Centuries ago...
On the planet Earth, humanity lived in harmony and peace thousands of years ago. Each people boasted of the healthy greenery that made life possible on the planet. The idea of an endless creation of life was truly beautiful.
They weren't alone in this planet; other beings had lived there millions of years ago.
Titans.
These humongous creatures with god-like aspects coexisted with humanity from different places where they had settled. They were worshipped as their deity or a protector from their different places.
There was only one Alpha who could command all the Titans. The Titans would listen to their Alpha's orders or face consequences if they dared to interrupt and cause havoc in the Natural Order. And this Alpha was not alone.
Two Alphas, both have a common symbiotic role for millions of years.
And these two have only one gift.
Which the question is: who is this reffering to them as gift?
At Night in the Yunnan Forest...
Deep within the Yunnan Forest of an Ancient China, the creatures were once sleeping in their homes or doing their business were suddenly startled by a strong gust of wind, followed by a soft thud and a sweet croon.
That source came from a large clearing in the earth.
A giant lepidopteran.
The moth have insectoid sapphire eyes that represents the beauty of the heavens, pure bluish white fur with some light beige colors on its body to darker shades, black mandibles, and a pair of fluffy white antennaes with a bluish tip on its end. It has a pair of mantis-like limbs, her wings were a loveliest shade of navy blue, bluish white and cherry pink colors, with the addition that it has an eye imprint in each sides. But the most unusual appearance is that there are some dorsal plates on its back, much like a hard carapace, that glowed blue to pink.
The moth looked at the clear river, its eyes sparkling as it groomed its fur and mandibles. It took a small splash in the river and its wings glowed, excessing specks that doused small plants. Flowers began to grow and bloom by themselves, powered by its bioluminiscence and the specks.
Its antennae twitched when it heard a small rumbling of footsteps, before turning into a regular interval that shook the earth. Birds flew away from the source of the loud rumbling.
"You know, it's rude to leave you out of our conversation, my daughter." A deep male voice spoke.
The female moth sighed, then turned around to see him. "Dad, I wasn't rude because you were ignoring our usual talks with Mom and Uncle. I'm a beginner, for being the Divine Moth Princess."
A disapproving "tsk" was the next word to escape from her father.
"Princess Mothra Astra, where did you learn that kind of words coming from your mouth?" He asked calmly, albeit avoiding his agitation of his daughter's almost sassy tone, crossing his arms like an expectant parent.
"...Just...me."
Godzilla has some small issues with his only daughter over her troubles handling her role. Both he and his Queen/symbiote, Mothra, along with their additional daughter, feel that her role in the Natural Order is important. The King of the Monsters has always had bigger problems with his subjects and his role.
Being a King and a father of his child.
He didn't spend her time with him, while his daughter was being tended by her new people and adjusting this job. There were times that Godzilla and Mothra would often arguing over and over from this some kind of their daughter's future and possibly her role, she's still a young larva and seemingly understands this, which led to Mothra shutting herself up and Godzilla being stubborn as usual. That is until she reaches her imago stage, where she overheard her uncle, Battra, about her connection to the stars in heavens, that made her curiousity even better upon knowing she is the gift of the Goddess of Stars. Never mind of that, Godzilla knew this role all the time. Right now, he needs more time to spend with her.
"I have decided that..." Godzilla paused.
"That what?" Mothra Astra raised her nonexistent eyebrow.
He adjusted himself in his position down to hers and sat beside Mothra Astra. Incredibly as big as he was, his daughter was just above the height of his knees. Such a child of two Titan Rulers had clearly been a definition of being raised by both.
"You know, remember about what we told you about your birth?" He reminded her.
"Yeah right, I was just a teeny little larva back then," she chuckled. "Mom says I was your Little Star, then Yi Xin and Yi Ran explained that I am the Angel of Stars with two roles. Which is why I'm gonna ask: is it hard to become, you know...a Queen?"
Godzilla pondered. That day after she was born and welcomed by her two loving parents and the people, Mothra's twin priestess, Yi Xin and Yi Ran, then held a private prophecy that their daughter would grow and assume two roles: one from natural order and the other from heavenly stars; whether she would choose one or both, since it was her path when she reached her imago form. It was for the best that she decide her choice.
