"Remnant: Disassembly"

Murder Drones belong to GLITCH/Liam Vickers and RWBY belong to Viz Media

Chapter 1 : A Twisted Fate

Among the infinite stars, in the void between systems, a ship glided silently through the darkness, its sleek design resembling that of a spider—elegant yet haunting, with four elongated legs extending from its core, giving it an unsettling presence. Though its design suggested human craftsmanship, the strange and eerie contours hinted at something far more ominous.

Inside, however, no humans were to be found. Instead, the ship housed three Disassembly Drones—machines designed not only for survival but for extermination. Their white exteriors contrasted sharply with the black, reflective screens that made up the top half of their faces. Their hands, ending in four sharp fingers, were made for precision and lethality. Each drone bore a black headband adorned with five sections of yellow light, which housed their sensors and communication arrays. The most conspicuous feature of all was the long, black tail that extended from each of them, ending in a large syringe, a grim reminder of their purpose.

There are three of them to be exact.

The first is J she stood at the helm, her neon yellow eyes glowing with a cold intensity that matched her silver hair, tied into twin pigtails with black ribbons. She wore a short-sleeved black dress with pockets on the side, cinched at the waist with a black leather belt. A black tie hung loosely over a dark yellow collared shirt, completing her ensemble. Black knee-high stockings with visible suspenders traced down to her metal feet, and a yellow armband hugged her left bicep. She was the leader, and she carried herself with professionalism and authority.

Next is another female drone that is lounging in the corner casually drinking Oil, this is V she have a silver bob-cut hairstyle framing her face with an air of detached cruelty. She wore a black-gray, short-sleeved crop coat with a fur collar and cuffs. Her legs were painted black up to her thighs, resembling thigh-high socks, with the same yellow and black stripes marking the end of her feet. She is the spear of the team, a force of nature, a whirlwind of violence waiting to be unleashed at the slightest provocation.

And lastly is the only man in the ship is N the pilot of the ship sitting in front of the controls, his attention split between the ship's navigation systems and of his companions. He wore a black winter coat with a fur collar, a black belt cinched around his waist, and a black pilot hat perched atop his head. Though he appeared more relaxed than the others, there was a certain nervous energy about him, trying to prove himself to his more ruthless comrades.

Together they make up a typical Disassembly Drone squad working for JC JENSON IN SPAAAAACEE!, or that was as far as N knew.

Besides that they were being sent to the Planet of Copper 9 an Exoplanet owned by the Company before an explosion happened and killed all biological life there. they were sent to deal with the rouge AIs the Worker Drones who after the Planet destruction becomes independent and with JCJenson having no way of communicating with the drones and ordering them again the higher ups at JCJenson decided to better dispose them rather then letting them be and on the chance that they might try the whole "Kill All Humans" mentality. So they came up with a solution to this problem.

And thus they send them along side others Squads of Disassembly Drone for a Planetary Invasion, N, J and V were going to be one of the first Squads to to come to Copper 9 with other coming their way on a later date.

"Alright, team," J finally broke the silence, her voice clipped and efficient. "We're on final approach to Copper 9. ETA: thirty minutes. I want you two prepped and ready for the mission."

N glanced over his shoulder at J, his fingers hovering over the controls. "Uh, yeah, about that... remind me again what exactly we're supposed to do when we land?" His tone was light, but there was an edge of anxiety to his question.

J rolled her eyes, clearly annoyed at having to explain repeat herself , she answered nonetheless, "Our mission is simple. We land on Copper 9, locate and exterminate any remaining Worker Drones. Once the area is secure, we establish a forward base in the Capital City for the other squads to follow. For now, we go down there, kill anything on sight, and then move on."

"Sounds simple enough," V chimed in, her tone dripping with sadistic amusement. "Just like a walk in the park, right?" Said before turning her seat back at them "We showed up Fabulous and then we killed everyone and eat their little heads off" she finished while gesturing to herself and J and N.

