Zahra struggled and squirmed, but Set's grip was like an immovable object, his hand slipping deeper into her robes, making her panic more as she feared the god would keep his promise to defile her body.

The god hungrily licked his chops, eying his prize up and down her body. "Such a beautiful creature like you should not be hidden underneath unnecessary rags. When I take you as mine, you will be as naked as the day you were born so I may admire every scar and blemish I inflict upon you. Every bite, every bruise from my abuse, all shall see my wrath inflicted upon you… simply because I will enjoy making you my whore, Zahra. You have lost, and only despair awaits in your future."

Zahra could no longer keep herself together and broke down, panicking at her horrid fate closing in as tears of unbridled fear waterfall down her face as she let out her sobs and cried like a frightened child. Zahra struggled and squirmed as hard as she could, even trying her Hom-Dai powers to try and save herself, but her powers did not obey her, and her strength failed her in the face of the god of evil. His hand slipped deeper into her robes, and she could feel his hand feeling her body in ways that made her want to scream, but she could not find the strength to in her growing hysteria.

Set had reached his hand down to her hips, his fist closing around her robes. Zahra realized what he was about to do, and her struggles became frantic and wild as she let out wailing screams of terror to the heavens for the gods to save her, to any god who would listen.

"BAST! BES! SOBEK! HORUS! ISIS! SEKHMET! BABI! OSIRIS! AMUN-RA! ANUBIS! OH, GODS OF EGYPT, PLEASE! HELP ME, I BEG OF YYYYOOOOOUUUUU!"

SSSSHHHHHHRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPP!

Zahra's struggle ceased altogether as Set tore her robe from her body, exposing what remained of her linen wraps and chains that covered her body beneath. Set glared at them, the chains shattering to fragments of links that fell into the sand and her wraps burning away to ash, leaving Zahra utterly exposed as the day she was born for all to see. Her face was a mess of tears and apprehensive fear as she stared at Set with horror and despair upon realizing how truly helpless she was in his grip.

She was his toy. His whore. His eternal victim till the end of creation.

The god smirked as he lewdly gazed at her body. "Such beautiful skin, midnight black hair, and a… motherly figure you have, little one. You truly ARE a treasure, Zahra…" Set licked his chops. "…And I will enjoy you in YOUR ENTIRETY."

His free hand grabbed the back of her head and forced Zahra's head to the side as Set kissed her neck and allowed his serpentine tongue to slither across her body. Set then stabbed his battle scepter into the crimson sand, freeing up his other hand, which snuck between her legs and rubbed her privates, hoping to break her body with forced pleasure. The woman's struggles reignited like an inferno as she was filled with disgust as the god made her body his plaything. Set's grip on her head tightened, forcing Zahra to stop lest her head popped like a grape in his hand. The army of Anubis behind them jeered and laughed at the sacrilege that Zahra suffered, while the Medjai army and the guardians, having finally come back to their senses, were filled with an unstoppable rage at how the god of chaos dared use the most noble and selfless woman in Egypt's history as his plaything.

A few of the braver Medjai could bear it no longer and charged the god. "RELEASE THE PROTECTOR, YOU ABOMINATION!"

Set did not even look at them as they charged at him with their swords raised. The god simply took his hand from Zahra's sacred area and thrust his palm at them, and a monstrous red lightning bolt erupted from it toward the Medjai. They did not even have a chance to scream as the bolt struck them, disintegrating them into ash and smoking remnants of flesh. Zahra's eyes widened in horror as she watched Set cut down the noble Medjai, and he wasn't even paying attention to them. He simply swatted them aside like flies that were not worth his time.

Set pulled away from his slathering of her flesh and warned her. "Any interlopers that dare disturb me while I entertain myself with you shall meet a similar fate as those insects, dear Zarha. In fact…" Set raised his hand, his nails extending into wicked talons. "I believe you shall also be punished for inspiring such pointless loyalty. You bring flies to my banquet that is your body, and I will not let you think that you can escape my wrath, even for a moment!"

Zahra screamed and closed her eyes as she felt Set to bring down his talon.

But it never hit her. She opened her eyes, tears still falling as she saw Imhotep had pulled himself out of the pit from where Set had punted him earlier and had grabbed the god's wrist before he could strike her. His face was a mask of unrestrained hatred, the mummy barely able to maintain his composure before smashing his fist into Set's snout with such force that the god was sent flying through the air, releasing Zahra. She let out a small shriek as she felt the iron grip restraining her cease and fell into Imhotep's arms in a bridal carry. He held her tightly to him, Zahra took a moment to process that he'd saved her before bursting into tears and clinging to her love like a lifeline, her body trembling as she let loose her sobbing.

Ardeth and some of the other Medjai rushed up to Zahra, pulling out spare Medjai ropes for her to wear and handing them to Imhotep as they took defensive positions around her like their ancestral royal bodyguards to the pharaoh.

Imhotep aided Zahra in getting dressed, the poor woman still shaken by the wretched experience of being in the God of Chaos's "embrace," if it could even be called that. "It is all right now, Zahra, that ABOMINATION of our land will never defile you again." He said as he spoke to her as if they had been long time lovers.

Speaking of him, Set roared with pain and indignant fury as he flew through the air from Imhotep's furious blow, crashing atop some of his Anubian warriors, destroying them as they vanished in puffs of black sand. A few moments of silence passed before an unearthly roar boomed across the battlefield like an explosion of force, forcing the mortals present to cover their ears lest their eardrums burst. When the roaring ceased, Set charged forward, plowing through his troops and reducing them to black sand as he trampled them, uncaring if they got in his way.

To say that the God of Chaos was angry would be the understatement of the century. "YOU FOUL, UNDEAD BLASPHEMER! YOU DARE TO STRIKE ME AND TAKE MY PRIZE?! I WILL MAKE YOU WISH THAT YOU CEASE EXISTING ALTOGETHER WHEN I AM FINISHED WITH YOU!"

Imhotep passed the still-trembling Zarha to Ardeth, his face holding a glare that seemed set in stone. "Take her. Get back to our brothers and regroup for a counterattack." Before the mummy turned to face the approaching god. "Set is MINE."

But Zahra begged him. "No, Imhotep, you can't beat him. Even with the powers of the Hom-Dai, he is a god! Please, do not do it. Do not throw away your 2nd chance at life."

But Imhotep placed a hand on her cheek and spoke softly to her. "I have done nothing but bring pain and suffering upon this world, Zahra. I threw my life away when I fell for that viper's manipulation and lies for blind love, when I should have been smart enough to see that the person I should have loved…was right in front of me the entire time. I must do this. I must…right my wrongdoings this day."

