This is just a preview of the story I have on Wattpad. Basically, the story is about Spencer getting a job with Toby's company. Only, he hates being the boss at his family company, which makes him hard to work with. Spencer works hard to prove her worth at the company all while trying to hide secrets from her past. Toby hates the position he is in but struggles to break old habits. Join them on their journey. Find out what happens when the company is assigned a new project and the two are forced to work together. There will be tension. There will be romance. There will be heartbreak. All will be fine as long as they can find the fine line between business and casual.

When Spencer Hastings first broke the news to her parents that she wanted to be an interior designer over a lawyer, it nearly ruined her relationship with them forever. Even after her parents came around for her college graduation, she knew there was some resentment there as they watched her accept her bachelor's degree in interior design. Their slow applause and stiff smiles told her all she needed to know. No party had been planned along with no further celebrations. Spencer said her goodbyes to her parents as they headed back to their small town of Rosewood and Spencer headed back to her apartment down state.

Spencer entered her little dark apartment and set her graduation cap on the table then hung her gown up on the wall. Her friends back in Rosewood couldn't be here for her due to them having their own graduations. She could just picture all her friends surrounded by their loved ones in celebration. Spencer celebrated by herself alone in her apartment with a half bottle of wine and a little microwave meal. Spencer had to force herself to be proud of herself. She just got a bachelor's degree. She put in applications for good jobs all over the Eastern coast and had great recommendations written on her behalf by professors and former employers. She did a year-long internship with Sasha's, a small interior design company often hired to design rooms for doctors and other waiting offices. Although it did not seem like very impressive work, Sasha taught her a lot about texture designs, different patterns, materials, and how important working with others is to create something wonderful.

Before going to bed that night, Spencer's foul mood turned upward as she caught an email from C & Son's company. C & Son's company was a well-respected company responsible for designing and building apartment complexes, tall buildings, hotels, and large houses. Spencer could hardly breathe as she read that they looked over the application she sent in and were impressed with her resume, and they would love for her to come in for a job interview on Monday. Fresh out of college and she already has an interview with a powerful company. Maybe Spencer's parents were wrong. Maybe becoming an interior designer wasn't a waste. Spencer sipped the last of her wine and smiled. Today sucked, but Monday was a new day. Good things are coming her way, she just knew it.

Story continues on . I know this seems like a tease, but I've had many issues with which is why I am posting the story on Wattpad instead. I'm only sharing this little bit here in case I have some old readers left here who want to follow along with another one of my stories. I am also trying to post it on AO3, but even that site is a little weird, so. If you're interested in reading more of this, my new username on Wattpad is Endgame_Dreams. On there, I am able to post three times a week, so I already have several chapters posted already. Just come on over if you'd like.
