Chapter 4

Mike was driving towards the dojo in deep thought. He still hadn't had any signs from his sister and was getting worried. He was at a stop sign near the mall shop where the Dojo was waiting for it to change to green.

He was fixing his gloves when he heard a car stopping beside him. He turned to his right to see a red convertible, and two girls were looking at him up and down with smirks.

"Nice bike," The driver said and Mike not wanting to move his helmet just nodded in thanks "Here take this," The driver said passing him a small note. He grabbed it and looked down seeing a phone number there.

Mike nodded and put the paper in his pockets. The girls chuckled and drove off, waving Mike goodbye. He chuckled and figured he should give them a message later. But for now, he drove to the right, heading to the Cobra Kai dojo.

He got there and instantly saw many people in the parking lot. He got curious, as this isn't a common occurrence around here. So, his confusion and curiosity prevailed while he found a parking space and parked his bike.

He took off his helmet and started walking towards the dojo where he saw a bunch of teens waiting and watching a video of Miguel kicking Tyler's ass. He found two familiar faces there and approached them.

"Eli? What are you doing here?" Mike asked as he approached Eli and Dimitri.

"That's my exact question too," Dimitri said with an exasperation sigh and Mike just gave him a side-eye glance and continued to focus on Eli.

"Miguel looked cool. He kicked ass, and well," Eli trailed off and Mike nodded in understanding.

"I see. Good luck, you'll need it," Mike said as he entered the dojo, leaving a confused Eli and Dimitri behind.

He took off his shoes and stepped on the mat as he walked to the office where Miguel and His Sensei were talking. It seemed private so he just gave them a nod and walked to the restroom to change into his Gi.

He locked the restroom door behind him as he started taking out his Gi clothes and was about to start changing but then his phone started to vibrate. He grabbed it and his eyes winded when he saw who it was.

"Nee-san, you called back," Mike said as he took a set on the toilet to try and calm himself.

"Well, big brother. 10 calls in the last two days, it's kind of hard to miss," His sister said in Japanese as he unconsciously slipped into that language too.

"It's good to hear your voice Maiko, I missed you," Mike said and his sister gave him a chuckle.

"Likewise Mitsuki. Your voice is a little raspier than I remember. Have you been smoking?" Maiko asked sarcastically and Mike snorted.

"Right if I did that my uncle would kill me," Mike said and Maiko chuckled a little.

"How is he? I still get his letters from time to time," Maiko said and Mike groaned in embarrassment. He knew his uncle was olf school but this was too much.

"I told him to stop, but he just doesn't understand Insta," Mike said and then sighed "He's not good. I mean is not bad, but sometimes he keeps coughing a lot and I can't help but worry about him," Mike said rubbing his face.

"I see, well you were always the type to worry too much. Don't forget that our family members are though, he's going to be fine," Maiko said and Mike's face formed a small smile.

"I hope you're right," Mike said and then he heard his sister sighing.

"Mitsuki, I don't mean to be rude. But why are you calling me this much?" Maiko said and Mike sighed and leaned back.

"Don't laugh, but I got a bad feeling," Mike said and Maiko snorted.

"A bad feeling? Really?" Maiko asked sarcastically and Mike groaned in annoyance.

"I told you not to laugh," Mike said and his sister let a small laugh as Mike pinched his nose.

"Sorry, it was funny to hear," Maiko said and then she sighed "But you're right on the nose big brother. Are you like a psychic or something?" Maiko asked sarcastically and this time Mike didn't engage, knowing that his sister needed time to speak up.

"Training has been hard, and I don't know if you saw our show last week, but I don't know. I feel too, what's the word, tight, there are too many rules and well, this is not what I had in mind when I joined," Maiko said.

"Remember Kumiko-san's plays back in Okinawa? When we sat in the first row and we just watched her show for hours and hours to no end?" Maiko said and Mike hummed.

"Yeah, I remember how happy you were when she picked you to help her on her show. Mother said she never had seen a bigger smile from you," Mike said, "I think we still have the footage of it," Mike said.

"Really? Wow, if you find it please send it to me," Maiko said with a chuckle and then she sighed "I don't know what I was expecting but this feels different, back then I thought Kumiko-san was the freest person alive. And I just don't feel like that," Maiko said and Mike could hear the melancholy dripping from her voice quite easily.