Zahra understood that her love wanted to make amends for his sins on their homeland and the entire world, both past and present, but facing a god, even with the powers of the Hom-Dai, was suicide, especially without immortality and invincibility. "Imhotep…I lost you once, and I do not want to lose you again."

But Imhotep assured her. "Even if I fail, know this forever: my heart will always belong to you, my dear Zahra." Before kissing her on the forehead and began to advance on Set.

"Imhotep. Imhotep. Imhotep! No! Do not do this!" Zahra cried before Ardeth and his men carried her away.

Ardeth did not have time to question Imhotep's words about the Medjai and simply rushed back to his brothers-in-arms and took an oath with the trembling, sobbing woman in his arms.

Imhotep rushed over to the O'Connells, helping Rick to his feet as Evy grabbed Alex and ran for the blimp with Jonathan. Imhotep motioned for the man to follow his family but took something from his belt, which Rick didn't notice as he bolted after them. "Forgive me, my brother… but this is MY battle alone."

Imhotep raised the Spear of Osiris to the sky, the spear quickly extending to its full size, its golden surface reflecting the flashes of lightning in the sky as the storm above finally blotted out the sun. Set grabbed his battle scepter from the sand while rushing past it and unsheathed his khopesh blade as he roared and lunged for the mummy while Imhotep leaped into the air to meet his opponent. Set's weapons clashed against Imhotep's spear as they flew past each other and landed back on the earth, with both combatants twisting around to face each other. Imhotep charged back with Osiris's spear at blinding speeds, using every ounce of his enhanced Hom-Dai physical prowess to kill the god, aiming for Set's heart. Just as Imhotep was about to land the blow, Set blocked the spear with his two weapons in an X block before kicking the mummy in the chest. Imhotep was sent flying through the air but transformed into a sandstorm and rushed back at Set, changing back and smashing his knee into the god's forehead. Set tumbled backward across the sand but landed back on his feet, his eyes full of hate as he glared at the mummy and rushed him again with a roar.

The army of Anubis took that roar as the signal to charge with their master, and the great horde of death followed their master to war. The Medjai were caught off guard by the sudden advance as the Anubian warriors charged and broke their lines. Set and Imhotep continued their battle amidst the war raging around them. Imhotep kept swinging and thrusting the spear of Osiris like an expert spearman while Set swung his battle scepter and khopesh in deadly arcs of pure destruction, not caring if he sliced up his troops or any Medjai that got in the way of their duel. Imhotep had to use every last bit of his skills in combat to dodge and block Set's attacks, the force they generated enough to turn the crimson sand beneath them to glass whenever Set missed his target and instead struck the ground while red lightning sparked whenever Imhotep clashed against the god with the spear.

As Ardeth looked at his Medjai brothers fighting for their lives, he spoke from his heart to spark their courage and resolve. "My Noble and brave Medjai brothers! Long ago, our forefathers proudly served the Pharaoh to protect the land of Egypt at its peak. Today, we honor them by fighting to defend all that is good. But in their wisdom, the gods gave us allies: the O'Connell family, Rick O'Connell, a lost son of our people, and his wife Evelyn, the reincarnation of Nefertiri herself! But they also gave us a protector who sacrificed everything so that the future could be peaceful for all mankind. That person is Zahra, Protector of Pharaoh Nefertiri, and in her sacrifice, she succeeded in stopping Imhotep and redeemed him in the process. Zahra has given everything for us. Today, we will repay that great debt by fighting beside her... and Imhotep...our restored brother!"

The surrounding Medjai roared as they fought with renewed purpose and drive. The Anubian troops were caught off guard by the explosion of determination from their mortal foes as they were cut down faster than they could strike back.

Back with Imhotep's battle with the god of evil, as Set swung his khopesh in a blindside attack, nearly taking off Imhotep's head but leaving an extended bloody cut across his forehead, the mummy saw an opening and tried to thrust his spear into the god's eye socket. But Set anticipated this, and with a swipe of his battle scepter's hooked jackal head, he yanked Imhotep off his feet and onto his back in the sand.

Just as Set was about to thrust the sharpened stake end of the scepter toward his fallen foe and skewer him, something fast and sharp hit the god in the back of his head, knocking him off Imhotep but not off his feet. Confused, the god quickly felt the back of his head and removed the bullet from his skull, as it had flattened upon impacting his body instead of piercing through. Set turned toward where the shot came from and received a shotgun blast to his face, knocking his back but otherwise unfazed him. The god slowly lowered his head down to face the mortal that shot him, the bullets from the shotgun blast falling from his face like specks of gravel.

Rick stood his ground and glared at the god as he cocked the shotgun in his hands. "Get away from my friend, you oversized mutt."

Set glared harshly at the man, but before raising his khopesh, the god felt something sharp hit his head again. He quickly whipped his head around, spotting Evy holding a rifle, standing on the downed blimp as she reloaded.

Set scoffed in annoyance. "Why do you mortals insist on being such insolent pests? It amounts to NOTHING!"

The god leaped across the battlefield toward the blimp. Rick was in a panic as she watched the god cross the landscape like a simple walk in the park and was closing in on his wife. Before he could run after him and fight through the chaos, Imhotep got back up and grabbed Rick's shoulder, transforming back into his sandstorm form and rushing after Set.

Back at the Blimp

Evy was firing shot after shot as she quickly kept reloading and firing her rifle, the shots merely annoying Set as they did not even pierce his skin. Jonathan and Alex struggled to help Amir, Taysir, and Izzy escape the mess of netting that had entangled them in the crash, and the god of evil was getting closer.

"Hurry up, Jonathan! Tall, dark, and scary is getting closer!" Evy commanded her brother with increasing panic as Set leaped across the battlefield, unfazed by her bullets.

"I've almost got it, Evy! Just a few more seconds…" Jonathan answered, nearly having the netting released to free his friends.

Izzy, Amir, and Taysir were panicking and trying their hardest not to fall into full-blown hysteria, as their struggles would undo Jonathan's work to free them.

Amir looked to Alex, pleading with his very soul. "Little guide, you must flee with Lady Zahra! Set is coming, and he will kill you!"

Alex, who had been frozen stiff upon seeing the god of evil begin his approach, was hyperventilating as he watched Set get closer and closer, leaping around the battlefield as if it were a playground. As the cultist's words registered with the little boy, Set finally arrived, leaping above them and raising his weapons to the sky. Bolts of red lightning struck his khopesh and scepter as he raised them to the sky while he flew through the air, both weapons now highly charged with the deadly electricity.

