In the middle of the bustling city of New Domino, a large stadium in the shape of the head of the iconic Yu-Gi-Oh card, Blue Eyes White Dragon, stood. Suddenly, the dome began to lift itself up, revealing the tens of thousands upon thousands of spectators watching anxiously for the event to begin.

Standing in the commentator's booth was a young man in his late 20s, with tannish skin, short dark brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. He wore a black shirt with the image of Dark Magician Girl on it, brown shorts and black and red sneakers. A smile grew on his face as he grabbed a microphone, bringing it up to his mouth.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! WELCOME TO THE KAIBA DOME!" The announcer called out as the audience cheered loudly. "I'm your commentator for this illustrious tournament, as well as the brilliant writer of this fanfiction, the 3rd Dragneel! Thank you all for joining me!" Once again, the audience cheered for their writer. "However, I won't be here alone. Joining me is a good friend of mine and my fellow fanfic writer. He's a fan of wrestling, anime and pizza! Please give a warm hand for… EARTH DRAGON ARNIGHTE!"

A slightly chubby bastard sat next to him, saluting the crowd with two fingers. A black, three piece suit with a white trim and an orange handkerchief showed the stylish side of this man as his hair was covered by a black hat with a red rose snuggly inside the rim. "Hello, one and all." Earth Dragon Arnighte, or EDA as his friends called him, greeted everyone.

"This isn't a fashion show, dude." 3rd Dragneel said with a sweatdrop. "You could try looking normal."

"Sounds like someone wishes they could pull this look off." EDA snapped back, only to get a friendly jab to the arm. "Punk…"

"Now that we've introduced ourselves, I think it's time we explained our little tournament." 3rd Dragneel began to explain, getting everyone's attention. "As we all know, Yu-Gi-Oh has grown a lot in the past few decades, with new rules and summoning methods added to the game."

"Not to mention the hours we've spent playing Master Duel." EDA mentioned with a smirk. "With that said, we decided to have a little fun and arrange this MULTIVERSAL tournament!"

"You might be asking 'Multiversal?! Are they insane?!' And the answer is yes. Yes we are." 3rd Dragneel admitted without a shred of guilt. "We wish to test the skills of those outside of our universe to determine who is the best duelist of them all!"

The audience once again cheered in excitement, their interest in the tournament peaking.

"IT'S NOW TIME TO INTRODUCE THE CHALLENGERS!" Both 3rd Dragneel and EDA shouted in their mics rather dramatically. A large platform with a total of 32 seats rose from the ground, with two sets of stairs on each side to help anyone climb up.

"First up is a young lady who went from being a naive commander to a confident general." 3rd Dragneel said with a big smile. "She is one of the newest waifus of the 2020s and is known as Bloody Regina. Give a round of applause for… VLADILENA MILIZE!"

Walking down one of the gateways of the Kaiba Dome was a beautiful young woman, with long silver hair with a cowlick on top, her bangs combed to the right with a red streak on her left side and silver eyes. She wore what looked like a black and white military uniform, completely with a skirt, small metals and combat boots.

"When they said I should compete, I didn't think it would be this big." Vladilena, or "Lena" as her friends called her, muttered to herself with a small sigh. However, she heard the audience cheer, making her smile as she gave them a wave. "But, it doesn't seem that bad." With that, she went over to one of the seats provided for the duelists.

"Isn't she amazing, folks? She just gives off such a commanding, yet soft aura. It's just… wow…" 3rd dragneel sighed dreamily as he looked at Lena, who sweatdropped at his gaze.

"... Dude, you know you look creepy like that, right?" EDA whispered, making 3rd dragneel blink before he widened his eyes and recomposed himself.

"Just… introduce the next duelist." 3rd dragneel quickly told his friend.

"Alright." EDA declared. "The next entry comes to us from Japan… like a lot of our duelists. He's got the look of a wild animal and the temper to match. The King of the Mountains, the Beast from the East! Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome, IIIINNNOOOOUSSSUUUUKKEEEE HAAAASSSHHHIIIIBBBIIIIRRRRAAAA!"

A man clad in a gray boar's head popped up from the other gateway, his entire chest laid bare. The only other clothing he had on was a pair of blueish pants and sandal straps. "Oh yeah! I'm the man! I'm gonna win this whole tournament! I'm the king of dueling!"

"King of the stupid more like it..." 3rd Dragneel unknowingly mumbled into the mic.

A jagged sword crashed into the glass in front of them, scaring the two announcers out of their chairs. The blade barely made it into the panel, cracking the material. "Where was he keeping that!? I thought security confiscated all weapons!" EDA complained as Inosuke was held back by two guards.

"Dude, didn't you get the memo?" The 3rd whispered. "We had to cut down on security for the training regimen. A lot of people in this have never even HEARD of Yu-Gi-Oh, let alone play it."

"I call bullshit…" The sharply dressed man huffed. "But whatever. This is all Fanfiction, so it doesn't matter."

"Exactly." 3rd Dragneel patted his friend on the shoulder before moving close to his mic. "It's time we brought our third competitor! He's a very shy boy who was haunted by the cursed spirit of his clingy ass girlfriend and anyone who gets close to him gets murdered…"

"Dude!" EDA gives him a look, though 3rd Dragneel shoves him down to continue.

