Satisfied with her conclusion, the Chief nodded to herself, her patient could be discharged today. She'd gone over Calliope Iphegenia Torres' chart, spoken to the woman herself and was content the ortho surgeon could find comfort in her own bed that night.

Well, not quite, she wasn't going to physically discharge her until Arizona was off shift in the hopes they would go home together, in some capacity. She didn't want her friend to be alone, certainly not in the place where her attack happened, until she had a bit more time to heal. She knew she had no right to want or expect it, but she put it down to her Chiefly duties of looking after her staff, not the personal affection she felt.

That girl gonna be the death of me sometimes, coming in here all beaten, like I don't have enough to worry about. She's taken Robbins out of commission, distracted half my attendings and almost turned them into common outlaws. Not that I'm blaming her, but damn Torres, maybe act like a bitch sometimes so my hospital can function when you're down.

It's not typical 'Type A' behaviour to not follow a schedule, especially one they put together their self. It was in place to enable smooth transitions, minimise disturbance and ensure order. But Arizona Robbins was unmoved, she had shoo'ed Wilson away, dismissed her from her duties. The blonde was not sharing or ready to leave Callie's side just yet. When it became time for her to complete her pre-ops checks, then she'll leave and tag in Webber.

"So, the Seahawks & Mariners huh?" Arizona's brows arched, "share with the group."

Callie groaned, it was still a semi-secret, "Err, so turns out both my cartilage research and my artificial limbs program have really caught the eye of the sporting world. Both the NFL and MBL are looking to have dedicated medical professionals, outside of their own club doctors and physios, be available for immediate consult and offer counsel. I don't really get it, surely whoever they hired internally would have been the best at what they need?"

"Well that's why they came to you Calliope, you are the best." Happy grin.

Callie shrugged not mirroring the enthusiasm, "I guess, all I know is when they approached Catherine…"

"Bucks sign for eyes?"

"Bingo."

"Pretty sure that's what she would have said too."

Arizona could not have felt more professional pride as she did at that moment, she was in awe of her wife. Who would have thought that shy, upset girl in the bar bathroom would end up being sought after by multi-billion dollar organisations? Arizona Robbins, that's who.

"So anyway", Callie continued, "I have meetings scheduled at some point, to get an idea of what they need and if it's something I can offer. I'm not sure if they'll need me to complete some sort of fellowship, if they do," stern shake of the head, "I'm not doing it. I'm not giving up my research or losing time with Sofia."

Knowing what her own fellowship had done to them, Arizona thought best not to extend that particular topic, instead she decided to ask more about this mysterious Simon.

She nodded. "By the way, just so I know what to look out for, do you have a picture of this Simon guy?"

Callie thought about and then reached for her phone.

She has a picture of him saved on her phone. It's probably her background, it's probably in her contacts as 'My Love', she's probably got web shortcuts for wedding dresses and venues saved, she's got a family group chat with his family, without me. Me. I'm family, how many pictures has she got 20? 30? 80? Oh my God has she done online quizzes to see their compatibility yet? OH MY GOD WHAT IF HE HAS SENT HER SEXY PICTU- WHAT IF SHE SENT HIM ONE-

"…Yeah, this is his LinkedIn photo, that's all I've got."

Wait, no actual photo SAVED on her phone? Just the one on LinkedIn? That everyone can see? Ha, take THAT Simon. Stupid name for a stupid person with stupid hair.

Arizona inwardly beamed.

Not the time to show glee Robbins.

She held back her delight, "Simon Johnson, seems… a normal name?"

Arizona located the man on her own phone, snapped a screen shot & sent the picture to Bailey. Callie saw and gave her an inquisitive look.

"Bailey wanted to know what he looked like, so she could show security…"

And I could see if he was ugly.

And stalk him on social media.

And hunt him down.

"…so I've just sent it on and asks she cascades. Is that okay? I also want a copy, I know we're no longer married but if he went after you for personal reasons, I need to make sure I'm not at threat and most importantly neither is-"

Jointly, "Sofia."

At that point it became obvious to Callie she had to share everything she could with Arizona. They knew Sofia was priority and she did remember their daughter being one of her initial thoughts when she woke up. Add that to her weird exchange with Teddy, she had to inform her.

"So, apparently I had a half-conscious, half-asleep conversation, interaction type thing with Teddy last night, about what happened."

Arizona sat up straight and waited for her to continue.

"She said she came into the room to remove my phone and I started thrashing, telling her not to hurt me; I then apologised and said she was my daughter." She sighed, "I told him what the veterans project meant to me and I also mentioned you. When I woke up at mine after it happened, I remembered something about Sofia and veterans, but nothing else, but it ties up." Callie was desperately trying to put the puzzle together, but conscious not to falsify her recollections.

