Planet F78

Tanya

A procession of gems lined the surrounding area leading to Blue Diamond's ship that had eventually been piloted to the planet of F78, from Tanya's point of view, she and Sodalite stood next to each other below the palm of the ship as it hovered above ground with its hand facing the ground. With both of their Pearls standing behind them in the meanwhile, Tanya and Sodalite had their hands behind their back in waiting while Blue Diamond could be seen exiting from Tanya's ship.

Breaking the silence between them, Sodalite spoke up while keeping her eyes forward. "What did you expect me to see in the rebels' eyes, by the way?" she asked idly with a skeptical look on her face.

"Zeal, anger…" Tanya answered Sodalite's question as Blue Diamond was halfway to her ship, "The competency to throw themselves into a rebellion for a cause they were promised." she questioned with a wry expression on her face. "That, and rebel gems have a penchant for asymmetrical warfare…though, I think in this recent war on this planet, the rebels weren't able to get a foothold compared to the one on Earth." Tanya mused.

Sodalite scoffed with a withered look on her face, "...If there's one thing I've learned from this campaign, is that the lower caste of gems are so easily manipulated by a rogue Pyrope …and I don't like that fact…" she answered softly as Blue Diamond finally reached them.

"My Diamond!" Both Tanya and Sodalite greeted the Diamond as she stood before them.

Blue Diamond, while wearing her hood over her head, smiled demurely down at the two gems before her. "Excellent work, Sodalite." She complimented her gem, prompting the Sodalite to preen at her praise, "And you, as well, Citrine." she said to Tanya as her gaze went over to her with a simple satisfied expression on her face, "I'll be sure to relay to Yellow that you and my Sodalite's combined work, achieved a quick finish to the rebellion on this world."

As one once more, Tanya and Sodalite chorused 'my Diamond', Blue Diamond offered a simple satisfied expression in response, "Now, as for your rewards for a successful campaign, the first thing I'd do would grant you two your own pearls." Blue Diamond momentarily looked at the two Commander's own Pearls, before continuing on to speak with a simple proud smile towards the two gem commanders. "But seeing as how you two already have your own already, the next step is to grant you your own colonized planet to govern."

While the Sodalite seemed to be ecstatic at being rewarded such a thing, Tanya on the other hand was panicking while Blue was discussing with her Sodalite gem of which planets of hers were available to govern, 'last thing I need is more on my plate! And since when do gems get granted a planet as a reward? I thought only certain types of gems of a specific caste were given the duty of governing planets in place of their Diamond?" Tanya thought to herself.

"Very well then." Blue Diamond continued to speak, prompting her to bring her awareness back to the conversation between the Blue Diamond Matriarch and her Sodalite, "If this planet is what you want." Blue said with a concerned look on her face, before making an expressive look of excitement, "Oh, I know just the thing for this planet." Blue Diamond clasped her hands together, "We've been rather low on Green Gems, for some time since…" Blue stopped herself as she began to become expressively sad, "...No…" She whispered to herself as she looked sideways off into the distance, before sighing to herself to bring herself out of her moping.

"Regardless…" Blue Diamond continued to speak where she left off from, "It'll be good to see some rare green Sapphires and Tsavorite Garnets once more." she smiled with a melancholy look on her face, "And with this planet so rich in Mercury, I'm sure you'll be able to harvest this planet and make it a proper gem colony."

Blue Diamond then looked down at Tanya with a soft smile, "And you, I must say, Yellow will be delighted to hear your success as well." she said to Tanya, before speaking some more, "And while it is in my power to offer you a reward, I see it fit for Yellow to be the one to grant you one." she calmly said, before turning towards her ship. "I'll expect you two on homeworld soon." she said, before walking towards the center beneath her ship's palm along with her Pearl behind her; In the next moment, a blue orb levitated down and encapsulated Blue Diamond and her Pearl then levitated them both back up into the ship through the open palm of Blue Diamond's ship.

As the ship owned by the Blue Diamond Matriarch began to levitate up into the stratosphere of the planet, Sodalite spoke up once more between her and Tanya while still casting her gaze upwards at her Diamond's ship. "It's been quite some time since I've seen my Diamond smile like that…" The Sodalite gem mused as she and Tanya faced each other.

"...Yes…" Tanya responded back as they looked at each other, measuring each other's response, "one can hope she does not return to her grieving…" she said with a critical tone in her voice.

Sodalite sighed to herself while correcting her monocle to set it right against her eye, "Quite so, now, I bid you farewell for now." she said while heading off in the direction of her armada of ships in the distance.

"Yes…farewell to you as well." Tanya responded back as she watched Sodalite leave, and took her leave from the area as well to begin ordering her own battalion of gems to start packing up to leave the planet. 'Now all that remains, is to scan Pyrope's memories, see if she's in cahoots with any other aristocrat gems.' Tanya thought to herself as she headed towards her orange war-hand ship.