"He is a character that SHOULD have been the main lead of his world and the rightful user of Black Flash! Ladies and gentlemen… YYYYYUUUUUUTTTTTAAAAA OOKOTSUUUUUUUUUUUU!"

The audience cheered as a timid young man came out of the gateway, his black hair short and his matching colored eyes looking down at his feet. He wore a white shirt, black pants and matching colored shoes, as well as a ring on his left hand.

"Ohhhh… I still can't believe Panda convinced me to enter…" Yuta muttered as he looked at everyone cheering for him. "Please don't kill anyone, Rikka."

"So… are we sure he'll be okay?" EDA couldn't help but ask in concern for everyone.

"Eh. We got a lot of powerhouses, so it shouldn't be too bad. Besides, as long as we don't piss him off, he's as harmless as a puppy." 3rd Dragneel replied with a shrug, though he did show off a tranquilizer rifle under his desk.

"Yeah, I don't know if I trust you with that thing." His colleague confessed. "Let's change things up with number four. She might not be strong, or utilized properly, but goddamn is she a smart cookie. Please welcome, from the Fairy Guild, Levy McGarden!"

"I feel like I've just been insulted…" A petite blue haired girl said as she walked onto the stage. Clad in an orange dress and arm sleeves, red glasses were over her eyes. A hairband was locked in her locks as she had white shoes strapped on.

"GO LEVY! YOU GOT THIS!" A certain pair of idiots declared while showing a large sign with Levy's face on it. Seeing this, Levy lowered her head while blushing in embarrassment.

"Can we get those signs out of there and shut them up?" Arnighte asked in annoyance.

"Way ahead of you." 3rd Dragneel loaded his tranq rifle before shooting two darts. Soon, Jet and Droy of Fairy Tail fell forward, their sign flowing in the wind.

"Nice." EDA grinned as he high fived his friend.

"Now it is time to bring out our fifth duelist! He is one of the smartest Shonen protagonists in freaking years, which isn't saying a lot. A real wizard when it comes to science and his IQ is ten billion! Give a warm welcome to the king of science…. SENKU ISHIGAMI!" 3rd Dragneel pointed to the gateway as another male came into view. He had upwards white and green brush-like hair, red eyes and crack-like marks over his eyebrows. He wore a light tan outfit with Einstein's sign over his left breast and custom-made shoes.

"Hehe. It's been a while since I played this game." Senku said with a chuckle while cleaning his ear. "Still, I think I can do it." He then went to join the other duelists.

"You sure he should be here? I mean he's got a kingdom to manage." EDA asked with a raised brow.

"Eh. They can manage. Plus, Senku is best boi." 3rd Dragneel answered as if it was obvious.

"Alright, let's class things up around here." Arnighte declared. "Our next entry is a blonde beauty with the vocabulary to match. Though she might not admit it, she is looking to prove she is the best in this tournament. But if you ask me, she already is. Ladies and gentlemen, Sekirei number 09, TSUKIUMI!"

Water erupted around the stands as a woman with long blonde and sharp blue eyes stepped onto the stage. Dressed in a black dress with a white underdress, showing off her assets, a black and white choker, and long brown boots with black stockings, the woman turned and pointed at the other five entries.

"All of the present, and those yet to come, prepare thy selves for defeat in this contest!" Tsukiumi declared in earnest.

"Go, Tsukimi!" The blonde growled in frustration as she turned to the stands. Her Ashikabi and rival 'wives' were in the stands, Musubi holding a sign.

"Behave thy self, Musubi!" She shouted, making the brunette sit down with a chuckle.

"God, does she have class…" Arnighte mumbled dreamily. "Is it any wonder that people consider her to be best girl?"

"I haven't even seen the show and I already love her." 3rd agreed. "Also, dear GOD IS SHE STACKED!" A loud slap echoed in the mic as he grabbed his face. "What the hell, dude!?"

"Hey, since she can't hit you, I have too." His colleague declared, opening his suit enough to reveal a 'Tsukiumi fan club president' t-shirt.

"How are you not sweating like a pig?" Dragneel asked in concern.

"I'm used to it." EDA declared, closing his shirt. He then takes out a sponge and helps dry his face.

"... Okay then. Moving on from that." 3rd Dragneel choked in his hand before pulling his mic close. "Time to bring in duelist number seven! She soars the cosmos as a member of the Edens Zero crew. A B-Tuber who makes somewhat decent videos and a fan of games, ladies and gentlemen… REBECCA BLUEGARDEN!"

The next duelist to enter the arena was a beautiful girl with blue eyes, fair skin, and wavy ash-blonde hair that reached to her waist, fashioned with a red clip on the left side of her head. A pair of triangle-shaped earrings hang from her ears along with a necklace displaying an image of a heart circling her neck. Her arms are covered by a pair of black and gold sleeves that only leave her shoulder and hands visible; an intricate figure completes the article at the top. She wears a blue-collared, white jacket and is styled with a heart-shaped zipper hanging in between her chest; hugged by a simple white, sleeveless shirt underneath. She completes her outfit with a short, black, and gold skirt with a slit on the side and long, black and gold boots.

