"So, let me get this straight."

"Okay."

"Some family's car breaks down."

"Yeah."

"So you pick it up, WITH THEM IN IT!?"

"I DON'T KNOW WHY WE'RE YELLING, BUT YES."

"AND THEN YOU CARRY THEM UP THE HILL, IN THEIR FREAKING CAR!?"

"YES, THAT IS THE GIST OF IT."

"AND YET, YOU STILL LET SOME JERKS BULLY YOU FOR BEING 'QUIRKLESS'!?"

"ONLY BECAUSE I AM."

'unbelievable.'

it's been a really weird couple of days for Miruko,

She was patrolling in musatufu because there wasn't much for her to do in her last location anymore, when she saw some scrawny-looking teenager carrying around a car.

No big-deal, right? Right. Just some kid with a strength-enhancer.

She saw him again the next day, but what really struck her as odd, was that same kid getting mocked by some pricks for being "quirkless".

Sure, a dude who can carry 15x his bodyweight became possible when quirks first started appearing, but that was just because he might have one.

Eventually it started to get to her, so she decided to approach him the next time she saw him.

She finally ran into him again a few days after the aforementioned incident.

He looked really different up close from at a distance.

First off, that was not a kid, he had to be 18 at least.

Not to mention his total sleeper build. He looked pretty scrawny at a distance, but if you looked closer you could see his biceps peeking out from his sleeves, and his pecs almost seemed to fill his shirt out better the closer you got. It was actually kind of impressive.

His green eyes had a certain warmth to them too. Instead of the cold, dead stare that you'd get from so many other people that you grow numb to it, he looked like he'd genuinely smile at you when you enter a room, just to help make sure you don't feel out of place. It was kind of nice.

After a bit of (awkward) staring she finally opened her mouth "Hey, you're that dude who carried that car before, right?"

"Yea- Miruko?! I'm a huge fan! You're my second favorite hero right behind all-might himself! Could I get your autograph? Oh, crap, sorry for getting sidetracked. Anyway, yeah, that was me. Why are you bringing it up though? Crap, didIscrewsomethingupsobadthatyouneededtocomearrestmeforit!?Ohmygosh, kacchanwasright!Ireallyam gointodiealoneinprison-"

"Relax, I've just got a question for you. Breathe in, breathe out. (Or whatever it is they say.)"

"Okay" He took the rabbit hero's advice "What is it?"

"Why do you let those pricks call you quirkless when you've obviously got that super-strength?"

He tilted his head in confusion. "Because I am."

Cut to the conversation snippet at the top.

Miruko wasn't really sure if it was more confusing or irritating to see some green haired rando denying his obvious super-strength, but it was common sense that you'd need at least a bit to do the things this guy was.

"I'm afraid I don't have any other explanations. I'm just a quirkless little weakling."

"I call bull. How long would it even take to get that sort of strength?"

"Three and a half years. Also, I really am quirkless, isn't there anything I could do to convince you?"

"Fine. Since you're so eager to prove your innocence, I've got a test for you to prove it. Meet me at the beach next week, 3:30." He practically beamed at the chance to prove his innocence.

"Okay, I'll see you then! Wait a second, how do you even prove you're quirkless? What about a quirk that affects other quirks?Couldtherebeaquirkthatspecificallyprohibitsquirkusage?IthinkIknewaboutaproherowho coulddothat, butit'shardtoremembersincehehassolittlemediapresence…"

"Woah, slow down, dude."

'I almost forgot what a fanboy this kid was after he asked for my autograph. Half the stuff he owns is probably all-might merch, now that I think about it.'

"Oh no, is it really that obvious?."

"What? No, that wasn't-" 'I've really gotta thinking stop out loud.'

"Maybe you do, but that's not the main issue right now. How are you gonna test it?"

Okay, maybe the green haired kid could be telling the truth with how excited he was to test it. No, wait, that's literally impossible. Get a grip Miruko.

"Calm down, dude. You're just gonna have to wait and see."

"Okay, I'll see you then."

"See ya."

After their conversation reached its conclusion the rabbit hero finally hopped away, still not quite able to shake her conversation with the weird young man.

The week went by, and a few minutes before the green haired young man was supposed to arrive, a man who looked like he could get pocket change sitting around with a mug arrived.

"How kind of you to show up. I was getting worried I'd have to tell you-know-who about how to contact you." Said the impatient rabbit hero, not being one to deal well with hold-ups.

"Why exactly am I here, again?" Asked the homeles- not homeless man.

"Because you owe me for that one time with her."

"Fine. But why do I need to hide?"

"Because he'll try and lie his way out of it if he knows what you can do." She was getting pretty annoyed again, speaking through grit teeth.

"There's no way he'll know who I am, I've got no media presence"

"You may think that, but he's too big a nerd to risk it"

"It's not like he'd be able to stop me even if he were lying. I get that he probably is, but would him getting outed trying to resist be worse than possibly getting him injured?" The man with the raggedy clothes, unfortunately, had a point.

"Fine, I can deal as long as you're helping. As long as he humiliates himself. And I'll be right there laughing at him the whole time. I might even show off how strong my legs are, just to show him up. It's gonna be perfect! PERFECT!"

"Miruko, you sound like a villain from a children's cartoon." He deadpanned

"Quiet, or I'll give her your phone number"

"Whatever."

The green haired young man arrived, and they met up as planned.