Arizona was no longer the stuttering, nervous wreck she'd been up to this point. Gone was the flirting, the gawking, the love. It was all business now, and in fact, she was annoyed it had taken her wife all this time to mention it, that Sofia was one of her early recollections.

"Why didn't you tell me this sooner Callie?" Her voice full of frustration, "that's our daughter, one of the first things you remembered about this attack was Sofia, and you didn't tell me?"

Although Callie couldn't put it into context at the time, she probably would have felt the same way and reacted as such. God they were annoyingly similar.

"I know, it's just between the shock and getting the scans and seeing my Dad I-I- I don't know. I guess I didn't think if it was relevant. Or at least not sure how relevant it wa-"

"There is not a day that goes by where Sofia isn't relevant, Callie", Arizona was escalating.

"Excuse me? Are you accusing me of not thinking our daughter is relevant?"

"You just said you didn't know if she was relev-"

And here comes the Torres anger, "in CONTEXT Arizona! When I woke up, I know my first concerns were for Sofia, she was my first thought because I was scared something had happened to her", cold stare incoming, "don't you dare ever put words into my mouth about our daughter again." Voice completely stoic, "you can leave now."

Arizona wasn't done. "What if he was angry at Sofia and went to find her?"

What the hell?! "He doesn't know what she looks like, where to find her and she's eight Arizona, what do you think he would have done?"

"You were the one inviting him into your bedroom befo-"

"Get out Arizona."

A stand off.

"Dr Bailey, any more word on this Simon guy?" Owen approached his Chief.

The 5-foot powerhouse turned but didn't take her eyes from her phone. She scoffed at the picture in front of her. If this guy shows up at the hospital, he'll be in both the best place, and worst place, for him.

"Matter of fact Dr Robbins has just sent me this photo."

As she lifted her phone to show him, Cristina and Karev scurried over from the nurse's station.

Alex "We know what the guy looks like now? Let me see."

April "Back off Karev, I'm trying to look-"

Christina "You'd be no help in a fight Kepner."

Bailey looked confused, where the hell had April appeared from?

Owen "What's his name?"

Bailey squinted, "Simon Johnson."

Alex "So she'd have been Callie Johnson?"

Cristina "Don't let Roller Girl hear you say that."

Meredith "Okay so we know his name, what about his address?"

Do doctors just appear from thin air now? Who paged Grey 911?

Bailey "This is just a social media picture Grey, it doesn't give his address."

Meredith "What about where he works?"

Bailey "Robbins just sent the photo, not the profile.

Owen "Probably so she can do the damage herself."

Cristina "Okay, so who doesn't have surgery scheduled?"

April and Meredith raised their hands.

Cristina "Okay so you go to the CCTV room, I'll go-"

Bailey "I did not raise a bunch of thugs, what is it with you people? I'm going to share the picture with security-"

Alex "And us."

Bailey "Just security, so they know if the guy comes in here looking for Torres, they know to apprehend him, or take him out, or whatever."

Teddy "What if we see him?"

Doesn't anyone in this place operate or see patients?! Who called for a cardio consult?

Bailey "You call security."

Meredith "What if he's getting away?"

Karev "If he's on hospital property, isn't he fair game?"

April "What kinda Hunger Games rule is that?"

Cristina "You know the Hunger Games? Impressive."

Meredith "We have a right to protect our land."

Alex "Isn't there an amendment somewhere about that?"

Wilson "If I see him I'm gonna beat his ass"

Alex "Nice"

Edwards "Are we expecting him to come here?"

Now residents are coming out the woodwork. Who's looking after patients?!

Bailey "If all my attendings are here and my residents have started to appear, who the hell is looking after my interns and patients?

Meredith "Webber?"

Cristina "He might be on his Callie shift."

Wilson "No, that was supposed to be me, but Dr Robbins kicked me out."

Teddy "So what's the plan?"

Cristina "I'm gonna carry a scalpel with me, then when he-"

"ENOUGH", Bailey having to go into Chief mode sucked sometimes, but it was the only way to stop her irrational crew of medical geniuses from being arrested. "No one is storming the CCTV room, no one is attacking the guy if we see him, no one is going to prison, and no one, Dr Yang, is carrying a weapon."

"It's a surgical instrument in case someone needs an emergency trachea."

"Dr Yang." Bailey no longer in the mood to entertain her staff.

"Fine."

"Seriously people, Callie is fine, I'm going to discharge her today, hopefully to the care of Dr Robbins, that blonde has got on my last nerve, she's worse than you guys. Now scram the lot of you, I know you all have patients."

Like after the CT room, all doctors dispersed. The mob may have disbanded but they were on high alert.