"It's just an endless process, wake up, physical training, vocal exercises, then school, homework, sleep, and repeat. And that's without counting the whole politics that goes in this place," Maiko said and Mike sighed.

"Is too corporate, that's what you mean right?" Mike said and he could picture Maiko nodding her head with the ruffling that he heard.

"Yes, and well you know me. That just isn't my cup of tea," Maiko said and Mike nodded.

"You could always come here, you know there's a home with me and Uncle," Mike said a bit hopeful. He was trying to help her but he also missed his sister. So maybe he could kill two birds with one stone with this.

"Don't tempt me. You know I do want to, I miss you too much, and Uncle too," Maiko said amusement coming out with that sentence.

"But?" Mike asked in curiosity a bit sad but still understanding.

"I need to see this through. I owe it to myself and my other teammates, I have half a year left. And then I'll have my decision," Maiko said with conviction in her voice. And that made Mike smile. At least his sister still had the hard-ass personality he loved so much.

"Well, if you ever need anything. You know I'm here for you, right? Always," Mike said sympathetic and Maiko snorted in amusement.

"Yeah, you never let me forget it," Maiko said. And then a pause invaded the two "Hey big brother, can you tell me how you've been? What's new with you?" Maiko asked and Mike blinked in confusion.

"Me? Um, well I joined a Karate Dojo," Mike said and Maiko snorted.

"Wait a Dojo? Really? After all this time? Tell me more," Maiko asked and Mike scratched his head.

"Well, its name is Cobra Kai. This rough-looking vagabond sensei runs it but he is a cool Sensei, and," Mike said as he started telling her all he has been through in this past month. She listened quietly and intently taking all in.

What Mike didn't realize is that while he talked about his past experiences, a longing grew in his sister. Mike had found a place for himself and now Maiko knew that she wanted that for herself too. Maybe it would be better to be back with her brother after all.

Mike was sitting in a crossed-legged position on top of the mat pile on the corner looking at all the prospects in front of him. He was not impressed but he couldn't complain much, though he wondered if Johnny would have the patience to teach them from the ground up.

He knew he could do it if Miguel's training had anything to say about it. But Miguel was desperate and he refused to quit. The same cannot be said for the people in front of him.

Mike's eyes landed on Eli. It always made Mike wonder how similar he used to be to the kid in front of him back in the day. He knew what it took for him to leave the shame and embarrassment his scar brought behind. A part of him always got frustrated when he saw Eli just letting it all get to him. He hoped he could rise above it, but time will tell.

His thoughts were interrupted as he looked to the left and saw his Sensei leaving his office while looking at the new students.

Both men crossed eyes and Mike gave him a nod silently telling him he got this as Johnny took a deep breath and focused ahead.

"Ok, today we begin," Johnny said trying to get everyone's attention to no avail then he swallowed some saliva "Quiet!" He shouted scaring all the new students into paying attention.

Mike watched carefully as Johnny started walking forward looking at all the new students "Nice shirt," Johnny said to Dimitri as the teen looked down.

"Thanks," Dimitri said missing the sarcasm in Johnny's tone.

"I'm joking it sucks," Johnny said and Mike shook his head and pinched his nose. He thought at least his Sensei would tone it down a bit but he was mistaken.

Johnny kept going around making fun and notes of certain individuals before addressing all of them "When I look around this dojo, I don't see Cobra Kai material," Johnny said referring to the new prospects "I see losers, I see nerds," Johnny said "I see a fat kid with a funny hat with his tits popping out," Johnny said

"Jesus Christ," Mike thought as he crossed eyes with Miguel and they both shrugged. They expected this but not this much and both let out an exasperated sigh.

"But in my short time as a sensei. I've also seen some miracles," Johnny said looking at Miguel and Aisha "Maybe there's some hope for you yet," Johnny said before looking at the rest of the students.

"But first I need to see where you at, so everybody fall in!" Johnny said as Mike stepped down off the mats and the students looked around in confusion not knowing what to do "That means to line up," Johnny explained and the students nodded in understanding and started forming two lines behind Aisha and Miguel.

"No, not line up in a line. Lines!" Johnny tried to explain but still, the students looked at him in confusion "Get in lines," Johnny said and Demitri looked at him in confusion.

"You mean like rows?" He asked in confusion and Johnny groaned and put his hands in his face in frustration.

"Yes, rows of six people facing this way," Mike said taking over before Johnny could lose his patience "Starting from Miguel's place to here," He said pointing in front of him as Johnny crossed his arms and saw the students hesitate to move.