"Hey, everyone! How's it going?!" Rebecca greeted everyone with a wink, making a lot of the males in the audience swoon for her. "Make sure you subscribe for more dueling tips!"

"You know, I love Rebecca as much as the next guy, but trying to turn a dueling tournament into a vlog seems cheap." 3rd Dragneel admitted before drinking a can of Coke Cola.

"Pot calling the kettle black…" EDA rolled his eyes before reading up on the next duelist. "Next up, we have some royalty in this tournament. From the Kingdom of Pars, the crown Prince who fights for equality for all. ARSLAN!"

Donned in high quality clothing and a gold earring in each, a pale skinned boy with silver hair tied in a ponytail and blue eyes entered the arena. Though seemingly weak and frail in appearance, he had the air of confidence and compassion. He waved at the crowd and bowed in gratitude at the opponents in the arena.

"I look forward to facing all of you." He earnestly said. "This is truly an honor to be part of this."

"Humble, kind, and brave." EDA declared. "Exactly the qualities you want in a king."

"Is it weird bringing someone from the past in a tournament focusing on a card game?" 3rd Dragneel asked rather bluntly.

"... Dude, we have a guy with a boar mask in this tournament. I'm pretty sure logic went out the window." EDA remarked.

"True that." 3rd Dragneel cleared his throat as he looked at the schedule. "Duelist number nine is a very interesting choice. She is known as one of the most dangerous Spirits in her universe. A master in time manipulation and is considered by many to be one of the best Yanderes in anime."

"Jesus Christ. Please tell me it isn't Yuno." EDA begged, not wanting to deal with that crazy Yandere.

"No, we aren't that insane. It's…" 3rd Dragneel suddenly began to sweat as he saw the name. "... Oh crap. It's Kurumi Tokisaki."

"You called~" Both 3rd Dragneel and EDA yelped as they turned around and saw a young teen standing behind them. She had pale skin, long black hair tied in uneven pigtails, and different colored eyes: her right eye being red while her left was gold with a clock inside it. She wore a crimson gothic dress with black frills, complete with a net bow on top of her head.

"W-W-W-What the hell are you doing here?!" EDA asked with a stutter.

"Oh, I just thought I would greet the two of you personally. After all, you WERE the ones who organized this tournament." Kurumi answered with a smile as she reached out to stroke their chins, her cold touch made the hosts shiver in fear.

"Ummm… t-thanks. But you really should t-t-try and join the o-others." 3rd Dragneel reminded her, only to hear her giggle.

"But I'm already over there." Kurumi told them, much to their confusion. Turning to the other duelists, they were shocked to see Kurumi sitting next to Senku, giving the hosts a wave. Blinking in confusion, 3rd Dragneel and EDA looked back at the Kurumi they were talking to, who giggled mischievously before disappearing into the shadows.

"... Okay, fair warning. If ANY other duelist tries that crap again, I'm kicking the shit out of them." EDA said to everyone through the mic, not wanting to deal with that shit again. Taking a few calm breaths, he continued. "Up next, a pragmatic fighter and a guy with a badass mask. He's here to show everyone what a TRUE Magic Knight should be, or else you'll get a rainbow bug up the nose. It's Zora Ideale!"

A tall, lanky teen with red hair walked up to the stage, his appearance scaring some of the kids in the crowd. The most distinguishing feature of Zora is the series of black leather straps that wrap around his lower face, leaving openings for his nostrils and his mouth, and cover his neck. The opening for his mouth displays his sharpened teeth. The final strap is thicker and studded. His black shirt only covers his shoulders, upper arms, and his upper back.

Zora's complexion is noticeably paler than others. His crimson hair goes up, reminiscent of flames. He also bears two metal studs above his right eyebrow and three below his lower lip set into the straps towards the left side.

"Let's get this over with…" He huffed in annoyance as he went up to join the duelists.

"He seems… less than excited to be here." 3rd Dragneel observed.

"That's because we took away his freaking stink bugs." EDA pointed out. "Don't worry. We put them in a safe place."

"Where's that?"

"About ten miles away from here!" Arnighte declared. "Those things STINK!"

"Good. I am NOT taking another shower." Clearing his throat, 3rd Dragneel looks at the list. "Our next duelist is a rather cool headed demon who many consider top waifu. She and her sister, despite using opposite elements, can come together to form something amazing! From the realm of demons, Misha Necron!"

Coming out of the entrance was a young girl with pale skin, short and messy white hair and blue eyes. She wore a white uniform with a hexagon badge on her chest, two hair ribbons with a blue diamond at the tip, long gray socks and white boots.

Misha said nothing as she went to join the duelists, making the hosts sweatdrop.

"... Okay. I guess she's shy or… she just doesn't care." 3rd Dragneel commented while scratching his head.

"Yeah, even I don't know what she's thinking." EDA confessed. "Anywho, next up we have a man who hasn't had the easiest life, mostly due to his own father. But he pushed past it and is ready to prove himself yet again. Ikki Kurogane, take the stage!"

A young man of average height with spiky black hair and gray eyes walked onto the platform. He has a lean but well-built toned physique hidden by his black and white school uniform. Waving to the crowd, he smiled at the portion with his friends and fiancé.

