Charlie was sad to leave the bunker. She still had so much she wanted to do. She bit into a slice of pizza and chewed slowly.

"Ask him," Kate said.

Charlie's eyes grew wide.

"She wanted to know if she would be allowed to come here by herself," Kate said.

John studied Charlie for a moment. "While I do not think we will have any issues trusting you to be here, I think you should know how to drive and operate the doors here."

Charlie put her pizza down. "But I could come back?"

"Yes. I would prefer it to be with one of us for now. It is important that no one gain entry to this place besides us." John added.

"Wow, thanks. I want to finish figuring the control center out. Then, I want to read every single book this place has." Charlie said, excitedly.

John nodded. "We will figure out a schedule."

The conversation turned to the mysterious creature and potential safeguards.

Kate, of course, was antsy. "What if you are in over your head?"

"Dean and I will both be working on this and will both be cautious," John said.

"What if you get caught off guard? I can zip to you and pull you to safety." Kate said.

"If that needs to happen, Cas will be on standby," Dean said.

"What if-"

John interrupted her. "Kate, I understand that you want to help but you need to go back to school. We have several plans if things do not go the way that we need them to go."

Kate crossed her arms but didn't argue.

"I need you to do what you are supposed to do. I do not want to get back to Bobby's house and have to crack down on someone because they couldn't follow a basic order." John said in a stern tone. He put another slice of pizza onto his plate. "That includes not working on anything that is dangerous." He rubbed his tired face. "I do not have any patience left so do not test me. You can let everyone else know that that goes for them too, Taylor, you might do well by reminding Jo."

Charlie looked between Kate and Taylor.

"Everyone except you, Charlie," Taylor said.

"And me because I'm an adult," Dean said with a smirk.

John slowly turned his head. "Boy if you think that changes anything, I've got some bad news for you."

Dean's ears turned pink.

Charlie shifted nervously.

"I think the general rule for anyone over the age of 18 is do not sell your soul and you have nothing to worry about," Kate said.

John nodded. "That's it."

Kate's eyes drifted.

"or anyone under the age of 18 as far as souls go," John added.

"How many rules have been made because of me?" Kate asked.

"All of the ones that I never thought I'd need to make," John said.

Dean shoved his crust in his mouth. "Although Caleb and I got the 'do not bring snakes into the house' rule."

John pinched the bridge of his nose. He met eyes with Charlie. "Common sense tends to evade all of them."

"Uh well I'm afraid of snakes and kinda like having a soul," Charlie said.

"I lose two teeny tiny pieces of my soul and now they lose their minds," Kate explained. "But, Dean can-"

Dean kicked her under the table.

Kate rolled her eyes. "When are we leaving?"

"Tomorrow," Dean answered.

Charlie frowned.

"I can just teleport you over here," Kate said. She shrugged. "After I gain better control over it, of course. I totally wouldn't use an ability that I didn't have full control over."

Charlie smiled. "Let me know when you iron out the time travel. I'll be a test subject."

Dean snorted. "The cliff, Charlie. Stay away from the cliff." He held his arm up and used his fingers to mimic a person falling off the edge of a cliff.

John got up and threw his plate into the sink. "If you want something to work on, find a way to get files from the hospital that the doctor worked at."

"There is an event at the hospital. Some of the files are probably not in the system. If you can get me into that event, I can get you the files." Charlie said.

"We could go and you could tell us what to do from a remote position," Dean said.

Charlie raised an eyebrow. "I think it would be a lot less painful for all of us if I didn't need to walk you through how to do that."

Dean looked to John for help.

"She has a point," John said. "Although I need to know what kind of event this is. I will not put you in danger."

"It is a fundraiser in the form of a gala," Charlie said.

John thought about it. "Find details and report them back to me."

Kate patiently waited for John to leave before she turned to Dean. "So, that confirms it."

"What?" Dean asked.

"He'd still kick your butt," Kate said with a smirk.

"Well no shit, Sherlock. There isn't anyone alive whose but he wouldn't kick if given the chance." Dean said.

Kate laughed. "Proper Winchester beat down."