"You heard him, get a move on," Johnny said as the student quickly fell into the line position.

"We are gonna start simple and with the basics. First, when I ask you to get into fighting positions this is what I expect of you," Johnny said "Mike, please demonstrate," Johnny said as Mike got into fighting position "Was that clear?" Johnny said as most students nodded their heads

"Okay then, fighting positions!" Johnny shouted as everyone got into the pose Mike made before "Mike. Get these girls set," Johnny said as Mike started walking around the rows fixing the stance of people.

"Okay. When I say so you show me your right jab." Johnny said as people nodded in understanding

"Pull your leg a bit back," Mike said as he fixed a kid's posture and then carried on. "Move your fist up. They're meant to guard your face, not your chest." He said as another kid nodded and fixed it.

This process continued as Johnny tested their strikes and he was about to give Eli some advice since he wasn't throwing jabs with enough force. But it seems Johnny saw it first.

"Hey, lip," Johnny said and Mike prayed to whoever listened for Johnny to not take it so far. Eli looked around a bit hoping he wasn't referring to him but Johnny doubled down on it. "Yeah you, the one with the freaky lip. Who do you think I'm talking to?" Johnny said and Dimitri went up right to his defense.

"Excuse me, uh, Mr. Lawrence," Dimitri said and immediately Mike let his presence known having placed himself behind Eli.

"Sensei Lawrence," He said seriously preventing Aisha from talking back but Demitri just snorted and continued on his tirade.

"You really shouldn't make fun of someone's physical appearance," Dimitri said and Johnny looked at him a bit annoyed.

"Oh is that so," Johnny said a bit sarcastic "So, I'm not supposed to mention his lip at all?" Johnny asked and Dimitri nodded his head

"Well yeah," Dimitri said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. And perhaps it was in a dream world. But in the real world people would always find a way to make fun of someone's deformities or disadvantages. It was just the way of the world, at least from Mike's perspective.

A sentiment that Johnny seemed to carry "Maybe that's what they teach you at school, but in the real world, you can't expect people to do what they're supposed to do," Johnny said addressing the whole room "You heard that, Lip?" Johnny said as Eli looked down "If you can't handle someone making fun of you, how are you going to handle an elbow to the teeth?" Johnny asked not really expecting a response but Dimitri gave him one either way.

"Um by calling the police," Dimitri said with a pompous tone in his voice. And Eli had to take a step back since Mike had started to walk toward Dimitri.

"Dude," Miguel said clearly seeing the annoyance in his Sensei and Mile alike. "Knock it off," He said trying to tell him to behave.

"What? He does realize the Nazis lost the war, right?" Dimitri said not realizing of Mike's approach "You think I'm scared because he has a big black snake on his wall? It's not like he can give us a bad grade. We're paying him. He-" He continued on his tirade but stopped when he saw Mike standing in front of him with a cold stare.

Mike didn't say anything at first he just looked up and down at him before speaking out loud "If you think I'm gonna let you disrespect this dojo or my sensei without any type of consequence then you're delusional." Mike said as he started glaring at Dimitri "If you don't like the way this is. Then there's the door, kusu ya ro," Mike said letting a son of a bitch in the end in his native tongue.

He may have done furthermore but he felt a hand on his shoulder "Calm down Mr. Takahashi. I'll handle it from here," Johnny said and what came next could only be described as a humiliation on Dimitri's part.

Mike didn't actually care much for the teen who was currently lying on the mat face up. If your gonna chat shit you best be ready for the consequences.

Both Miguel and Mike were having lunch at the entrance of the school. Just time bonding with one another. Especially about the two days of fiasco with their sensei teaching since he had driven a lot of students out of the dojo.

"You know our sensei is a bit of a bastard. You got to give him time to adapt." Mike said as Miguel took a drink out of his juice box "Not long ago he was throwing us baseballs with that machine," Mike said getting a snort out of Miguel "I think is better if they leave. If they can't handle it at this stage. Better if they quit now," Mike said taking a bite out of his lunch.

"You're probably right. It's still frustrating though." Miguel said and Mike couldn't help but agree with him "In other topics, I need your opinion on something," Miguel said raising Mike's curiosity.

"What is it?" Mike asked and Miguel showed him a video/gif of a pig with a voice over of him.

"Is just this video idea and I wanted to tag Sam on it and I don't know," Miguel said and Mike just looked at him a bit amused.

