Later at the race site, everyone was getting ready.
"Ladies and gentlecars, we have a revving time for you today!" said the announcer as he stood on his platform.
"Our racers will go through the city where they will face three challenges before crossing the finish line; will they be able to figure out the challenges fast enough or will they get held up and passed by the others?!" he asked.
"This sounds awesome; right, Blaze?" asked AJ.
"Sure does," said Blaze.
"Are you ready to cheat our way through this?" asked Bash.
"Oh you know it," said Crusher.
"One last thing, a special field generator has been put in the city," said the announcer.
"It will keep any robots from helping someone to cheat in this race as the racing committee is tired of that," he said while looking at Crusher and Bash.
"Oh," said the two.
"It's alright guys," said Pickle.
"We're sure you can do good even if you don't cheat," said Dill.
"Now racers, on your marks, get set, go!" said the announcer before a horn blared. All eight racers then took off.
"Crusher's pulling ahead of us," said Starla.
"It's alright, we'll catch up with them at the first challenge," said Stunts.
"What are we going to do, Bash?" asked Crusher.
"They're going to catch up to us at this rate," he said while noticing the others right behind them.
"We can't use robots to cheat, but there are other ways to do so," said Bash before serving so that Crusher's tailend rammed into crates that were on the side of the road.
"Those two are still cheating!" said Stripes as everyone came to a screeching halt as the crates had fallen into the road, blocking it.
"Stay calm, this is nothing to worry about," said Blaze before blasting through the crates.
"Yeah!" said the others while continuing on their way.