"No. He was joking with that." Dean said with a scoff.

Kate stood up quickly. "I'm going to go clarify. I'm sure he will love to know you called him a liar."

Dean grabbed her before she could run. He dug his fingers into her ribs and tickled her until she melted to the floor. "Need I remind you who is the oldest in this situation?"

Kate giggled and tried to kick his hands away. "You're old and grumpy."

Dean picked her up and tossed her over his shoulder. "What was that?"

Kate laughed. "I said you're the best brother ever."

Dean sat her down on her feet. "That's what I thought." He cracked his back. "Just so you know, the next person to be a pain in the ass is getting their toothbrush messed with."

Charlie tilted her head.

"He resorts to threats when he's outmatched," Taylor said. He saw Dean move and took off sprinting to the bathroom. He had learned the hard way not to leave his toothbrush unattended but had let his guard down.

Charlie tilted her head the opposite way.

Dean stretched. "The crap I have to put up with."

"I don't know. It is pretty entertaining for me." Charlie said.

Dean rested his hands on his hips and took a deep breath. "If either of them come up with an off-the-wall plan you will..."

"Stay away from the cliff," Charlie said.

Dean nodded. "You don't want to get dragged down with them. They are insane. Especially the blonde one."

Kate scrunched her nose. "Jerk."

Dean flicked her ear. "Brat."

(Sam and Jess)

Jess and the twins got manicures and a treat at the mall. Both girls picked out a stuffed animal at one of the stores and a third for Ben. As they got more comfortable with Jess, they shared more with her.

"My dad is really worried about mom," Caitlyn said.

"It can be stressful not knowing where someone is." Jess tried to keep her comments neutral.

"What if mom isn't okay and then dad gets hurt too?" Caroline asked.

Jess stopped and sat down so that they would also sit down. "Right now, he is doing a very good job looking for her. Thinking the worst won't help. He dropped you three off with us so that you could have fun and not be bored while he is looking for her."

Caitlyn twisted her hand so that the sun would make the glitter on her nails shimmer. "I saw the papers."

Caroline gasped loudly. "Not the secret ones."

Caitlyn nodded her head.

"How?" Caroline asked. The folder that contained their secret documents was sealed so no one could read what was inside.

Caitlyn shrugged. "All you have to do is get the tape hot and it will pop right off. Then you can glue it back."

Jess closed her eyes. Caitlyn or Katelyn must have been a really good name for little girls who were too smart and sneaky for their own good. "When did you do that?"

Caitlyn met eyes with Jess. "Are you going to be mad?"

"No," Jess said.

Caitlyn shifted. "Last night."

Jess wasn't sure how she got up and did something like that without waking Sam up. "How did you do that?"

Caitlyn frowned. "The stove gets hot and I had glue in my backpack."

Jess blinked slowly. "Okay. So, turning on the stove was not the best idea."

Caroline shoved Caitlyn. "Dad is gonna be mad at you."

Jess held up her hand. "No one is going to get mad right now. A lot is happening. What did you see in the folder?"

"Mom and dad have a plan if they both get hurt, we will have to go live with our aunt," Caitlyn said, obviously distressed.

"You know, all hunters have those plans. Even parents that do not hunt, have those plans. That way, even if the parent just hurts their leg or runs out of gas money, the kids know where they should go until the parent gets back. Did he have a paper with other names?" Jess asked.

Caitlyn nodded.

"What were they?" Jess asked.

"Savannah, Kacey, and Luke," Caitlyn said.

Jess dramatically scrunched her nose. "You don't look like a Savannah to me!"

Caitlyn giggled.

"Think of a name that you would like to be if you needed to be sneaky. I bet, if you both come up with really good names, your dad may change them on the papers. No one wants to be called Savannah." She honestly didn't mind the name but her goal was to get the girls in a silly mood. She stood up and motioned for the girls to follow her. "Should we try to walk back or take the bus?"

Caroline held her hand out for Jess's hand. "Let's try to walk."