N chuckled nervously, his usual awkwardness bubbling to the surface as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah, I mean... they're pretty tasty. Sweet, warm, and, uh, kinda comforting in a weird way, you know?" He smiled sheepishly at V, hoping for some sort of acknowledgment, though his eyes quickly darted away when she didn't immediately respond. "Not that I, uh, enjoy it the same way you do, V. B-but, you know... it's necessary, right?"

V, lounging in her seat with a lazy smirk, barely glanced at him. "Necessary? Sure. Fun? Definitely. You could stand to enjoy it a little more, N," she said, her voice dripping with her usual careless tone. She flicked a strand of silver hair from her face, eyes half-lidded with amusement. "I mean, what's the point of being a Disassembly Drone if you're not having a little fun while you drain them dry?"

N swallowed, shrinking slightly under V's nonchalant words, though a small, hopeful smile lingered on his face. "I-I guess you're right. I just... don't want to get too carried away, I guess. I—uh—I mean, not that you're carried away! You're, uh... really good at it." His voice trailed off, trying to find the right words to impress her without sounding too awkward. He fidgeted with the controls, his visor face making the equivalent of cheeks heating up as he realized he was rambling again.

V raised an eyebrow but didn't respond, a flicker of something softer crossing her eyes before she looked away. She leaned back, crossing her arms over her chest as if to distance herself from the moment.

J, meanwhile, had been watching the exchange with growing irritation. She pinched the bridge of her nonexistent nose, her voice sharp and authoritative as she cut in. "Enough with the chit-chat, N. We're not here to hold hands and share feelings. Focus on the mission." Her words were clipped, her tone cold and commanding, as usual.

N immediately straightened in his seat, desperately wanting to please her. "Y-Yes, J! Focusing now!" He quickly turned back to his station, his hands trembling slightly as he fiddled with the controls. Though J's words stung, he still looked up to her, idolizing her efficiency and competence, even if her constant threats and criticisms made him feel small.

V, noticing the tension, let out a dramatic sigh, her voice oozing with sarcasm. "Oh, lighten up, J. Let N enjoy his nerves. It's not like we're in the thick of battle yet. Let him have some fun before the real work starts."

J's eyes narrowed, her lips curling into a sneer as she shot back at V. "Fun gets you killed, V. This isn't some playground for you to indulge in your sadistic whims. We have a job to do, and I won't have either of you screwing it up." She turned back to N, her voice lowering into a threatening growl. "And if you keep stammering through every sentence, N, I might just eject you from the airlock myself."

N flinched, nodding quickly. "R-right! No more stammering! Just, uh, focusing on the mission. Got it. Totally got it, J." He swallowed hard, his nervous energy palpable as he refocused on the ship's controls. Despite J's harsh words, N couldn't help but admire her dedication. She was strong, efficient, and always in control—everything he wished he could be.

V, on the other hand, let out an exasperated groan, rolling her eyes at J's intensity. "Ugh, you're such a buzzkill, J. We all know you love being the boss, but maybe give the poor guy a break. He's doing his best."

J's eyes flicked over to V, her expression softening just a touch. "I don't have time for breaks, V. And neither do you." Despite her biting words, there was a faint undercurrent of respect in her tone when she addressed V, a stark contrast to how she spoke to N.

N, sensing the shift in the conversation, tried to steer things back to neutral ground. "S-so, um... we're still on track for Copper 9. Should be nearing its moon soon—maybe twenty minutes, tops." He glanced at J, seeking her approval, even though he knew she rarely gave it.

J nodded curtly, her eyes still scanning the viewport ahead. "Good. Let's hope it stays that way."

V, ever the instigator, leaned forward, her grin returning. "You ever think about what we'll do after this, N? You know, when we've wiped out all the Worker Drones on Copper 9? Maybe we get some time off? A vacation?" Her tone was light, but there was a flicker of something deeper in her eyes, something more vulnerable, as if she was trying to distract herself from the bleak reality of their existence.

N blinked, surprised by her question. "A vacation? I-I don't know. Maybe? That'd be nice, though, wouldn't it? Somewhere quiet. Peaceful." His voice softened as he imagined it, a faint, wistful smile on his face. "But, um, knowing JCJenson, we'll probably just get sent to another planet to... you know, do what we do."