"God, we need another season. I mean why does One Piece get 1000 episodes, but shows like Chivalry get one season! That's bullshit!" EDA complained in the mic, getting looks from everyone.

"... Dude, be careful with what you say. You never know how many One Piece fans are here." 3rd Dragneel whispered as he saw several people glaring. "But aside from that, it's time we brought in a veteran hero! He kept the ideals of heroism alive, even when he lost his powers. Not to mention he makes mean fried rice. Kotetsu T. Kaburagi!"

"I still wish they just used my codename." Entering the arena was a man in his thirties, with tan skin, brown eyes and similar hair that was combed to the left. He wore a dark green shirt under a business shirt with gray sleeves, black pants, white and black shoes and a white cap with a black line in the middle. He looked up and smiled as some of the audience had Wild Tigers posters raised up high. "Wonder if Bunny and the others are watching."

"God, I love Tiger & Bunny. So underrated. And this man right here is the pinnacle of heroism." 3rd Dragneel shamelessly admitted with a big smile.

"It's no My Hero, but even I admit it deserves love." Earth Dragon admitted as the two hosts fist bump. "All right, next up is…" He looked at the paper in front of him, only to start shaking his head. "I'm not reading this name."

"Come on, dude." 3rd Dragneel demanded with a knowing tone. "We can't keep people waiting. Just read it."

"No way. Not happening." Arnighte stood behind his decision.

"Dude, you don't have to be super excited. Just read it." 3rd Dragneel urged him, wanting to get this done.

"Fine…" EDA huffed. "Next up we have…" He mumbled the entrance name, confusing the crowd.

"Sorry what?"

"I said next up we have Kat… Ba…" He mumbled louder, no one in the crowd getting it.

"Dude, this is ridiculous." Dragneel huffed. "Just say-"

"I said next up is KATSUKI GODDAMN BAKUGO! There, you happy?!" EDA shouted as the explosive blonde entered the arena. "I freaking hate this guy."

"BITE ME, YOU FAT BASTARD!" The Quirked human shouted back.

"You motherf-" Earth Dragon took out a baseball bat with barbed wire wrapped around it, only for his friend to grab him.

"Dude! Chill! He's not worth it! Let him whine about always being second fiddle!" 3rd Dragneel reassured Arnighte, who took a deep breath while sitting down. "... Also, Shoto is better than Katsuki."

"SCREW BOTH OF YOU!" Katsuki shouted, though he still went to join the other duelists.

"Alright, alright. Let's just keep going and rage about this later." 3rd Dragneel looked at the list and smiled. "Our fifteenth duelist for the tournament is a beautiful samurai, though for some reason, she considers herself a knight. The badass of the Edens Zero and current Valkyrie… HOMURA KOGETSU!"

Entering the arena was a beautiful young woman with dark brown eyes, long navy blue hair tied in a high ponytail and a beauty mark under her left eye. She wore a sleeveless yellow-colored kimono with red-colored flower-like designs and knee-length black stockings along with sandals.

Homura calmly walked over to the other duelists and sat down next to Kotetsu.

"There's so many people here. I can't let any of the others know that I'm really nervous since I just started playing the game last month." Homura said in her mind… though in reality, she just blurted it out.

"Ummm, you do know you said that out loud, right?" Kotetsu pointed out as the others stared at the beautiful swordswoman, who widened her eyes before covering her mouth.

"She kinda does that a lot. Don't worry." Rebecca chuckles before giving her friend a smile.

"Is it weird that I can't unsee her as an older version of Wendy?" Earth Dragon couldn't help but ask, feeling a bit conflicted.

"Ehhh. Mashima has his own way of making characters. I'm not complaining cause Homura is awesome." 3rd Dragneel told him with a confident tone.

"No, she is. It's still awkward." Shaking his head, EDA looked at the roster of duelists before smiling. "Now here's a good one. Our next duelist is a shy, but witty girl in real life, and a badass sniper in game. Just make sure you don't tug on her tail in Alfheim online! Ladies and gentlemen… SHINO ASADA!"

The crowd cheered as a young girl with short dark hair that had small ribbons on it, fair skin and black eyes that were behind a pair of half-rimmed glasses with oval-shaped lenses. She wore casual clothes and looked a bit nervous.

"You should try out for the tournament, Shino. We know you can handle some attention, Shino. What was I thinking?" Shino muttered to herself, though she did smile upon seeing all her friends cheering her on. "Well, I guess it is good to take a break from gaming."

"Still one of the best characters in her world. And I love the show." EDA confessed.

"Eh. I wish she got her own spin off." Dragneel admitted as his partner looked at him.

"Dude, ALL of season 2 was her spin off."

"True. True." Dragneel gave him a nod before continuing. "Alright, duelist number 17 is a guy who doesn't like to fight, but is pretty damn good at it. With his own film giving him the justice he deserved for years and wearing an admittedly dumb hero outfit… SON GOHAN!"

Appearing in the arena was a young man with spiky black hair, pale skin and black eyes. He wore casual clothes as he made his way towards the other duelists.

"Wow. This is even bigger than the World Martial Arts Tournament." Gohan confessed to himself in awe as he sat between Inosuke and Arslan. "Hi."

"Hello. It's an honor to meet you." Arslan greeted with a friendly smile.