Sam woke from a glorious cat nap. Ben sat up and whined. Sam patted the couch beside him. He flipped through channels and found an episode of Tom and Jerry.

Ben crawled over and leaned against Sam with his elbow on Sam's leg. He tucked his feet under him and pulled his blanket up to his mouth. "Jerry."

Sam nodded. "This was one of my favorite shows as a kid."

Ben shook his head. He put a finger over his mouth. "Shh, Jerry."

When the girls got back to the house, Ben was still attached to Sam's side.

Jess offered him a snack. "Did you have a good nap?"

Ben shook his head. "Shh, Jerry."

Sam shrugged. "He's invested in the show."

Jess smiled and brought Ben a snack and some water. She backed away and winked at Sam. Ben still looked so tiny next to Sam but he was also so adorable. She fanned her face. Sam was equally as adorable. He had his arm over the back of the couch and was leaning back watching the cartoon as well.

"Girls, would you like to take a bath now or closer to bedtime?" Jess asked.

Caroline called dibs on the bath. She was already tired.

Caitlyn stayed with Sam and Ben. She was still worried about those papers.

The mini-marathon of Tom and Jerry ended and a new cartoon came on. Ben pointed to the tv. "Oh no, Jerry."

Sam moved his arm. "We can watch this?"

Ben shoved the remote off the couch. "Jerry!"

Sam sighed. "Hold on." He went to the kitchen to talk to Jess and got his computer out. "How was your trip to the mall?"

Jess smiled. "Fun." She lowered her voice and mentioned the folder.

Sam stood up straight. "She used the stove?" He rubbed his face. "I didn't even hear her get up."

Jess washed her hands. "Maybe it is the name." She told him about what Caitlyn saw and gave him a turn to speak.

"I need to tell you what their dad said. Not now, later." Sam said. He found some Tom and Jerry videos on his computer and went back to sit with Ben.

Ben gasped. "Jerry!"

Caitlyn curled up on the other end of the couch. She too was tired and increasingly worried about her family. She had a prickly feeling in her stomach and kind of wanted to cry.

Sam noticed that she looked down. He moved Ben off of his lap but kept the computer in a tight grip. "Do you want to talk?"

Caitlyn blushed. "No thanks."

"I know you saw those papers," Sam said.

Caitlyn's eyes grew wide.

"My family had those too," Sam said. "We didn't have as much help back then, though. For my younger brother and sister, if something happens, they have many places to go. Caleb is someone that we grew up with. He is kind of like family. He had two boys and a baby on the way. Even they have those papers."

"I just want my mom and dad back," Caitlyn said, sadly.

"I know. I'm an adult and I still get sad sometimes when my dad is on a hunt." Sam replied.

"What if they die?"

Sam took a deep breath. "One day, everyone does. We just don't know when. I know for a fact that heaven is real, though."

Caitlyn sniffled and turned away from Sam.

Sam touched her arm. "Come here. I'll try to explain how things work for us. I bet they work the same for you."

Jess peaked into the living room and saw Sam sandwiched between Ben and Caitlyn. Ben was glued to Tom and Jerry and Caitlyn was listening as Sam tried to calm her fears. Sam was one of the good guys. He wasn't arrogant or afraid to show his own emotions. He was kind and gentle and Jess couldn't believe she got so lucky.

(Caleb and April)

Andy liked having a bunk bed because he could put things on the top bunk and Ian couldn't reach them. Most of his toys, he didn't mind sharing but some were special. He was supposed to be cleaning his bedroom. He started out doing well and then got distracted.

April stepped into the hallway. "Andy, if I come to look at your room right now, is it going to be clean?"

Andy slid to his doorway. "Honestly, no, Ma'am."

"What have you been doing?" April asked.

"Uh, I got distracted," Andy said. "I forgot I had some of these toys."

April chuckled. "Please get it tidied up. I want it picked up before dinner."

Andy scrambled to get toys put away. His mom had worked hard the day before to get the room looking good and he didn't want to mess it up too much. He sat down on the floor to put a puzzle back together and slid it into its designated spot.

Ian was spinning in circles with an airplane and trying to get Andy's attention.