"When you become a Queen, it's gonna be difficult for you to adjust your royal position, especially when you confronted a Titan to assert your dominance of them. Your Alpha status is strong once you'd proven yourself as worthy, but not in a wrong path of evil. Grace, kindness, courage, and hope shall remain your heart. We believed in you, even at hard times." He stopped.
"That's when we heard from the priestesses that you are special. You came from the heavens full of endless stars and the Goddess of Stars granted us with a little princess that you are now. We know you have two roles, like us from the Natural Order as protectors. But you, this role is new. A seemingly but heavenly divine role to watch the stars above and the planet of ours. That's when we got your nickname as 'the Angel of Stars'."
Astra smiled, before looking up at the star-filled sky where the stars twinkle against a backdrop of darkness, even the moon lights up the night sky. She could still hear their whispers and songs that her people have always sung to her.
"Looks like Grandpa and Grandma are listening to us, Dad," she told him.
The King smiled. "Yeah...they're happy to have you as a granddaughter and the heir."
"Even me, my King."
The two startled and glanced behind their backs to see Mothra, the Queen of the Monsters, Mothra Astra's mother and Godzilla's wife/symbiote. She is standing there all the time, listening to their conversation, her lovely blue eyes gleaming with amusement.
"Shit, Mothra! You scared us half to death!" Godzilla yelled.
"Don't you ever sneak up like that, Mom!" Their child replied.
"I don't seem to interrupt you both, but I'm just looking for you too," the Queen of the Monsters told them. "My priestesses told me Godzilla, that you went looking for our Little Starlight-"
"Mom, don't you ever said that..." The Princess blushed.
Ever since she was born, the humans begin to fell in love by her cuteness and lovely divinity of virtue and grace. Mothra fully took the responsibility of taking care of their child while Godzilla is on his duties. There are times that he switched himself of parenting while Mothra was next on her duties. Everytime he complimented of her cuteness and smothering with cuddles and kisses, she would squeal in delight. She grew fonded over the beauty of nature and the humans. Pure hearted and kind. And after she become in imago form, she would get embarassed because she was the King's and Queen's only child, even compliments couldn't fix her state.
Well, unfortunately, to her disappointment, Godzilla and Mothra still calling her that. Even Mothra's twin brother, Battra, also find it quite adorable and he was the best uncle to ever babysit her when the King and Queen are on their duties.
Mothra chuckled at her daughter's response. "It's just a nickname, sweetie. There's no need for you to be shy."
"Which is why..." Godzilla stood up, his eyes gleaming with mischievousness and a smirk formed around his face.
Mothra Astra was confused at first, but then quickly realized what he meant by that word.
"Crap..." she muttered.
She flared her wings and bolted away, but Mothra, who wanted to have some fun with her little family, tackled her daughter fast. She yelped when they both fell safely from the trees, interrupting some small creatures that lived there. Then Mothra Astra laughed. Her mother was using her limbs and mandibles just to tickle her sensitive spots to further make her child happy.
Godzilla couldn't help but smile at them. Their voices rang like angelic choirs, and oh, how he adored his little family!
But then, he decided to have some fun with them!
While the Queen and the Princess were doing their tickle fight, a moment stopped when Godzilla's shadow loomed over them. Mothra knew of one thing she had in her mind...
"Goji, don't you dare-!"
And he grabbed the Queen by the hands, then he proceeded to roll over the earth and began his tickling fight.
Mothra laughed all her might as she was invaded by her king's fingers on her soft spots while his daughter just sat there, catching her breath while glancing at her parents laughing with each other. She smiled; she loved her parents dearly...
Then her thoughts are interrupted when Godzilla tackles his daughter quickly enough for her to realize she was getting involved in the tickling.
"D-Dad, just-!"
And so he did.
The night is filled with laughter from the Titan Rulers for hours like eternity. Even the humans could hear them miles away. Well, the priestesses Yi Xin and Yi Ran, and Battra heard it. They just shook their heads and smiled at their adorable act.
After what seemed to be hours, the three lay down on the soft forest floor. Mothra cuddled with Godzilla while their daughter was in the middle, fast asleep after a tickle war. The King purred delightedly at his Queen, then he licked her fluffy fur. She trilled, emitting her soft rays for him, displaying her flirtatious expression just enough for Godzilla to nuzzle her more, carefully not to squash Mothra's Astra even further.