"Your hair's so spiky!" Inosuke shouted out as Gohan chuckled nervously.

"I don't get it. He's an adult in the current Dragon Ball series. So why the hell is he a teenager here?" EDA couldn't help but ask.

"Cause he was a good character as a teen, even after the seven year timeskip. Duh." Dragneel told him with a shrug. "Plus, it's Fanfiction. Anything goes."

"Right… okay then." EDA looked at the list before giving a face. "The next duelist is considered the best female character in her trilogy. The daughter of the demon Sesshōmaru and a badass with her Yukari no Tachikiri. Ladies and gentlemen… SETSUNA HIGARASHI!"

Entering the arena was a young girl with fair skin, long black hair with two red streaks, one on each side of her head, tied into a high ponytail by a white ribbon and purple eyes. She wore a navy kimono-like skin-tight suit with deep violet armor plating, a large white fur over her right shoulder and deep violet boots.

Setsuna said nothing as she made her way towards the other duelists, sitting next to Yuta.

"Hi… I'm Yuta." Yuta introduced himself, getting a glance from Setsuna.

"Setsuna." Was all Setsuna said as he looked away.

"Huh. Kinda expected her to be more… open." EDA confessed. "Think it has something to do with security taking away her Yukari no Tachikiri?"

"Probably. You know how protective she is of it." 3rd Dragneel shrugged as he looked at the list, a big grin appearing on his face. "Awww yeah. Now we're talking. Duelist number nineteen is a fiery tsundere from a series I personally enjoy. She is ranked number five in her school and is the current princess of Lieseltania. One of my personal favorite tsunderes of all time… JULIS ALEXIA VON RIESSFELD!"

The crowd cheered as a young beautiful woman with long pink hair and aqua eyes entered the arena. She wore her school's uniform jacket and dress with a white blouse underneath, two key-like headpieces on either side of her head, and black leggings, complete with matching shoes.

'This is ridiculous. Why did I even agree to do this?' Julis thought as she was making her way towards the other duelists. She looked up and gasped as she saw several of her people holding up a banner, with some kids even wearing headpieces resembling her own.

"JULIS!" Ayato Amagiri called out. He gave his partner a smile while giving her a thumbs up. "You got this!"

"Ayato.. You idiot." Julis looked away to avoid him and everyone else seeing her blush, though she did smile as she joined the other duelists.

"Your boyfriend?" Kurumi called out with a knowing smile, much to Julis' horror.

"N-No! Of course not! He's a friend!" Julis countered, making Kurumi giggle while the others just sweatdropped.

"Ahhh, tsunderes. Can never get too many of them." 3rd Dragneel sighed dreamingly.

"I have my own favorite tsunderes, so I can relate." EDA chuckled before continuing. "Oh… oh…"

"What? Something wrong?" 3rd Dragneel looked over his friend's shoulder and blinked. "Ahhh… I mean… we should just get it over with."

"I guess. Just… wow." Clearing his throat, EDA spoke up. "Our next duelist is a master swordsman, focusing on the Flame Breathing Style of swordplay. If you give him some good food, he'll show you his honest to goodness opinion. He is… KYOJURO RENGOKU!"

Suddenly, the crowd cheered even louder as a new duelist entered the fray. It was a tall young man with long flame-like hair and golden eyes. He wore a lightly brown uniform with a white haori with a white-yellow gradient pattern and open sandals.

"Greetings, everyone!" Rengoku called out loudly while waving at everyone. "I hope everyone is having a wonderful time! Hopefully, the battles you see today will set your hearts ablaze!" This seemed to pump everyone up as he went to join the other duelists.

"Not a bad little speech." Zora confessed as Rengoku gave him a smile.

"Thank you! I wish all of you the best of luck!"

"So… are we not gonna talk about this?" EDA whispered to his partner while glancing at Rengoku. "I mean… he is technically de-"

"Shhh!" 3rd Dragneel put a finger over his friend's mouth to stop him. "Pretty sure he doesn't know his future, so it's best we keep it a secret. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure Inosuke is too dumb to bring it up." EDA just gave him a nod as 3rd Dragneel backed away. "Now then, let us continue with our next duelists. She may look like a kid and she may act like one a lot, but if you got a Crimson Denizen coming after you, she's your girl. A big fan of melon bread and a tsundare at heart, please welcome SHANA!"

Entering the arena next was a young girl with long black hair, black eyes and a deep frown on her face. She seemed to wear an olive green school uniform, as well as a black coat and a pendant around her neck.

"Damnit, Yuji. I play the game ONE time and you tell me to enter? Stupid dummy…" Shana muttered to herself as she sat with the other duelists.

"You could have simply said no. Yet you seemed rather eager to participate." Alastor, her pendant, pointed out, much to her annoyance.

"Shut up, shut up, shut up! No one asked you!" Shana yelled at Alastor, though only she could understand him.

"Is she talking to her pendant?" Shino asked out loud, though the others either ignored it or simply didn't question it.

"Shouldn't we have taken Alastor away from her? I mean I doubt he knows the game, but still." 3rd Dragneel pointed out.

