NINE

Brenda and Christian headed to New York.

They arrived later than they intended.

They checked into the hotel and rushed to get ready.

Brenda never had to worry about what she was going to wear.

Christian's personal shopper always made sure she was taken care of.

She always had several options.

She chose a black Tom Ford floor length gown.

It was simple and had a very low back.

The back was the star and it made the dress incredibly sexy.

She wore strappy high heeled Jimmy Choo sandals.

Her hair, which had grown so much, since she arrived in Seattle, now fell down her back.

She had a part on the side with deep forty type waves.

She wore a strong red lip, diamond earrings, and a diamond tennis bracelet.

Christian was waiting when she walked out of her room.

He was in the process of pouring them both a glass of champagne, when he heard the door open.

He turned and watched her walk out.

His eyes roamed over her. "You look exquisite."

"So do you."

He handed her a glass.

"Christian, I am so sorry about last night. I just have to apologize again. That was so unprofessional."

He laughed. "Brenda, it's fine. You made up for it this morning."

She sipped on her champagne. "What time are we leaving?"

He looked down at his watch. "We have a few minutes."

"What kind of party are we going to again?"

"A business friend invited me to his birthday party."

"I'm sure a lot of networking will be going on at this party."

He nodded. "For sure."

They heard a knock at the door.

She finished off her champagne and Christian went to answer the door.

It was Taylor, it was time to leave.

They are in the elevator on the way down to the bottom floor.

Christian ran his hand down her back, sending shivers down her spine.

"This dress is going to get you in trouble."

"Grey, it doesn't matter what I have on, sweats will get me in trouble, when it comes to you."

He laughed…..

The party was extravagant.

His friend was probably just as loaded as Christian.

There was so much food, Brenda was overwhelmed.

She was still in her feelings about Sonny, so she was on a mission to try everything.

Christian spent the majority of the night talking business.

Brenda spent it snacking.

The food was spectacular.

When they first got there, she was glued to Christian's side, but after a while she grew tired of the business talk and left.

She wasn't afraid to mingle.

She could talk to anybody and the party was insane.

It was one of the best parties she had ever been to.

The music was great.

She met some interesting people, and a few of them tried to pick her up.

One wanted to fly her to Paris…that night.

Another wanted to paint her back.

She was sure some of them were on drugs.

It definitely wasn't the stuffy party she was expecting.

These rich people knew how to party and the dance floor stayed full.

She even danced, a little too much.

She walked outside to get some air.

There was glass surrounding the outdoor space, which was smart.

They didn't need some drunk person falling to their death.

She sipped on her drink and looked out at the city.

"It is spectacular isn't it?"

She turned. "Did you make any deals?"

"Maybe, we'll see. I saw you leave."

"I just needed some fresh air."

He ran his hand down her back. "Are you enjoying yourself?"

"I am. I have met the most interesting people, and I've been proposed to...three times."

He laughed. "That's not shocking. I told you, someone will marry you."

"Ha ha, you are so funny, Grey."

They could still hear the music outside.

When your baby leaves you all alone….

Brenda sat her glass down. "That's the song from Dirty Dancing and I don't expect for you to know what I'm talking about."

She started moving her hips and dancing in front of him.

He was very amused.

She grabbed his hand. "Will you dance with me?"

All of a sudden he spun her around and pulled her close.

That answered her question.

They weren't the only ones dancing.

Everyone outside was up and moving now.

Christian was a great dancer.

She saw a little of it in New Orleans.

Brenda yelled over the music. "What can't you do?"

He shrugged. "I'm sure there is something."

Come on take my hand, and baby want you walk with me

Brenda yelled. "This is my part!"

She pulled away from him and circled him, rubbing his derriere as she passed it.

He laughed. "What are you doing?"

They heard various yells and cat calls.

Brenda grinned. "That was in the movie!"

She bowed and pointed. "They know!"

He pulled her close and they started dancing again.

After that song went off, Journey's "Don't Stop Believing'' came on.

Everybody was singing the first verse so loud, including Christian and Brenda. It sounded like a rock concert.

It was amazing.….

They left the party in the wee hours of the morning.

They are on their way back to the hotel.

Brenda had so much fun at the party.

They danced until they left.

"Christian, you are a good dancer. And you really know how to have a good time. I like that about you and I learned that very early on. I learned that when we were in New Orleans."

"Is that one of the reasons you accepted my offer?"

She nodded. "Yes, and I also felt like we got along well. It didn't hurt that I found you incredibly attractive too. I have a confession to make."

"Confess."

"I just knew something was wrong with you. I thought you had a micro penis or something and you were bad in bed."

He laughed. "Is that right?"

She continued. "You definitely don't have a micro penis and you are definitely not bad in bed. It is the best sex of my life. You should write a book."

He chuckled. "Brenda, I think you have had too much to drink."

"Probably."

They pulled up to the hotel.

Taylor got out and opened their doors.

Christian grabbed her hand and they went inside.

She had no reaction, at least tried not to, but she couldn't believe he was actually holding her hand.

It caught her off guard, because he didn't do things like that.

He held it until they reached the elevator.….

Brenda took off her shoes as soon as she got inside of her room.

She was getting ready to take off her dress, when she heard his voice.

"Leave it on."

He walked up and started planting kisses down her exposed back.

He leaned down, reached up under her dress, and pulled her panties down her legs.

She stepped out of them.

He stood up and moved in front of her.

She looked up at him. "I'm not trying to Monica Lewinsky on this dress. I think I should take it off."

He burst into laughter. "She was an amateur."