Later

Within the orbit of planet F78, countless ships are seen flying upwards from off of the planet's surface and ceasing for a while in outer space; the armada of ships from two separate courts surrounded Blue Diamond's ship to momentarily guard the matriarch's ship, before parting up to allow the Diamond Matriarch's ship to warp away to Homeworld with several ships warping right after it to safeguard their Diamond. The remaining ships that were still within the orbit of the planet, were awaiting their Citrine commander's ship to warp off and follow suit.

Within the Orange Hand war ship of Commander Citrine, things were running smoothly, that is to say for most of the crew; within a certain room however that Tanya was within and the Olivine that worked with her to extract the memories of four previously caught Quartz gems, it was a different story for them. While her Pearl was off to the side to await further orders, Tanya had a pensive look on her face while she and Olivine were looking at the memories of the Pyrope that caused all the Rebellious mess.

"I don't understand…" Said Olivine as she keyed in more commands at her console, while Tanya was at her own desk as she stood and leaned forward with her hands place on her desk to look closer at the projected holograms of memories displayed within , "Everything is intact, but none of the memories add up for the Pyrope's actions." Olivine fussed as she tried to activate more commands to dredge up possible errors within the bubbled gem's memories.

"Indeed", Tanya mused as her eyes scoured through the files of the Pyrope's memories, "A lot of the memories are showing Pyrope was alone in her cause, and yet, somehow her 'rebellion' was able to acquire cannons and other such weaponry." She noted with a critical expression on her face, her brow was furrowed in thought as she tried to make sense of the situation.

Tanya stood up from leaning on her desk, and glanced over at Olivine, "Continue scouring what you can, Olivine, even if you don't find anything." she said while taking her leave of the room where the Pyrope Gem was held within a stasis field, her Pearl wasn't far behind her in leaving the room. As Tanya exited the room, Olivine bid her later with a crisp salute before resuming her work with her room while the hexagonal doorway was opened up by Tanya's Pearl. As Tanya exited out from the memory extraction room, the doorway shut after Orange Pearl exited right after Tanya and followed behind her Citrine.

Placing her hand on her chin in thought while placing her other hand on her hip as she began pacing forward through the angular hexagonal styled hallway of her ship, Tanya began to try and make sense of the situation with the Pyrope. 'First it was the suspicious disappearance of the Almandine Garnet in the Eastern Quadrant at the end of the campaign there, then there was the self shattering of the White Olivine Forsterite in the Western Quadrant, after that there was the shattering of the Hessonite in the Northern Quadrant from an unknown group we couldn't capture, and now I have a Pyrope with odd memories that don't add up." Tanya thought to herself in suspicion of all the events within the last hundred years.

Her campaign in the northern quadrant being by far the longest out of the four campaigns so far with the recent century, with the recent campaign being by far the shortest she's ever had to deal with, all in part thanks to Blue Diamond finally getting her rear end up and actually doing something for once the five hundred or so years since Pink Diamond's "Shattering". Tanya still puts emphasis on doubting the eye witness reports of Pink Diamond being seen shattered by one of her own Rose Quartz.

Shaking her head to rid herself of going into that tangent of a mess, she could think more on the suspicious event of Pink being shattered too easily.

As Tanya rounded a corner in the hallways she paced through, a chime echoed throughout the ship. "This is Nephrite Facet n4v1, please prepare for warp travel in three, two, one…" with a soft lurch of the ship, and from Tanya's position within the ship where there were 'windows' to show the outside, she watched as the stars in the distance became blurs and straight lines before disappearing as the ship traveled at warp speed towards Homeworld. Windows was the rough term, it was an aesthetic part of the ship, and Tanya could suppose it was rather pleasing to the eye to watch outer space as the ship traveled faster than light towards Homeworld.

Continuing on from where she left off from, Tanya continued to try and make sense of all the 'unfortunate' occurrences to certain gems; she continued to pace forward through the hallways of her ship, and thought inwardly to herself. 'It's almost as if…' Tanya stopped momentarily in thought, as a random idea passed in her head. 'What if…' her eyes began to widen in realization, 'What if it's not just some random rebellions popping up? The recent four are far too suspicious with how certain high caste gems were involved in each one, and summarily dealt with by an unseen…foe…element…aristocrat…'

While Tanya turned in place while her Pearl could be seen waiting beside her as she turned around to look in the direction she came from. 'Someone's pulling strings, but who? There's only so few higher ups above a Pyrope gem until you get to the level of a Diamond, But I refuse to believe the Diamonds would callously do such a thing…" Tanya's face then soured at a passing thought.

'Or maybe…I don't deny that the Diamonds aren't perfect, far from that.' Tanya continued to think to herself, as she turned back around and continued to walk through the hallways towards the bridge of her ship, 'They all have their faults, who's to say one of them is pulling the strings? The more pertinent questions are which one would benefit more from all this, why are they doing this…and that's simply on the theory that it might be one of the Diamonds.' Tanya refuted while trying to thinking up more reasons of all the happenstances of the recent hundred years of quelling rebellions.