"Ehhh, it shouldn't be too bad. Besides, I don't remember him giving her advice during a fight, so we're good." EDA nodded before looking at the list, his eyebrow raising a bit. "Huh. How about that? Our next duelist is probably the only person in this tournament who actually played this game, at least in his old life. But now he will live life to the fullest. Everyone welcome, Rudeus 'Quagmire' Greyrat!"

The next person to join the tournament was a young man with light brown hair fashioned in a small ponytail and green eyes, with a mole under his left eye. He wore a white and red school uniform as he walked onto the stage, his chin in his hand.

"Interesting." Rudeus muttered to himself. 'Wonder if my old strategies will still work in this new version…' He stopped when he caught a glance of his expecting wife and younger sisters in the crowd, waving at him. With a smile on his face, he waved back.

"God, I love Jobless Reincarnation. One of the best isekai around. Cannot WAIT for season three to start!" EDA cheered happily.

"I still need to watch it, but I can tell Rudeus might have some tricks up his sleeve." 3rd Dragneel looked at the list and smiled. "Awww, yeah. Time to bring in an underdog from a solid underrated series. This boy wants to just live a normal life, but somehow, he's a walking trouble magnet. A hidden chad among us and a member of the Tohyama family, Kinji Tohyama, get out here!"

"Thank god he didn't mention Hysteria Mode." Walking into the arena was a young teen with short black hair and brown eyes. He wore a red school unform with a tie and dark shoes. "Why the hell did Mutou have to sign me up? I didn't even wanna-"

"GO KIN-KIN!"

"YOU GOT THIS, MY DARLING KINJI!" Said person cringed as he saw Shirayuki and Riko cheering him on from the stands.

"I am so jealous. This man is a walking ladies magnet." 3rd Dragneel sighed in disappointment.

"Doesn't really look like he's having fun. But you do you, bud." EDA said as he looked at the list with a grin. "Alright, let's lighten things up. Bring out the alien queen and the goddess of break dancing, a young hero in training, Mina Ashido!"

A pink skinned and haired girl with two horns slid out onto the stage over some slime and came to a stop. "Let's have some fun!" She cheered with a fist in the air. The entire arena matched her roar and excitement.

"God, she needs more of a spotlight." Arnighte declared. "Certainly more than Bakugo!"

"Kiss my ass, simp!" The explosive hero snapped back.

"Okay, okay. As much as I enjoy a little Bakugo bashing and do believe Mina needs more love, let's keep it semi-professional." 3rd Dragneel calms everyone down as he reads the next duelist on the list. "Huh. Speaking of spotlight, this guy certainly took it when his series returned after ten freaking years. He may have the blood of multiple beings, but he tries to live the best life he can, despite fighting Hollows and the occasional Quincy. Give a round of applause to Ichigo 'Strawberry' Kurosaki!"

"I'M NOT A DAMN STRAWBERRY!"The next duelist was a tall, young man with short orange hair and brown eyes, wearing casual clothes while scowling in annoyance. He heard the audience cheer before sighing. "Ahhh, hell. Just get through it, Ichigo. It's just a card game."

"God, it is freaking awesome Ichigo and the gang's back. I really missed that strawberry." 3rd Dragneel said, getting a look from his friend. "What? I like the guy, but that doesn't mean I won't joke with him."

"Just be happy he doesn't have his big ass sword." The ambivalent fan replied. "But speaking of badass swordsmen in black, up next we got the king of digital warfare and, to some people on the internet, a harem farmer. Kazuto Kirigiya, aka Kirito!"

A teen with short, messy black hair and matching colored eyes entered the arena, wearing casual clothes. "Well, it still beats those years in Aincrad." He chuckled, waving at his girlfriend next to his friends. He came to a stop in front of Shion and smiled. "I don't think they allow present grenades in this."

"Guess that means I'll just have to beat you this time." The sniper replied as the two shook hands.

"Friendly rivalry, you love to see it." EDA said with a smile.

"More like trying to steal you man. Asuna better watch out." 3rd Dragneel muttered, but for some reason, Asuna looked in his direction, making him freeze. "Oh god, please tell me she didn't hear me."

"I don't know, man. She was technically an elf in Alfheim." EDA shrugged, making his friend gulp.

"L-Let's just move on before I end up getting a knife to the face." Wiping away his sweat, 3rd Dragneel looked at the list before gasping. "Now, the next one of our competitors is a SHOCKING entry. See what I did there?" His friend rolled his eyes. "Okay, okay. Moving on from that, she is even more popular than even the main character of this series. She has a fondness for arcade tokens and frogs, Mikoto Misaka!"

"Why'd he have to bring that up?" Entering the arena was a young girl, dressed in what looked like middle school clothes. Her hair was a short chestnut brown with a flower hair pin on it and brown eyes. Seeing how excited everyone was for her, Mikoto allowed a smile to grow on her face. "Oh well. At least this'll be fun."

"SISSY!" Unfortunately, Mikoto flinched as she heard Kuroko Shirai call out for her. "YOU CAN DO THIS! SHOW THEM YOU'RE THE BEST!"

"Kuroko…" The electromaster felt a tick on her head as Uiharu and Satan began to calm her roommate down. Feeling rather embarrassed, Mikoto went to join the other duelists, with some feeling rather sympathetic for her.