"No matter what challenges may you have come, we'll always there to guide you, our Little Star..."
Godzilla and Mothra dozed off as they slept together...
High above the clouds, where the sky is filled with thousands of endless stars, there was a single white star bigger than the other stars. It twinkled innocently with a strange and pure heavenly voice singing alone...
Present Day
The sound of sea gulls squawking, the waves splashing against the sand, and the light from the Sun was enough for Godzilla and Mothra to wake up as they both emerged from their homemade cave.
One year had passed since the incident in Hong Kong from the clash of the two Alpha Titans. Godzilla still has some random scars from that fight against Kong, which he mistakens it as his 'enemy'. He got his ass kicked by that so-called abominational creation of humans, MechaGodzilla, if it wasn't for Kong and the axe that he held, he would be dead. The two Alpha Titans made an agreement to rule their respective dominion: Godzilla on the sea, and Kong on the Hollow Earth, ensuring that no harm can be done across their territory. And that goes in their separate ways.
Alone, Godzilla travelled miles away when he reached the mainland China, he heard the voices of his Queen. His hopes came true when the Monarch Organization revealed that Mothra had been reborn and was alive. Well, she was still a larva, so that's why. The King was happy to have her. After she was hatched out under the watchful eye of the Monarch, she eventually crawled out from her temple to meet the King. Godzilla took her and they both travelled miles away to find a home. Monarch still followed them via surveillance drones and tracked them to a secluded island in the southern parts of the Pacific Ocean. It seemed this island was inhabited by some ancient Titans thousands of years ago, but who cares, it was a perfect place and home for the Titan Rulers!
Monarch established a small base only 5 kilometers away on a remote island, with Dr. Ilene Chen meeting with her twin sister, Dr. Ling Chen, who served as the acting head for Mothra and Godzilla. Both sisters had an ideal connection to Mothra, partly because of their mother's generations of service, which their entire family consisted of twins, both girls. They all studied myths and legends that somehow connected to much deeper discoveries. Mothra never minded them, they're kind and compassionate even when she go nearer by the Chen Twins.
Back to the Titan Rulers, the King let out a loud yawn, stretching himself like a cat in position while Mothra shook her wings in the sunlight, the bioluminescence reflecting the sun's rays.
"Brand new day again, eh?" Godzilla says to Mothra.
"As usual," Mothra shrugged. She noticed her King with a sad expression on his face.
"Are you alright, my love?" she asked in concern.
"I-I'm okay, Mothra," he said.
Mothra knew he was hiding something. "Godzilla..."
The King sighed. "Okay, fine. It's just...our Little Star...I just hope that...she would be proud of us..."
Mothra went silent. Her heart stopped beating when he said those. It has been centuries since their Princess was gone forever. The reason why is because she was killed by King Ghidorah, an extraterrestrial monster who took everything from their lives and now they have lost their daughter. It made Godzilla's heart ache. Memories of Mothra Astra are still intact in his mind. Her laughter, her sweet voice, her purity and kindness, and her role as a Protector of the Natural Order and Guardian of the Stars, stating that she is the Angel of Stars.
It made it clear that after her death a few months later, Battra, Mothra's twin brother and also the Guardian of Earth - which they share the same roles - went berserk and accumulated negative emotions. Now with his twisted evil self, he wrecked havoc across the human civilization for destroying the Mother Nature which he expressed his greatest hatred and desire to wipe every single one of them, referring to them as pests. He now sees them as 'evil' and 'disgusting filthy creatures' corrupting himself even more, and surprising the Queen filled with shock by his sudden changes.
Mothra battled her brother in an attempt to stop his actions while managing to defend the humans. She grieviously stabbed him and died, but Mothra survived from the aftermath. Just before his death, Battra vowed to return and wipe every human civilization for the Earth's Will, and that he shall not rest until this would be accomplished. Due to that, Godzilla made it clear that if Battra were to be reborn, he will kill him for hurting his Queen despite Mothra's consciousness that Battra may have something that can easily purify his dark, twisted soul, which she hoped for. Mothra worried about his well-being.
The Queen scooted over to Godzilla, gently brushing his dorsal plates behind to calm him down before his initial mental breakdown.
"She's here, watching us and our ancestors above," she said. "We may have defeated the Golden Demise..."
