Rebecca woke up on the couch of this mystery man in his boathouse. Not sure of how much time she has been sleeping or what time it was. In fact, she doesn't really have recollection of what happened last night. She just knows that there was some dancing in the kitchen and a lot of alcohol involved. She looks around the room just to find her clothes neatly folded on the coffee table next to her. She gets up and get dress.

She steps in the kitchen to realize that the mysterious Dutch man with who she spent the last evening there.

Rebecca: Morning

Dutchman: Good morning! How did you sleep?

Rebecca: Good, well I had worst night.

Dutchman: Breakfast?

Rebecca: No, I must go.

She walks closer to him as the stairs are the other side of the boat. She stops really close to him.

Rebecca: One question though, what happened last night?

Dutchman: Well, we ate, we danced, you learned some words in Dutch and… well how do I say that.

Rebecca: No need, I can figure this one out on my own.

Dutchman: Well-

Rebecca: Thank you for all this, it's been fun.

He gets closer to her and kisses her. She kisses him back. In the back of her mind, she was wondering what she was doing. She was clearly never going to see him again. She stepped away.

Rebecca: I'll go now but I'll never forget you!

Dutchman: You might-

Rebecca looked back at him, frowning.

Dutchman: - people get Alzheimer.

She turned away and laughed while exiting the boathouse. Once outside, she took a long deep breath in. She didn't know his name; he didn't know hers. She walked away a like. She sat on a nearby bench to look at the canal. What a beautiful sight. She looked around for her cellphone before remembering that it was at the very bottom of one of those canals following her little swim in it. She started to laugh. One chance the hotel where the team was staying was not to far. She took a minute to enjoy everything that happen on the night before.

Twenty minute later, she was on the bus with AFC Richmond players and coaches.

Ted: You alright boss?

She nods softly.

Ted: 12 un-answered texts, 3 un-hahaed GIF, we good?

Rebecca: Oh Ted, my phone is at the bottom of a canal.

Ted: That explains it. So, what did you do last night?

Rebecca: Even if I told you, you wouldn't believe it, but it was magical.

Ted: 'Right boss.

They eventually made it back to Richmond. She immediately got the phone situation back to normal. Yes, because she needed it for work but also because she needed to call someone about last night.

Who should I call first?

Sass!

Rebecca: Sassy!

Sassy: Stinky!

Rebecca: I hope you are sitting.

Sassy: Why? What's going on?

Rebecca: Am I on speaker?

Sassy: No, don't worry, Nora is with her dad this weekend.

Rebecca: Oh good. After we spoke yesterday –

Sassy: Yes! Please tell me that you ate a space cake.

Rebecca: No, better than that – I ended up in the canal and a wonderful man rescued me.

Sassy: WHAT!

Rebecca: I know – but listen, it was the most beautiful night of my life.

Sassy: What's his name?

Rebecca: That's the thing, I don't know.

Sassy: REBECCA!

Sassy starts to laugh but she's also so intrigued about the rest of Rebecca's story.

Sassy: You need to tell me everything.

Rebecca: Well, I too ka shower in his boat –

Sassy: He lives on a boat

Rebecca: - yes, he does. He cooked me dinner, we had a few drinks and some wine. We danced to some Kenny Rogers and some Dutch music.

Sassy: Did you sleep with him?

Silence.

Rebecca: Yes, I did!

Sassy: Oh, you're bad.

Rebecca: I know but listen, he was the most beautiful, caring man I have ever met.

Sassy: Hard to find worst than Rupert babe.

Rebecca: Touché, but I want to keep this just the way it is. Simply Gezellig.

Sassy: Sorry, what? Gezellig?

Rebecca: Look it up!

They spoke some more as they haven't talk in a while and they had some catch up to do. She hung up after an hour with Sassy on the phone. Rebecca sat at her kitchen island with a glass of white wine. Still on cloud nine, she cannot stop thinking about last night. She had sent a text to Keeley hours ago but still no answer.

After wandering around Google Maps, she finally figured out where she was in Amsterdam. Where the boathouse of her mysterious Dutchman is parked. She pinned it so she would never forget it. And who knows maybe in a future trip to Amsterdam she could pay him a visit.

Keeley replied to her text the next morning

Keeley 9h24am: Sorry babe, lunch tomorrow? 3

Rebecca 9h30am: Sure 13h at crown and anchor?

Keeley 9h44am: Sounds perfect

Rebecca met Keeley for lunch the next day. She told her everything about her night in Amsterdam. Lunch was suddenly filled with squeals from Keeley. She wanted to know everything; she was so invested in the story. She really wanted to mee this mysterious man.

Keeley: So, you figured out where you were in Amsterdam?

Rebecca: Yes, I found it while retracing my steps.

Keeley: Well, let's go! I want to meet him.

Rebecca: Absolutely not! And by the way, what should I say to him. Hi, I'm your one0night stand from the other night and I'm completely obsessed by you since then?

Keeley: Well yea!

Rebecca: Kee, you're delirious!

Keeley: So what? You're never going to see him again?

Rebecca: If that's what supposed to happen then yes!

Keeley: You actually could?

Rebecca: For now, yes!

Keeley: That's why you are my role model.

Rebecca: Everything happens for a reason.

Rebecca came back home, sat on her couch and scroll through her phone. She could just go back to his arms in Amsterdam right now, but that night scares him. It's been a while since she felt that deeply about someone. Even with Sam her connection wasn't' that deep. That was more just a fluff or just for fun. She eventually made her way up to her bedroom and fell asleep.