"You're cute," Mike said embarrassing Miguel a bit "If this was any other girl I would tell you not to post this. But go ahead. She will appreciate it," Mike said and Miguel looked at him a bit amazed.

"Are you sure? Isn't it a bit corny?" Miguel asked and Mike just snorted

"Oh, it is. It's super corny," Mike said making Miguel more embarrassed than before "But luckily for you. Sam digs corny stuff and it is a private joke of you two. So go ahead dude," Mike said and Miguel was about to do it but then the bell rang

"I'll do it after school, I'll see you at the dojo, right?" Miguel said and Mike gave him a nod. He didn't have to go anywhere perks of having a free period he guessed.

He was about to go for a walk but then he saw someone standing behind him "Yasmine," Mike said as he saw the blond teen previously his crush standing there with a worried look.

"Mike. Can we talk?" Yasmine said and Mike, having been taught some manners by his uncle, just nodded and let her speak "I haven't seen you since the dance," She said and he raised an eyebrow at him

"Wonder why," He said a bit sarcastically. Maybe Johnny was rubbing off a bit on him.

"I know, I know. Look, I hate the ways things ended between us," Yasmine said and Mike crossed his arms "I really do like you. I just," Yasmine said and Mike let out a sigh

"Dating someone with a scar is hard. I get it," Mike said crossing his arms and Yasmine was about to retort but he stopped her "Look I get the status you have is very important for you. I get that. I just hoped I was enough for you to not care about it. I was wrong." Mike said and Yasmine looked down in frustration

"What do you want me to say here, Mike?" Yas asked frustrated and Mike looked hard at her

"I just want you to do things because you want to Yas. Not because of what others may think." Mike said as he started walking past her "And also," Mike said as Yasmine looked behind her

"I know you're popular and all. But I never thought of you as mean," Mike said but then he got a serious look in his eyes "But posting that video of Aisha. That was pretty mean of you Yas," Mike said before leaving her there pondering on what he had said.

He left and didn't look back. He did like her and in another world, he might have pursued something with her later on. But that was over. That will never happen it seems.

Mike was walking into Larusso's Dealership with the purpose of meeting with Amanda and Daniel again. Seems they were interested in an exclusivity deal with TK Motors and his uncle had entrusted him with this deal.

It was Mike's idea and in his uncle's mind, it was his to land it or lose it. So he went and bought himself a black suit and fixed his hair a bit. He looked a lot like a businessman and although his uncle told him he looked nice. He couldn't help but feel a bit uncomfortable.

So when he entered the dealership he went straight for some coffee to ease his nerves. He started making it but noticed there was no sugar. He looked around but found none till a person around his age brought a tray of sugar out.

"Sorry man we ran out and I was just bringing it," He said apologetically. Mike nodded and took two bags of sugar for himself.

"Thanks, Robby," Mike said noticing the name on the teen's shirt "You're new around here? I didn't see you last time I was here," Mike said putting sugar into his coffee.

"Started yesterday. A way to earn some cash you know," Robby said and Mike nodded his head and put a hand forward after finishing preparing his coffee.

"I'm Mike. Nice to meet you, Robby," Mike said as Robby shook his hand

"May I ask why are you here? Are you here for a job interview?" Robby asked and Mike didn't find any malice on his question. But Robby still found himself wanting to explain himself "Is just that you look the same age as me so," Robby said and Mike gave him a lighthearted smile at him

"Don't worry. Seeing a teenager in a suit around her must be pretty weird," Mike said taking a sip of his coffee "I'm here looking for a partnership with the Larussos," Mike said wondering a bit why he was sharing info with a complete stranger but Robby seems like a good soul

"Aren't you a bit young for that stuff?" Robby asked not believing a bit what he was hearing. Mike snorted and nodded his head feeling the same deep down.

"I am. But the company I'm representing is a family type one," Mike said looking at Robby in the eye " I know how it sounds. Nepotism at its best. But we got to take advantage of the cards we're dealt don't we," Mike said and Robby couldn't help but nod

"True that," Robby said as he finished putting the sugar where they belonged "Well I have to continue working. Hope the deal works for you," Robby said and Mike nodded his head.

"Me too. Hope to see you around Robby," Mike said as the teen walked away. And as he walked away he wondered why the teen looked so familiar. But he didn't have time to wonder too much. There was a deal to make here.