The god of evil laughed as he was about to snuff out more mortal life. "Perish now, maggots! Tell my brother in the afterlife that the ONLY god that shall be worshiped from this day forever shall be ME!"

Set landed right in front of Alex, the boy knocked off his feet by the shaking of the impact. Alex screamed as Set raised his weapons and brought them down upon him, his mother crying out his name, his uncle rushing over with no regard for self-preservation but would not make it in time, Izzy and the cultists now thrashing to escape the netting and save the boy. Alex squeezed his eyes shut as he waited for his death, unable to move out of sheer terror.

But a metallic clang echoed throughout the air instead of blood being sliced.

Alex opened his eyes, seeing that Imhotep and Rick were holding back Set's attack with the spear of Osiris, both holding it up to block the god's deathblow as red lightning danced and crackled from the clashing weapons. It was apparent that Imhotep was doing most of the work in holding back Set, but Rick could use the deadlock opportunity to grab Set's arm and swing his feet into the god's face, slamming his face with his heels. Set grunted in pain as he staggered backward, wiping his snout with the back of his hand.

"I stand corrected. You mortals ARE worthy of a warrior's death. My apologies…" Set lifted his scepter and khopesh, lining up the sword's hilt with the stake end of the scepter, before pulling them together as the stake slid perfectly into the hilt of the khopesh, turning his two weapons into a single battle staff. One end still had the jackal head-shaped hook, while the other now sported the khopesh blade.

Set grinned maniacally as he twirled his new staff around in his hands like an expert poleman before raising it over his head in a stance prepared for battle. "I will NOT underestimate your resolve again."

Imhotep's eyes widened in shock, not expecting the god of evil to be so well practiced in many fighting styles. Set did not give the mummy a chance to respond as he rushed forward, smashing the hook end of his staff against Imhotep's grip on the spear of Osiris, sending the mummy skidding across the sand and knocking away Rick towards his family, but Imhotep managed to maintain his balance. He then responded by thrusting the spear in a multitude of deadly strikes, hoping to get at least a single hit, but Set twirled his battle staff like an airplane propeller to block them all. Set then clashed the khopesh end of the staff against Imhotep's spear, knocking it out of his grip and sailing across the horizon…

Back with Zahra

Right where the Medjai and Ardeth were defending the still-shaken Zahra. The Medjai had carried Zahra a reasonable distance away from the god of evil but were hindered by the army of Anubis, Ardeth leading the charge with the four guardians of Hamunaptra to carve a path to safety. Upon the spear's impact into the ground next to her, Zahra immediately whipped her head towards where it came from, noticing the towering form of the god of evil standing over her friends and beloved. She panicked, conflicting feelings of fear and hate raging within her as she wanted to save them, but her recent experience with Set had shaken her to her core. She'd never been so helpless in the grip of anyone, even before she joined Imhotep in the Hom-Dai, and she certainly didn't want to expose herself before Set ever again.

As this storm continued to whirl within her, she watched Set swing his battle staff around, cutting up Imhotep as he used himself as a shield to protect the O'Connells from his onslaught. She could hear his screams of pain from across the warzone, and that was enough to get her to make up her mind.

Zahra chose to listen to the hate in her heart and reached for the Spear of Osiris.

Back with the duel with Set

Set was entertained by the mummy's sense of bravery to protect his mortal friends. Such misplaced valor made killing his foes all the more enjoyable. The first slice from the khopesh left a vertical cut on Imhotep's torso. Had that slicing strike been any deeper, it would have spilled out his innards onto the sand. The next swing of Set's blade nearly took off Imhotep's left foot, the bleeding scar now burning as red flames erupted from the wound, causing the mummy to scream as he nearly fell to his knees. Set then swung the hook side of the staff at Imhotep's head, making a loud crack as the obsidian-carved jackal head of the hook smashed into the mummy's skull, sending him reeling across the battlefield and inadvertently crashing through more Anubian warriors and destroying them.

Imhotep did not get back up, his groans of pain the only indication that he was still alive.

Set marched casually across the crimson sand, his Anubian warriors still slaughtering the Medjai who fought for their lives. A few braver Medjai tried to attack Set as he advanced on Imhotep, only to be cleaved apart with a single swing of Set's staff blade or reduced to ashes with a blast of lightning. Once standing over Imhotep, Set stomped his foot down on Imhotep's chest, the man groaning with pain as the increasing pressure caused the glassed sand beneath him to crack and shatter. Imhotep gasped for air, but his lungs refused to fill as the god's foot slowly crushed him like an insect underfoot.

Set chuckled and raised his staff, aiming the khopesh blade for the heart. "This was always going to be the outcome, Imhotep. Me, on the cusp of my greatest victory with the greatest army in this world and the next; You, underfoot and defeated as I take your precious Zahra as my slave to punish her defiance for eternity."

Set raised the staff, preparing to strike. "Farewell, little mummy. When you resume your eternal damnation and see my brother again, tell him this world is MINE, just as Zahra is mi- UGH!."

A sudden blast of sand in the shape of a fist threw Set from his perch upon Imhotep, sending the god crashing into more of his troops and destroying them. Imhotep slowly sat upright to see Zahra standing before him, garbed in Medjai robes that seemed a bit big for her as they almost blew in the wind of the raging storm above. Her left hand was glowing, concentrating her powers of the Hom-Dai to control the sand, while in her right hand was the Spear of Osiris, the weapon now poised to draw the blood of a god. Her face was a mask of pure hatred as she glared at the god with such animosity that Zahra looked like a demon herself.

Set quickly stood up, now furious that his perfect ending had been ruined. "HOW DARE YOU, OF ALL PEOPLE, STRIKE ME, ZAHRA! I WILL SEE YOU BROKEN IN BODY AND SPIRIT FOR THIS!"

Zahra said nothing but maintained her glare at Set. Feeling lucky, one of the Anubian warriors tried to strike Zahra with its ax, only for said weapon to disintegrate upon touching her. The warrior looked confused and looked around on the ground, thinking he'd somehow dropped his weapon in the sand. Before he could look up, Zahra's hand was a blur of movement as she grabbed the warrior's throat. The now panicking warrior struggled and gripped Zahra's arm to try and get her to drop him but to no avail.