Tanya would continue to try and make sense of all the recent odd activities with high ranking gems in the recent campaigns across the Diamond Empire and its colonies, and just as she would finally reach the bridge where her crew greeted her with the respect they usually give her, she wouldn't expect what came next out of nowhere and would further her suspicion that someone was working from the shadows of the Great Diamond Authority.

?

An older model of a Hand War Ship that was red in color, traveled at warp speed towards its intended target with its fingers curled in to make a fist; The Warship consisted of more stone-like outer shell of the hull compared to the newer hand warships of the Diamond Empire that had a more sleek looking hull with less seams. Within the bridge of the ship, the lights were dimmed with dark neon red, at the Captain's chair was a tall figure whose figure could barely be seen in the dimmed light. A lone eye could be seen that was narrowed in anticipation, while their other eye seemed to be replaced with a gem.

On one of the monitors that the pilots of the ships were operating on, it showed that their path was taking them on a direct collision course with a certain other warship; it wasn't long until warning beeps went off to signify that they were in range of the target ship of theirs. The Captain of the ship clenched one of their fists, and used their other arm and hand to swipe it across them in a wordless command to their crew to initiate the attack. Several pilots began keying in inputs, and shortly after, the ship began to emit a hum as it approached its intended target in warp space. With a loud 'thrum' and boom, the ship initiated an attack that caused their target to be ejected out of warp speed and allow them to exit out of warp speed as well to chase down their target with due haste.

Above a garden filled moon

A loud boom went off as two Hand Warships exited out of warp speed, with the red fist warship 'punching' itself into the Orange hand warship and sent it careening through space until it straightened itself out to face its palm and fingers directly at the enemy ship; just as it began charging its lasers on its fingers up, the red fist once again 'punched' itself into the open palm of the Orange Ship.

Unlike before when the Red Hand War Ship managed to send the Orange War ship careening through outer space, the Nephrite Pilots with Citrine's ship were able to eject several destabilizer missiles out from the back of the orange hand while controlling the ship to stabilize itself. As the missiles went hurtling towards the enemy ship, the red fist war ship opened its fist up and splayed its fingers out to project a projected light shield up to protect itself. After the missiles collided into the force field projected up by the red ship, the orange ship took the initiative next by hurling itself at the other ship with its fingers splayed outwards as well.

The two ships collided into each other as they clenched their ship's' fingers into the other, intent on crushing the other; after several seconds went by with no give on either side, the palms on the two opposing ships had small holes open up, allowing their passengers to exit out and board the other ship.

Surface of the Moon

In what looked like an abandoned garden, there were overgrown shrubs, floating pink obelisks that were showing signs of age, some were even showing signs of hairline cracks; on one of the pink stone pathways was a certain Pink Spinel, who was waiting patiently for her Diamond to return and finish playing their game. 'Come on Pink, this game was boring a thousand years ago! Why aren't you coming back?' the gem thought to herself.

As Spinel began to let her mind wonder and watch as one of Pink's butterfly creatures began to fly close to her still body as she continue to stand where she was told to stand as part of her game with Pink, her silent time on her Diamond's garden was soon interrupted by the loud sound of two war ships coming out of warp speed above the moon, causing Spinel to jump in shock and cause her to flail her limbs around in the sudden disturbance of the Hand War Ships.

With a rough 'oof' exiting out of her lips as she tumbled onto her rear end, Spinel glowered up at the ships as they began attacking each other. "Oh come on! You guys made me lose the game I had with Pink!" she grumbled while picking herself up, and took notice of her surroundings. "Oh…" Spinel lamented as she saw vines had begun to encroach her space, and would have been covering her feet if she stood centuries longer, Spinel wouldn't doubt she'd have been covered in vines and roots if she had stayed any longer in that one spot.

"Oh phooey." Spinel harrumphed as she crossed her arms, and lightly glared up at the hand war ships that were now clasping onto each other. "What am I gonna do now! I lost the game, and not just that, How am I gonna tell Pink I didn't stay where she told me to stand as part of the game?" she pouted.

Just as she was gonna grumble more, the two ships separated from each other in a large static explosion, and before Spinel knew it, the ships began listing downwards towards the surface of the garden moon. "...whuh-oh." She said aloud as she began to back away as the ships descended down to her location. "Run!" She comically with an expressive shocked look on her face, her legs elongated and allowed her to take long running strides as the two war ships came careening down from whatever caused them to both lose their anti-gravity engines running.

As Spinel continued to run with the ships behind her crashing down to the surface of the garden, she leapt with a deep overdramatic yell of 'look-out' as she dove into some nearby overgrown bushes with flowers on them; and just as well, as the two war ships finally crashed onto the garden moon with a loud boom and upheaval of the ground. Once things began to settle, Spinel peaked out from the bushes she lunged into with a curious gaze. "Ooohh, Pink's not gonna like that…." she covered her mouth and giggled to herself.