"Hi guys!"

"Hey, izuku. I'd like you to meet my good friend aizawa."

"You're the kid who's able to carry, what was it? 10x your bodyweight? You're pretty freakin' scrawny for a guy that Miruko insists is freakishly strong." He meant no offense, but he was still half right. Even if the green-haired young man could commit heraclean feats like that, it'd probably be because of his quirk, anyway.

"That's exactly what I'm saying!"

"If that's what you think, then why not test it? I'm sure you can back it up."

"Okay. What do you need me to do?"

"Just pick up something really heavy. I'll have my associate here test your mettle."

"Okay, but there's one problem."

"What is it?"

'Please tell me this kid didn't hear "heavy" and immediately assume I was talking about a train or something'

"There isn't really anything left to pick up here. I already cleaned it up"

"Is that why this place got so much cleaner out of nowhere? How long did it take?"

"For the first question, yeah, I did. And, for the second, it took about 7 months." The young man succinctly replied. It would have been a perfectly sufficient response if he had stopped there.

"Also, none of that stuff was even that heavy to begin with."

"What about the fridges?"

"Everybody can carry those." He said as though he actually thought that.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean? Midoriya, please tell me you don't actually think carrying fridges is normal."

"Okay, fine. Maybe I am slightly above average."

"Moving on. The kei truck some loser dumped there?"

"All that takes is some training. It honestly must have taken me longer than average to be able to."

At this point, Aizawa was getting concerned for the green-haired young man. The poor guy looked like he wasn't going to be able to sleep a wink when he got to his favorite parkben- I mean, his house.

"Get help, Midoriya. Anyway, what about that car you carried?" She asked with a twitch in her eye, and a smile that said 'I wanna murder you.'

"Okay, maybe not everyone can do that, but it's still possible. Right, sir?"

"Of course not. Are you okay? Any hard blows to the head or something?" He asked with his concern on full display.

"Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?"

"Because- you know what? never mind. Just pick up something that- did you say he picked up a car? You know what, nevermind. Just try to do that again."

"Okay." he said shortly before walking to some rando's parked car, gesturing back to the (not) homeless man with a reassuring nod, and picking it up.

'There he goes, I can't WAIT to humiliate him! It'll be great, how should I rub it in?'

"What are you waiting for? Turn off his quir-"

She turned to see Eraser-head with his hair floating, and his eyes glowing red.

After looking back and forth a few times for confirmation, she finally processed it.

'He's actually quirkless,' she thought, utterly defeated.

"Fine, you can put it down now!"

'Was he seriously being honest!? The evidence is right there. He can just freaking do that with nothing but a couple years of training under his belt, but that all that does is raise more questions!'

"Okay, what now?"

'This is a weird situation, no matter how you spin it. This dude seems interesting, I guess. And I could use a gym bro who doesn't break his legs trying to out-squat me. You know what? This might just be a pretty good opportunity for me.'

"How about you join me at my gym? You'd probably be pretty well appreciated."

"Oh my gosh. Are you actually asking me to hang out!? that sounds great! I can't believe I get to hang out with the number 5 hero. This is so cool!" He said it really enthusiastically. It was actually pretty cu- Don't finish that thought. Just don't.

"Aizawa, you mind meeting us again this Thursday?"

"No thanks, I have classes to teach. Why do you even need me around, anyway?"

"Oh my, are you really suggesting I should spend time alone with a big strong man? I thought you were better than that."

"Seriously? First off, he's 5'5 with shoulders narrower than your hips. Second, if either of you were an issue, it'd be you. Third, we both know you'd just change the number of holes in his skull if he tried anything. Drop the Mt. lady act."

"Oh, come on, do you seriously think I'm just a brute? I'm offended."

"Wounded, even?"

"Hurt, aizawa."

"Whatever, just don't do anything illegal. Unless I get paid for capturing you, of course. But seriously, though, don't be a creep."

"Yeah, yeah, he'll be fine. Besides, he's legal, right? I promise to take no for an answer if I get one."

"R-right! But what would I even be saying no to? You kinda lost me at the 'big strong man' bit."

"Oh, you sweet summer child. I'm too short on time to fill you in on all the details, but I might next time if I feel like it. Goodbye."

The raggedy man started his long walk to his favorite corne- I mean, his house, right.

"So, want me to walk you home?" asked the rabbit hero.

"W-What!? I mean, that'd be great, but are you sure? You're probably so busy! I couldn't." The green-haired young man was as red as a tomato the whole time he was trying to respond politely.

'Is he trying to let me down easy like I'm just some middle-school girl with a crush!? What the hell is he thinking!?'

It was then that she had an idea.

She took a small step toward the green-haired young man and leaned over slightly, slightly showing off her ample physique. "Relax. Are you nervous about having a cute girl at your place? ~I promise to be good~"

"O- o- of course n-n-not. I-I swear!"

"Good. Then why not just bring me over? "

"M-m-my, my p-p-place is a mess. I- I haven't h-h- had the chance to clean in weeks!" He was looking everywhere but her direction.

The rabbit hero smirked. Miruko: 1. Midoriya: 0.

"Just do it."

...

The two then proceeded to play video-games all night.

A/N bonus points to anyone who caught the reference hidden in there.

Also, if you notice that the ending is different from what you remember, that's just because I changed it. Not because I managed to jury-rig a phone to a microwave.