"Right strike," Mike called out. And Hawk, Eli's new name and a thing that Mike found cool as hell, struck the punching bag with purpose. "You're not following through. Put your back into it," Mike said and the teen in front of him nodded.

Hawk struck again and Mike had to give it to him it was better but he did have a long way to be perfect "Hey I was wondering," Hawk said and Mike looked up "Why do you wear a different color gi than us?" He asked and Mike thought for a second for a good response for the rookie in front of him to understand

"Well, I have more experience than you. I've been doing this most of my life. Karate that is," Mike said as he nodded again for Hawk to strike again "So Sensei granted me first dan. One of the ranks you can get in Karate, and I serve as an assistant for Sensei and such. That's why the black gi," Mike explained himself and Hawk nodded in understanding.

"So, have you fought in any tournaments?" He asked. Mike quickly gained a pained and nostalgic but it went away before Hawk could see it.

"A couple. But I only won one when I was fourteen and before we moved here to America." Mike explained and Hawk's eyes grew big impressed by what he was hearing "Toughest thing I have ever done but it was so worth it," Mike said

"So cool. Think I could ever get on your level?" Hawk said and Mike stopped holding the punching bag

"I'll be honest. No," Mike said and Hawk's eyes winded "No one can ever get on someone else level. Ever. Their experience and teachings will always set them apart. So getting on my level is not something you should aim for," Mike said and Eli nodded in understanding taking all the information in

"You should be aiming to surpass me. Be better than me, that can be achieved," Mike said and noticed the glimpse of ambition behind Hawk's eyes "Not that I will make it easy for you though," Mike said putting himself behind the punching bag once more.

"Wouldn't want to," Hawk said and started the strikes again

"So, what made you join the dojo in the end?" Mike asked in curiosity. He was here when he walked out and when he came in with this new persona. And he couldn't help his curiosity.

"I needed to take control of my scar," Hawk said reminiscing of the words Mike had told him and the other teen snorted remembering that time.

"Good reason. Though the tattoo may have been a bit overboard won't you agree?" Mike said a bit sarcastically and Hawk blushed a bit while looking away a bit

"Shut up. I thought it was best to go all the way." Hawk said and Mike chuckled a bit.

"It looks cool as fuck though," Mike had to admit "Think you could hook me up sometime?" Mike asked and Hawk looked at him in curiosity.

"You want a tattoo as well?" Hawk asked and Mike found himself nodding his head. He passed his fingers along his right arm before speaking out again.

"I've been thinking of getting one for a while. A dragon sleeve tattoo perhaps," Mike said tilting his head and Hawk nodded his head.

"Yeah, that sounds dope as hell. I'll definitely hook you up," Hawk said and then Mike looked back to see if Johnny was looking.

"Okay, don't tell sensei," Mike said when he saw him deep in his office "I'm teaching you how to kick," Mike said moving around and Hawk's eyes went wide.

"Really?" Hawk asked in shock

"Yeah," Mike said and then took a stance "You see. Punching is cool and looks very badass. But kicking," Mike said before looking at Hawk with a smirk on his face "Kicking is everything you could ever want," Mike said and he took a deep breath in

Then he made a side kick into the bag with enough force to echo in the whole dojo. Hwak'smeyes grew wide with excitement and Mike gave him a smirk while getting back into a normal stance.

"Now you try it," Mike said and started giving pointers to Hawk. He was glad that Eli was getting out of his shell and it was just a matter of time for this confidence to grow.

Mike was rarely amazed or confused. But standing here in Johnny's apartment he was feeling a mixture of those two emotions very strongly. How could anyone live in this mess and call it home was one of the few thoughts running through his head.

Mike had nothing better to do and decided to join Johnny in this endeavor. Mainly because he worried he would get angry and punch a commissioner.

"You really don't have any other suit?" Mike asked while watching Johnny get dressed and ready.

"Nope, the others are either broken or don't fit me anymore," Johnny said as he turned around and stared at Mike "Do I look bad or something?" He asked and Mike shook his head.

"No, it's fine. It is a small committee in LA so lack of proper decorum won't offend them," Mike said confusing Johnny by those chosen words. "Just hide your tie a bit. It's a bit skinny and it kind of doesn't go with the suit," Mike said as Johnny nodded and fixed his suit.