Zahra looked to the storming sky, raising the spear's head to the heavens, and yelled to the gods to hear her proclamation. "O GODS OF EGYPT, HEAR ME! I AM ZAHRA, PROTECTOR OF PHARAOH NEFERTITI AND REDEEMER OF MY LOVE, IMHOTEP! YOUR FALLEN BROTHER, SET, DARES TO WALK THIS MORTAL PLANE FOR CONQUEST AND USES HIS SON'S NOBLE ARMY, TWISTED TO HIS DARK DESIRES! GRANT ME THE STRENGTH TO BANISH THIS ENEMY OF EGYPT BACK TO THE DEEPEST DEPTHS OF THE DUAT!"

With her declaration, a bolt of lightning, a bright white color instead of the putrid red that Set had been conjuring, came hurtling down from the sky and struck the raised spear. The lightning traveled across her body, but no burns of the heat disfigured her, nor did she seem to be in pain. Zahra was untouched by it, and Set quickly put it together that his fellow Gods of Egypt had empowered the woman with their blessings. The Anubian warrior, still held by the throat, shrieked in agony as the white lightning that empowered Zahra also danced across its form, disintegrating it until only its blacked skeleton remained, which Zahra crushed to powder in her fist.

Set growled and raised his battle staff, pointing the khopesh blade toward his next victim. "You think that the gifts of my fellow deities will give you the strength to conquer me? Hah! You have better chances of having an affair with my nephew than that!" Set then pointed his blade at Zahra, barking commands at the Anbian warriors. "This whore is not worth my time in combat. Deal with her, my warriors! Pin her down so I may finally discipline her properly!"

After that order, about 20 Anubian warriors advanced on Zahra, only for her to rush to them at superhuman speed as she began to punch 3 of the warriors heads right off, turning them to dust before she conjured a golden sword and moved so fast across the area the warriors had no time to defend themselves despite trying to fight back by slashing and stabbing at her. Zahra picked 1 of them up by the arm and with an impressive display of strength, threw it to another warrior, making them both turn to dust when they collided before she dropped its arm before it turned to dust as well. After slicing off another warrior's head, she picked another up by its leg and smashed it to the ground with great strength that it turned to dust upon contact with the sand. Zahra then conjured up a lightning ball and threw it in the air and then picked another warrior up by the leg and threw it at it, frying it to dust before she used her power to make lightning bolts come down, killing the remaining Anubian warriors.

Set's eyes widened at the sudden increase of Zahra's strength. His fellow gods had never given such strength to any of their previous champions, but now Zahra was throwing around Anubian warriors like children's toys. The god of evil felt an overwhelming tsunami of fury building within himself, glaring at Zahra as he assessed how to deal with her now that she was a legitimate threat to him. Zahra glared back and began circling the god, and the spear pointed at him as if she was on the hunt and Set was an animal she was stalking. The god lifted his battle staff and held it in front of him defensively, prepared to block whatever strike Zahra would throw at him.

"You only have this power because of the Gods of Egypt, Zahra. Otherwise, you'd only receive my full attention when pinned to my bedside. And we BOTH know for a fact that their blessings do not last forever." The god of evil licked his chops at the thought of having Zahra entirely at his mercy. "You will eventually lose your gifts and once again return to your rightful place: beneath ME as I steal your purity of body and spirit."

Zahra shuttered at the thought but held her ground and responded to Set's disgusting threat with her resolve with a snarl. "Then let us dispense with the pleasantries, if any at all, and see what the will of the gods has in store for us both, you disgusting beast."

Set's glare intensified tenfold at Zahra's insult as the two finally stopped circling and faced each other, glaring into each other's eyes. They simply held their ground as the war around them continued to rage.

A moment later

Then, the mummy and the god classed as red lightning sparked each time their weapons traded strikes. Both of them expertly swung and stabbed with their weapons in a deadly dance that almost reminded Zahra of when she watched Nefertiri's duel with Anck-Su-Namun 3,000 years ago, but their weapons were far different, and the stakes were much higher. Zahra used the Spear of Osiris with the mastery of a true spearman, causing the first real wounds on Set as gashes from the divine weapon sliced his metallic-like skin. As the god's golden blood slowly seeped from them, Set retaliated with his own impressive display of attacks, whirling and twirling around his battle staff like twin arcs of death. Each blow blocked and deflected gave the sound of metallic thunder that boomed across the battlefield as Zahra and Set kept trading blows and inflicting injuries, but nothing of devastating proportion yet. Set attempted a few times to use the jackal-shaped hook of his staff to knock Zahra off her feet, but she expertly deflected each attempt, angering Set as he fought more recklessly, not caring about what happened to those who came too close to their duel. As they fought like nothing else mattered around them, Anubian warriors and Medjai alike were cut down by their blades amidst the chaos of their battle. Set was oblivious to the lives he was taking from either side, while Zahra could hear the screams of the slain Medjai that she could do nothing to save echoing in her head.

As set was about to skewer Zahra with the khopesh blade of his staff, Zahra quickly used the Medjai symbol at the end of the spear of Osiris to catch the blade before spinning it around and pinning it to the ground, burying the blade in the sand. Before Zahra could counter-attack, Set used the opportunity to use his staff as a balance, leaped up, and kicked Zarha with such strength she was sent hurtling across the warzone like a comet. She crashed beside Izzy's blimp, the O'Connells using their guns and firearms to blow the heads off of the Anubian warriors. Other Medjai who had been carrying firearms followed their lead and used their guns to blow holes through the skulls of the warriors, and they kept dropping like flies as they thoughtlessly ran to their deaths. Set grinned as Rick and Evy stopped shooting and ran to Zahra's aid, leaving them wide open as he stabbed the khopesh blade into the crimson sand, instantly turning a large chunk of it into glass, and hurled it at them. Zahra didn't have a chance to warm them as the glass meteor crashed upon them. Rick used himself to shield Evy from the impact, and Zahra tumbled away in an ungraceful mess. She was quick to get up and noticed Rick's back was bleeding profusely with hundreds of tiny cuts and gashed from the glass projectile. Evy did her best not to lose her mind as she saw Rick in pain. Alex hid with Jonathan in the Blimp but could see what was happening, and the boy huddled closer to his uncle while the man in question kept his head on a swivel to ensure there were no surprise attacks.

Zahra roared and glared at the god. "LEAVE THEM OUT OF THIS, SET! YOUR FIGHT IS WITH ME!"

Set laughed as he lunged at Zahra, the spear and battle staff clashing again with a spark of red lightning erupting from the point of impact. "All those you call family will also suffer, Zahra! Do not be so naive that they would be spared my fury for calling you friend!"