"From your ashes," Godzilla finished. "Promise me one thing, Mothra. You'll never pull that act of sacrifice again. You know I hate it when you do that."
The moth laughed. "It's how I acted to be. My kind lay one or two eggs for us to be reborn. It's how we cheated death, remember?"
"Right," he nodded.
"Listen, My King. We won't lose hope. There are humans out there who have come to help us-"
"And they tried to hit us with some sort of ballistic metal things!" The King rolled his eyes.
"That's not what I meant; they'll hurt us." She droned on. "Sure, there are some humans who aren't kind, but they'll never make the same mistake twice. Evil people won't change because they always get what they want. This organization - I believe they call it 'Monarch' - cooperates with others to protect us Titans. They even resolve their differences in negotiations with people outside. Just try being kind to them."
It's like testing his patience and making new things, Godzilla clearly dislikes humans for disturbing his duties and studying them. All except that one human who sacrificed his life just for the King to battle against the False Alpha. His old friend whom he trusted for his heart. Right now, he is gone forever. But still, he won't forget the day they met after the battle in San Francisco against the two MUTOs. Such intelligence can allow him to fully understand his old friend, and even his old friend's assistant.
"Humans saw you as a benevolent and kind Titan you are while I'm stuck here as a grumpy old man who 'I'm sorry, but you humans sucked at your sorry asses for hurting me then you dragging me into this situation stuff'?! Yeah, that's the difference." Godzilla rambled as Mothra chuckled by his behaviour.
Every time, he always swear to humans...jeez...
Clearly, he may be stubborn as usual, but when it comes into protecting the Earth, he'll be ready for any situations.
"Goji..."
"Hm?"
"...I'm starving."
"Oh." Was all that came out of his mouth. Anyway, maybe going for a swim to hunt down some fine and fresh breakfast just for them both would be fun.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ilene Chen and Dr. Ling Chen watch from a surveillance footage, showing Godzilla returning from his hunt; he makes his way towards his queen, with two dead blue whales on his jaw, before setting it down to eat beside Mothra.
"Look at them, sister," Ilene Chen pointed to the footage, "They're bonding with each other."
"I know," Ling says with a smile.
"Their legacy still continues further..." Ilene thought with a smile...
For now...
Somewhere from another world...
On an island filled with lushful greenery with a little house that is facing off from the east. In a plain grassy field filled with multicolored flowers, there was a girl around 18 years old, who was lying by herself, dozing off with her dreams as the wind swept the tall grass, giving a peaceful sound.
She has long midnight black hair and is fair skinned. She wore a cream-colored blouse with floral and space patterns, dark navy blue flare pants, and yellow slippers. She also wore a beautiful necklace with a white gem on its middle, a Solar System bracelet on her right wrist, and a star-shaped diamond ring on her left wrist, and a pair of golden earrings.
This girl is not really normal. Quite half-normal if you would saw her personally because of her feminine beauty. Scratch that, she doesn't mind that somebody calls her that.
In fact, she is ordinary, because of something that would change her life into more extravagant adventure.
As she dozed off, suddenly, she heard a faint feminine voice, whispering to her...
"Go, young one...find them...the Rulers of the Titans...let them open...help them...find your...STAR!!!"
Images of a giant saurian and a large moth are seen motioning towards the source of light, before everything faded back into reality.
The girl wakes up from her slumber. Her blue eyes scanned around to where she have been like there. She slowly get up, flowers sticking out from her hair and clothes. Her attention is from the sunset, now faintly touches the sea. On the sky above, a lone white star shines brightly as it ever seems to be, with the last ray of the sun clammored from the puffy white clouds as evening is drawing nearer.
"Another mission, again," she sighed, picking up her belongings from the grass.
She stood there, looking at the star and the skies.
"I wonder who might be calling my name...?"
She took out a stranged device, dialing some number and waiting for the response...before a small feminine figure appears on the screen.
"Greetings, Ma. Celestina," a holographic feminine tone greeted to the girl. "Is there anything I can do for you?"
"Hello, Tasha," Ma. Celestina greeted, "I have a mission to do."
"What kind of mission you seems to be curious about it?" Tasha asked.
"From another world. I'll be off tomorrow, I'll go pack my things and be boarded on the Origin."
"Do you know where are you travelling for?"
Ma. Celestina smiled.
"From the world...of MonsterVerse."
