Memory recorded, Six years ago.
The bump was small. Unnoticeable. But for those who knew it was easy to see. It was the main reason why she decided to wear baggier clothes. At 18 weeks it was still manageable… But she was pretty sure it wouldn't be for long. After all the genes thrown into that baby wouldn't make it small.
Kalt'sit caressed her belly softly, a small smile on her lips. The feeling of warmth and friction being contrasted by the soft cooling sensation of her engagement ring. From her other hand she looked at the echography prints.
Kal'tsit: I hope your father will find a good name for you little one…
The feline stretched her arms with a squirm, before resting her sore back against the bedframe. Looking at her left, she could see the first snows falling on the mountains of the Kazdelian frontier and the sun peering above them. The ears on the top of her head flattened. A cute pout forming on her face.
He was late.
Again…
She wasn't worried of him cheating. She knew that even if the giant was a demon of charms, he was as loyal as they could be. But still, it wasn't an excuse to leave his soon to be wife on her lonesome.
Or maybe she could just keep these thoughts to herself…
She heard the door of the doctor's quarters opening followed by quick steps climbing the stairs and finally his silhouette came into view.
She wasn't a fan of the long coat and helmet but well… This decision had been taken long ago. She smiled as she saw him shrug off his coat and remove his helmet In a timely fashion, crawling on the sheets with a foxy grin.
The tall and lithe doctor, laid on his side green meeting green in their gazes.
Sebastian: Missed me ?
He muttered in a sweet voice that made her hair stand on end.
Kal'tsit: For three hours ?
She closed the distance, already tired to play that little game, pressing her lips softly against those of the good giant. A chaste gentle kiss, as if she had already forgotten the feel of his lips.
Kal'tsit: I did actually…
Sebastian: Hmm, sorry for that hun. There's more and more rumors of Theresis readying a bit hit.
He sighed, before embracing the feline in his arms and relaxing on his bedsheets. His eyes soon perceived however the pieces of paper that the woman was holding. Already guessing what it is, he smiled with just a slight bit of apprehension.
Sebastian: You already got the results…?
She nodded once before handing him the paper which he greedily looked at analyzing the picture with great interest, before smiling from ear to ear.
Sebastian: A girl… You're pregnant with a baby girl…
Kal'tsit: Hm hm. Lucky for you it's not a whole litter.
The doctor chuckled lowly, tears were begging for release in the corners of his eyes.
Sebastian: Aye… A dozen of kittens at this time might be a bit too much. But it's not an idea to throw out the window.
The space between their faces was reduced to none once again as Kal'tsit began kissing her lover, adding her tongue into the mix without hesitation. But even if the rhythm was slow, it was but a bunch of cold logs that were about to be set on fire. A single second of respite to breathe and she uttered her next words.
Kal'tsit: Maybe we should do some practice rounds for that…?
As her words left her mouth, her index and middle fingers began climbing the long way up the buttons of the doctor's shirt, already dreaming of undoing them. But she was stopped in her ministrations and from her body to flare up when a finger dropped on her lips.
Sebastian: Slowly you damn woman. Why shouldn't we find a name for the one already on our hands ?
Kal'tsit: Do you have any idea ?
Sebastian: Not as many as I'd like to… And you ?
Kal'tsit: Too many Perhaps… Why not ask Theresa ?
Sebastian: Oh please. Her name is Theresa, her brother's Theresis and I'm sure that if she happened to have a son she would name him Theresus.
The feline chuckled soundly, for she knew that he was true. In Hindsight Theresa always was terrible at finding names for everything.
Kal'tsit: But it's complicated… There's so many of them that I like.
Sebastian: Then maybe we ought to make it simple.
He looked off for a second.
Sebastian: Lena. I like it.
It was simple, short, rolled off the tongue easily, wouldn't need a PHD to write it when she would eventually learn.
Kal'tsit: It's… Nice. I love it.
The lithe man was for a moment flabbergasted.
Sebastian: What, really? No long debates on how I should think more and all that? No endless battle to convince you that my tastes aren't that terrible?
She sighed, looking tired at his mockery before burrowing her head in his neck. She would leave a few hickeys there later on…
Kal'tsit: Oh come on you goof. For once you should be happy that I agree so easily with you.
Sebastian: Right, sorry.
He started caressing her back softly.
Kal'tsit: Lena…
She would be beautiful.
Sebastian: Now how could I make amends ?
Intense emotional response detected. Physiological reactions impaired, restrict ?
Custom subroutine 'emotion' momentarily stopped.

Closing interface.
Tears stopped falling from her face, her heart started beating back at standard rate.
It would be worth it.
A/N: Ultra short chapter-ish, simply because I didn't knew how tf I'd fit that in next chapter. My work on it will resume as soon as this one is published tho. See you soon readers.