Set then charged forward, still clashing with Zahra. She was pushed back without resistance, and her feet skidded across the crimson sand until her back impacted a dune. The impact created a large cloud of red that blanketed the immediate area. Set pushed harder against Zahra's block, pressing her deeper into the dune that was now starting to crackle with his power as more lightning danced across its surface, shocking Zahra. She refused to scream as she held firm and growled with pain as Set's power continued to shock her body.

"YIELD TO ME, ZAHRA! YIELD AND SUBMIT TO MY WILL!" Set roared, continuing to press Zahra into the ground.

Zahra simply screamed a battle cry and whirled the spear around her, pulling Set closer, knocking off his balance, and throwing him off her as she used his size against him. The god of chaos tumbled across the sand but rolled to his feet before charging again. Zahra had no time to roll out of the way and used the spear to block the attack, her whole body now skidding across the sand as Set kept charging. Zahra stabbed the spearhead of her weapon into the sand, grinding to a halt as it gave her more resistance against the god's advancement. When she finally came to an abrupt halt, Zahra whirled around the spear of Osiris and thrust it into Set's gut. The blow landed perfectly as Set howled with agony and was launched back, skidding to a stop as he fell to one knee and clutched the new wound. Removing his hand to assess the damage, Set saw he was now bleeding profusely from the stab wound, his golden blood decorating the sand in a gory display. He growled with uncontainable hate and glared at Zahra, but just as quickly he calmed and smirked.

"You are a fool if you think a papyrus cut like this will slow me, Zahra." Set pointed two fingers at the wound, and a burst of red lightning erupted from his fingers and danced all over it, healing Set and eliminating the evidence he'd ever been hurt.

Zahra's jaw dropped, and she silently stared at where she landed an actual blow against Set before erupting into a fury. "DISHONORABLE DOG! Healing yourself amid battle simply because you fear death?! How dare you call yourself a wari-URK!"

Set was a blur of movement and upon Zahra in a fraction of a second, now choking her and forcing her to drop the spear of Osiris in the sand as she clawed at the arm that gripped her throat. Set HATED being called a coward. "I. FEAR. NOTHING, ZAHRA! LEAST OF ALL, A BROKEN WOMAN WHO THINKS HERSELF A CHAMPION WHEN YOU'RE NOTHING MORE THAN A BEAUTIFUL NUISANCE THAT MUST BE BROKEN IN!"

Set then smashed Zahra's back into the ground as he placed his weapon down and grabbed her garbs. Zahra immediately panicked as she knew what Set was about to do again.

"THIS TIME, WE WILL NOT SUFFER ANY INTERRUPTIONS, LITTLE ZAHRA. OH, I WILL RELISH THE TASTE OF YOUR FLOWER, MY PRIZE!" Set's hunger for Zahra was starting to show, his thrilled expression sending her into a greater frenzy of fear as she struggled harder but to no avail.

"No, no no no no! Not again! IMHOTEP! IMHOTEP HELP ME!" Zahra screamed as Set's free hand slipped into her robes and found purchase on her breasts, caressing them perversely as the god's grip on her throat tightened to silence her cries.

Set let the hand gripping her throat slip up her neck and latch onto her face, forcing Zahra to look him dead in the eyes. "Let us start with your first kiss, Zahra. I cannot wait to drink your tears as I forever rob you of ever giving it to that little priest!"

As the god brought her lips closer to his own, Zahra screamed one last time. "IIIIMMMMHHHOOOOTTEEEEEEEEEEPP!"

Back with Imhotep

The mummy had gotten over his shock at Zarha's display of power earlier and joined with his Medjai brothers and the guardian of Hamunaptra in battle. Imhotep's powers saw to the deaths of hundreds of the Anubian warriors as he effortlessly destroyed them with the mastery of his Hom-Dai powers: living walls of sand flattened them, swarms of flies reduced them to bones, the rain of fire from the sky obliterating dozens of them every second, and Imhotep's telekinetic powers threw whole battalions of soldiers around like toys.

But then he heard Zarha scream for him. "IIIIMMMMHHHOOOOTTEEEEEEEEEEPP!"

He whipped his head around, as did the guardians and Ardeth, toward the direction of the sound as he saw the travesty that made his blood run cold. Set, having pinned Zahra to the ground, was about to rape her as he was tearing at her clothes and forcing her to give him her first kiss.

Imhotep's rage surpassed all possible descriptions by that point. It started as a small dot of fury in the tremendous blank expanse that was his horror, seeing his love be defiled and that he wasn't there to protect her. That dot quickly grew into a raging inferno that threatened to burst out of him with raw fury and power as his Hom-Dai abilities responded to Imhotep's growing hate. It twisted every single nerve and thought, his soul close to outright ripping itself free from his flesh, and every ounce of his self-control was set ablaze in his wrath.

Still attached to his waist was the sword hilt given to him by Anubis, and it reacted to his fury. Imhotep instinctively reached for it, almost as if in a trance of rage, as he drew the hilt from his belt. The hilt began to glow white and grow longer and larger until it was befitting a two-handed great sword. The white light became far more solid, becoming a beautifully decorated blade nearly as tall as Imhotep himself. Yet the mummy was still too far consumed by his hate to notice what he was holding. All he knew was that it was a weapon he could use.

Imhotep let himself be lost to the ferocity of his rage and charged at the god with a roar that shook the earth's foundations. "RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Interrupted yet again before he could claim the kiss, Set quickly turned in annoyance and confusion at what could taint the air with such hatred aside from himself. The torpedoing mummy caught the god entirely off guard as the gigantic white blade plunged into Set's shoulder, the god now screaming in agony as he was thrown from Zahra. Zahra herself was utterly stunned that Imhotep could hear her cries from anywhere on the battlefield as her heart fluttered with joy at her rescuing of her purity. She was even more shocked to see him wielding the most legendary weapon ever bestowed to mortals by the Gods of Egypt.

The Sword of Osiris. Osiris used that blade to fight alongside Ra during the first days of creation before he became Pharaoh of the gods to push back Apophis, the primordial night serpent of chaos. After becoming King of the Afterlife, Osiris would allow noble mortals to wield the blade to combat the machinations of chaos whenever they reared their heads in the mortal world. Zahra recalled Anubis giving Imhotep a hilt back at the Scorpion King's pyramid and realized that the God of the Dead had bestowed the sword to her love without them realizing it.

Imhotep drove the sword deeper into Set's shoulder, the blade piercing through the god's shoulder blade from his back. Set roared and screamed in agony as he felt his brother's weapon burn his flesh and sear his very spirit. With a thrust of his hand, Set hit Imhotep with a palm strike to get him off him. The mummy refused to release his grip on the sword, resulting in it being yanked free from Set's shoulder when the force of the blow threw back Imhotep. With his free hand, Set willed his battle staff to return to him, flying through the air until it abruptly stopped when Set caught it.