Andy found some blocks under his bed so he crawled under to get those. As he sat back up, he felt a sharp pain and covered his head. He jerked the airplane out of Ian's hand and rubbed the knot forming on the side of his head.

Ian started whining because Andy took the airplane. He fell on top of Andy. "Mine."

Andy rubbed his head again. He held the plane over his head, out of Ian's reach, and pushed Ian away. He tossed the plane on the far end of Ian's bed and left the room, frustrated with his baby brother but not frustrated enough to turn him in. He wouldn't interfere if Ian got himself into trouble. That didn't mean he was going to aid in getting him in trouble.

Caleb got home and pulled his work boots off. He gave April a kiss and went to shower from a very long, very hot day at work.

Riot was running back and forth down the hallway and slipped when he saw Caleb.

Caleb scratched around Riot's ears. "Some guard dog you are. You didn't even notice I was here until you almost ran into me."

Andy ran to Caleb. He hugged him.

"Hey, bud." How was your day?"

Andy smiled. "I cleaned my room!"

Caleb stepped into his room. "Wow, it looks good in here." He pulled Ian up from where he was still trying to reach the airplane. He shoved his hand down beside the bed and handed the plane to Ian. He patted Ian's head gently. "Andy, you are going shopping for school stuff tomorrow."

Andy's mouth fell open. "Do I have to?"

"You do unless you want your mom to pick out everything," Caleb said.

Andy considered the implications. What if she picked out baby stuff that wasn't cool anymore. "Are you gonna go?"

"I'll be at work," Caleb said, apologetically.

Andy sighed. "We can make it quick."

Caleb left him to wash off the day's grime. He relished the warm water and tried not to take too long of a shower. Yes, he was tired but April had been with the kids the entire day. She'd need a break too. He toweled off and tossed his dirty clothes and towel in the hamper. He saw small fingers under the door and a car positioned a few inches away. He pushed the car back under the door and opened it.

Ian picked up his car and grinned at Caleb.

Caleb scooped him up. "Are you ready to eat?"

Ian nodded. He was always hungry.

Caleb sat him down at the table and told him to wait.

Andy ran to the kitchen too and grabbed plates to set the table. That was one of his jobs. "Can Owen come over?"

"Tomorrow?" April asked. "Maybe."

"I promise we won't do anything we aren't supposed to," Andy said.

Caleb snorted. "We will talk to Owen's parents." The two boys together were always trouble. They were good boys but there was too much in the world that was far too tempting for them to never do anything wrong. "I found a van that I think would be perfect. It is a good deal. I was thinking we could look at it when I get off work tomorrow."

April swallowed her food. "Are you sure we have enough?"

"Yes," Caleb said. "You need a good vehicle to carry these guys around."

"I like the truck," Andy said.

"We will keep it. We will just have the truck and a van." Caleb explained.

Andy relaxed. "Is it the kind with DVD players?"

"Oh, I don't know about that," Caleb said. "We will have to check it out tomorrow."

Andy cleared his plate and put it in the sink. "Thanks for dinner, mama."

April smiled. "You are welcome."

Andy was trying to work on his manners. He was going into second grade so he needed to be more mature. His mom liked when he was polite so he tried to do that more often.

Ian wiggled out of his seat to follow Andy.

Caleb took April's plate and started to wash the dishes. "How are you feeling?"

April propped her feet on a chair. "Like a whale."

Caleb flicked her with water.

"I had more energy yesterday and today. I'm trying to get things done before I'm too big to move." April said.

Caleb looked at her stomach. "You are still tiny."

"I feel bigger this time," April said. She held her stomach.

Caleb could tell by the way she was looking at herself that she was a touch self-conscious. "If you mean weight-wise, you and I are going to have issues."

April snapped her head up, blushing.

"You were starving when you were pregnant with Ian." He sat down next to her and spun his chair so they were sitting face to face. "You are beautiful." He reached out to trace along her jawline. "I don't want you thinking differently."

April leaned her head to the side to rest it against his hand. "With all of these compliments, my head is going to get big."