"So, are you trying to say I'm a pro?"

"I mean…you suck like a pro."

"I'm kind of proud of myself, is that terrible?"

He started laughing again. "You are wild and a little drunk."

He leaned down and aggressively attacked her neck.

She let out a loud moan.

He walked her over to the window.

She knew where this was going.

She placed her hands on the window seal.

They were so high up, no one could see a thing, and her room was dark.

He pulled her dress up with one hand and unfastened his pants with the other…

It's the next morning.

Brenda ached all over.

She really had to start doing yoga.

She needed to improve her flexibility.

She would find someone when she got back home.

She sat up and stretched.

She got out of bed and went inside the bathroom.

She didn't feel like taking a shower, so she settled on a bath.

After brushing her teeth, she washed her face, and got in.

As soon as she got into the tub, Christian walked in.

"Good morning."

She smiled. "Good morning."

"You finally woke up."

"Christian, some of us need rest."

"I sleep. I need to ask you something."

"Ask away."

"What are you doing for the holidays?"

"Please don't tell me you are asking me to your parents house?"

He laughed. "No, I wouldn't do that to you or them."

She relaxed. "Good, because I would never go. Have they ever met any of your...women?"

He sat down on the side of the large jacuzzi tub. "No, if I brought someone around, they would swear it was serious, because I never have. I don't change submissives often, because they usually stay for a while, but it is too frequent to be taking them around my family. I wouldn't do it anyway. That has to stay separate."

"I find it so hard to believe that you don't keep in touch with any of them."

"No, we really cut all ties. I wasn't lying."

"That makes me sad. I would like to keep in touch with you. I would love to remain friends. I think I'd like you, even if we didn't have this arrangement. You think you'd like me?"

"I would not have chosen you if I didn't and again you are so different than any other submissive I've had. I don't think you understand that. You are absolutely gorgeous and I typically try to stay away from women who are too pretty. Mostly because they can be obnoxious. You don't rest on your looks, I like that and you have a great personality. It outshines that face."

"Well I'm glad you like me, and I don't care what you did before, we are going to remain friends."

Ha laughed. "You didn't answer my question. What are you doing for the holidays?"

"I'm not going back to Port Charles that is for sure. I guess I'll be here, unless I hop on a plane and go somewhere."

"Come to Aspen with me."

"You're not going to spend it with your family?"

"Not this year. I'm going to Aspen."

"For how long?"

"A few days before Christmas and through New Year's."

Her eyes widened. "I have never been to Aspen."

"Brenda, are you going to answer the question?"

"Of course, I'll go. Is it a work trip?"

"I work everyday."

"I mean for me."

He laughed. "Only if you want it to be. I thought it would be a little vacation, but if I have to be honest, I didn't even think about that. This is a business arrangement, so I guess we can come up with a number."

Brenda sat up. "You are taking me to Aspen on vacation, so I don't think you should have to pay me too."

"Yeah, but I'll still want you. That's work."

"See, I told you I was a prostitute."

He laughed. "Hurry up and bathe, I'm taking you out for breakfast."

"Yes, Master."

He stood up. "Brenda, you are playing with fire with that master shit. I'm going to leave or we will never make it out of this hotel suite."

Brenda giggled…

After eating breakfast, Christain took Brenda to a museum.

He loved art and knew a lot about it.

Brenda already knew that, because he was always reading books about art.

His passion for it made her appreciate it even more.

After leaving the museum they did a little shopping.

Christian bought her a watch.

A very nice watch.

He noticed that she didn't have one and decided to buy her one.

She was wearing a car on her wrist now.

While in the jewelry store she caught a glimpse of herself in a mirror, she looked so different.

This was not the Brenda who arrived a year ago.

She looked like money…

It's later and they are having dinner in their suite.

The room had a wonderful view.

The lights were dim and there were candles around the room.

The hotel set it up for them.

She guess they assumed they were a couple, but who wouldn't?

Brenda was happy they decided to stay in.

They had a long day.

They are enjoying a steak dinner.

Brenda is wearing an oversized lounge set.

Christian is wearing jeans and a t-shirt.

"Christian, this was the best trip. Thanks for inviting me."

"I'm glad you had fun."

"I feel so relaxed. I needed this."

"I know. Brenda, we need to get you signed to a bigger agency. One here. You would get tons of work."

"Are you trying to get rid of me?"

He laughed. "Of course, not. I just want to see you reach your full potential. That face should be plastered all over Times square. We'll send pictures out this week."

She nodded…..

Christian is sitting on the sofa reading and having an after dinner drink.

Brenda is curled up in a chair.

She is sipping on wine and staring out in the night sky.

Whenever she wasn't doing anything, she always thought about Sonny.

She wished she didn't.

He was married and having a baby.

It was over.

She just needed to accept it and she was really trying.

She had everything she could possibly want.

Everything but….love.

Christian was looking at her now.

"Brenda, you have got to let that shit go."

"I know. It's just easier said than done. He was my everything. It's hard to believe it is just over."

A tear made a path down her face. "I ruined us when I wore that wire."

She wiped her face.

"If love is as powerful as you say it is, you two should have gotten through it. Maybe just maybe that isn't your destiny."

"Maybe not?"

She finished off her glass and stood up.

He got up and blew out the candles.

She started walking towards her room.

She stopped before going inside. "Do you need me tonight?"

"Not if you are going to be crying."

She smiled. "Ha ha."

He started walking towards his room.

He heard her speak.

"I want you. I won't cry."

He stopped and turned.

She went into her room and he followed her inside..…