Set growled in pure rage as this wasn't the 1st time he'd been hurt by his brother's power, ancient blade. And he could only guess that it was his own son that gave it to Imhotep as revenge for what happened 5,000 years ago. "Anubis, YOU DARE DEFY YOUR OWN FATHER BY BESTOWING YOUR OSIRIS'S BLADE TO THIS…BLASPHEMOUS FOOL?! I WILL SEE YOU SUFFER FOR THIS TRANSGRESSION! I WILL HAVE YOUR PRECIOUS TROOPS STRIKE YOU DOWN, DRAG YOU BEFORE ME, AND FLAY YOU ALIVE!"

After recovering from Set's retaliative blow, Imhotep got back to his feet and shouted out while still holding the sword: "TOUCH HER AGAIN AND NOT EVEN AMUN-RA HIMSELF WILL BE ABLE TO PROTECT YOUR WORTHLESS HIDE FROM ME, SET!"

The god's jaw dropped at Imhotep's threat, utterly stunned by the mummy's audacity to threaten him before an unbridled fury consumed his senses and hazed his reasoning. "YOU DARE THREATEN ME?! ME!? THE GOD OF CHAOS AND STORMS?! AMUN-RA'S LOYAL LIEUTENANT?! IMHOTEP, YOU HAVE DISRESPECTED ME FOR THE LAST TIME! PERISH NOW, KNOWING THAT YOUR PRECIOUS ZAHRA WILL SCREAM FOREVER AT YOUR LOSS AND HOWL AT MY BECK AND CALL!"

The redeemed mummy and the God of Chaos rushed to each other and jumped in the air. Set swung his battle staff downwards with the hook's head facing flat to Imhotep, intending to crush him like a bug. At the last moment, Imhotep maneuvered his body mid-air to avoid the attack and threw his fist into the god's sternum. The blow sent his enemy flying down to the ground. Set skidded across the sand like a bulldozer plowing through the snow, and hundreds of Anubian warriors vanished into sand and dust as Set plowed them down. Eventually crashing to a stop against a dune, Set staggered in disbelief that Imhotep could do something like that, concluding his brother's blade must have enhanced his combat prowess.

"I'LL TEAR OUT YOUR ROTTED HEART FOR THAT, PRIEST!" Set roared, flipped to his feet, and rushed to Imhotep again.

Imhotep quickly slid forward, flipping his body toward the god's face, bringing Set down with a knee to his snout, and tried stabbing the downed god with the sword. But Set rolled away to avoid the strike and returned to his feet before the two combatants began blocking, parrying, and deflecting each other's strikes in a furious flurry of divine might, chaotic energy, and clashing metal. Imhotep's strikes were ferocious and full of his hatred for the evil god, forcing Set to struggle to keep the battle even between them as he was nearly knocked from his feet a few times for blocking Imhotep's sword swings.

Seizing the opportunity, Zahra retrieved the spear of Osiris and joined the battle, standing at Imhotep's side as she attacked wherever Imhotep made an opening in the god's defenses. Their teamwork put multiple scratches and cuts all over him, but Set still kept fighting with his rage to fuel his onslaught. Zahra was as elegant as a grasshopper, leaping to and fro around Set to strike his blind spots, which the god barely had time to block, while Imhotep was an immovable juggernaut that forced Set to keep his attention on him and away from Zahra. Each time Set attempted to get in a hit on either of them, once he'd made an opening of attack, the other would block his strike and force him back. Set made several attempts to leap away and acquire breathing room and counter-attack. Still, Zahra and Imhotep refused to give him the time to do so and stayed on him, keeping the god on the defensive and preventing him from retaliating.

However, one critical factor worked against the two mummies. The longer they fought with the god of evil, the easier it became for Set to fight back as he studied their movements. Soon, the battle went from being in Imhotep and Zahra's favor to barely evenly matched as Set began pressing for the attack. His expert maneuvering, blocking, and slashing with his battle staff started to overwhelm the two mummies, even with their divine weapons. Set's lunging strikes with the flat side of the hook proved to be an effective bludgeon, striking Zahra's gut and blowing the wind out of her while knocking her to the floor, trying to catch her lost breath. Imhotep quickly put himself between her and the god as he blocked a killing blow from Set intended for Zahra.

Set growled as he pushed Imhotep back, and Zahra quickly flipped back to her feet with the spear in her hand. "Insolent Whelps! You waste my time with this pointless exercise! I cannot be stopped! I WILL TAKE THE PURITY OF YOUR BODY, ZAHRA! YOU! ARE! MINE!"

Set was furious that these puny mortals, undead or not, had put him, the god of chaos, on the defensive in the first place! It was maddening to think that such lowly creatures were given the power to challenge him, especially from Osiris. That rage drove the god of evil to keep pushing and attempting to skewer and bisect the wretched mummy who was making him look like a fool and pin down that woman who continued to defy his will. Imhotep fought harder and more wildly after Set's threat to rape Zahra, while she was a bit shaken that the god of evil was so obsessed with having her but couldn't understand why.

All Zahra knew was that Set was dead set on having her as a concubine to abuse at his leisure, and it frightened her that he held such a grudge for interfering with his plans to use Imhotep as his pawn to release him upon the world.

"HOLD STILL, WORMS! FACE YOUR DEATHS LIKE THE MAGGOTS THAT YOU ARE!" Set roared as his increasing frustration at being unable to deal a lethal blow to Imhotep made him fight recklessly yet again, cutting down his troops in a blind fury.

Imhotep said nothing but glared back at the god, and with a mighty swing of his sword, he disarmed Set and knocked his battle staff away, where it skidded away from Set and tumbled to a stop in the crimson sand. The sand around the fallen staff blackened to a solid obsidian color as if tainted even more by the cursed weapon of the god of evil. Set's jaw dropped in shock, and he could not process that Imhotep had disarmed him. The god gazed at his fallen weapon in disbelief, as if it were the most impossible thing in the world, then slowly returned to Imhotep and Zahra. Zahra herself was also quite surprised that her love had disarmed the god of evil, thinking that it was a miracle given to them by the other gods of Egypt.

The mummy smirked in triumph before speaking. "The only maggot here is YOU, mutt. Go back to your little dog hut and chew on some bones."