Caleb pulled her to him, letting her sit on one of his legs. "That is okay. I don't say anything that isn't true."

April melted, feeling his hand squeeze her thigh.

Caleb patted her hip. "Do you think the boys would go for an early bedtime?"

April smiled. "I think they'd wake up early."

Caleb groaned. "I'm going to take them and the dog for a walk. Maybe all three will be tired by the time we get back."

April stood up. "You're so selfless."

Caleb kissed her again. "Do you want to walk with us?"

April shrugged. "I could use the exercise."

Andy got Riot's leash on him and waited by the door. He liked going on walks with his family. They got to talk and the weather was still pretty. He jumped down the steps with Riot and paused. He formed a thin line with his lips. "Dad."

Caleb stepped outside. "Oh, hi Jimmy."

Jimmy's eyes widened.

"Why are you over here?" Andy asked.

Jimmy stammered. "Uh, I lost a ball."

Caleb looked around. "You shouldn't cross the street without an adult. We will walk you back over and I'll let you know if we find the ball."

Jimmy acted offended. "I can cross the street by myself because I'm not a baby."

Andy bristled.

Caleb held up his hand. "Baby or not, you are short." He opened his truck door and helped Jimmy into the front seat. He asked Andy to stand in front of the truck. "Can you see Andy?"

Jimmy shook his head.

Caleb asked April to stand by Andy.

Jimmy could see her face and shoulders.

"See, if I was driving through, I wouldn't see you," Caleb said. He helped Jimmy out of the truck. "Even if you look both ways, you can't be sure a driver won't be speeding through here." He walked Jimmy back to his house and knocked on the door, having a feeling that Jimmy wasn't supposed to be outside.

Jimmy's mom answered the door. "Wha- Jimmy?"

"He lost a ball and was looking for it at our house," Caleb said. "We are going for a walk so I thought I'd walk him back over here. What color is the ball?"

Jimmy stammered. "Red.. no blue. Blue and red."

Jimmy's mom grabbed his wrist and jerked him inside the house. "Uh, thanks."

Caleb stepped back. So there was not a ball.

Andy was on high alert. "What if he was messing with the warding?"

"I don't think he was," Caleb said.

"He didn't have a ball. He was at our house for a reason. What if he was a demon?" Andy asked quickly.

"Then he would have gotten stuck inside the truck," Caleb said, reminding Andy that the truck was warded too. "He was probably just snooping around."

Andy looked back toward his house. "What if he was messing with my bike?"

Caleb nodded. "That could be a possibility."

"What if he cut the breaks and I die because I couldn't stop and got ran over by a car?" Andy asked.

"Oh boy, I don't think there is an attempted murder here. I will check your bike before you ride it." Caleb said. He pointed to some birds flying overhead. "What kind of birds are those?"

"Gooses?" Andy asked.

"Geese." Caleb corrected.

April stopped with Ian. She took his hand. "You can't go in the street."

Ian pointed to a rock and whined.

April grabbed it and handed it to Ian.

Ian carried it with him like his most prized possession. He chattered with April and got frustrated when he couldn't chase after stray cats.

Caleb took over with Ian. He just had to say no and Ian would step back onto the sidewalk. On their way back to the house, Ian gasped loudly.

"Kitty!" He picked up the pace, trying to get to the kitty before Caleb stopped him.

Caleb quickly grabbed him. "Not a kitty!"

Ian cried and reached for the retreating animal. "Kitty."

"Racoon," Caleb said. "You can't pet them. They will scratch you up."

Ian buried his face in Caleb's chest. "Kitty."

Caleb rubbed his back. "That was a very mean kitty." He chuckled. "We can add raccoons and skunks to the list of things you boys shouldn't mess with."

Riot looked to the woods' edge and back to Caleb with a whine.

Caleb sighed. "Riot, we are going to have to work on this. You can't be friends with everything."

Riot shook himself and licked Andy's hand. There wasn't a mean bone in his body. While some dogs would chase cats and other critters, Riot was content sniffing them and following them around.