V chuckled, though it didn't quite reach her eyes. "Yeah, more cleanup duty. How thrilling."

J, however, wasn't impressed. "There's no point in thinking about the 'after,' N. We focus on the now. We eliminate the Worker Drones, secure the area, and move on. That's all there is to it. Anything else is a distraction."

N nodded quickly. "Y-Yeah, you're right. Just, uh, thought it might be nice to think about something... different for a minute."

J's cold stare silenced him, and N quickly returned to his controls, his shoulders tense. He hated disappointing her, even if she rarely gave him any credit.

V, noticing N's discomfort, leaned over and gave him a light, almost playful punch on the shoulder. "Don't sweat it, N. You're doing fine. Besides, you're probably the best pilot we've got, even if J won't admit it." She winked, though her words held a rare note of sincerity.

N's visors showed the equivalent of a blush at her words. "Th-thanks, V. That means a lot." He smiled shyly, before returning to focus on the controls.

J rolled her eyes and stood up, sliding into the seat beside V as they waited for their arrival.

V glanced at J, then decided to voice a thought that had been nagging at her. Not wanting N to overhear, her eyes flickered with text.

/Do you remember our deal?/

Hearing the soft sound of typing, J turned to V, nodding in acknowledgment as she read the message. She typed back.

/Yes, once we finish our job, IT will leave us alone./ Pausing to gather her thoughts, she added, /Just the three of us./ A hint of uncertainty crossed her face, but she pressed on. /I promise./

V nodded slowly, an uneasy expression settling on her features. She turned her gaze to N, who was piloting the ship, before returning her focus to J.

/What if he finds out?/

J followed V's gaze, her expression somber.

/I would kill him/ she replied coldly, yet a flicker of sadness lingered in her eyes as she glanced at N, then back at V. /It's a mercy./

Though disturbed by the response, V nodded in understanding.

/Then it's better for him not to know./

The ship's navigation system pinged, drawing their attention to the front. "Approaching Copper 9," N announced. The planet loomed ahead, its surface a desolate wasteland of crumbling cities and ashen skies—mere remnants of a once-thriving civilization. The devastation had left it in ruins, a ghost of its former self even light-years away.

J stood and walked over to N, who was studying the panel displaying the planet. J nodded to herself, and then addressed both N and V. "Alright, team, remember: once we land, kill anything that moves. The only things alive on this dust ball are a bunch of barely sentient toasters. Do your job, and we'll definitely be the top team this quarter!" She glanced at N, her voice turning playful. "And you know what that means!" Pulling something from her pocket, she added, "Branded Pe-ens!" as she clicked the pen repeatedly.

"Oooooh," N replied, while V simply rolled her eyes.

Suddenly, the ship began to hum with an odd frequency, and the lights flickered. N's hands instinctively flew to the controls. "Uh... that's weird. Something's off."

J straightened, letting go of the pen. "What do you mean, off?"

N's fingers moved rapidly over the controls, his brow furrowing in concentration. "The navigation's acting strange. I'm... I'm not sure what's happening, but something's pulling us off course. Like, *really* pulling us." Panic crept into his voice.

V perked up, her usual boredom replaced with curiosity. "An anomaly? Like a black hole or something?"

J, however, was all business. "N, compensate. Full power to the engines. We need to break free of whatever this is."

"I'm trying!" N's hands moved faster, diverting power as the ship began to shudder violently. "But it's not working! Whatever this is, it's strong—like a gravitational pull, but... different."

"What the hell is going on?" V shouted, worry etched on her face.

J didn't know, but she wasn't about to find out. "N! Get us out of this. Now!"

"I'm trying, J!" N's voice tightened with strain as the ship lurched violently, the lights flickering again. The anomaly's pull grew stronger, warping the view outside the ship. Stars twisted and distorted as if space itself were bending.

Just as the ship seemed on the verge of being torn apart, the pull intensified, yanking the vessel violently to the side. A blinding light filled the cockpit, and the three Disassembly Drones were thrown from their seats as the ship was dragged off course.