It took a moment for Imhotep's insult to register for Set, but Set's reaction was immediate when it did. He roared so loudly that Imhotep and Zahra nearly dropped their divine weapons as they covered their ears to keep them from bleeding as their eardrums almost ruptured. As they were still reeling from the ear-splitting roar, Set grabbed both mummies in his left hand, holding them tightly like an angered child would strangle their toys. With his right hand, he willed his battle staff to fly back to him. The god's now blazing red eyes illuminated the surrounding area like blood-red fog lights as he made his new promise of suffering.

"IMHOTEP, I WILL SPLIT YOU OPEN FROM YOUR BELLY TO YOUR BRAIN AND FEED YOU YOUR INTESTINES BEFORE I TEAR OUT YOUR SPINE AND MAKE IT ZAHRA'S SLAVE COLLAR!" Set then focused his blazing eyes upon Zahra. "ZAHRA, I'LL MAKE YOU SCREAM MY NAME FOR MERCY AND NEVER GIVE IT TO YOU AS I RAPE YOU OVER AND OVER UNTIL I SPLIT YOU IN TWO, ONLY TO RESTORE YOU FROM THE BRINK SO I CAN DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN FOR ETERNITY!"

Set then looked to the storm above, raising the blade of his staff to the sky, and roared. By his command, a red lightning bolt fell down to the earth, striking the blade of Set's staff and wrapping around it like a rope. With a slam of his staff, Set and his two restrained foes were swept into the raging tempest. As Set's form became that of red lightning and sand while empowered by the storm, Zahra and Imhotep roared in defiance of the god as they blocked each other's weapons and continued their duel in the sky, lightning flashing constantly whenever their weapons made contact with thunder booming across the heavens. The only thing louder than the thunder was the roaring of the three combatants, Imhotep and Zahra, still bellowing out their battle cries as they continued to combat the god of chaos with everything they could muster as he roared with the storm.

As the duel between the god and the ancient lovers continued, the war between man and Anubian was an utter mess. Anubian warriors fought like their lives had no meaning and held no self-preservation, storming the Medjai and the Guardians, who fought tooth and nail to hold their ground. Ardeth stood firm with his brothers and fought like this was his last day alive, while the Guardians resorted to using themselves as shields to protect the Medjai as they battled, taking heavy damage as they did everything in their power to keep the Medjai alive while fighting at the same time. During the chaos, Amir and Taysir finally set themselves and Izzy free from the netting. They gathered the O'Connells to the blimp and helped Izzy get it in working order. Rick was still bleeding from his back due to his shredding injuries, Evy clutching her son close as Alex trembled in fright from the God of Evil's presence, while Jonathan was keeping his head on a swivel and firing his rifle wildly at the army of Anubis.

Another blast of thunder from the sky caught the attention of all the warriors on the battlefield. Anubian and Medjai alike looked to the sky as they witnessed Imhotep and Zahra fighting like war gods against Set through the flashing lightning, their roaring shaking the foundations of the heavens. After a loud clash of steel and thunder, Zahra suddenly screamed, and Imhotep called out to her. Set erupted into insidious laughter as he and the two mummies were sent hurtling back down to the earth, the god pinning Imhotep with the hook of his staff while he held Zahra in his left hand, her Medjai robes half burned away by the lightning. The three then landed on the ground with a thunderous thud that turned the crimson sand to glass, red lightning still cracking from Set's form as he returned to normal and stood tall, holding the struggling Zahra in his hand while keeping Imhotep underfoot like a bug to be crushed. The spear had fallen from her hand and landed on the ground with a silent thud, just within reaching distance of Imhotep, while the mummy held onto his sword but was unable to lift it as he was too focused on the tremendous crushing pressure on his chest.

"And so it ends… just as I envisioned! With Zahra in grasp and my victory a certainty!" Set licked his chops again, done with the games and distractions as he finally got what he desired. "Now Zahra… LET ME TASTE YOUR SACRED LANDS."

Zahra didn't have time to scream as Set lifted her above his head, and he opened his maw, setting her in between his jaws. In the instant Set letting go, he clamped down his maw on her body like a crocodile seizing its prey, her head and limbs hanging awkwardly from the trap. Zahra shrieked as she felt Set's tongue slip through her robes and taste her pussy, the snake-like tongue of the god causing all sorts of unwanted sensations as her body began to betray her to its base desires. Her legs trembled as she clenched tightly to keep from feeling pleasure. She bit her tongue until she tasted blood to stop herself from moaning. Even as she felt the god's tongue unnaturally extend while it kept assaulting her sacred spot, tearing open the front of her robes, and wiggling between her exposed breasts, Zahra held her hatred for Set in a death grip to keep her mind sane as it warred with the forced pleasure.

Set smirked, even with the woman in his mouth. "Even now, you still try to fight? I suppose I must show you how hopeless it truly is for you. Then, at last, you will BREAK."

Despite her iron will, her thrashing and squirming to escape only seemed to excite the god more as he grasped her arms in a single hand and pulled them tightly as if to rip them from her sockets. Zahra grunted in pain, and her concentration was interrupted for but a fraction of a second. That momentary lapse of pain was all Set needed to drag Zahra deeper into the mind-breaking haze that was forced on her as his tongue wrapped around her right breast and flicked her nipple. Zahra could not hold back anymore and let out an unwanted moan, her eyes streaming with tears as her face blushed with shame.

She gritted her teeth and growled through them. "No matter how long you do this, or whatever horrors you have in store… I would rather submit myself to the Hom-Dai alone 1,000 times over than ever be your plaything!"

Set's grin widened. "Then I will take away all those you love and have them join the legion of souls I've damned. All of them reside within me, screaming for salvation that will never come as I thrive on their suffering. Imhotep and those mortals you are so fond of will join them as punishment for refusing me."

Zahra's eyes widened in horror. "NO!! ANYTHING BUT THAT!!! PLEASE, DON'T!!!"

Set pulled Zahra's arms again, this time toward his face, forcing the woman to look him in the eyes. "It is too late. You have already sealed his and the fates of everyone you love. NOW BREAK!!"

Set's tongue extended further, tightly squeezing her right breast as it slithered back down to Zarha's sacred spot and slipped inside, squirming around like a worm in the dirt. That was it. Zahra felt the dam within her resolve break, and she let out a mix of a scream of despair and a wail of pleasure as she cummed onto the god's tongue.

Set lapped up her nectar as his crazed expression became outright nightmarish, his breath as hot as a furnace as steam began to emit from his nostrils. "Nothing less than Isis bathing you herself in her temple of Philae will cleanse you of this shame, Zahra. You are mine, and your fate is sealed. Oh, how I tremble in anticipation for the legacy you will birth for me!"