Caleb told April and the kids to go through the backyard. He had a suspicion that he wanted to set right. He walked around the side of the house and saw Jimmy in their yard again. He had something in his hand and was crouched beside a bush. Caleb closed the gap between them and put a hand on the back of Jimmy's neck. "Lose your ball again?"

Jimmy fell forward, dropping a lighter from his hand.

Andy looked through the window in the front of the house. He narrowed his eyes. Jimmy was bad news.

Caleb picked up the lighter and asked Jimmy why he had it.

Jimmy shook his head.

"What is in your other hand?" Caleb asked.

Jimmy put his hand behind him.

Caleb looked at the side of the house, trying to figure out why Jimmy was there. He opted to take Jimmy's arm and lead him back over to his house. He knocked on the door again, that time, with more force.

Jimmy's mom was shocked to see Caleb and Jimmy again.

Caleb cleared his throat. "He was back in our yard and had this." He placed the lighter in the mom's hand.

Jimmy crossed his arms. "That isn't mine."

Andy saw Jimmy drop something when they were walking away and went outside to get it. He ran until he got to the edge of the sidewalk and stopped so that he didn't set foot in the road. "Daddy!"

Caleb whipped his head around. He asked Andy why he was outside.

Andy held up something and waited for Caleb to walk back to him. "When you grabbed his arm, he dropped this."

Caleb took a stink bomb from Andy and shook his head. "Get back in the house."

Andy took off running again and slipped back into the house, watching from a closed window.

"He also had this," Caleb said.

Jimmy huffed. "No, I didn't. Andy just handed you that."

Jimmy's mom was still shocked.

"Were you going to light it and leave it in front of that vent?" Caleb asked.

Jimmy shook his head. "It isn't mine."

Caleb looked at the mom, hoping that she would pitch in.

"I told you to stay inside." She said.

Caleb pinched the bridge of his nose. "This is a stink bomb. When you light it, it smells awful. That vent leads to the laundry room. Air comes out there. Had you thrown the thing in the vent, it could have started a fire. If you were just going to leave it on the ground, the outside of the house would smell."

Jimmy shifted. "I was going to leave it on the ground."

Caleb nodded. He pocketed the stink bomb and waited for Jimmy's mom to be useful.

"Jimmy, go inside. Stay inside. I mean it."

Caleb heard Jimmy run up the stairs and changed his stance.

"I'm sorry." Jimmy's mom said. "I don't even know where he got this."

"This isn't the first time he's been over at our house. I've got a wife that is pregnant, Andy, and a toddler. Stink bombs are harmless in a sense. However, he had no idea what he was doing with it. I typically keep my mouth shut but this seems to be an ongoing issue. If Andy had crossed the street after leaving the house without an adult, after being told to stay inside, he'd be getting his butt busted. To add to that, he knows not to mess with lighters. Andy will never do anything like this because he knows what will happen if he does. Maybe keep that in mind. I don't want to see Jimmy back at our house unless he intends to play nicely." Caleb said.

Jimmy's mom's face turned red. "Of course, I'm sorry. It won't happen again."

Andy darted away from the window as Caleb came through the front door.

Caleb sat down on the couch and called Andy over. "Did you leave the house?"

Andy froze. "I saw him drop something."

Caleb nodded. "You left the house though. You know not to do that."

Andy slumped. "I wasn't thinking."

Caleb swatted him once. "Think next time. The better option would be to wait until I get back and point to it or to yell out the window."

Andy nodded quickly. "Yes, sir."

Caleb patted the back of his leg. "Fix the salt line."

Andy ran over and completed the line of salt. "Was he gonna blow up the house?"

Caleb chuckled. "No. He would have just made it smell bad."

Andy scrunched his face.

"I did tell his mom that you would have gotten your butt busted for doing something like that," Caleb said.

Andy gasped. "Dad!"

"I can't tell her what to do with her kid but I made it clear I'm raising mine to be better," Caleb said.

Andy looked back out the window. "You don't have to embarrass me."

Caleb got up and put a hand on Andy's shoulder. "I can see how that could have been embarrassing. If it makes you feel any better, that was parent speak for me suggesting that she bust his butt."

