could carry her. She didn't know where she was going but she didn't care. Her motherly instinct were screaming at her that a child needed help. She ran from her home, across the Ukuku Plains, even crossing the Kaepora pass.
She stopped suddenly when she found herself at Lake Akkala. She looked around and focused on her hearing and could still hear the faint sounds of a baby crying. Her gaze then fell onto a large stone spire in the middle of the lake.
The crying was coming from there.
As she drew closer, she notice men in red walking all over the place as if their were looking for something. She started to reach for her Savage bow on her back to shoot them all down. As a proud lynel warrior, she could best them all, but as a mother, she knew she could put the child in danger. Taking her hand away from her bow, she could to move around them.
Taking a bannana in hand, she throw it a good distance away. The fruit had hit some bushes and caused the men to rush to that location. One of the men picked it up and cheered before others jumpped on him and tried to take it from him. This gave her an opprotunity to sneak by them. Though she was big, she knew how to stealthy and stepped quickly, but quietly.
She crossed the naturally formed stone bridge and gazed upon the cozy home. As she walked closer, Cora noticed the door was broken into and two bodies was placed near the front. She lowered her head, walked in and looked around. She could easily tell that not only had the home been ransacked but also had been a battle.
Belonging were scattered then thrown everywhere as if who ever was here before her was serching for something or someone. A picture frame was smashed onto the ground with a photo of a man standing proudly in metal armor, a woman smiling with joy, and a infent in her arms. The older humans resemble the pair of bodies she saw outside, but where was the child.
Something shining had caught her eye as she reached down and picked up a single handed sword. She looked closer at the weapon and could tell it was well taken care off and shapen to a fine edge. The blood on the blade showed her the owner of it must have killed many before he fell. While the sword was too small for her large hands, she placed the blade on a sling on her back next to her bow.
Cora's ears perked up as she heard the sound of russling. At first she thought it was the men in red having returned, but as she listened in to see how close they were, she found the sound wasnt coming from around her.
It was coming from under her.
She placed her hands on the floor and found some of the floorboards were loose. As she moved some of the wood out of her way, she found what seemed to be a pile of blackets covering something up. She reached down and moved the blankets away to see what could be under there. What she found shocked her.
It was a baby.
Clearly it was a baby, but she never seen one with such little hair. Even her own son had a full body of fur on him. Grabbing the child by the leg and lifting him to her, she sniffed all around him. Unfortunately she had sniffed his dipper and backed her head away quickly. She turned the baby's head to her and saw he was making a yawn. Seeing him like this made her smile as she took him into her arms and craddled him. Finding himself comfy, the baby closed his eyes and slept.
She continued to rock and cuddle him, that is until her ears pick up the sound of someone trying to sneak up on her. As a warriorness, she could tell whoever it was ment her harm. As the figure brought his sword down over her head, Cora quickly reached behind her blocked the incoming attack with the sword she picked earlier.
She pushed his sword off her and swung back at him as she turned to face him. The attacker seemed to be a tall man in red and yellow with a single large Windcleaver in both his hand. Cora knew she was at a disadvantage. Not only was she using a weapon that was too small for her, but she still had to protect the baby in her left arm.
The blademaster posed as he was ready to face the lynel that somehow got here. it wasn't until he notice what the silver lynel had cuddled into her left arm. "The baby with blond hair and a marking in his left hand. Master Kohga will be please." he thought to himself.
Cora attacker the man with her sword as the Blademaster throw one of his knives at her head. She ducked under knife but this what the man wanted as he went down and made a slash at her. Cora brought her own sword the block the mans sneak attack as best she could and parried him away before the locked swords.
Whoever she was fighting, she could tell, he was very skilled. But she was much stronger as she used her strength to push him off into some near by funiture. While she normally would enjoy a strong fighter, she had to flee to get the baby to safety. As she made her way out the door, she suddenly felt a sharp pain in one of her back legs.
"You wont get away. Master Kohga wants that child!" the man said as he got up and rushed at her. He had thrown another knife at her back leg to prevent her from fleeing him.
Thinking quickly Cora throw the baby high into the air with him giggling. With her arm now free and the baby out of the way, she grabbed the man in red's blade with her bear hand and snapped with her immence strength. The man would not give up as she tried to use his broken sword to stab at the silver lynel, but he was so blinded by his rage, he didn't notice Cora make a slash at his face.
"AAHHH!" The man yelled in pain as he held his bleeding left side.
Taking this moment of opportunity, Cora brought her right arm and back fisted him at full force. The man flew from the force of the strike all the way back into the house. Seeing her foe beaten, Cora put her weapon back and looked around to see where her baby had went. She heard giggle above her and saw her baby crawling after a butterfly ... right off the edge of the house.
Panicing, she rushed over to catch him as he fell over the edge giggling. Once she fell into her arms, she looked over him to make sure he was ok. She looked over to her downed foe and roared triumphantly before taking her baby away

Back at the Lynel cliff Rok paced back and forth waiting. It had been hours since his mate suddenly ran out. Having had enough he grabbed his weapons to set off to find her when his ear picked up foot steps. Once the foot steps where closer enough, he grabbed his bow and was about to fire a thunder arrow when...
"Rok! Its me!" Cora yelled to her mate as she came closer holding something in her arms.
"Cora!" her mate yelled as his put down his bow. It was when she was closer did he see she was injured and what she was holding close to her. "What happen to you? And what is that?"
"I ran into hunters in red," Cora told the red lynel about what had happened. "Rok, I saved him from them."
Rok sighed as he understood her motherly instincs. "Cora, it wont replace the one we lose."
"I know that," Cora lifted the baby as he giggle at her. "but he needs me."
"Cora he's not like us," Rok shook his head. "You must take him back."
"If I take him back, he wont survive!"
"Then take him to the fish people down the mountain. They might want him!"
"I WANT HIM!"
Rok roared angrily at his mate while rushing to to get in her face. Cora grabbed the hylian sword from her back and held it between her and him. Rok and Cora stared daggers into each other. Dearing the other to make a move. Rok knew for the sake of that child, she would strike him down if needed. She also know he would do the same. While they were mates, their were also warriors. While both could best the other... that didn't mean they wanted to.
"You are very stubborn, my love," Rok smirked.
"If I wasn't, I wouldn't be YOUR mate," Cora smirked back as she put the sword down.
"What shall we call him?" Rok said as put his finger in front of the baby while the baby grabbed the finger and played with it.
"I'm gonna name him ... Link."