"Where did you learn those things anyway?" Johnny asked in curiosity and Mike raised an eyebrow at him in confusion "You know, fashion and that," Johnny explained further and Mike crossed his arms

"My mom and my sister mostly," Mike said reminiscing a bit "My mom cared a lot about us but she also was a stickler for proper decorum. So I learned very quickly what to dress and what not to dress depending on the occasion," Mike said and Johnny nodded in understanding.

"And your sister?" Johnny asked looking at himself in the mirror

"She was the popular girl. And told me she wouldn't stand for a family member related to her not having a good fashion sense," Mike said with a tone of amusement in his voice.

"Sounds like you miss her," Johnny said and Mike snorted while nodding his head.

"I do. But she has her own stuff and I cannot go there and interrupt her," Mike said passing a hand through his hair. Johnny nodded his head in understanding and didn't press it. "What about you sensei? Got anyone like that?" Mike asked in curiosity and Johnny was about to respond picturing a certain person in his mind but a knock on the door interrupted their conversation.

"Sensei? Are you home?" Both Johnny and Mike heard Miguel's voice on the outside and Johnny quickly ushered him in. "Mike? What are you doing here?" Miguel asked in curiosity.

"Preventing our sensei from doing something stupid," Mike said with a cheek as he started walking to the door "I'll wait by the car. Give you ladies a moment to bond," Mike said leaving the apartment.

He approached Johnny's car and started playing with his phone when he received a message. It was a selfie of a concert his sister was having and he couldn't help but smile at that photo.

Then he got another two messages. The first one was his uncle telling him good job and that confused him a bit but then he received a message from Amanda Larusso that said "We'll be happy to take you on your offer Mike," And he couldn't help but celebrate a bit.

But then he started getting a call that got him scared a bit and almost made him drop his phone. He answered it and a familiar voice was on the other line.

"Mitsuki-sama. It has been a while," An old Japanese male voice rang through the phone and Mike couldn't help but get serious.

"Yuji-san. It has been indeed. How are things back home?" Mike said starting facing back and forth. He hoped he could do some business while avoiding his company's attention but it wasn't meant to be it seems.

"Same old same old." Yuji said as Mike crossed his arms getting nervous by the second "Good thinking with this new partnership. Save us the cost of putting a shop there," Yuji said and Mike grew silent while leaning on the car. He knew why Yuji was calling but he wouldn't be the one to bring it up.

"Am I right to believe that you are making a play at CEO?" Yuji asked and that was one of the things he liked about the old man. He was that he didn't beat around the bush.

"Perhaps. It has been discussed between me and my uncle. Why? Do you disagree with this move?" Mike asked and got a serious look in his eyes

"Never Mitsuki-sama. I would never betray anyone under the name Takahashi. I would rather lose my life than such dishonor," Yuji said and Mike smiled a bit at that display of loyalty "But the right wing won't like it. They still are believers of your father's dogma. And I'm afraid of what they will do when they find out," Yuji said and Mike nodded in understanding.

"I know Yuji-san. We will be careful. But sooner or later they will know and I need to be ready when it happens," Mike said and then looked ahead while narrowing his eyes. "I hate to ask you to do this. But can you keep an eye out for me?" Mike said as he saw Johnny leaving his apartment

"Consider it done Mitsuki-sama," Yuji said ending the call. Mike put his phone away as he saw Johnny approaching the car.

"Ready kid? Let's get going," Johnny said getting Mike back into reality as he was busy thinking what this all meant. But whatever it was he would be ready for it.

Takahashi's household

"Uncle I'm back!" Mitsuki shouted into the home and received a response very fast telling him that his uncle was in the training room.

Mike walked there while stretching a bit. Today had been a very productive day. They got into the All Valley as Johnny wanted. Mike had to admit it he was impressed. He didn't need to go. His Sensei handled himself very well and got them that entrance.

Still, he was very tired so he needed a good night's rest but not before saying hi to his uncle. He walked inside the training room but stopped when he saw the darkness surrounding it.

"Come in Mitsuki. We have a lot to discuss," There in the middle of it stood his uncle with only the light of a candle revealing his face

"What's with all the darkness uncle?" Mike asked and Tadano looked at him with full seriousness in his eyes.

"It is time for you to learn the other side of this family," Tadano said as he nodded down inviting Mike to take a seat "The darkness that surrounds us," Tadano said and Mike took a crossed-legged seat across his uncle. Whatever this was this was serious so he decided to put attention

"It all started with your grandfather," Tadano said carrying on with his story.