Andy was satisfied. "I'm sorry I ran out of the house."

"You know not to now. Slow down and think before you do things." Caleb added, gently.

"Why do some kids have to be mean?" Andy asked, looking up at Caleb with confusion in his eyes.

"I don't know. Sometimes, they just don't know how to play the right way. That can be what happens when kids take toys or sometimes yell or hit. Other times, they are in a bad mood or have something going on at home. That is why I want you to walk away and tell me if someone is being mean to you. With Jimmy, I don't know. He may still blame you for Owen not being his friend. He may be jealous that you have a puppy."

"He is annoying," Andy said, crossing his arms.

"He is but you are going to ignore him and carry on about your business," Caleb said.

Andy was deep in thought. "What if he comes back?"

Caleb rubbed his face. "I don't know."

Andy had an idea. "John could talk to him. He's pretty scary."

Caleb smiled. "John is nice."

Andy made a weird face. "Not when you mess with his truck."

Caleb sucked air through his teeth. "Boy, I know how that goes."

Andy followed Caleb to the couch. "Did you mess with his truck?"

Caleb considered not telling Andy the story but figured it wouldn't hurt. "When Dean and I were teenagers, we made a bad choice and drank some moonshine. We got very very drunk."

Andy gasped in horror.

"John had to pick us up. Then, I got sick in the truck." Caleb said, pausing for effect. "He wasn't happy about that."

Andy's eyes were wide. "What did he do?"

Caleb whistled quietly. "I was a teenager so he skinned me with his belt. It was worse because we tried to drive back first. You may think you got your butt handed to you the other day but let me tell you, he was being very nice."

"Your dad didn't whoop you?" Andy asked.

"No. My dad wasn't there. I met Sam and Dean when I was a young teenager, probably about Kate and Taylor's age. Our dads both hunted. So, sometimes I'd spend time with Sam and Dean while my dad was gone. That time, he was far far away." Caleb said.

"When did he die?" Andy asked.

"When I was 17," Caleb answered.

Andy frowned. "Where did you go?"

"Well, I was almost an adult. He wasn't around much when I was a teenager. So, I already knew how to live by myself."

"I don't want you to do that," Andy said.

"No, I'll be around when you are a teenager. Nothing is going to be more important than you." Caleb replied, putting an arm around Andy's back.

"When I get drunk, I won't try to drive," Andy announced.

"It is best to just never get drunk," Caleb said with a chuckle.

"When did you start drinking?"

Caleb cringed. "I was a bad kid and didn't wait until I was old enough. You are going to wait though."

Andy nodded. "That was a really silly thing to do."

"Yeah, it was. Now, I get to be the grown-up and tell you things like this so you don't do those silly things."

"How did you even get moonshine?" Andy asked, suddenly.

"Uh, that is a long story. John was gone at first so we were able to sneak around. That being said, you have me and your mom. Plus, you have Dean, Bobby, John, and everyone else. So, you, young man, cannot sneak around." Caleb said.

"Bobby says you and Dean were pains in the... um... butt," Andy said.

Caleb smiled. "Yes, we were. I do believe it is bedtime."

Andy sighed. "Can't I stay up longer?"

"You have a big day of shopping tomorrow," Caleb said with a smirk.

"Dad, don't remind me." Andy groaned.

"Go brush your teeth. I'll read you a book before bed." Caleb called after him.

Andy turned around. "No books. I want you to tell me the story about the snake in Bobby's house."

Caleb snorted and waved him off.

April wrapped her arms around Caleb from behind. "What is the story about the snake?"

Caleb turned and kissed her forehead. "Dean and I may have found a snake and decided to scare Sam. Said snake may have gotten loose in the house for a few days. Then, the snake may have found its way into Bobby's chair and bit his ass when he went to sit down."

April cracked up and pressed her forehead against Caleb's chest. "Oh my god, Caleb! Did he have to go to the hospital?"

"No, it wasn't venomous," Caleb said with a twinkle in his eyes.