"I swear, Kuroko needs to chill. No wonder our friend hates her." 3rd Dragneel commented with an annoyed face.

"No kidding. I mean I get the admiration, but she goes WAY too far, bro." EDA agreed before he continued. "Now, duelist number 28 is a kickass blonde with some really bad jokes." EDA started, unable to hide his excitement. "She may have lost a lot, but she still tries, even though a lot of people are giving her series crap. Give a warm hand to the Y in RWBY… YANG XIAO LONG!"

The audience cheered as the next duelist arrived. She was a tall, fair skinned young woman with lilac eyes and long blonde hair reaching her back, wearing a brown outfit with her orange scarf and yellow metal right arm.

"What's up, peeps?! Ready to start this off with a YANG?!" Yang shouted while waving at her fans. This seemed to get everyone hyped up as they cheered even louder.

"That's my girl. You can not love her, even with these past few seasons." EDA said before he joined in one the cheering. "Yang! Yang! Yang!"

"Just glad she toned down the puns. They were getting mildly cringe." 3rd Dragneel added as he looked at the list. "Coming up next is a magic knight who proved everyone wrong. He may not have magic and he might be really REALLY loud, but his never give up spirit inspires all. Everyone, give it up to the Black Bulls' very own… ASTA!"

"OHHHHH YEAH!" Running into the arena was a short young man with spiky ash blonde hair, green eyes and his right arm was completely black, with blood red cragged marks. He had a black, tight fitting shirt that covered his shoulders, upper arms and some of his chest, leaving his abs exposed. He also had black, high-waisted pants, his iconic headband, brown knee high boots, a large brown double-prong belt, and the iconic Black Bull robe over his left shoulder. "Let's show these guys how strong we are, Liebe!"

"I can't believe you actually came here." Appearing over Asta's right shoulder was a small black, devil-like creature with small wings, a tail and a face similar to Asta's, minus the dark red eyes and pale complexion. This was Liebe, the Devil in Asta's Grimoire and his 'brother.'

"Cause it sounds fun! Plus, Zora's here. So we aren't alone!" Asta replied as he went to sit next to his fellow Black Bull. "Hey, Zora!"

"Hey." Zora gave a simple nod, though the thought of dueling Asta made him smile.

"Two Black Bulls in one tournament. What are the odds?" Earth Dragon admitted.

"Who cares? Having Asta duel sounds awesome! Like your story, Rise of the Monsters." 3rd Dragneel said before glancing at his friend. "By the way, where's the next chapter?"

"I'm working on it..." EDA growled in annoyance as he pushed his friend to the side before he read the next name. "Let's call out our 30th duelist." EDA suddenly blinked in surprise. "Oh. Well, I didn't expect him to show up. Our next duelist is good buddies with two characters from this series. He's a bro, but if you piss him off, he'll apparently go Jojo on your ass. Everyone, give a round of applause for Ogun Montgomery!"

The next duelist who arrived was a young, dark skinned man with black hair with shaved sides, and cornrows on the top. He has orange eyes with light swirls as the iris and wore an orange jumpsuit.

"This is gonna be great. This is for you, Shinra and Arthur." Ogun muttered to himself before growing a smile as he saw his friends, as well as the audience cheer for him before he went to join the other duelists.

"Honestly, I think he deserves his own series." EDA said as 3rd Dragneel nodded.

"I agree. I agree. Plus, he is funny as hell." 3rd Dragneel chuckled in amusement before he went back to the list. "Our second to last duelist is a kickass tomboy who starred in one of Trigger's most popular series. She likes kicking ass and lemons. Just don't piss her off or she might cut you down with her scissor blades. Ladies and gentlemen… RYUKO MATOI!"

The next duelist to enter the arena was a young woman, with blue-black hair that had a red highlight on the left side. She wore her signature black and red Kamui, Senketsu.

"Well shit. It's almost as big as the Sports Festival back home." Ryuko confessed as she looked around.

"Do not let that stop you, Ryuko. Here, it is not a life and death situation." Senketsu commented, though only Ryuko was able to hear him as she went to join the others.

"So glad she's here. Kill La Kill is one of my favorite series." EDA said with a proud smile. "Best tomboy ever!"

"I mean there are a number of contenders, but I like her too. So, high five!" The two hosts gave each other a high five before EDA read the last duelist. "And finally, our last duelist is a literal war-goddess, ready to trade her blade for a duel disk, at least for a little bit. Watch out, because her wit is just as sharp as her wind blade. It's Eleonora Viltaria!"

The crowd watched as an attractive white-skinned young woman of average height with a stunning face walked onto the field. Her waist-length silver hair has a red hair clip on the left side with bangs swept on either side, crimson eyes, slender arms, a voluptuous figure and large breasts. Wearing blue light armor, with her red and violet skirts over the belly line, and her mini cape.

"Fair warning, I don't plan on losing to anyone." She declared, taking a glance down at her competition. "Least of all you."

"WHAT'D YOU SAY!?" Bakugo shouted, forcing Rengoku and Asta to hold him back.

"And there you have it, ladies and gentlemen! Our 32 duelists have arrived! Now, it's time for us to go over the rules!"