While this was happening before his eyes, Imhotep thrashed and swung his sword around wildly, hoping to strike Set or at least pull his attention away from Zahra. Set didn't even turn his head to Imhotep as he pressed his foot harder onto the mummy's ribs. Even through the pain, the pinned former priest could feel his ribs beginning to cave in as Set applied more pressure. Imhotep could only focus on Zahra's wailing and sobbing as her tears fell upon his face, inciting him to search for a means to escape and rescue her frantically. It was then Imhotep realized he could no longer hear the clashing of steel or roaring of the Anubian warriors. He turned to see that only the Medjai remained, Ardeth and the guardians leading them as they slowly limbed over to confront Set. They barely had enough to be called an army remaining, most still living Medjai in tatters and badly injured, but still standing. It dawned on Imhotep that Set had been so hyper-focused on capturing Zahra and killing him that the god of evil had unintentionally wiped out his stolen army! Anubis had, at long last, after 5,000 years, reclaimed what was rightfully his.

With this in mind, Imhotep raised a hand to the guardians, signaling them to wait. The four mummies understood it but they loathed to listen as they watched helplessly as Zahra was at Set's mercy. Slowly, Imhotep reached for the fallen Spear of Osiris with his left hand and gripped his sword tightly in his right before he advanced on Set.

As the god of Evil and Chaos was distracted by finally getting to claim Zahra, he failed to realize that Imhotep was sneaking up behind him. "And now, my future spawn maker and eternal slave, you will at last know your place. No matter how hard you fight, try though you may, scrape though you may, you, Zahra, will never escape me! And now, it is time to…"

But as he made his vow, he felt a sharp pain in his midsection that shot right through his spine, making him look down and he saw the Spear of Osiris had pierced him! Slowly, Set turned his head to see who dared to impale him, and to his horror, finally noticed Imhotep had grabbed the fallen spear of his brother. The mummy glared at the god's shocked and horrified expression, Zahra tumbling out of Set's maw as his jaw dropped in shock and released its grip on her body. Zahra tumbled to the ground just as Set took a staggering step backward, freeing Imhotep from underfoot as the god clutched the spear that was impaled into his gut and pierced his spine. Before Zahra could hit the ground, Imhotep lunged and caught her bridal style, the two embracing tightly as they witnessed the god's suffering. Finally, the pain of the blow registered, and Set howled in agony, the storm above reacting to his pain as it wildly danced with lighting that arced across the sky in chaotic displays of light and power.

Set gripped the spear and attempted to rip it free from his abdomen, but it wouldn't budge, and the god showed something that no one had ever seen before: PANIC. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! WHY CAN'T I PULL IT OUT!? I COULD DO SO EASILY BEFORE!" Set turned to the battlefield. "SOLDIERS! DEFEND ME! DEFEND YOUR GOD!"

When nothing happened after his command, Set looked around angrily as to why his troops refused to obey him, and to his shock, there were none to be seen. Just the Medjai and the guardians remained, all glaring at the god as Set realized that the Army of Anubis had fallen. And he was all alone.

Imhotep and Zahra each grabbed the hilt of the Sword of Osiris, looking into each other's eyes, before glaring back at Set and uttering a prayer to Osiris together. "Lord Osiris, you gave us both the chance to have true happiness, gave us hope that we can be free of our chains of the Hom-Dai, and granted us the power to save all that we love from your fallen brother. Please, grant us one last blessing, and let us end this FOREVER!"

With that prayer, the two mummies rushed forward, roaring together one final time.

"RRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The blade pierced through Set's chest like a hot knife through butter, a solid thunk as the blade camel came to a halt at the hilt while it pierced through the back of the god. Set screamed so loudly that its force threw them both back, Imhotep grabbing Zahra and shielding her with his body while they both witnessed Set's end.

Set thrashed wildly as if his body turned against him, his flesh bulging and thrashing as if enormous parasites were chewing their way out of his body. The god was in utter horror at what was happening to him, unable to comprehend what the two mummies had done to him. As if the world wished to answer his question, a fleshy hand erupted from his chest, the same color as his obsidian skin, grappling with his battle staff and forcing him to drop it. The staff vanished in a flame, solidifying the sand beneath it into an imprint of glass where it once fell. More handles burst from Set's body, grappling with his hands and grasping his legs, face, and head like an angry mob out to rip him apart, erupting from within him. Set continued to scream as the hands kept tearing and scratching his flesh, his golden blood now splattering everywhere like an open fire hydrant. He struggled to fight back as he tried to slash and bite them, but the hands were too numerous and were beginning to overpower him.

Zahra spat at Set, angry tears streaming down her face as she still held her horrifying experience fresh in her mind. "The souls of EVERYONE ever unwillingly sacrificed in your name, every unjust death, every victim, every warrior who stood against you, THEY ALL SHALL BRING YOU DOWN!"

Set was now roaring in defiance of his approaching fate, his hands now bound by the legion of souls tearing him apart from the inside out. His torso kept stretching outwards, the souls of all those unjustly damned by the god now thrashing to escape the confines of Set's body as they could now be seen through the god's stretched skin.

Set howled again and attempted to grab Zahra again. "NO! I SHALL TAKE YOU WITH ME!"

Before he could even get close, a sudden gunshot rang through the air as Set reeled back, shrieking like a banshee as his face was now riddled with holes from the blast. From the holes came more hands that seized Set's face as they began to warp it painfully and crush his skull.

The mummies turned in surprise to see Rick back on his feet with Evy supporting him, the shotgun he was holding smoking as he said. "Burn in hell, and don't EVER come back."

Set screamed as a white light began to emit from his body, the hands that grappled him now tearing at his limbs with all their might until they tore off his arms and legs. The god fell to the ground, limbless, still howling, until finally…

KA-BBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!

The god of evil's body erupted in a maelstrom of souls and hellfire, blowing everyone back. A tornado of souls tore apart the storm of chaos above it, dispersing it and allowing the sun to shine again. As the souls dispersed to the afterlife and the storm broke, everyone could see that the only remaining imprint and proof of Set every being there was his shadow burned into the crimson sand, only for it to be blown away by a sudden but powerful gust of wind.

Zahra looked at Imhotep, her eyes still full of tears, and he thought they were the most beautiful jewels in the world. Gently cupping her face, Imhotep and Zahra slowly closed the distance between them, and their lips met in their first kiss. Zahra wrapped her arms around Imhotep's neck while he repositioned his arms to pull her closer to him, shielding her dignity from any further shame and ensuring she wouldn't vanish from his grasp.

Set was gone. They'd won. So why did it feel so hollow?