N barely had time to shout, "Hold on!" before chaos enveloped them, the ship seemingly swallowed by the anomaly.

Meanwhile, a worker drone at the spaceport noticed a strange anomaly on his screen, detecting something just outside Copper 9's orbit before it vanished as quickly as it had appeared.

"That's weird," he muttered, studying the screens. "I could have sworn I saw something." He shrugged. "It was probably nothing."

Little did he know, that single anomaly might have just saved his life from becoming a meal.

Back with the Murder trio, their ship shook violently, echoing the turmoil of a ship on waters caught in a fierce storm.

Amidst the chaos, a blinding flash filled the cabin, thrusting the ship into a swirling maelstrom of colors. Outside, the stars twisted and stretched into impossible shapes, eliciting a jolt of terror mixed with exhilaration from the crew.

"What is happening?" J shouted over the roar of the anomaly.

"I don't know!" N yelled back, his fingers frantically dancing over the controls. "It feels like we're being torn apart!"

V's eyes sparkled with fear. "Don't tell me it's her! We haven't done our job yet!" she exclaimed, anxiety creeping into her voice.

N, confused by V's words, shouted, "What are you talking about?"

"Focus, both of you!" J interjected, her mind racing with calculations. "We need to find a way to regain control!"

N sighed, frustration etched across his face. "If only I could get a steady reading! Everything is fluctuating!"

As the ship was pulled deeper into the anomaly, a voice echoed through the intercom, distorted and otherworldly. "You will never win against her… I will give you all the freedom you deserve…"

"Did you hear that?" N shouted, eyes wide with fear.

"Yeah, but focus!" J replied, her circuits buzzing with adrenaline. "We need to get out of here!"

With a sudden surge of determination, J moved closer to N, scanning the rapidly changing data. "If we can create a stabilizing field, it might help us break free from the anomaly's grip."

"Good idea, but I'll need more power!" N shouted, fingers racing over the controls. "If we can redirect the energy flow…"

"Then do it!" J commanded. "V, help him! We need to act fast!"

As V rushed to assist N, J took a deep breath, steeling herself for whatever lay ahead. The anomaly continued to swirl around them, a constant reminder of the danger they faced.

"Almost there!" N shouted, determination evident in his voice. "Just a few more adjustments!"

As the ship trembled violently, J felt the weight of the situation settle over her. "Hurry!"

With a final surge of energy, N activated the controls, and the ship shuddered. For a moment, they felt a flicker of resistance against the anomaly's force.

"Now!" J yelled, her voice cutting through the chaos.

As they pushed the controls forward, a brilliant light erupted from the ship, creating a temporary barrier that pulsed against the oncoming storm. The colors of the anomaly clashed with the light, creating a stunning display of chaos and brilliance.

"Hold on!" N shouted, gripping the controls as the ship fought against the anomaly's pull.

Just as it seemed the ship would be torn apart, a final burst of energy erupted from the barrier, sending a shockwave through the anomaly. The swirling colors began to dissipate, and the ship was propelled forward, breaking free from the anomaly's grasp.

As the ships broke free and reentered real space, they soared through the void, uncontrollably heading straight for a nearby planet with a Broken moon.

Hello everyone ! it's me I'm back and now with a brand new story ones that isn't a spinoff, with one of my favorite Indie Animation shows Murder Drones and let me tell you I've been planning this for a while ever since Murder Drones ended and I wondered what would a Crossovers between RWBY and Murder Drones, Poof here it's now being the second Crossover Story between the two on Fan Fiction

Overall this story will focus on the Murder Trio: J, N, and V. I've always wanted to see more interactions between these three, and I think J deserves a lot more spotlight. Seriously, she has more dialogue in commercials than in the actual show, which is just disappointing! Sooo….

Justice's For J

Anyway that is all I can say about this story but for now I'll be wrapping up my other story, The New World. However, starting tomorrow, I'll be entering medical college, which means my writing time will be limited. Don't worry, though! I'm committed to this story and won't be abandoning it.

I hope you enjoy and I hope you all have a wonderful day/night! Take Care! Thank you all and stay healthy!