"Each duelist will be given a standardized duel disk, courtesy of Kaiba Corp." EDA added as several staff members wheeled in a cart with silver duel disks, handing them out to each duelist. "And just to make sure nothing happens, each disk will be monitored and examined before each duel. Cause cheaters are the worst kind of duelists."

"Hang on. You guys see this?" Gohan asked as he showed the others his duel disk, which had the normal 5 monster zones, 5 spell and trap card zones, with two acting as Pendulum Scales, the Extra Deck Monster Zone and a field card zone. However, what was strange was the card zone on top of the duel disk, a few inches away from the main deck.

"Must be some weird rule they put in." Senku theorized with a raised brow.

"Ahhh, I see our duelists have noticed the extra card zone. Good eye, everyone." 3rd Dragneel complimented with a smile. "You see, while making this tournament, we decided to add a little something extra, just to have fun."

"I'm sure everyone who's seen the original Yu-Gi-Oh remembers the whole Virtual World arc in the middle of Battle City, which was just random as hell." Earth Dragon continued as some of the audience nodded. "Aside from just wasting time, the whole arc DID bring up a cool idea: Deck Masters."

"Basically, the Deck Masters are monsters from your main deck, which you can summon to your side during a duel. They cannot attack or defend you while in that zone, but they DO get a nifty ability, depending on the monster you choose." 3rd Dragneel explained, his smile growing a bit. "But, if a duelist wanted to, you can summon your Deck Master to the field and use them for a tribute, Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, XYZ and Link summon. Whatever monster you summon using your Deck Master becomes your new Deck Master for the duration of the duel."

This rule seemed to interest many of the duelists. With this new gimmick, they could easily bring out their best monsters whenever they want.

"HOWEVER!" EDA's voice caught their attention. "Once you summon your Deck Master to the field, you CANNOT put them back in the Deck Master zone. And if your monster leaves the field, whether because it was destroyed, banished or even just bounced back ti the hand or deck, you automatically lose the duel. No ifs, ands or buts."

"So if any of you thought you could use your Deck Master as an easy summon, I advise you take some time to think it over." 3rd Dragneel reminded everyone. "Only the very best will be able to defeat their opponents and win…" He pointed to the right, where a spotlight magically turned on over a large golden trophy with several dollars in it. "10 MILLION DOLLARS! Or 10 million of whatever currency your world has. So…" He pointed a finger in the air, with EDA doing the same. "ARE YOU GUYS READY TO THROW DOWN?!"

"YEAH!" The audience's cheers roared so loud, the ground itself almost shook from the hype.

"First, let's see who's dueling who in the first round." EDA gestured to the jumbo screen, which had pictures of all 32 duelists on it before they began to spin. Everyone watched intensely as all the pictures were shuffled together before 16 match ups were made, though the pictures were still flipped so no one could see. "Show us the match ups!"

With that, the pictures were flipped, allowing everyone to see the first round duels.

"Damn! Now these are some matchups!" EDA commented as he looked at the screen in surprise.

"No kidding. But that just means we'll get some unique card play!" 3rd Dragneel added before paying attention to the duelists. "We'll host 4 duels per day, with intermission in between so our next duelists can have time to strategize. Once our 32 duelists become 16, we'll head into the 2nd round. Then, when our 16 becomes 8, we'll go to round 3, and etc, etc. Just remember everyone." He then gave a serious expression. "Absolutely NO powers are to be used, as well as any weapons, hence why we confiscated any swords, suits, soul badges and/or stink bugs. Looking at you, Zora."

"Tch." The redhead simply clicked his tongue.

"Our first duel will begin at 10AM tomorrow. So for our duelists, you will be led to your quarters. Make sure to rest up, swap out any cards you need, fill your bellies, whatever. And a side note: should any duelist have more than one deck, please make sure you register which one you will be using during each round. Otherwise, we'll assume you're cheating."

"Good luck, everyone. And we will see you tomorrow!" EDA finished as everyone else cheered.

With that, the opening day has come to an end…

3rd Dragneel: Man! What a way to introduce our joint project, eh buddy?

EDA: Yeah, but… don't you feel like we're cheating people out of a chapter ending like this?

3rd Dragneel: I get where you're coming from, but I just feel bad having 4 people kicked out not even a day since they got there.

EDA: Fair point. I'd be pissed if I was kicked out on the first day.

3rd Dragneel: Never a good feeling… I would know *Cry anime tears.*

EDA: Okay… anyways, hope everyone is interested in this little project me and 3D started. It happened because we, along with our friends, discussed who would enter a Yu-Gi-Oh multiversal tournament.

3rd Dragneel: I know people will be pissed that I haven't updated my other stories, but I am going to get back to them. Like my MK1 guest characters thing, this will be updated on the slow side. Mostly because this is the first time I am co-writing a story with someone, so I'm glad I get to do this with my Yugi-Bro.

EDA: Thanks, man. And I'm honestly excited to write this story. Just a note: we will allow the use of forbidden cards like Graceful Charity, as well as anime effects like Card of Demise.

3rd Dragneel: Not to mention, we might pitch in our own original cards just for the heck of it. I know it sounds cheap, but this is our story. Follow, Review, PM for anything appropriate. Hell, let us know your predictions for decks the characters will use.

Next time: Fierce Science.
